Deadlift Training Variable (Pyramid Strength Training) What is Pyramid strength training? 👉 It is a collection of sets, of the same exercise, that start with a light weight/moderate weight and building up to a heavier weight with few reps throughout the session. After your training goal is achieved during the session then reverse the process by reducing the weight until you complete the initial set. How often should you train? 👉 Every 4-6 weeks is ideal to have this type of training variable. Beneficial if trained as the main strength training session incorporating with other supplementary/assistance exercises. Benefits? 👉 Less overall training volume. As a result reduces the risk of over stressing your body from previous strength sessions.
