An alternative version of Initiation I made if this song was actually released as a single or 7” The label should be “ Fair Warning/Real Man”

The initiation album has such Astrocore, dream astronomy, and futuristic intergalactic vibes, Todd literally enjoyed electrical stuff, How good it could be, listening to the outro of Fair Warning then fading with Real Man intro while doing space activity at night, peaceful

You know this thing that Taylor does where she sings a surprise song at every show? but in this case it's her own song, what if yn did the same thing but with songs by other artists
Just A Girl
A/N: this is honestly just a 1d!YN appreciation post
SINCE 2010 masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s officially her thing to sing a new cover song for each of her shows!
Sometimes it's a One Direction song, an unreleased song, or just a song from an artist she liked.
Every one of her old band mates’ has an unofficial claim to a cover they do/did on their solo tours: Harry’s is The Chain, Louis’s is 505...
But if there was one cover that’s her cover, it’s “Just A Girl” by No Doubt.
To introduce the song, she’d make a little joke about reminding the audience that even though she’s dancing and prancing around the stage, that doesn’t give them an excuse to look at her chest as she does so. She’d even pinch the top of her corset top—an outfit to pay homage to the cover art of her third album—and tug it up with a cheeky shake of her chest...all before openly pushing up her breasts from underneath.
She’d wink at a fan in the crowd before letting out an innocent, “What?” at the fans’ excited response. She’d put a satin gloved hand over her chest, pushing a shoulder to touch her ear and shyly say, “m’just a girl after all.”
As soon as the words leave her mouth, a smirk spreads across her lips when the sold-out stadium of fans go into a frantic frenzy when they hear the iconic beginning guitar of the song. She makes a slow spin on her heel to walk to her band behind her, looking off to the side where her husband stands with a proud smile in the wings.
This song perfectly encapsulates YN’s upbringing in the music industry: her frustration of being treated lower than her co-workers, band mates—any male just because she’s of the opposite sex.
In a way, it's her Kiwi: a song she can complete and utterly go crazy with. It’s Harry’s turn to sit back and admire the way his spouse can draw in an audience with her stage presence and charisma.
'Cause I'm just a girl, oh, little old me
Well, don't let me out of your sight
Oh, I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite
So don't let me have any rights
For a long time, she’d listen to this song and view it as a cry for help, a way to express herself in the best way she knows how—through music.
This is one of the few songs that YN likes to bring back a couple of times as her surprise cover song—it even showed up once or twice at her last world tour. With that being said, a couple thousand fans were lucky enough to say that they were a part of the few shows where she performed it.
And on the opposite end, it’s her favorite cover to sing. Especially since she likes to get a bit theatrical with it.
They love to see after she finishes the line, “Oh, I've had it up to here...” YN cheekily bends over, a flattened hand comes up to her forehead to mimic the way someone would physically show their annoyance level. She bites down on her lower lip, bobbing her head to the beat of the music as she walks backwards across the stage.
Or when she dramatically bats her lashes or cheekily drops her jaw in faux offense. Or as she jumps about the stage, hyping up the sea of fans with her stage presence.
She’d be at the end of the massive heart-shaped catwalk, clasping her hands together in front of her after bouncing around the stage, slyly singing, “I'm just a girl.” She twists the tip of her heel into the stage as she pouts. “I'm just a girl in the world. That's all that you'll let me be!”
And the crowd lives for when she feverishly pumps her arms in front of her, dropping down to her knees as she sings, “What I’ve succumbed to is making me numb!” Her mane of curly hair bounces back and forth, following her movements.
The audience is split between standing as still as they can to record the iconic performance while others join YN by jumping up and down, dancing crazily, and being completely enveloped in the moment.
YN mentioned in an interview once how much she feeds off the energy her fans bring to the shows. Similarly to her husband’s tour, the audiences have created a safe space for her to be herself on stage. There’s no sense of judgment and everyone can enjoy themselves freely—whether that be dancing like nobody's watching, standing there with their eyes closed to feel the music, or following the dress decorum of wearing corsets and long opera gloves, everyone is welcomed with open arms.
By the end of it all, she’s a bit out of breath and her hairline glistens with sweat. She stands at the end of her catwalk and looks out to the sea of fans, raised hands and lights.
In a moment of overwhelming gratitude, she tugs off her in-ears and takes a moment to fully hear thousands chant her name in unison. She huffs out a knee-buckling smile and it only makes the fans scream louder.
YN had mentioned to Harry a few times already about how the feeling of appreciation and love for her fans can get a bit overwhelming. Sometimes it hits her like a bus—strong, impactful, and head-on. If she could, she would hug each and everyone of her fans. She would take the time to tell every person individually how much they mean to her.
Even in the midst of the deafening sound, she lets out a chuckle when she can hear the loud whistle piercing its way from the wings.
Never in a million years would she ever think that she’d be here, standing on stage, performing at sold out stadiums almost every night, doing what she loves.
With that, she blinks away the on-coming watery eyes and puts her in-ears back in.
“Alright, London. Let’s continue this dance party,” she’d say before the familiar beats on Nonsense sounds through the stadium.
Yeah, she’s definitely meant to be here.

Jimin was never one to do things conventionally.
He didn’t ask you out or to be his girlfriend normally.
~~
“WE DID IT! WE FUCKING DID IT!” Jungkook screamed and Jimin turned to you, jumping up and down, screaming incoherently, the biggest grin on his face. He ran around the room screaming with people, some that she knew, some she didn’t and his members joined him.
He ran over to you and picked you up spinning her around, screaming, causing her to wince and shush him.
“Sorry, love.” He laughed and put you down, still bouncing slightly on the balls of his feet. The boys jumping around them, screaming and music blaring in the distance and he grinned before leaning down and pressing a kiss to your lips. Then he was gone, being pulled away by the boys and going back to jumping around and screaming at the top of his lungs.
~~
“You kissed me, you know?” Jimin snapped his head over, alarmed before laughing nervously and shaking his head.
“Of course I did.” He muttered and looked away. “It felt like the right thing to do in the moment, I’m sorry.”
“I’m not complaining.” You reassured him with a soft smile. “Just curious as to why.”
“It felt like the right thing to do and uh, I guess I wanted to for a while and-“ He cut himself off. “Fuck it, I like you and I want to be, uh, officially unofficially friends and officially more than that. Wait, that made no sense, uh-“
“Yes.” You cut him off before he breaks his brain and he stared at you for a minute, as if he didn’t quite understand what you just said, as if he couldn’t fathom it and then his entire face lit up like a Christmas tree as he grinned and pulled you into a bone-crushing, breath-taking hug and then pulled away to kiss your lips softly.
~~
He didn’t ask you to move in normally.
You woke up to a weight on her stomach and frowned slightly because, it’s definitely not Jimin. Opening your eyes, you looked down and saw Bam, Jungkook's dog, and smiled, fussing the baby, who rolled over for tummy rubs.
“Hey baby, are we watching you today?” You sat up and saw something attached to his collar. “What you got, buddy?”
You removed the paper carefully, and he forced his way into your lap. Wrapping your arms around the dog, you opened up the paper to see a key taped to the inside and familiar messy handwriting scrawled across the page.
The key is yours, if you want it.
I would love it if you chose to invade my space indefinitely.
“YES!” You yelled and Jimin came running into the room a few minutes later.
“Yes?” He asked, excited, but apprehensive, as though he thought he’d misheard you.
“Yes.” You ginned and he stood there for minute before jumping around like an idiot.
~~
He didn’t ask you to marry him normally.
You walked into the living room to see a bunch of roses on the table and an open box next to it. Walking over, you saw that the flowers were lying on something. Looking around the room to see if Jimin was there, frowning at the lack of his presence, stopping in confusion when you saw the album cover under the roses and a ring in the box.
“What?” You whispered, and looked closer at the album cover.
The cover was black with white print, with bright purple highlighter was covering one of the songs. You squinted, struggling without her glasses, and looked closer.
‘I LOVE YOU, WILL YOU MARRY ME?’
“If you want my answer, you’re gonna have to come face-to-face with me!” You called out and laughed a little when she heard him curse.
“Can’t you just yell it from where you are?” He called back, still hiding.
“Nope.” You laughed when he groaned and then he stepped out from around the corner of the hallway.
“This is as close as I’m coming.” He muttered.
“But how can I kiss you if you’re all the way over there?” You asked and his head snapped up to look at you.
“What?” He was whispering, but his voice still broke.
“Yes, I’ll marry you, you big, beautiful, idiot.” He all but sprinted across the room and swooped you into his arms, swinging you around and whooping at the top of his lungs.

headcanons of Remus as a rockstar in a band with the marauders — remus x gn!reader
warnings: one mention of drugs
words: 0.4k
Tumblr media
- The band is called The Marauders of course
- Either plays bass or drums (I’m always conflicted between James and Remus playing bass/guitar or drums)
- Goes with a very classic rock aesthetic, while Sirius goes for more glam rock and James just wants to be a shirtless rockstar
- You don't always go on the tours with him, but he sends you postcards from every city he goes without you
- And when you aren't on tour with him, he'll insist on spending the whole day before and after the trip with you doing whatever you want
- Writes so many love songs about you (like SO MANY that Sirius rolls his eyes and jokes that he's trying to change the genre into everything lovesick)
- Doesn't do hard drugs like other celebrities, just smokes weed and drinks bc he can still think about you while on those
- Cuddles with you in the tiny bed of the tour bus
- Always talks about you in interviews and while performing (if you're comfortable with that of course) because he wants the whole world to know how he feels for you
- Even though he makes a lot of money, he doesn't live very lavishly
- Most of the money he does spend is to spoil you or buy a nice place for the two of you
- Sometimes steals little things of yours like clothes or a bottle of your perfume when he goes on tour without you so he can be reminded of you
- And you barely notice things are missing or you think you're losing your mind until he mentions it on a phone call or you see him holding it on newspapers and tabloids (or social media if it's a modern AU)
- But you can't really be mad because you do the same thing with his stuff lol
- Fans are actually super nice to you when you go public about the relationship
- Like a few are jealous or whatever but the majority of them look up to you like you're a member of the band
- And Remus will always defend you from those few mean fans so you never have anything to worry about
- He uses pictures of you or things you draw as inspiration and even tries to convince the guys to put it on album covers and stuff
- The boys don't often argue because they love you too
- They also know Remus will whine and beg until he gets you as the unofficial face of the band

How Post-Punk Influenced Nowadays Fashion
It's been a long time since Malcolm McLaren opened his boutique "Sex" in the 1970s, and Vivienne Westwood equipped the Sex Pistols with their iconic outfits and sent them out onto King's Road. The approach back then was: "Being anti at all costs, against the establishment." Eventually, it turned into "Do It Yourself." It was fashionable because it tried not to be fashionable.
Tumblr media
A few years later, members of Joy Division met at a Sex Pistols show in 1976 and started as a punk band. However, it soon evolved into something entirely different. When you listen to old Joy Division songs like "Warsaw" you can clearly hear the punk rock influences, but the band quickly started to deviate from the common motifs of the genre.
Tumblr media
The music slowed down. The noisy guitar sound of punk was subdued to appear more intriguing, and Ian Curtis's existentialist lyrics, influenced by authors like Fyodor Dostoevsky, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Franz Kafka, focused not on chaos, rebellion, and hedonism but reflected his fears, physical sufferings, and the absurdity in the face of the zeitgeist and social influences of the 1970s and 1980s, marked by changes and political uncertainty, forced Joy Division to experiment.
They created not only something musically unique but also something aesthetic. For example, with their monochromatic designs on their album covers for "Unknown Pleasures," which is probably the third best-selling T-shirt in fast fashion stores, alongside Nirvana and the Ramones T-shirts. Joy Division ended in 1980 after Ian Curtis hung himself in his kitchen. They not only helped shape the sub-genre "Post-Punk" but were also the unofficial soundtrack of existentialism. The soundtrack that made Joy Division's music feel so genuine. Because it was genuine.
Of course, in the 1960s, there were artists who processed existential themes in their lyrics. A good example would be Lou Reed of The Velvet Underground, who, heavily influenced by literature, dealt with many serious topics in his lyrics. However, it wasn't just their music; it was also their appearance that defined Joy Division. On stage, in promo pictures, and in interviews.
Tumblr media
Ill-fitting shirts from army surplus stores, old man's pants, a few pair of derbies, big raincoats. Everything that was atypical for the punk movement, and many other artists, including The Cure, The Smiths, Siouxsie Sioux and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Alien Sex Friend or Sisters Of Mercy, went in the same direction: Through a dark, introspective, sometimes minimalist, but avant-garde aesthetic, they set themselves apart from punk and society, and looking at bands from the Post-Punk Revival from the 2000s like Interpol, Iceage, Molchat Doma, Boy Harsher, or Cold Cave, it quickly becomes apparent that this aesthetic has proven itself for almost 50 years.
Tumblr media
This trend was, of course, not only an inspiration for musicians but also for artists, fashion designers, architects, and many more.
One designer that immediately comes to mind is Antwerp-Six member Ann Demeulemeester from Belgium, whose influences clearly evoke artists like Siouxsie Sioux or Patti Smith but also the playful goth look of the 1980s era by Rei Kawakubo (Comme Des Garcons) or Japan's goth father himself: Yohji Yamamoto.
Her story begins in Antwerp, where she initially studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and quickly got to know the other Antwerp-Six members. She and the Antwerp Six presented their collections at Fashion Week and quickly became highly esteemed designers, now considered among the greatest designers of all time. Many of Ann's collections featured songs by Patti Smith, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, or The Velvet Underground.
This alone shows the influence of Post-Punk on Ann Demeulemeester's designs. Her asymmetrical cuts and draperies, her monochromatic, Kawakubo and Yamamoto-inspired, mainly black designs were groundbreaking, bringing avant-garde ideas in a consumable form to the people.
Tumblr media
Another noteworthy designer from Antwerp is Raf Simons and his collections. Raf Simons grew up in the 1980s and was deeply rooted in the punk and goth subculture, whose influence can be traced in many of his collections or directly referenced by Raf himself. Notable are his A/W96 collection, which includes all-black looks with jet-black dyed hair and long black overcoats, his A/W99 collection with direct Joy Division references, black cloaks, and Gothic looks on the runway.
Raf's most famous collection A/W02-03 Riot Riot Riot! A coveted collection featuring cutoff and distressed hoodies, repurposed military garments, and loaded with punk references through patches. Among them, a bomber jacket with a patch depicting the self-harming Richey James Edwards of the Manic Street Preachers.
Obviously, his A/W03-04 Closer collection with a direct collaboration with Peter Saville, the graphic designer of Factory Records, featuring iconic graphics from Joy Division, New Order, and more.
Tumblr media
These two examples of designers actively influenced by this culture are just a fraction. These designers were punks or goths themselves. People influenced by the postmodern identity of the time and post-Soviet tradition. Post-Punk fashion embodies the music of the time it emerged and aligns with deeper considerations. So, it didn't take long for the entire fashion world to embrace this style, partly because "Gothic" and "Punk" became more mainstream, and partly because its aesthetic components were easy to design due to their often penetrating monochromatic minimalism.
Not only goths or avant-garde designers like Ann Demeulemeester, Martin Margiela or Rick Owens, deeply connected to the style and subculture of that time, but also luxury designers like Prada, Balenciaga or Bottega Veneta are incorporating it.
Tumblr media
The look is romantic, dark, longing for death, partly edgy, partly overloaded. All aspects that exude a constant attraction from the clothing, as people are often drawn to "the other," sometimes even "the forbidden." The look can also be easily detached from the actual Post-Punk/Goth culture - something postmodernity excels at. The style of the Gothic culture can be perfectly broken down into its individual parts and used as a kind of aesthetic sandbox. Here a thick heavy chain, there's a choker, here big long earrings, add a pair of black high combat boots, a slim-fitted mesh shirt, and preferably paint the nails, and you're done. All things that houses like Prada, Marni, Bottega Veneta, for example, have done right.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What we see today in the Post-Punk-influenced style and what we interpret as avant-garde should actually be considered a modern tradition. Post-Punk fashion embodies the music and the spirit of the time it emerged and aligns with deeper existential discourses. The design language and atmosphere of that time are now used by traditional fashion houses to incorporate young designers into their ranks and increase their relevance, merely fulfilling their quota to be considered part of the traditional fashion pipeline of LV, Dior, Gucci, and Balenciaga. The avant-garde cannot be seen as so established. The rapid growth these companies have undergone to make billions and the inheritance method of finding a designer to take over the house are enough to profile themselves as industry magnates.
Tumblr media
In a world where fashion constantly reinvents itself, the enduring legacy of post-punk culture persists as a modern tradition. From the raw, rebellious sounds of bands like Joy Division to the avant-garde designs of Ann Demeulemeester and Raf Simons, the essence of post-punk continues to captivate hearts and minds. As luxury fashion houses seamlessly incorporate this style, it's vital to recognize the roots and the countercultural spirit that birthed it.
The romantic, dark allure, the edgy overtones – they all beckon, inviting us to explore "the other," even the forbidden. Yet, amidst the mainstream adoption, a call echoes for authenticity. True avant-gardists, whether musicians or designers, carve their paths, declaring, "This is our thing." The new avant-garde emerges not just from runways but from the pulsating hearts of those deeply rooted in their subcultures.
In a world dominated by industry magnates, the journey of post-punk fashion from the underground to luxury houses is a testament to its enduring power. As we witness the evolution, let us celebrate the genuine, the authentic, and the countercultural voices shaping the new avant-garde.
So, whether draped in asymmetrical cuts or sporting a rebellious attitude, the message is clear: The post-punk spirit lives on, and the next wave of avant-garde creators is ready to make their mark, confidently declaring, "This is our thing."

So Jaejoong just released his title song “I AM U”
Reminds me of when he named his repackaged album “Y” ONLY LOVE 😂❤️
Well I might believe this was just for his fans if not for the “U” title lol. His full album “Flower Garden” releases on June 26th to commemorate the 20th anniversary.
Anyway take a look at the lyrics. It seems like he was reminiscing a lot about the past and his journey. All the CAPS are songs of his or TVXQ or covers he’s sung (I’m sure every yunjae shipper knows “For You”)
But yes, Jaejoong wrote the lyrics himself.
Would love to know your thoughts. Even the Butterfly lyrics were very Yunho, and Sunny day too but that one was sad ;; so many of these songs bring up memories for me. Of course it can be for fans too, it can be both.

Beatles Radio Shows
My recent ~endeavors~ have led me to dig up a bunch of old radio shows by and about the Beatles, and I wanted to share them in one place.
These are unofficial uploads. If you've ever searched out old Beatles-related content - particularly audio or video content - you have likely experienced the crushing devestation of locating a download link to some obscure interview George Harrison gave in 1977, only to click it and find the link dead! If you're interested in listening to any of the shows listed here, or think you may be interested one day, I recommend downloading them now rather than suffering the bitter sting of a dead link in days to come.
By the Beatles
Paul McCartney's Routes of Rock (Host: Paul McCartney; Approx. Runtime: 2.5hrs)
A five-part series that aired on BBC radio in October and November 1999. It was part of the promo for Paul's mostly-covers album, Run Devil Run. In this series, Paul plays old rock 'n' roll tracks along with his recent covers, interspersed with discussion of his formative musical influences and some cute early-Beatles anecdotes.
Ringo's Yellow Submarine (Host: Ringo Starr; Approx. Runtime: 26hrs)
A twenty-six-part series that ran on the ABC Radio Network from June 4 to November 26, 1983. Unfortunately, I only have links to the first three episodes atm. Episode 1 // Episode 2 // Episode 3
About the Beatles
The Lost Lennon Tapes (Host: Elliot Mintz; Approx. Runtime: 221hrs)
Perhaps the most famous Beatles radio show of them all? The Lost Lennon Tapes ran from Januar 24, 1988 to March 29, 1992. The huge draw here is the inclusion of audio from the Lennon/Ono archives. I believe this is the only publicly available source for audio from many John Lennon interviews. Unfortunately, you only get to hear a few minutes of any interview at a time!
The show also features interviews with people from John's life (e.g. Julia Baird and Sean) as well as Beatles experts (including a young Mark Lewisohn!) There's huge depth here, and it's very much worth the listen.
The above link includes episode names, but this site has a more detailed list of what's included in each episode.
The Beatles - The Days In Their Life (Host: Ira Lipson; Approx. Runtime: 30hrs)
A 21-part series that aired in 1981 and followed the Beatles career from their genesis to the modern day. Includes archival interviews as well as (I think) new interview material with many people in the Beatles' stories.
The Beatles Story (Host: Brian Matthew; Approx. Runtime: 14hrs)
A BBC Radio 1 series that came out ~1972, with an extra episode that came out ~1974. Many original interivews were conducted for this series, but I believe we only see a subset of the existing material on this show. From the quotes in Tune In, it appears there are full tapes out there, perhaps in the BBC Archives - if anyone has any idea where the full interviews (conducted by Johnny Beerling) may be accessible, I'd love to know!
Collections of Misc. Radio Interviews
Series aside, here are a few accounts that have uploaded a number of one-off interviews with the Beatles:
The Beatles Interviews on YouTube. Lots of great, lengthy interviews, along with a few shorter clips. Disclaimer: the video titles don't always correctly identify the year/interviewer. Fortunately, Beatles fans live to correct things, so there is always lively discussion in the comments to sort out who the interviewer actually is, and when the interview was conducted.
Beatle Stories on YouTube. While the above channel's video titles are at times incorrect, this channel's titles are mostly straight-up unhelpful lol. Still, there's some good content here.
The Beatle Tapes 2 on the Internet Archive. This is the same user who uploaded The Beatles Story (see above). They have over five hundred uploads including many radio interviews, some video interviews, and several live performances as well. A treasure trove!

chapter 1/?
verse: 2k3 rating: t word count: 9.7k words
read on ao3!
x
He’s able to swipe away the last cold slice of pizza that’s sat waiting for him on the kitchen side before Leo is calling him again, this time with a little more urgency around his words, he’s skidding into the TV room, a little breathless when he stops short in front of his three awaiting brothers, his eldest looks particularly ticked off.
“Mikey, I called you three times,” he tells him, arms crossed tight across his plastron. Donnie and Raph stand either side of him, narrowing their pointed glares towards him like all three of them were posing for the world’s worst boy band album cover.
Mikey desperately chews around his mouthful of pizza, forcing it down his throat with a heavy bob of his head.
“Just wanted to fill up the tank before we head off,” he manages to get out between a spin cycle of lunch in his gob. He tops it off with a playful pat of his stomach. “Can’t be running on empty down there.”
Raph groans at the same time Donnie does, something harmonious created between them and it’s times like these that really cement the idea that these middle children are nothing but two halves of a twin pairing.
“It’s a survival mission, Mikey,” Leo is sternly reminding him. “The whole point is so that we learn to adapt to our surroundings out there.”
He turns away, stalking over to the little bench that houses an array of bags and items. “Don and I already have your bag packed, so any extras stashed away in your belt better be turfed out now.”
Mikey makes a pitiful whine; he has a handful of jolly ranchers (the nice ones that Raph always seems to sneak away before he has the chance) indeed tucked away nice and safely inside the confines of his belt. This whole survival mission was a hairbrained idea dreamt up by Leo some few weeks ago, and back then when he’d proposed that they spend a few days rummaging around the deepest, darkest depths of the sewer system, Mikey thought that maybe it was just one of those hypothetical mumbo jumbo pseudo threats his big brother liked to spin every now and then, just to scare them into shape.
But he’d actually started planning, with a notebook and everything and at first Raph had also protested, claiming that he didn’t need this extra, useless wilderness training given the fact that all four of them knew the tunnel system pretty well, having spent their entire lives so far living in it.
But Leo had gotten pretty explosive over it - something he was more and more prone to these days.
Don had called if ‘the trimmings’ from his PTSD. At least, that’s what he’d told Mikey in confidence, his face quickly paleing when Mikey had simply then suggested that Donnie perhaps should confront Leo on this unofficial diagnosis.
Because in Leo’s humble opinion, there was nothing wrong with him. It was just his brothers that needed a little more bending into shape.
Which, as a result, was what this was, right here, right now.

Demolition Lovers
Written By: Matt Pelissier, Mikey Way, Ray Toro & Gerard Way
Artist: My Chemical Romance
Released: 2002
The Demolition Lovers are the couple seen on the cover for MCR’s next album, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. This song, along with much of the album, is a prequel to the story of Three Cheers… in which a man makes a deal with the devil to get his dead lover back by killing 1,000 evil men and giving the devil their souls in exchange for her. This song is most likely where the lover dies. The two “Demolition Lovers” are featured on the cover of the album.
[Verse 1] Hand in mine, into your icy blues And then I'd say to you, "We could take to the highway With this trunk of ammunition, too" I'd end my days with you, in a hail of bullets [Chorus] I'm trying, I'm trying To let you know just how much you mean to me And after all the things We put each other through and [Verse 2] I would drive on to the end with you A liquor store or two keeps the gas tank full And I feel like there's nothing left to do But prove myself to you, and we'll keep it running [Chorus] But this time, I mean it I'll let you know just how much you mean to me As snow falls on desert sky Until the end of everything I'm trying, I'm trying To let you know how much you mean As days fade and nights grow And we grow cold [Post-Chorus] Until the end, until this pool of blood Until this, I mean this, I mean this, until the end of [Chorus] I'm trying, I'm trying To let you know how much you mean As days fade and nights grow And we grow cold But this time, we'll show them We'll show them all how much we mean As snow falls on desert sky Until the end of every… [Interlude] All we are, all we are is bullets, I mean this All we are, all we are is bullets, I mean this All we are, all we are is bullets, I mean this All we are, all we are is bullets, I mean this [Guitar Solo] [Bridge] As lead rains will pass on through Our phantoms forever, forever Like scarecrows that fuel this flame We're burning forever and ever Know how much I want to show you You're the only one Like a bed of roses There's a dozen reasons in this gun [Outro] And as we're falling down, and in this pool of blood And as we're touching hands, and as we're falling down And in this pool of blood, and as we're falling down I'll see your eyes, and in this pool of blood I'll meet your eyes, I mean this forever!

Bmblb
Written By: Jeff Williams
Artist: Jeff Williams feat. Casey Lee Williams
Released: 2017
“Bmblb” is a song from the RWBY Volume 4 Soundtrack that has never been seen anywhere in the actual series (yet). It is short for “Bumblebee,” which in-universe is the name of Yang Xiao Long’s bike as well as her and Blake Belladonna’s team attack in Volume 2, but is used out-of-universe as the unofficial fan couple name for both of them. Therefore, while some interpret this as a love song between Yang and her bike, many others, upon closer inspection of the lyrics, see this as a love song between Yang and Blake, with either one expressing their love for the other.
[Intro] There's a garden where I go If you meet me there, no one will know In the springtime, in the sun We can be alone without anyone [Verse 1] All the butterflies and the birds Keep our secret, no, they won't say a word But they watch us, and they know And they're happy as they see our love grow [Pre-Chorus] We'll sit for a while as I drink in your smile It feels like a dream that's come true My head starts to buzz And my heart fills with love over you [Chorus] Baby, can't you see? You could be with me We could live inside a garden of ecstasy You could be my queen I could be your dream Our lives like a fantasy Maybe set me free Let me be your bumblebee [Verse 2] Now the flowers are in bloom And you've chased away my darkness and gloom When the wind blows through the trees And your voice is like a song in the breeze [Pre-Chorus] My doubts disappear every time that you're near Clouds seem to run from the sky The thought of your kiss Sends my soul into bliss, I get high [Chorus] Baby, can't you see? You could be with me We could live inside a garden of ecstasy You could be my queen I could be your dream Our lives like a fantasy Maybe set me free Let me be your— [Bridge] Like a serenade, every word you say Has me fallin' more and more in love with you Like a Purdie beat, you are oh-so sweet Everyday is sunny, tastes like honey Feel so alive, take me back to the hive [Guitar Solo] [Chorus] Baby, can't you see? You could be with me We could live inside a garden of ecstasy You could be my queen I could be your dream Life's like a fantasy Maybe set me free Let me be your bumblebee

Beginning with their first episode airing on April 12, 2019, JTBC's SUPERBAND would take sixty male contestants from the indie scene to create their own band in the live finale. The series is composed of fourteen total episodes and concluded on July 12, 2019, with an average of 3% viewership in South Korea. In the end, the top five placements were HOPPIPOLLA, DEATH VALLEY, LUCY, PURPLE RAIN, and MONÉ. The competition was further split into introduction performances, one-on-one battles, two semi-finals, and the live finale with judging by Yoon Jongshin, Yoon Sang, Nell's Kim Jongwan, Linkin Park's Joe Hahn, and AKMU's Lee Suhyun. Superband was met with mixed responses with positives for allowing indie artists to show off their talent for the world and negative ones based on fans not being able to vote until round four, poor judging, and lack of female artists.
THE SOUND OF DEATH VALLEY.
THE MEMBERS OF DEATH VALLEY.
Tumblr media
SAWYER LEE ( 1999 ), born as Lee Siyul, is a musician and producer hailing from Chicago, Illinois, United States and currently signed under Superbloom Media. In 2019, he made his first public appearance on Superband and would place second as DEATH VALLEY's leader, pianist, and vocalist.
KO SEUNGMIN ( 1999 ) is a musician and teacher from Seoul, South Korea. After the unofficial "disbandment" of DEATH VALLEY—where he was the drummer—he would become a secondary music teacher to fall back on. As of 2022, he signed with JYP's Studio J and debuted as the drummer of DOGFIGHT.
YOON TAEYUN ( 2000 ) is a musician and member of SAFETY ZONE, which still remains independent to this day. He competed on Superband with his members, however, they were all eliminated before the semi-finals. Taeyun would join DEATH VALLEY as their bassist and one of their lead producers.
OLIVER SONG ( 2001 ) is a member of the idol band PLASTIC FLOWERS, serving as their guitarist and lead vocalist, and calls Boston, Massachusetts his hometown. He is currently signed under Superbloom Media and has risen alongside his original members to become one of the best selling bands in the industry.
THE OLIVER SONG EXPERIENCE ... INTRODUCTION — ROUND THREE.
Coming into Superband, no one knew who OLIVER SONG was. Plastic Flowers was still struggling to sell 1,000 copies of their new albums and the band had just wrapped on promotions for Hypocreep just the month before. On April 12, Oliver would be introduced to the public as one of the vocalists on Superband with his cover of Fleetwood Mac's BIG LOVE, from their fourteenth studio album TANGO IN THE NIGHT. Though he impressed judges with his fingerpicking and vocals, they would complain the cover did not go "far enough" as his own rendition of such an iconic song. With just his voice and a guitar, the judges were also surprised by his attention to the cameras and basic stage presence. It was noted early into his critiques that not only had he debuted as a member of PLASTIC FLOWERS, but he was the YOUNGEST CONTESTANT as well.
This would also begin the small feud he had with Linkin Park's JOE HAHN as he wanted to push Oliver to his true potential throughout the competition. LEE SUHYUN enjoyed his performance the most and they actually remain close friends outside of Superband. According to the judges, his nerves got in the way of what would have been a great performance and Oliver needed to work on that for future rounds. Despite this, Oliver was chosen as a FRONTMAN for the first round of performances.
Teaming with pianist SAWYER LEE, bassist SHIN DURI, and drummer JEONG ILSEONG, he was demoted to just vocalist and found it difficult to perform without something in his hands. They went with a cover of Nirvana this time, choosing HEART-SHAPED BOX to showcase their individual talents. However, the song was met with less than stellar reviews because the group lacked synergy and lost to their rivals, who performed a cover of TVXQ's hit MIROTIC. All the members were considered for elimination and sadly, Duri and Ilseong were let go by the judges. They have since gone on to create other bands and are relatively successful despite their short run. However, this loss messed with Oliver's confidence moving forward and this would give him the UNDERDOG edit for the rest of the season. It was obvious that the judges and production liked Oliver, but without him proving his worth, they struggled to keep his momentum in the first few episodes.
Poppies were sad to see Oliver have very little confidence throughout the beginning of Superband and many have stated they cannot watch before episode 7. For the second round, Oliver was chosen as a surprise by drummer PARK YEONGJIN to join himself, YANG JIWAN, KIM HAJIN, and ISAAC HONG in a cover of Lorde's ROYALS. According to Yeongjin, this would be the only time that they could work together and he wanted to test the dynamic. Going against the now iconic An Seongjin team with their original composition of F=MA, Gwyn was nervous but his team had something up their sleeves. From their initial composition with Yeongjin's now iconic, "the two that sing" before calling both Isaac and Gwyn as their vocalists, this team was different.
There was the initial worry that finding a middle ground was going to be impossible for the five musicians as seen in the confessionals. Oliver was still surprised even when being interviewed and apologies were given by Park Yeongjin as a joke to the vocalists. Though not much was seen from the initial practices, the five members quickly came together to formulate the perfect arrogant with Oliver being told to sing "arrogantly" by his teammates. From the first moments of their performance, everyone was shocked to see this new, darker side of Isaac and Oliver as they shared the stage in a duet. For this performance, Oliver showed off his abilities on the keyboard and other instruments to provide the perfect sound when he was not singing. The most iconic part was the bridge as Isaac and Oliver provided harmonization and belted to the gods as their instrumental counterparts highlighted their own talents, with the last minute going viral with fans.
According to the judges, this performance was the ultimate reversal. Gwyn was even given the opportunity to shout out his bandmates when stating that he had done rock and roll with their previous releases and was surprisingly more confident than in the previous stages. He was successful in making the judges his fans from this performance as they enjoyed seeing a more confident side of the idol. Nell's Kim Jongwan and Mystic Entertainment's Yoon Jongshin became his biggest supporter from this moment. With two iconic performances, this could have gone either way and thankfully, the judges voted 2:3 in favor of Royals, securing their first win.
Coming off their win with Royals, Park Yeongjin decided to KEEP his lineup for a second performance of THE TIME OF MY LIFE from Dirty Dancing. Unlike the previous round, it was less shocking when they decided to stick together. However, they struggled when choosing a song as the expectations were already high for the group. Utilizing the same positions as before, Oliver remained the second vocalist, keyboardist, and synthesizer. He also had to give some 'dance' lessons to Isaac Hong for the performance, bringing them much closer as the 'brothers' of Superband. Another successful performance, they won against Shin Hyeongbin's team 4:1.
THE FORMATION OF DEATH VALLEY ... ROUND FOUR — SEMI FINALS.
After the third round, the bands could reshuffle for the last time before creating their respective bands. Having proved himself competent enough to stand against Isaac Hong, Oliver was a popular choice for those desperate to make it to the last few episodes. However, he had already made promises to SAWYER and they just needed to find two more partners—a bassist and a drummer. The pair had made a pack after Oliver's second win in that last episode and wanted to show the judges that they could work well together. They went for the overlooked options as neither TAEYUN nor SEUNGMIN had been a part of a winning team but seemed interested in making the same type of music as them. Within the first twenty minutes, they were the second group to finish choosing members. Many were surprised by the lineup considering how popular both Sawyer and Oliver were, but they had a plan forming in the background.
In the fourth round, Sawyer's team would release one last cover of OSASIS'S CHAMPAGNE SUPERNOVA, which was met with stellar reviews from the judges. Oliver was much more relaxed and confident on stage, especially now that he had his guitar back in hand. Seeing how Isaac's freedom on stage was taken positively, Oliver let go as he swung the microphone around and did some stupid dances. Rather than focusing on keeping what made Champagne Supernova iconic in the first place, Sawyer and his team would put a few of their own touches on the song and just have fun being on stage. his welcomed change awarded the band with 453 points, tying them with LEE JUHYEOK and the future members of LUCY for second place. The judging panel complimented their composition, calling it something they had not seen yet and Oliver's newfound confidence. It was even advised that they stick together by Yoon Jongshin as they had found something great together.
With compliments like that, they formed DEATH VALLEY in the 12th episode of Superband. No one was surprised to see this lineup when they all met together before the performances. As their first live performance with an actual audience, SEUNGMIN was worried that about impressing the fans as they were all struggled with confidence throughout the show.
They presented their first original composition in the form of FARTHER AND FARTHER, a ballad about longing and memories. In their critiques, YOON SANG stated that seeing this newfound freedom from both OLIVER and SAWYER was amazing compared to the first round. While the song was met with great feedback from both judges and fans, there was no overtaking LUCY with CRY BIRD. Death Valley, however, did take SECOND PLACE with 7,410 votes.
OUR PAGE was definitely a Plastic Flowers reject and Poppies were quick to notice after the episode aired. Despite this, they earned almost a perfect score from the live audience and secured FIRST PLACE with 7,470 points, with HOPPIPOLLA not far behind them. With the two having very similar performances that showcased a new side of their bands, it made many confused as to what the audience and judges were looking for. They were given, once again positive feedback from the judges, however, they were given the challenge to make something more exciting. While these songs were good, none of them seemed like lead singles for their first album and Joe Hahn wanted to see that from the quartet in their next performance as it was the last stage. If they could make something lead single-worthy, they would have no problem winning.
SECOND PLACE IS THE FIRST LOSER ... THE LIVE FINALE.
Taking the advice of Joe Hahn to heart, the members of Death Valley got to work on their next song. For leader Siyul, it would make no sense for the group to prepare a cover this late into the game and need to come up with something brand new. They took similar themes from OUR PAGE and transformed them for TAKE MY HAND, a promise to their new fans and breaking away from the fear that had held onto them throughout the entire competition. They kept with their FLOWER BOY aesthetic and fought hard against their competitors, however, OLIVER struggles with his in-ear caused some weird sections as he attempted to shove the device back into his ear to hear the music, which was clocked by both judges and the audience. Death Valley ended up ranking SECOND OVERALL in the competition, earning 27,389 votes total.
THE AFTERMATH ... WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Following the end of Superband, each other members went their separate ways. OLIVER returned to Plastic Flowers and his popularity during Superband brought the first wave of new fans to the band. He has since become the creative lead of the team along with debuting as a soloist in March of 2023. SAWYER followed close behind Gwyn and signed with Superbloom Media as a songwriter and producer. The pair often collaborate, as seen with Burnout Syndrome. Sawyer currently has no plans of debuting solo or in another band at the current moment. SEUNGMIN returned to his college program and recently earned his teaching license in South Korea! Though he went back to his original band, he wanted to complete his degree to have something to lean back on as DOGFIGHT struggled to gain relevance. Finally, TAEYUN went back to SAFETY ZONE, which remains an independent artist to this day and tries to release music consistently.
DEATH VALLEY would, of course, reunite not long after filming ended for the SUPERBAND TOUR, where the top five bands all reconnected. It was a bittersweet time for their fans and they promised to come back soon, which never did happen. With the FIVE-YEAR anniversary of Superband happening in 2024, the members have teased the potential for a reunion and even their own album. Given how busy each member is, it's not surprising that nothing has been set in stone but they promise something will come!

Hi uh
What's Chonny Jash? Or who? /nm
I'm seeing it everywhere and I have no idea what it is or what it entails
Chonny Jash is a who! ^^
He's a musical artist most well known for his album, Chonny's Charming Chaos Compendium, which covers songs from a band called Tally Hall, as well as the band members' other projects, like Joe Hawley's Miracle Musical/Hawaii: Part II.
The gist of it is a character named Whole who stands in for Chonny himself, who splits either metaphorically or literally into three halves. The Heart, the Mind, and the Soul.
The majority of the album is Heart, Mind, and Soul struggling to come Whole again.
The characters TECHNICALLY don't have official designs so you can envision them however you want!
It's also a time loop, so that's fun XD
These posts should be of use to you!
Also, there are technically some reprises of songs, and Chonny made the reasonable decision to put all the variations of the songs into single videos with each variant, which is convenient, but may lead to some confusion. I recommend this playlist if you want to watch all the music videos:
And THIS one, if you're ok with having some songs be audio only! (aka the official playlist!)
But if you're ok with multiple songs in one video, there's always this playlist right here!
And there's of course the nifty full album videos too!
First one is audio only and official!
youtube
Second one has all the music videos in chronological order and is UNofficial!
youtube
If CCCC isn't up your alley, Chonny also makes covers of other music artists and his own original music!
I believe that's everything? I hope this was helpful and have fun dipping your toes into the wonderfully creative and inventive world of Chonny Jash, Eli! :D

aoba johsai <3 lover
hi here’s some songs from taylor swift’s lover album that i think match each seijoh pairing :))
iwaoi <3 lover
i mean c’mon
it’s IWAOI ofc they get the title track
“and you’ll save all your dirtiest jokes for me / and at every table, i’ll save you a seat”
AHSJDJ it’s them !! they don’t even have to say anything, if there’s a chair open next to iwa/oiks, everyone automatically knows who it’s unofficially reserved for
“and i’m highly suspicious that everyone who sees you wants you”
^ i think this covers both oikawa’s natural jealousy as well as how iwaizumi’s watched time after time again as countless amounts of people crush on his tooru
just the term “lover” for them. i think it’s the word they’d use in the timeskip when describing their “secret relationship” during interviews, it reveals as little as possible about the “mystery person” while still properly communicating just how important they are :)
matsuhana <3 it’s nice to have a friend
makki and mattsun genuinely have no fucking clue how they got together, they just sorta slowly shifted from being friends and doing friend things to doing boyfriend things and being boyfriends
bc of this they just picked a random ass day as their anniversary and just rolled w it
matsuhana’s so interesting to me because they’re friends to lovers like iwaoi/kinkuni yet each of them is a different FLAVOR of friends to lovers that i can’t quite explain but i love em
“something gave you the nerve / to touch my hand”
THEY!! YES! doing all their coupley shit all the while saying “it’s nice to have a friend” even though they both realize it’s faded into something much more
“twenty questions, we tell the truth” idk they just seem like they’ve never lied to each other before bc they’ve never had any reason to hide what they’re feeling
kyouhaba <3 afterglow
*deep inhale* OKAY there’s a LOT !
it should be noted that literally so fucking many of the other songs fit them but i want something slightly kinda happy pls :’)
i really love this song and it’s portrayal of arguing w your loved one and then taking the time afterwards to apologize and take accountability
and there are so so many kyouhaba fics where they fight and then make amends (although i still think there should be even MORE)
i just love them having so many feelings and not enough ways to deal w them and the vulnerability when they own up to their mistakes and AAHHHHHHHH
“i don’t wanna do this to you / i don’t wanna lose this with you” and “hey, it’s all me, just don’t go”
(^ examples of them being VULNERABLE AND OPEN)
also “tell me that you’re still mine / tell me that we’ll be just fine / even when i lose my mind”
i am normal about them! (lie)
side note i like how when perusing the seijoh couples gallery you just see “childhood friends to lovers!”, “best friends to lovers!”, “pals to lovers!”, then you turn the corner and see the most aggressive, tension-fueled enemies(?) to lovers pairing you’ve ever seen for no goddamn rhyme or reason
kinkuni <3 paper rings
paper rings has a childlike whimsy that suits kindaichi & kunimi’s relationship perfectly
half of the lyrics seem like things kindaichi would say to kunimi w full earnesty too
“i’m with you even if it makes me blue” and “wrap your arms around me, baby boy” !!!
(kunimi calls it “corny”, kindaichi calls it “romantic”, both with dumbass, lovestruck smiles on their faces)
“i hate accidents except when we went from friends to this” is 100% kunimi though, he doesn’t like surprises and events that require him to exert extra effort, but for kindaichi? he’s more than okay with it
the whole song is just so sugary sweet and shamelessly adorable and at the end of the day that’s what kinkuni is! (at least behind closed doors, bc they get embarrassed sometimes)
and bc i can’t leave my boy out, it should be noted that watari shinji is a red man to his very CORE. you bet your ass on his twenty-second birthday he was blasting 22 like his life depends on it
