I think about Leo’s “I’m your least favorite” comment to Splinter in “Down with the Sickness” a lot. It’s likely just a throwaway comment, a way to get Splinter to leave him alone before Leo gets sick too, but I can’t help but wonder if Leo believes it on some level.
Obviously it’s not true, Splinter loves him as much as he loves the others, but…it wouldn’t be shocking if Leo believed otherwise. After all, just in “Many Unhappy Returns” alone, Splinter has, with no hesitation, said comments like “my other sons would have taken this seriously” and “I knew I should’ve brought purple”, said “no” to Leo’s “I love you”, and pretty blatantly didn’t extend any trust in Leo’s plan even after Leo was fairly effortlessly defeating their opponents.
It was only after, when they’d already won, that Splinter finally gives him a “it was all you my son!” And…that’s basically it. Raph is the one who announces his trust in Leo. Not their father, even though Splinter is the one to witness Leo lowering his walls for once (which Splinter doesn’t react well too, because Leo only lowers his walls in the most hectic of times, and because he lowers them only then, either no one is around or no one is in the right state of mind to respond properly, leading to Leo building his walls back up, and the cycle continues.)
Again, it’s not because Splinter doesn’t love Leo, but Leo…can’t be feeling too good about all that. The way he never reacted surprised about any of Splinter’s words too…
He may know that Splinter loves them all, as a group, but individually…I don’t think Leo believes he ranks all that high with that love. Gives another meaning to “I’m nothing without my brothers” huh?
(Of course, I’m willing to bet the invasion changed that understanding, but with that comes the potential misunderstanding that his father’s outright love is tied to Leo sacrificing himself.)

Hi!! Does Robbie like scary movies!? How would he act while watching one or even better, if he was in a horror movie? I was watching a scary movie with him on Character AI and was wondering! (Also I absolutely love your art, very yummy) :D
He’d be the type to be like “yeah babe let’s go watch a scary movie together so you can be scared and I can cuddle u all protective-like nYEHEHEHEH *sparkling rizz eyes*” and then IMMEDIATELY be terrified in the first 10 minutes smhh
cw big ol cleaver/knife
This is mostly an excuse to draw my boi in another one of my boi’s clothes- aka Robert c o u g h-
also him as a killer? Absolute total c h a o s- he can be quite cute and quirky at first but slowly get chaotic and go crazy go stupid smhhh. Similar to his mob version where he can get absolutely violent and chaotic, except he’s just almost nothing but that in this-
also if he was anything but the killer he’d be the first person to be killed LMAOOO

Probably about to piss someone off but. . .
I pointed this out to a friend recently while trying to get them hooked on One Piece, then I thought given what's happening in several other fandoms right now, it's worth sharing it with everyone I can.
One Piece has been running since the 90's and has fans that have been there since the beginning. Since the live action last year, there has been a surge of new fans, myself included, who knew next to nothing coming in.
Some of us have chosen to go back to the beginning and read or watch everything while others are only watching the new series.
There are also numerous "conflicting" ships that some are diehards for. There are fem and trans variants of many of those characters and ships (mostly many fan created) as well.
The one thing I've seen almost nothing of is wars between fans about any of this. Older fans have been willing to answer questions and help new fans find info about backstories and lore without judging them for not going back and finding it themselves. I've never seen (for example) Zosan fans telling Zolu fans they can't ship them for any reason. Canon, crack ships, rare pairs, none of it matters. We're just having fun.
One Piece is one of (if not the most) well loved anime and manga series in existence and I've seen less drama from them than in fandoms of some one season series.
So to all the One Piece fans, thank you for being kind and welcoming!
And to everyone else that bothered to read all this, what are we doing?

Soft Morning Light
And the flat version. I’m really happy with this, I just draw it today after work! Something soft to distract from session 7 :,)
Edit: I was trying to embed this in the actual caption but I can’t do it from what I’m on now and tumblr won’t let me edit my post from mobile for some reason so, here:

"A servant from the heavens above... Are you an angel?"
Even now I still don't know if I am articulating this right, but as I mentioned in a previous upload, I like to think about Volnutt being more than "just a Carbon". So here are some doodles of Trigger, the design is referenced from fellow user Sato and his work here.
Whether or not someone personally chooses to separate these two names/lives, I think the fact they're connected seems so cool.
This still doesn't make any sense does it? (; v; )
