The woman was taller than him by half his head, Golden eyes narrow and gleaming as the blinding lights around them shone off her horns. Blue vapour puffed out from her hallowed cheeks when she exhaled.

"Lipiah, It is wonderful to see you in good health!" She opened her arms towards him as if expecting him to fall into her waiting arms.

"Li-Lipiah?" The name felt both foreign and familiar on Kenji's tongue. A warm feeling nestled beneath the surface of his colour timer.

One of the taller men behind Kenji spoke in a language he didn't understand, It caused the woman to retract her arms and rest her hands against her blue colour timer.

"Oh, my stars! I should have known, come now my dear we can get you rested up and properly healthy at the Silver Cross,"

Hiiiii, I’m curious about your Ultraman collection. Care to give me an info dump about all your cool stuff?

I'd love to! Here's a very brief overview of the collection thus far.

This is the henshin/transformation device shelf. Starting from the top left and working across, there's the Dark Z Riser (from Ultraman Z), Saki's Gyro (Ultraman R/B), D-Flasher (Ultraman Decker), the Sparklence (Ultraman Tiga), and the Reiflasher (Ultraman Dyna). Those last two are tv-prop quality.

The next shelf down is entirely Ultraman Trigger stuff, including the Ancient, Dark, and GUTS Spark Lenses, and a bunch of Hyper Keys.

Below that is the Orb Ring and the Orb Calibur (From Ultraman Orb), and then the Geed Rizer, Ultra Capsules, King Sword, and the Neo Zero Eye (from Ultraman Geed).

This is the old Ultra Monster Series shelf for figures 2012 and back. I have some vintage figures from the 70s mixed in there, all with the tags.

This is the new Ultra Monster Series shelf, holding all of the smaller, less detailed figures from the new UMS line starting in 2013.

Here is a big shot of the SH Figuarts shelves + the new and old Ultra Hero Series lines. The very top has New Gen DX-scale figures. The lower shelves have all the new Blazar stuff as well as some rarer boxed UHS figures.

if you look at the statue next to the lady, that is God with a G. Of the Ultraman franchise anyway, his name is Noa and yes, there are a lot of Christian allegories in this franchise. but he is holding a blue orb that protects the city where the statue is from the Kaiju antlar.

(context: i was showing some of my new dioramas  that i had just gotten)

so there’s this group of ultras called the ultra brothers right and during one of the shows I think it’s like six of them get crucified, and their newest member has to be the monster called ace killer and it’s insane

they are called the 6 ultra brothers and then there’s another group including them, just called the ultra Brothers and it’s a group of like nine ultras

and don’t get me started on how all the series are classified into eras because some of them are wonky, and some people can’t agree, which shows go where, but that’s mostly for newer shows

and now going back to Noa

he has this I want to call it a puppet form because I don’t know the accurate terms. But he is also Ultraman Nexus. and Nexus has like four different forms, and has the most hosts out of every ultra I believe. he also looks like he has a mullet.

now to noa - pls notice that he does not have a mullet. he does have wings or what are supposed to allude to wings. he’s got a counter part called Dark Zagi. he’s a little freak.

he is an entity, that aliens tried to control, failed. And he was after the energy from the ultras home planet M78. to I believe, go back to his dimension. him and Noa fought, and now he has beef (i haven’t seen nexus yet, might be wrong 🤷‍♀️)

also, almost every ultra in the franchise has a dark/evil counterpart. they are also like 50 m y’all giants of light.

and most of them take hosts because earths atmosphere, cannot sustain their true form for more than three minutes or somewhere around that. most of the time. and then there are ultras who just take a human form and try to blend in while still being an alien

So they travel in these balls of light and honestly it’s really cool. there are 4 canonical ultrawoman (again could be wrong) and there are three others that have had women as hosts (maybe????).

now want to talk about the ultra series that is so popular in China that I believe last year it sold more than the Mouse. Ultraman Tiga!

he got a 4kids dub of the first 24–25 episodes and man. They are rough. I’ve seen them, they are so rough. but basically Tiga is very popular with people in the west, because I believe it was one of the most popular ones to come here and stayed popular

which is why I believe anyway, of the Ultraman figures that I have found at GameStop 2/3 of them have been him. And probably the ones that are going to come to the US first will probably be him and what Tsubaraya Think are the most popular ones that people here would want.

also, I believe he’s the first ultra to have indigo in his color palette and people online like to swear it’s either blue or purple. When I first watched it, I thought he was purple. so he’s got three main colors on him, being indigo, red and silver. and I believe he is the start of the gimmick, where the characters would become all one color, or mostly one color as a different form.

so his all indigo type is the aerial/speed type, and his all red type is his strength type. And each form has its own use and drawbacks. And then it is revealed towards the end, that he was originally an evil titan. Who had a dark gray and silver color palette and honestly he looks really cool because we don’t normally get those colors

and he like gets the traumatic flashbacks to when he was an evil titan and killing people. LIKE for his series he has the highest kill count(i believe????).

anyway i can’t beat the tiga fan allegations cause like half of my figures are of him. and his are usually the ones i find the most, in the US anyway.

this is getting so long, dear lord.

I liked watching tiga, I loved the throwback episodes, but it was not my favorite series in the slightest. it’s definitely in my like top 10 but I also haven’t seen a good chunk of the like 75 year run of this series.

i’m trying to, and it’s very easy to because a lot of them are on the YouTube channel for free with really good subtitles and some of them even have really good dubs.

anyway, this has been my pitch for you to watch this show/series and you can literally pick and choose where you want to start. That’s the beauty of this thing. You can start with the most recent show that just ended or you can pick a show from 50 years ago.

we have one series that people call the darkest one in the entire franchise, that’s Nexus. you can basically watch to college age siblings, become Ultraman and then the shenanigans they get up to. you can go back and watch the original, which was supposed to be its own universe, along with the second show the franchise until they decided to make it a multi-verse situation. now to get in the multiverse. 😀

A very, i want to say convoluted multi-verse. There is a character that canonically travels through dimensions with the help of God I think??? I don’t exactly quote me on that, but he does travel through dimensions.

The Ultraman that does that most frequently is named zero. he is the son of ultra seven who is the second ultra technically in this franchise. and they have a terrible relationship with each other. Seven left him to be raised/mentored by his trainee, Leo, who he traumatized when seven was training him.

zero basically has become tsubaraya’s Golden boy. he shows up in like everything, he is very charismatic. I will give him that, but he’s got issues and don’t even get me started on the different kinds of ultras that exist because there are distinctions.

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! now here’s my ramblings as my reward

i’m not even gonna get into that because I don’t know all of the information or at least some of the information. I only know a little bit about that specific topic.

but a really fun part about the show is that they do a lot of tribute episodes so sometimes your faves come back in the newer shows and it’s great to see them and just a lot of them haven’t gotten that treatment because I think they do it on like the 25th anniversary and then like special anniversaries or years or whatever.

anyway, that was my pitch to watch the show so I have other people to talk to about it and not just my sister and my dad. Actually, you can blame my dad for even getting me into this now I must go and do other stuff. Goodbye.

I think TsuPro should make an Ultrawoman series, like your average Ultraman series but the lead is a woman rather than a man.

Also I think it'd be cool to have series where there's a dissonance between the gender of the Ultra and the host; like the Ultra is a dude, but host is a woman or viceversa; there's even precedent for that, with Ultraman Ace

Magix Ultra

Chapter 6

Chiara along Zero were currently on their way to a planet named Kirax after receiving a distress signal or distress signals from said planet. About a dozen distress signals were sent to the space garrison. When they tried contacting them all they got was radio silence. Initially Orb, Geed, X and Z were sent to investigate but what came back was an SOS in the form of an ultra sign.

As the two were flying in space, Chiara remembered something she was curious about.

"Hey Zero."

"Hm"

"Why were you so angry at Zett?" She asked. Zero flinched remembering the outlandish claim he told Ace that ended up getting to Taro and then to Mebius and then him.

"He...said something stupid." He didn't know why but he regretted calling it stupid.

When they arrived, what seemed to be remnants of a war greeted them. The structures were all on fire and crumbling. From their initial research, planet Kirax was similar to planet Juran. Both monsters and humans coexists with one another in harmony while being surrounded by thriving nature.

But what lay before the two ultras was a complete wasteland and massacre. Bodies of monsters were laying around after being brutally murdered. The lush greens of nature they saw from reports were reduced to ash and smoke. There weren't any signs of its human inhabitants anywhere.

Did they get here too late?

Out of nowhere a dark beam was fired their way. Chiara managed to put up a shield in front of them in time. Unfortunately for her the beam kept going and there seemed to be no end. The beam was powerful and she could feel the evil dark energy from it. Thankfully Zero took the opportunity to fly up and shot his ultra beam at whatever it was that's attacking them.

"Are you alright Chiara?" Zero asked as he landed beside her.

"I'm fine. I could do this all day." she assured him but truthfully if that kept going on for any longer her shield would've broke. Suddenly a dark laugh echoed around them. From the black smoke a figure familiar to Zero emerged.

"Ultra Dark Killer...DID YOU DO ALL THIS?!" Zero yelled angrily as he pointed at him.

"I merely used the lives of these lower life forms for a greater cause." he answered cooly, not at all phased by Zero's rage.

"Greater cause my foot! What could be worth innocent lives!?" now it was Chiara's turn to get angry. The air around them reeked of death. Seeing all the destruction and massacre made her blood boil.

"You'll find out in due time. That is, if you can survive this." Instantaneously another dark beam was shot from right behind them and they disappeared into the darkness. _________________________________________

Somewhere within the galaxy, a large planet sized ship floated in space. A woman decked in gold and blood red regal armour sat leisurely on her throne while she studied the holographic screen floating above the palm of her hand.

Just then a darkclops Zero entered the room. He walked up before stopping to bow before his master.

"Rise." The woman said boredly.

"My lady, Ultra Dark Killer has succeeded in trapping Ultraman Zero in the dark killer zone." the robot informed her. Hearing that she curved her lips into a smile that revealed a row of white and sharp teeth.

"Really now? And here I thought it might've taken a few tries before they sent him. Who else came with him?" She questioned.

"An Ultrawoman that goes by the name Chiara arrived with him."

"An Ultra...woman?" She said the word like it disgusted her. A large holographic screen materialized in the room and displayed the image of Zero standing close to Chiara asking if she was alright.

"Ultrawoman Chiara now was it?" She hummed while tapping her manicured claws on her throne. The more she looked at Chiara the more agitated she felt.

"Tell Ultra dark killer to proceed as plan and suck the light out of those ultras. But bring Zero to me alive." She ordered him. The Darkclops bowed before being dismissed. The alien woman turned her attention back to the holographic screen on her hand. She gazed at the image on it as she smiled again.

"Just wait a little longer darling and we'll finally be reunited..."

"And I found just the perfect host for you." _________________________________________

One moment they were on planet Kirax facing off against Ultra dark killer and the next they find themselves in a place filled with dark energy. The dark killer zone.

"Zero! Chiara!" They were surprised and relieved to see Orb, Geed, X and Z coming towards them.

"You guys! You've been here all this time? What happened?"

"When we arrived the planet was already in ruins. The next thing we knew, we were ambushed by Ultra dark killer and he sent us here." Orb informed them. Suddenly, several figures manifested from the dark void. Chiara darkness, Orb darkness, Geed darkness, X darkness, Z darkness.

"Not these guys again!"

They didn't have time to react as lunged at them at lightning speed. Each of them ended up disappearing into the darkness as only Zero was left untouched and alone. Just then Ultra dark killer appeared.

"You! What did you do to them?! Where are they?!" Zero growled as he watched Ultra dark killer walk around him in a circle mockingly.

"I simply sent them to different parts of the dark killer zone." On cue five holes tore into the void and showed Chiara, Orb, Geed, X and Z. Each of them were alone by themselves.

"I admit, you ultras a strong. Stronger when you're together. So that is why I'll make sure each of you perish alone in this darkness!"

Zero darkness emerged and attacked Zero. The others were in the same predicament. Each ultra was fighting dark versions of themselves and the fact that the dark killer zone was sucking away their energy only made things worse.

"It's still 20000 years too early for a cheap copy to beat me!" Zero shouted before landing another kick to Zero darkness. Out of nowhere, four more Zero darkness showed up and attacked him all at once. His color timer started flashing red as so did the others.

Zero felt weak from having his light diminish and in that moment the five Zero darkness managed to restrain him and pushed him down on his knees. He tried fighting back but it was no use.

"Unlike your comrades, my master has other plans for you." Ultra dark killer said.

"Master? Hah, ya can't do things by yourself so now you need someone else pulling your leash." The ultra mocked and got a kick to the gut as punishment.

"Let's see of you'll laugh once you see the death of your friends." Ultra dark killer spoke as one Zero darkness grabbed the Zero's head and forced him to look up.

To his horror Orb, Geed, X and Z had succumbed to the darkness and turned to stone. Only Chiara remained as she kept fighting off not only Chiara darkness but also Orb darkness, Geed darkness, X darkness and Z darkness. But weirdly enough, her color timer wasn't flashing red even after fighting for so long and in the dark killer zone nonetheless.

Although that didn't matter because the next thing he knew, all five darkness clones simultaneously fired their dark ultra beams at her. He immediately stood up but was jerked back down. Even in his weakened state Zero continued to struggle against their hold as Chiara's painful cries filled his ears. _________________________________________

All by herself in the dark killer zone surrounded by dark copies of herself and her friends, Chiara collapsed from the pain and exhaustion of battling all five dark ultras. The final nail on the coffin was being hit with their dark ultra beams all at once.

She held her screams in when Chiara darkness pierced her gut with a dark saber. Since Ultras bleed light the blood that was spilling from her wound became the only source of light in this dark abyss.

Chiara darkness raised her saber once again ready to strike.

"Any last words?"

Chiara didn't hear what she said. All she could think about were the others.

"I can't give up...I can't give up..." she chanted in her mind.

"Orb, Geed, X, Z....Zero..."

Chiara thought about how the others might still be fighting while she was already down. Unfortunately for her, she was unaware of her friends demise.

Before Chiara darkness brought her saber down to strike, Chiara mumbled something she couldn't quite catch.

"What was that?" She questioned.

"I...can't..." suddenly Chiara's color lamp began to glow brightly making the darkness clones back away. Even with blood spilling out of her gut she still gathered all her strength to stand up.

With determination and power radiating off her, she clenched her fist and placed it over her color lamp as she yelled,

"I...I WON'T GIVE UP!!!"

Then a golden light burst throughout the dark killer zone and spread all while turning the darkness clones to dust. Not only that, the sudden wave of light recharged Zero and revived Orb, Geed,X and Z. The walls separating them were gone and they could finally see each other.

"Master!!!" Z tackled Zero as the others hugged each other in relief.

"Hey! Get off of me kid! Get! Off!" Zero kept swatting his back but Z wouldn't budge. And honestly after what happened, he couldn't bring himself to outright shove him away.

"But what is all this?" X said as he looked around him. The dark killer zone was no longer dark. It was just light all around. Light that felt oddly familiar to them.

"Wait, where's Chiara?" Geed asked after noticing they were short one ultra. Suddenly all five ultramans caught sight of something that shone brightly not so far away from them.

"That's..."

Slowly the light started dimming. It faded and revealed Chiara fist still on her color lamp. She swayed from side to side before falling to her knees.

"Chiara!" Zero rushed to her followed by the rest. Hearing her name Chiara looked up and saw Zero running towards her.

"Ze...ro..." she uttered as her vision became blurry. The red and blue ultra caught her just in time before she collapsed.

Susan knocks on her sister's front door and Jack is nervously clear his throat ready to introduce himself to Susan's "Cute little nephew." Only for his soul leave his body when he comes face to face with a very confused Seven.]

Seven: What the hell are you doing here?

Jack, too stunned: *makes a pathetic croaking noise as he realizes who his fiancée's family is*

Susan: Seven, don't be rude! I told you all that I was introducing my fiancé today!

Seven: Y-yeah, and where is he?

Susan, clings to Jack's arm: He's right here silly.~

Seven: Oh...I see.~

Mother, from inside: Seven, don't hold them up, let them in!

Mother not noticing the tension in the air; happily ushers her sister away so they can gush about the engagement, leaving Jack to face the wolves alone.]

New Generation Stars: While Katsumi feels like they should leave things to Asahi, Isami insists on thinking about her, first the Halloween party, then her awakening as Ultrawoman Grigio, and lastly her battle alongside Zero, which finally triggers her data, though he is now worried she will be annoyed by them.

Geats: Ukiyo Ace has vanished, but no one knows what happened to him, similarly, Sara now has no idea what happened to Keiwa. Kyuun notes Neon has forgotten everything, and while hearing her sound happy about a marriage interview stings, he thinks she's better off not knowing. As she gives him his belt, Beroba points out to Michinaga he's being the exact same as the Riders he hates, which he acknowledges, but doesn't care, also he is no longer part Jamato. Chirami gathers possibly all the ID Cores they have, telling Tsumuri the desperate struggles will be good entertainment, and seemingly caring nothing for the lives of the people of this world. Sueru notes to the Goddess of Creation that the time is upon them. As John and Ben note Neon has been different lately, missing her escaping, Tsumuri approaches and regretfully gives them their old Cores and Drivers, she also approaches Neon and leaves the equipment, but can't bring herself to say more. Before she can touch the Core Buffa Musou Zombie bursts in, telling her not to touch the Core while fighting John & Ben, who tell her to run, and both go to henshin, John using Beat, Ben using Fever. Neon is caught by Beroba, who forces her to touch the Core breaking her as Kyuun finds her, while Buffa destroys both John and Ben's cores, forcibly retiring them. Neon tells Kyuun to help her remember next time, and he offers her a place in the future. Buffa defeats Nagayama Kazunori, Kamen Rider Groovy, a Rider using Ninja, wiping out the active rider slate, to Chirami's distress, as there was even a Desishin in the roster. He goes through the remaining ID Cores, and tosses away the best option, Geats, which Tsumuri takes, and then decides to request help from the supporters, promising Ziin and Kekera he will revive their chosen Riders if they help defeat Buffa, Ziin agreeing, but Kekera's response is less clear as he leaves, then Michinaga breaks in, returning the Vision Driver so he can eliminate the few remaining Riders, Ziin and Glare2. They fight, Ziin defeated first, and Glare2 offering more wishes, but the only other ideal world he wants is one without the DGP, as goes to strike, as Tsumuri asks Ace via the ID Core what should be done, the attack is suddenly interrupted, as Ukiyo Ace appears, the ID Core having vanished from Tsumuri's hand, and transforming into Geays Magnum Boost. Buffa tells him not to try it, only for Geats to instead target Glare2. Sueru notes Tsumuri is awakening. Minor note, apparently John's form is called Garun and Ben's is Lancer, and he was also using Beat via Fever.

Kingohger: The Shugoddom citizens believe Racles must be responsible for saving them with God Hooper, which leaves just as suddenly. As Racles wants Gira's body found, Gira briefly ponders if Racles deliberately failed to kill him, but dismisses it, he is ordered by the kings to stay hidden, though each on splitting immediately orders their retainer to bring Gira t their kingdom, as Deathnarok, remorseful for the destruction that kill he done to Tikyu, orders attacks on all 5 kingdoms, steadily going to each to feed nutrients to the cocoons while fighting the king. Shiokara, Sebastian and Kuroda run into eachother, and pretend not to know what eachother was doing, offering Gira safety, but are warned away from Ishabana, and have to leave N'Kosopa after a near miss with Dougram, they head to Tofu, where the truth comes out, only for Morfonia to grab Gira and drag him to Gokkan, also in Tofu Kaguragi questions Racles on the "rumours" actually him seeing it himself, that Shugoddom has another Guardian Spirit, getting a veiled threat. Gira finds they're all ridiculous, but as the attack begins on earnest Morfonia has him fight in King-Ohger. Batta appears, Gira realising it lives Sasorin, and tells it to ask how it feels on person, before joining to defeat the Bugnarok. However, he finds Deathnarok over the other retainers, Morfonia finding a beaten Rita, as he activates the Cocoons, preparing to bring destruction.

Dogengers: Akuta makes his introduction to the Dogengers, as Yoriki explains to Shiraishi that he was the one who gave the instructions to use the Wappa. Akuta explains about the Oshikawa Group arrest, and how the members refused to talk about what did them in, but they now have the sketch of Yuz-Yuz. At AHK, Yabai Kamen is also stressed about the news, not the Oshikawa arrest, but Dangomushiman's, Nectaris goes out for work, Yuz-Yuz decides to follow. Shiraishi and Akuta on patrol are informed the two are at FoodWay, chased by an employee after Yuz-Yuz unknowingly steals a snack, when Yamashiron shows up, greeting Nectaris, and immediately fulfills Yuz-Yuz's goal of acquiring his business card. Nectaris prompts Yuz-Yuz to create new footsoldiers, Redron tries to fight them while Aoiron and Daidairon fight Nectaris. Shiraishi arrives, and is promoted by Akuta to have his first proper change, and how to switch his gun to the Yudoto and defeat the soldiers with Redron, before spotting Yuz-Yuz. She has no data of Shiraishi, but returns the business card before leaving. Redron returns to his friend fighting Nectaris, recalling their work together, forms Yamashiron, and inspires Shiraishi's policeman heart, together the two working together to defeat Nectaris, who is subsequently detained. Yamashiron has to rush to work, in the aftermath Shiraishi feels demoralised, but is encouraged by Akuta.

Juuga Vs Olteca: George films a vlog of his morning routine, and discussed his plan to use the Juuga Driver to complete his Humanity as Kamen Riders project. On his way to Blue Bird, he gets a call from Hiromi that Olteca has escaped. At the lab he discusses with two other scientists the hell their work has received from Takada, an old friend of his father's. Takada himself his stressed out from public opinion against the project, and shares with George a warning video sent by Olteca and his Neo Deadman group. When a Brachio Deadman attacks, George becomes Juuga to fight it, but the Deiver shorts out either so the apparent user flees, and subsequently uploads a video filled with comments blaming Kamen Riders for the continued existence of Kaijin. For help updating the Juuga Driver, he goes to Nobel Prize winner Sawagami Rinna, who is in a mood with Otta at the moment, but is already helping a certain Hatsushiba Makoto with the Demons Driver, and seems quite taken with him. The one who freed him promised him the secret of human evolution in exchange for the Juuga Driver. Rinna gives Orteca the Demons Driver and Daiouika vistamp, but then gets wound up over her belief of Otta having an affair and doesn't help George, further, Hiromi is out of action after doing a test of courage with Ikki and Kagerou. As Olteca wanders, he is filmed by the same hooded figure filming the earlier fight, as members of Neo Deadmans meet, lead by Natsuki Hana.
