My favorite underrated little Tarlos moments (in no particular order)

TK holding Carlos' hand during Owen's intervention in 2x10

When Carlos comes to the firehouse for lunch in 3x17 and the first thing he does is go over to TK and touch him

When TK calls Owen to bring the limes in 2x11, tells Carlos to pull himself "out of the shame spiral," and then says to Carlos "crisis averted" and Carlos winks

When Owen calls TK in 3x16 and TK and Carlos are just hanging out in the loft and might order sushi in a little bit

When TK comes home to Carlos after their fight in 2x12, and they exchange the soft little "hi" "hi" and TK puts his hand on Carlos' face

TK admiring how adorable babysitter Carlos is in 2x14 and Carlos' smile back at him

Carlos stopping TK from getting hit by a car at the beginning of 1x10 (also TK a second later pulling Carlos back from the danger)

When Carlos tells TK that the honeymoon period "can last a while" in 2x02

The little moment of TK rubbing Carlos' back when the group gets together at the burned out firehouse in 2x13

The way Carlos goes after TK and brings him a mineral water at the end of 3x07

Underrated Monday

I love this scene so much and this moment is my favorite. When Carlos opens the door, he's already assumed that they've broken up but he still asks. Because he still has hope that the fight they had wasn't the end of them and that they could save the growing relationship between them. Carlos always has so much hope.

This moment. Carlos and TK aren't even together at this point but Carlos still shows up to the hospital either while he's still on shift or after (I don't think it was ever clear) because TK had gotten shot on a scene they were both at and Carlos was already so fully gone on this man. He has tears in his eyes, he's trying not to cry, he's full of all of this emotion and love that he shouldn't be having for a man that he's merely hooking up with and they don't even have labels yet. But he still shows up because he cares. And I think that's beautiful.

This is just adorable. I imagine that on this day, Carlos had the day off so he didn't have anything to do. He's just chilling in his comfy clothes and his glasses, reading his magazines, and thinking about watching Grand Design with his boyfriend when he comes home with no thought that TK was going to bring a monster into their home.

It's the "Sadie you could have died" for me. The way he says it is ✨ interesting ✨.

Carlos' facial expressions and his mannerisms in this scene just end me. He's so sassy and sweet and I just love it.

This week’s pick for underrated Gallavich author is LeeJean

I haven’t had a chance to read all 12 of their stories yet but the ones I have read are stunning! LeeJean really nails the characterisations and has a really great descriptive writing style. They have a great ability to write scenes that could have been canon or better.

Gallagher family dynamics (4356 words) by LeeJean Summary: Liam and Mickey share the house as Chicago begins to open up after the first wave of COVID-19.

‘It takes Mickey a while to realize how much time he spends alone with Liam in the Gallagher house. Liam’s doing his schoolwork from home. He calls it ‘distance learning’, and Mickey can’t believe the kid is actually still working so hard when he doesn’t have classes to attend.‘

Survival is a four letter word (3375 words) by LeeJean

Summary: Runs from Mickey’s childhood to season 9 episode 6.

“The thing about loving someone, making them your fucking family, was that you couldn’t turn that shit off at will. Mickey might have gotten one secret off his chest, but now something else burrowed it’s way under Mickey’s skin, making him itchy and tense and wistful. That something was Ian fucking Gallagher.”

All my meaningful firsts (2525 words) by LeeJean Summary: Set the night of Mickey and Ian’s sleepover in 3.06. Just two dudes, watching movies, eating snacks and drinking beer, getting each other off on the couch.

Does NOT get into the events of the following morning.

“Ian’s a good fucking kisser. Amazing, actually, and Mickey curses himself a little, because he’s been missing out on this, on kissing Ian for far too long. There’s something predatory about it, at least between the two of them.”

Can you imagine The Never Ending Story written by Stephen King? Well, wonder no more, because The Talisman is... sort of like that. It's a fantasy story about a child traveling to a parallel world in order to save the life of his ailing mother AND the other world's queen, but written jointly by Stephen King and Peter Straub? 10 underrated little moments from 3x13

3x13 is one of my favorite Tarlos episodes, and is probably the episode that has simply the MOST Tarlos--so many tiny little moments, casual intimacy, affectionate touch, etc. Truly one of my favorite things about the episode is how many beautiful/adorable/funny/sweet little moments there are. Here are 10:

The way Carlos jumps up immediately to greet and hug TK at the door when he arrives home at the beginning of the episode.

Carlos telling TK how proud he is of him for going to his meetings and not allowing TK to simply deflect it.

When Carlos responds, "There's that name again" to TK mentioning Cooper.

How cute and cozy TK looks under his throw blanket when he's talking to Cooper at 3 am.

The way Carlos says, "I just think that's a very nice sweater for the Y."

The way TK says, "Hi, baby," when he comes home and Carlos is making dinner--something about the way that line is delivered just got permanently embedded in my brain, I can't even explain it.

TK just throwing his bag on the floor and his coat on the couch when he gets home--the fact that Carlos made no comment to that display was probably one of the first things that alerted TK to there being something wrong.

The sulky way Carlos says, "it's just chicken," when TK tells him his dinner for one smells amazing.

Carlos saying "Get up. I mean it," and TK getting up because he knows Carlos means it.

The way Carlos not only brings Cooper there for TK but also makes sure TK will be fed.
