I'm not exactly knowledgeable/articulate about art so forgive how this sounds, but I'd like to say that it seems like you have a really nice grasp of character design and line economy... people in your art style seem concise to me; you seem to know exactly how many/which types of lines and shapes you need to use to depict a silhouette, which then allows you to add details that build characterization and/or purpose (ie a zigzag of body hair, sweat drops, wrinkles, a hair out of place from the rest on a character's head, etc.). These also make the depiction feel more human IMO, which is something I personally love to see + really aspire to learn to include in my own art.
Obviously your art style may only appear to be this way to me because you've only posted a few pieces on tumblr so far; your more rendered art and your non-character-focused art probably have their own charms.
Originally when I started typing this out I just wanted to compliment the way that you draw characters having piercings that aren't in their canon designs, but as I started writing it out, I realized that what I appreciate about your art is more than just that lol. Thank you for sharing it with the world
OMG!
Okay i had this ask in my drafts forever, but uhm thank you so much. Ive been very discouraged with my art and etc etc and im glad you like my doodles ;_; i do love rendering too, ill post some finished stuff one day. been in a slump which affects motivation. anyways, thank you so much. Fuc k.!!! Ive beenbsuper deppressed n allat so i took 4ever to answer sorry! i just wanted to give this a proper post because this means so much 2 me! (Also, your second part of the ask im trying to draw stuff for LOL)
oh also most of all, ive always wanted to be a story artist !!!! i hage 1 im working on now to "i dont want to die" by the unicorns!
ty for supporting me even tho im a little niche and new tumblr, i have so much more i plan to work on, but oh man ty. a lot of my design comes from how i learned to draw curly hair bc i hated my hair growing up + also adding piercings i have on characters i see myself in or putting piercings on characters that i would think suit them.

I read the tags on your Kunikida post… go ahead and explain, my liege
JUST SAW THIS SOMEHOW ABYWAYS TYYY
OKAY so probably going into detail about how kunikida can be considered passively suicidal since i have the most coherent thoughts on that aand warnings for stuff of that nature under the cut :D + length
[also small disclaimer, i have been procrastinating reading dazais entrance exam and so far have only seen the anime adaptation which apparently left a ton of stuff out so feel free to correct me on inaccurate details and/or missed examples or just downright incorrect information]
[note: idk if passive is the correct term bc i was thinking about it and hes not exactly like oh i hope this kills me yk, so whatever that term is lmk <3]
This stuff also sorta ties in with his ideals and their potential self destructive-ness. they tend to cause him to either negligently often risk his life with there being an apparent “other way”, or just outright risk his life with barely a second thought for his ideals.
so kunikida has very strong morals and that’s the core of his character. the main ideals referenced in the show being his infamous “ideal woman”, “how to make dazai ideal”, and the ideal that basically tells him to save people. [i forgot what that one is referred to as]. If we’re talking timeline wise i think one of the first examples of his ideals causing him to negligently risk his life would be in Dazais Entrance Exam, or The Azure Messenger arc if you’re an anime watcher.
First example off the top of my head in dazais entrance exam would be when him and Dazai first see the hostages, specifically the ones in the room
after the gas came down dazai has to actually wrestle kunikida away from the room because otherwise hes gonna die. kunikida repeatedly shouts about how “people shouldn’t die like this”. This might be a bit of a tangent but later on in the episode he remarks how he “may as well ahev set the bomb off himself” when Dazai asks about Rokuzou’s dad, implying he blames himself for Rokuzou’s dad’s death. This is of itself isn’t enough for me to say “oh yeah he’s passively suicidal” so moving on to the main manga where there are several other instances of his tendencies to throw himself directly in harms way.
[there may be examples before this i just skipped to chapter 40] and starting off strong we have the thing with Aya. This could be written up to circumstance but he had the opportunity to avoid death himself so im counting it. he’s basically hugging death. that’s all i have to say for this.
of course he ends up surviving it because of deus ex machina yosano. After the fact, Aya asks him what he would’ve done if Yosano wasn’t there. To which he replies basically he would’ve done the same thing he just did except died and basically would have been fine with the outcome as long as she didn’t die in front of him. [he would’ve been dead as well and not had to deal with the guilt] i should point out as well, he does this because of his ideals. he specifically cites his ideals around these parts usually. The not letting anybody die before his eyes is one of ideals and the most common one he uses.
[im pulling that from the fact he had no backup plans or anything to actually stop the bomb aside from Yosano, since his words could imply he would’ve tried to save Aya. and the guy with the bombs was using the fact Kunikida holds his ideals very close to him, taht he wouldn’t have allowed Aya to die if he could’ve prevented it.]
aaand i think our last example and best example for tonight
context for the scene: they’re in the getaway helicopter and tecchou is trying to take it down via his sword and Kunikida decides to take matters into his own hands and take down Tecchou. First off, HE DID NOT HAVE TO, CHUUYA IS RIGHT. THERE. HE LITERALLY SHOT TECCHOU WITH GRAVITY BULLETS EARLIER.
HE DID NOT HAVE TO RISK HIMSELF BUT HE DID. also additional context, in this arc and the previous arcs, he’s been faced with situation after situation where his ideals have failed him and he’s been unable to exercise them and save the people he thinks he should.
point being, he feels like complete shit! he probably is thinking like if he should do anything then, it should be he makes sure he gets his friends out of there. regardless of whether he’s dead or alive because he jumps out of the plane and full body tackles tecchou while being in direct contact with fucking chuuya.
chuuya “has to stay out of the fights and arcs half the time because he’s too good at his job” nakahara.
chuuya “just shot tecchou and did a decent job at keeping him back a few pages before” nakahara. you see my point.
oh and then he just attempts to blow the both of them up.
he does not care for his life at all here. not one bit. also he did not need to blow the both of them up. he could’ve made a fucking stun gun or anything else that wouldn’t KILL the BOTH of them??
my whole point is he does not care for his life here and it’s gets worse the more you progress through the manga.
anyways anyways ending off, kunikida repeatedly puts his life in danger either for his ideals or neglectfully and/or without need. this has been a ramble. this man is not okay.
also kinda funny is he’s partners with dazai of all people, actively suicidal princess bungou himself. i really enjoy their differences and how similarly different they are.
^ not actually related to anything but i almost started laughing so hard with my family in the room at this piece, junichiro looks so concerned

I have another scenario for you, this time it's more angsty and serious. I've seen through the game the Bishops even after they came back to life still don't show any show of regret about the lamb kind genocide. There's not a moment when I don't think how angry Lamb would be to have the same murderers of his kind still acting like when they were Gods and having no amount of shame of what they have done. Under their eyes Lamb would show his darkest face of the lamb who lost everything. The Bishops would see the most powerful God that has existed while Narinder sees a little lamb in grief.
thank u so much for this! i adore the idea AHH
the softness in narinder after that kibd of realisation
"little lamb in grief" :(
adore it!
also merry christmas! hope you like this.
----
The firelit cult site was silent. Not a single star in the sky dared to look upon the scene before them. Roars and smashes came from inside the church, the followers unable to leave their shelters, as commanded by the lamb hours ago.
He had come from a crusade, carrying with him the material to create a statue of victory - all of the bishops had been slaughtered. However instead of a usual celebration, the lamb was eerily quiet, commanding everyone to a sleep through a ritual he promised was "for the best."
Narinder anxiously paced outside the church. The bleats from inside did not feel joyous as they usually were when the lamb happily cried to show him his latest accomplishment.
This was different. This was violent.
The cries were dark. Enraged, strong, broken.
The warm glow of red magic would flash and flicker through the double doors, causing Narinder to wince every time he turned.
He had not seen his siblings since he'd been chained and banished. Resentment was there, of course...but he had grown curious as to why they were not recruited like many other heretics the lamb had dealt with.
Narinder had nothing in his heart for them. Whether murdered or harvested, he could not care less, but alike a cat, he wondered and pried into whatever he could to discover the bishops' fate.
So here he was, listening to an outburst reminding him of the rage he had felt above after being outcast.
Narinder squeezed his eyes shut as the earth vibrated, taking a few steps closer to the door. He pressed his outstretched palm into the wood, followed by his forehead.
"Lamb." he called softly in a deep rumble.
The cries halted with heaving breaths. "What." came a low hiss from inside.
"Your temper is becoming foolish."
The doors flung open, jerking Narinder back onto the grass.
Before him, bathed in ruby light, was no lamb he had known before. Eyes red and weeping, fleece mangled with blood and rage, figure taller than his.
And behind him was a massacre.
Leshy, pinned behind camellia vine, coughed up the petals in a choked cry, whereas a dark puddle of water held Kallamar's unconscious figure. Heket, he recognised, her throat wounds stretched open to a new degree. Shamura was there too, their own web caught around their neck in what looked like an attempt at hanging.
All of them, seemingly alive, stared at Narinder with a horror and pleading gaze.
The lamb, eyes gleaming, calmed his breath. "What do you want." he demanded.
Narinder looked up at him through his brow. "You are angry." he said simply.
"He is no lamb I have known." Leshy spat, calling hoarsely.
"Because I am the only one who fought." The lamb replied, turning to him. He raised his hand, a flurry of black ichor following his palm. "And all of them will be set free when you are struck into the ground and mud from whence you ca-"
"Lamb." Narinder walked forward, ignoring Leshy's begging whimpers. "I understand." he said, eyebrows knitted in emotion foreign to him.
The lamb's gaze hardened, the ichor still swarming his arm. "You could not understand. You ordered this on me. Their souls went to you."
Narinder clenched his jaw, straining his eyes to avoid looking at the terrifyingly large amount of power inching toward him.
"Then why not kill him too." Shamura spat, coughing against the webbing. "You have had your fun with us. He was the one being fuelled by your cursed brethren."
The lamb flicked his hand, sending the ichor splattering onto Shamura, who hacked and coughed against it.
Leshy whimpered again, struggling against the vines of his own flower.
"I know why he won't kill him." came a shaking voice from Kallamar, shoving his head from the puddle he lay in. "We're immortal." he hissed. "Narinder can't die like the rest of the sheep you cared for."
Narinder's eyes flicked to the lamb's, heart sinking slowly. He touched his paw to the fleece, earning a flinch from the lamb.
"Lamb," he said again, looking into the furious red eyes, "A God can defeat everything but the past. No anger will win. Believe me, I know." he added, the bishops' eyes staring daggers to him.
"You are insane! He is no God, no lamb, that is a devil. A monster. A creature of the depths and darkne-"
"HE IS A LAMB." Narinder bellowed, silencing Shamura and the others.
The lamb turned to him, his eyes loosing their glow.
"He is a lamb. Like you are a spider, you a toad, you a worm and you a squid. He is not only a lamb, he is the lamb. The last." Narinder's eyes narrowed. "There is a knowing rage within oneself when your kind is erased. Why I am not punished, I do not know. But you have hurt him more than I."
Shamura growled against the webs, seething. "You are soft and weak. Predator turned prey."
The lamb stepped in front of Narinder. "Like I as prey turned predator." he whispered. "I have mercy for every follower I find, for they have never killed for evils. Righteousness some, defence some, but never evil, unlike you with my kind."
"Oh, but you are the embodiment of it, lamb. You are the evil. And we are the fear. They will soon be, too." They muttered, nodding to the church doors.
The lamb's breathing picked up once more.
Narinder clasped the lamb's hand in his own. "Leave. Leave and go to the pond, I will finish them."
The lamb's eyes softened. "For evil?" he asked, voice pained.
"No," Narinder looked deep into his eyes. "For justice. For you."
"Why?"
"I do not like to see you grieving." he whispered softly. "Whatever justice I may bring, I will try to. An apology for my own wrongdoing."
Shamura hissed, cursing at them to no avail. The lamb's body became engulfed in red magic, shrinking to his normal height, his eyes the same innocent black.
He clung to Narinder's robes, shaking.
"Do it." he begged, eyes shut.

Hi there! What do you think about Chad/Bryce?
hello there!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS ASK????? probably my fav prep ship 100/10 recommend i love them aaaa lot
what made you ship it?
well, for starters. they're canon. and it was what kinda drew first my attention to them. then i started kind of observing them like little bugs in a jar (i say confidently, as a city guy who's never seen a bug outside of cockroaches) and... i slowly fell for them i guess.
also because i want you to figure. chad and bryce starting to get closer as of second chapter but then chad kind of freaks out bc bryce is not a girl (i hc them as nb personally btw) and. internalized homophobia. so he tries to go with lola who is in fact a girl and the girl everyone wants so she must be a girl he should like and bryce feeling so betrayed but then the thing with lola goes. the way it does. and chad slowly has to prove to bryce and to himself what he really feels. idk there's a lot of potential for angst there
2. what are your favorite things about the ship?
it's about the trust, babe!! also bc i think chad is the only one who knows about bryce's job and. they do not know how to act because we know how the preps' world is all about personal success at the expense of relationship right, and bryce is particularly convinced abt this, so chad could just give out their secret and ruin them. except that he... doesn't? instead keeps covering up, walking them home when the shift is over. bryce thinks they can really trust chad, when they hardly trust themself, and it scares them half to death.
and on the other hand chad, always struggling to understand what he was missing- maybe he should be more handsome? better at sports? learn to play music? chase after the right girls? be spoiled by his parents the way other preps are? so he always talks soo highly of himself in the hope to convince himself and everyone else that he's whole and valid. but then bryce come along and they are perfectly okay just with the way chad is and calls him a moron when chad insults himself as if he was perfect like this???
it's about learning that maybe you can allow yourself to trust and to be trusted and understanding how human connections beyond differences work y'know.
3. is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?
this is actually tricky tbf, because i haven't seen a lot of them around- not zero, but still. we all seem to agree that they're great friends before being a couple and that works just fine. so, not really, i guess? but if anyone has any opinions, i'm all ears!!
