Dame groaned, head falling to the side to rest on Tia’s shoulder. “You know I adore Hannah but do we have to? I wanted a night for just us.” Dame looked up at her through dark lashes as best as she could without moving her head.

Tia laughed, shifting to put her plate on the counter so she could card her fingers through Dame’s soft blonde tresses. “We’re roommates, Dada. Every night is just for us.”

Dame just pouted, nuzzling closer and saying nothing.

“We have to at least make an appearance, okay? She's been my friend since uni. Besides, we’re in charge of bringing the cake.”

Dame let out a long-suffering sigh and made a show of standing back up straight. “Fine, but just you wait and see if I give you any evening cuddles.” She stuck out her tongue. Tia rolled her eyes but her own smile widened.

“Threats don’t work if I already know you won’t follow through,” Tia retorted, blowing her a kiss and picking her plate back up.

Absolutely incredible how I went into both Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory fully ready to commit to a gay ship but both of them wound up giving me next to nothing in the first season.

#okay actually I think I was seeing Benji at the end of Season 1?#but I think Season 2 killed it at some point #it might not have died until Season 3?#maybe the fandom killed that one for me?#obviously I locked in on Yasammy but...I think it was Season 3 that killed Benji #then this time I was all ready for Benrius #and two episodes in I was like ''nope this Will Not Work''#their dynamic was INCREDIBLE don't get me wrong #I love those two!#but sometimes you just gotta go ''yeah no this isn't going to work in a shippy sense these two just don't Click''#obviously sometimes (looking at you Brooklynn and Kenji) the canon doesn't care #but...there's just no Pop and it's annoying #I do think there's a small thread of Benji weaving a little path through #largely because I think Ben ''Live In a Van'' and Kenji ''Live In a Trailer'' now match Wild Energy #but #eh #the only one is Yaz and Sammy right now #even Dinostar is on the ropes with me because well Brooklynn's dead #but also more importantly Darius admits she wasn't into him #which is neat because even though they lived together for a bit #NOTHING HAPPENED #and I don't think he was missing clues or anything I think he really picked up on it #and then they fell apart #jwct shipping nonsense

#although it’s funny you should say that cause i remember when my brother was trying to get me to watch ted lasso #he kept asking me for like 4-6 months or so #and i kept saying ‘it’s not my thing’#and then i went to visit him and i guess we had nothing better to do so he was like ‘please just try one episode’#so i said ‘fine. why not.’#and i didn’t pay much attention to it…like i was half interested in it until maybe the 3rd or 4th episode #and then i started paying more attention and then i got hooked…#eventually rewatched the whole thing and liked it even more the second time #and this was a few months before season 3 aired and of course by then i was a big fan of this silly football show #kinda went a little crazy while season 3 was airing too #but my fixation on it is stronger now i think than before #also i do not really care for sports…someone thought i like this show because i love the sport or something #but i do not…i just really enjoy the characters and the humor #i think it’s a great show and watching it feels like a warm hug #it’s funny but also has its angsty moments and idk i feel like my brother now trying to convince people to try it #oh and i don’t even know how i became a royjamie shipper #it just happened….they have a crazy dynamic and i just think they deserved to kiss lol

my problem is that im too sensitive about my interests and how people talk about them. but considering I stopped being capable of feeling emotions irl sometime around 2019 i think being oversensitive about my cartoons is the one thing im allowed to be In this godforsaken world. its my birthright

smthing i never see get brought up in fics (which is understandable bc this is the smallest minute detail that would only rarely come in handy) is that for the first 3 seasons of spn the impala has a spotlight installed on the passenger side. they only use it like 2 times in the entire show but its there

#i never noticed it until 1 day i was watching simon said and kept noticing the handle of the spotlight was in a lot of shots #and in the same day i watched hookman which i think may be the only episode where they actually use the search light in an establishing shot #AGAIN. the tiniest detail i had never noticed but was suprised to notice bc i had never even heard anyone else bring it up #but most fics i read are set stanford era to season 3 (which was the Era of the spotlight) and not in a single one of them can i remember #the light ever being brought up. idk what context it COULD be brought up in. but still #i just think its cute to imagine dean as a kid graduating to the front passenger seat and getting to be on spotlight duty #or maybe dean installed the spotlight after john handed him the car and it was sammys job #<- insane and reading way too much into tiny details that no one cares about
