bit the bullet & updated my game & i'm pretty sure i lost my saves :)))

#rae.txt #i keep getting this error:#Unable to start: The contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of The Sims 4 and cannot be loaded #i backed up my stuff & deleted the sims 4 folder in my documents #then opened the game to let it repopulate that folder #then moved my stuff back #but every time i put my saves in i get that error #plus now for some reason the new world won't show up at all #im so mad

I've been having insane space issues that I've spent hours working around and I was fucking around deleting unnecessary files when I found out that it fucking downloaded TWO FULL COPIES OF THE SIMS in a documents folder for a user that DOESNT EXIST

*tumblr callout post voice* we posted intimate details of someone's transgressions including the names and online handles of the people they hurt but that was invasive and got taken down so now here's this new document with even more intimate details of this person's transgressions but we took out the names and online handles so it's good now.

#lifeblogs #like . i think it's possible we don't all need to know every last detail of the harm someone has done to say that maybe they suck #and like . also i personally wouldn't have known this person existed if it weren't for these callouts #at a certain point it just starts to feel like theater #like... airing all these different transgressions (aka people's actual trauma) so that all of tumblr can gawk at how terrible this person i #like what's the point of that. is there anything productive that comes of that.#and do we really trust all tumblr users to use that information in productive ways.#i don't know. i haven't read the actual document both because it wouldn't be productive and because it would be triggering #because like if i read it it would be entirely just... me buying into that theater. like. i would be gawking.#i don't know the person in the document i don't know their victims or their communities and i probably never will.#there is no reason for me to know every detail of every terrible thing they've done.

I sent in a medical records request in october? To get life insurance through work (why not right?) And my stupid dr never sent them in.

WHY DID I JUST NOW GET A TEXT FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY THAT THEY JUST RECEIVED MY RECORD?!?!?!??!?!

#marquilla #they give you like 60 days to get the records. this fucker took like double that. what the fuck.#he's such an incompetent dr as in his office is just so poorly structured that if you do not have them send something in #RIGHT THEN when youre there watching its a fucking toss up if it gets in #and i just never contacted them bc i felt it wasnt MY FUCKING JOB to make sure they got the request that I SENT THEM #and i said well if they get it and i get approved it was meant to be otherwise ill try again some other time.#honestly i only still go to him bc he gave me a disability parking card with no problems like i expected #he was like yeah sure ambulatory cane user yeah you have fibro and cfs mhm got it 👍👍#where i thought he'd be like weeeell do you REALLY need it? i mean you work without it... (bc i only do 4 hrs and can pace it)#but like god help you if you want a new rx for an inhaler for your well documented asthma 🙄 had to ask my allergist the next time i saw him #like a year later and he was like... what have you been doing without one??? like bumming off mom sgdgdggdgdd and drinking warm water while #breathing very measured breaths like the school nurse made me like sgdggdgd im fine i just want to have a new script so i have refills and #fresh inhalers if i fucking need one but apparently my dr didnt think i did 🙄 my allergist actually called in two shgdgdgd #he was like get this bitch TWO inhalers and an epipen NOW

Why the fuck would I want cloud storage and not the local storgae I ALREADY PAID FOR

I was wondering why my files were all a fucking mess as I was transfering them over from my old laptop they changed the default location and just hope you don't notice???

#i only fully realized when I was checking some paths in the terminal #only ro discover THERE IS ANOTHER DOCUMENTS/PHOTO/MUSIC/ETC FOLDER UNDER USER FOR LOCAL STORAGE #anyway im royaly pissed bc I have to move a shit ton of file AGAIN #thankfully I had't hard set any paths but fuckkkmm #i was hoping to take my new laptop to class too bc my old one needs to rest but fuckkk if this won't take me a hot sec #the worse part is i already don't really like my new laptop this is making it WORSE #i love my thinkpad
