hi anon! thank you for the (slightly rude) enthusiasm. im so happy you enjoy my writing. It's taking me a little longer than I expected to answer this ask, I apologize.

this book means the world to me, and i want it to be perfect. every chapter has to be super precise, i want it to have twists and turns you'd never see coming in a million years. it is taking a while because i only write when im feeling a specific mood. this book is pretty dark and graphic, so i kinda want it to have that overall feeling. evan in himself is a very, very complex character, i want him to have layers for you all to dissect.

another reason this book is taking a bit more time is because im having a few of my friends read it over, help with grammar, and tell me if something feels out of place. I'm hoping it'll come out this month or next, but I'm currently fretting over a wedding I'm going to, so I'm not sure.

i apologize if you thought this book was going to be out quicker, but it is my book, and it will be published whenever i feel like publishing it.

I wrote Finding Freddy when I was a year or two out of college. I based the background/setting for the intro to that fic on Portland, ME where I lived for 4 years. Mostly because it was a big jump for me to go from bumfuck, Nowhere, UPNY to a thriving, lively, glowing city beside the ocean so deep on the east coast. Walking home uphill with the sun in front of me heading behind the old buildings was a favorite memory of mine...but there was a loneliness to it, a sadness because I loved it but couldn't stay...and I missed the farm country I grew up in.

Thank you so much, guys. I have to wear a face shield, which I think is the source of the issues. I’ve set my computer on the night shift setting which has helped a lot with the blue light, but the reflections and overall not-clear-ness of the face shield that’s hurting my eyes. 

I’ll look into the coatings for the face shield. Thank you so much, though, guys! I appreciate all the suggestions!!
