Idgaf I nodded when Katara bloodbent that piece of shit captain in TSR because it really did feel like generations of ancestral rage channeled through her as she used a power that was created by the only other surviving Southern Water Tribe bender who had used that same power to escape colonial imprisonment and torture. And yeah, that’s not how the (white) writers wanted us to view blood bending if The Puppetmaster is anything to go by but they gave Aang energy bending and Zuko lightning bending so Katara should be able to blood bend a soldier of the Fire Nation without judgement.

stopped masking when i took the new job because i didn't know what the culture would be and i didn't want to be off-putting with my new staff since i was already starting at a disadvantage by not knowing the job because i promoted from a completely different department. which i obviously shouldn't have done, i put my insecurities ahead of my and everyone else's health. and so of course i seem to have pretty much immediately contracted covid. (confirmed exposure on tuesday, negative test on thursday but i have a sore throat, will test again on sunday.) guess i'm going back to masking for just the rest of my fucking life then. fuck trump and biden and every single person in a position of power who sacrificed millions of people for the sake of the stock market. looking forward to their trials when the time comes
