Listen. If I had to pick one Gay show, like the best of the best, the show that is just The Gay Show out there it would be Xena Warrior Princess. Hands down the BEST f/f romance out there even today. And like I’ve watched other shows and love them to death but absolutely nothing hits the way Xena does.

There’s absolutely none of that ‘wait…. Do I like girls????’. The closest we get is the storyline of Gabrielle getting made into a knock off vampire by a bunch of seductive butches. 

No will they won’t they. These two were ride or die in season one episode one and they simply just have to keep proving it by; almost dying for each other multiple times, actually dying for each other, coming back to live, sacrificing their afterlife, destroying a good timeline for the other, destroying fate itself etc etc etc

Like in the era of these ham fisted storylines, I’ll take ‘well they never ACTUALLY said they were in gay love in the show soooooo it’s queerbaiting’ or whatever.
