The other day I was thinking PokéMarts must have advertisements, right? So I made some!
Really in love with how the Great and Ultra Ball turned out. Space viiiibees. Also, turned these into prints!
Rounding off the first quarter of Round 1 are some very useful Balls indeed!
The Ultra Ball is of course a classic. Being one of the first 4 Balls introduced back in Generation 1, it has been a reliable choice for trainers for decades! It boasts a respectable 2x catch multiplier no matter the situation, and it's cool black and yellow look has a hidden meaning! When viewed from above, it becomes clear that the yellow is in the shape of an 'H', a reference to the Ultra Ball's Japanese name- the Hyper Ball! Can you deny it's a classic?
The Dusk Ball is a favourite of many players as well, however. For those night owls out there, this is the Ball for you- when used at night or in a cave, the Ultra Ball has a 3x catch multiplier! A very simple condition to fulfill and a better catch multiplier than the Ultra Ball makes it very popular indeed. This is also even after being nerfed too- in Generations 4-6, the Ball had a multiplier of 3.5x! Undoubtedly one of the most consistently useful Balls- but only if you're a nighttime player! Is that enough to get it into Round 2?
I’ve kind of been thinking about making more poke ball/Pokémon stuff like this and seeing if they will sell it at my local anime store 🤔🤔🤔 they’ve been pushing to carry local artists goods so maybe it’s worth a shot?

The third of our comparison matches sees the priciest of the regular balls go up against itself! Here's the Ultra Ball!
The sleek look of the black and yellow is fit for the best trainers around, with a simple but stylish design. The older model is just as stylish, but has some lovely design work highlighting the yellow further. It's modern vs a classic look, just like the rest.
