QUARTET NIGHT with Chubby, Motherly-type Reader

My first request! I am elated. I hope you enjoy the series… The movies are very good as well! I decided to write for QUARTET NIGHT only, I hope that's okay.

When it comes to AI, he's the one that seems the most mature and organised of all, but he can still be childish in certain situations. Although reticent at first, a motherly-type of friend would help Ai to regulate himself better - he tends to get obsessive over things he likes and regularly loses sleep doing stuff like practising music or online gaming, so I believe someone who would remind him to take breaks or just stop and relax would help him to manage his free time better. He would find it a bit distracting at first, but with time he would understand that it is what's best for him and become thankful for the small caring gestures of this friend.

It's not something that everybody knows and even less people would know how to deal with it, but he was extremely confused once he overheated and this friend tried their best to help him with it. Following instructions without prying or asking for reasons as to why - merely helping out of worry for his well being, was something he had not really experienced many times before. Although this friend would not force him to tell any of his past if he didn't want to, I feel Ai would eventually tell them about his nature once he felt a bit more comfortable with it.

Once he gets close to this friend, they would be the first person he would call when he wanted to discuss his thoughts and discoveries about feelings, people, and the like. He has the bad habit of doing so late at night, though, so sometimes he still gets scolded about it…

For RANMARU, he would be very pissed off at first. If this friend is a woman - well, he doesn't do very well with women to begin with, even less with ones that tell him what to do. Little by little he would come to accept it, rather than admit that he appreciates it, and come to expect a warm blanket over him once he wakes up from a nap, or a small snack next to him, rather than complain about it.

It might be out of respect or to avoid being scolded, but whenever this friend is present, he tries his best not to use overly aggressive language and be AT LEAST a little polite; if he catches himself being too rude, he would quickly look at his friend as if trying to see if he has been caught and about to be called out. He might even call them by their last name if they preferred (no honorifics, though!).

Once he and this friend become closer, I think he would be the type that would enjoy just plain hanging out, no need to talk deep or become too sentimental. He would invite them over to his flat for drinks (which would have this friend bring him some plants or knick knacks, his apartment is so empty!), and might even accept help with dyeing his hair once the roots start to show again.

Similar to Ranmaru, CAMUS would first find it a nuisance. Who were them to tell him what to do and how to act? Of course in front of other people he would be cordial and sweet, but on their own when there's no cameras around, Camus would not be very welcoming to that kind of behaviour. Rather than think of it as someone taking care of him, he would see it as someone looking down on him, as a lot of people did back in the Silk Palace.

This friend manages to get closer to Camus by making a good cup of tea and bringing some nice sweets. He would begrudgingly accept the brewing as acceptable, no matter how amazing it is, and would drink it in silence. Once he sees that this friend is not drinking tea, or eating the snacks themselves but rather serving them to him, he would say something alike to how it's not polite to stand while someone else was eating - a sneaky way to invite them to sit as well (maybe after feeling guilty because of his harsh words and treatment).

He doesn't want to assume anything related to eating habits given his friend's weight and he's unsure if the question would come as too intrusive or offensive, so he would come up with a roundabout way of finding if this friend had any snack preferences. He would pretend he just bought some, and ask if they would be willing to share over a cup of tea, or come up with an excuse to invite this friend to a shop he's been meaning to check himself.

One has to be careful, though, as dealing with Camus is quite tricky. He does not appreciate when people act (in his eyes), as if they know better than him. Still, he would accept once in a while for this friend to warn him to stop eating so much sugar at once, or casually help him calm down if he gets too angry at something in particular.

Finally, with REIJI, it would be a bit of a tug of war at first. He's the one that acts like an elder brother to the rest of QUARTET NIGHT and STARISH (or anything younger than him, really) so he tends to take the role of caretaker most of the time. At first it would confuse him, and he wouldn't really know how to react - he's not used to being the one being taken care of.

He would learn to appreciate it, though he would pass it as a joke as he tends to do. He would comment something about this friend being "reichan-senpai's senpai! so you better behave!". If this person is good enough at reading people OR has gotten close enough to Reiji, he would cherish those moments where his friend asked him for menial things as a way to distract him when his mood grew sadder as it tends to do at times.

If he got close enough to this friend to talk about it, he would open up about his weight as well. Although he doesn't want to assume either, he knows people can be overly judgemental about it, even more in his line of work, and would see this person as a safe space to talk. He's good at cooking and his family runs a bento shop so he's a good eater, and although he is pretty athletic, he is not as skinny as most people would expect an idol to be - pairing with his height, he has become a bit insecure about it. Even if he doesn't like when people fight, let alone fight for his sake, he can't help but feel a bit glad when this friend stands up to him after Ai called him overweight once.

He would try to pay this friend back on his own way, that being by his cooking or inviting them out for a ride, to show his appreciation as well. It's a constant battle of out-parenting each other!

Unbeknownst to her, three members of St☆rish heard her sing and taken by curiosity, they decided to search for the source of the voice. Though even without any evidence, those three knew whose voice that was. They knew that it belonged to no other than [Y/n] herself.

Red, brown and bluish-black hairs emerged from a corner and their eyes immediately fell on the gazebo. There they saw the silhouette of the girl sitting on the bench in the middle of the gazebo.

Otoya's reddish-orange eyes stared lovingly at [Y/n]'s silhouette from the distance, listening attentively to her angelic voice. As for Tokiya, he was entranced by the girl's harmony with his blue eyes dilated wide in surprise. Though a small smile soon tugged his lips.

As the song progressed, a pair of blondes appeared from behind the building, rounding the corner and soon their eyes landed on the gazebo before them. The two blondes, one tall and one short, immediately stopped in their tracks and stared at the person from afar.

Natsuki's emerald eyes lit up in recognition of the voice. "It truly is [Y/n]-chan!"

"Ssh! Not so loud, Natsuki!" Syo instantly scolded the taller male in a hushed voice. "You don't want to ruin her performance, do you?"

"Sorry, Syo-chan..." Natsuki rubbed his head apologetically.

The two didn't exchange words after. They stayed silent and focused on listening to [Y/n]'s singing. Syo and Natsuki once heard the [h/c]ette sing before, and the first time that they did, they were enthralled by her delicate song and gentle voice.

Syo's blue hues softened as he gazed at the girl's back, watching her from the shadows. He leaned on the wall with his arms crossed, deciding to close his eyes in order to feel the emotions even better.

As for the tall, glasses-wearing blonde, he had his hands clasped together in front of his chest. A genuine smile sported his lips, along with gentle gem-colored orbs filled with excitement.

"I can agree with that," a smile tugged the blunette's lips as well.

The word angel as soon as left from your mouth, the youngest looking boy burst out laughing. 

“She thinks we’re angels! Isn’t it hilarious?”  

“Oh.. pardon me.. I was just saying about the painting...” you quickly blurted an excuse by pointing at the painting hung above the grand staircase.

“Don’t lie－, you thought of us right?” the youngest boy slid down the stairs as he grabbed your hands. 

“Um... I was called by this letter that invited me to a castle my distant relative owned?” 

“Hmm...let me see.” the tall man with the glasses approached you as he grabbed the letter you held as he scanned it. 

His amethyst eyes, the mole near his lip, black glasses with light brown shade hair, all of his fair appearance made you remember of a sculpture, thinking that god himself breathed air into this man. 

“I heard about someone coming to this castle, could it be that you’re a relative to the owner of this castle?” The boy with the same amethyst eyes and a lighter smile approached you. You thought he had a kind smile, yet there was something about him which made your nerves stand up. 

“What.. what are you doing in this castle? Who are you?” you finally had the courage to speak up. 

“We are the current owners of this castle. The previous owner left us in charge when the owner went off to a long journey.”  the man with sparkling bright green hair and dark orange eyes approached you. He was muscular and tall, somewhat intimidating. 

“It does show that... previous owner had invited you......But I ........assume that the return would not be tomorrow...” the man with large golden orbs and dark black hair had said from the back. 

“Then...why not stay, the castle itself welcomes you, as myself.” said the man with white sliver hair and light pale violet eyes, with skin so pale it almost frightened you. 

“Wow, you’re quite something! Shion never warms up to people easily!” the man with sparkling light brown eyes approached you, he was smiling and cheerful, yet just like the boy with the amethyst eyes, something about his demeanor frightened you. 

“Uh.. is it not a burden?” you asked. 

“Of course not! Let’s not worry about petty things! I want to play with you!” the smallest boy grabbed your hand and led you up the stairs. 

You had no idea as he ran up the stairs while the 6 men followed you, the horrors you were going to face.

I'm coming back here!! I want to keep up with this blog, but i sadly didn't had any ideas to write until now!

The Lycoris no Mori drama cd has given me a lot to think of!

I did this on on the POV of Otoya, so I hope you enjoy it!

And a warning: This one shot has spoilers of Lycoris no Mori, in case you want to evade spoilers of it!

"Look over here, (y/n)!!!! On this play I will get to be Red Riding Hood!!!"

Today was a good day, during the rehearsals of this new project I could be with my beloved (y/n)! They watched me over as I did my best in acting! This time however, was a darker take on a Fairy tale, the director wanted me to be the main character because he said to me I was a perfect fit for Blood!

However, as I read the script, I realized that the story was, very dark. There was more blood involved than I expected, to think Masato would have agreed to do that scene still gives me the chills, but I'm glad he was ok during this, I know the blood is fake, but the way the scene plays out makes it look way too realistic.

And I need to talk about my friends here! Ren was acting as cool as ever! And Cecil also got a similar role to me, and Tokiya got to be the big bad wolf! His outfit was amazing, we only needed the makeup, but it wouldn't be there until the day of the play.

The most important person here for me isn't even acting, it was (y/n)! They always cheer me on backstage, I can't think of a better person! I love them so much, but I have been pretty shy in my feelings, I always slip up on the confession.

Anyways, the play is going live in a week, but the director said I needed to spice up my acting! To act more devasted, acting is fun, but I need to practice as Blood more.

I was reciting my lines more dramatically, but people around me thought I was exaggerating the lines on purporse, no I was trying to emphatize Blood's feelings, I tried to keep up trying to get more and more into my role.

Until, I saw them. They were talking to Tokiya, and he also looked more serious that usual, they were talking without me…

I felt like I was left behind

I have… never felt like this before, or maybe, I have, the only thing I could think about is having (y/n) all for myself, and yet (y/n) looked so happy with Tokiya, I knew they were close friends, but I simply couldn't think of anything else, (y/n) is so cute, and gentle, and (y/n) helped me in everything they could, and yet, they prefered to be with that werewolf…

No, I shouldn't think about Tokiya like that, he knows that I love (y/n) too much, I don't think he would try to steal (y/n) for himself, wouldn't he? I knew he also loved (y/n) a lot, Maybe I shouldn't have told him that I loved (y/n)…

Wait… Why is (y/n) going so close to Tokiya, what are they talking about, did he just hug (y/n)??? Why are you so close to (y/n), Tokiya??? Why? Why am I suddenly thinking about erasing Tokiya? He is my friend, and yet he couldn't keep his promise of not going out with (y/n)? Why I want to push him away? Why am I thinking that… he should be tainted in red?

I tried to not walk to the scene, but I just couldn't stop myself from going there, I needed to know why they were so close, I can't believe you, Tokiya, to think I handed you my feelings for (y/n) and now you are trying to steal (y/n) from me, I can't believe you! I trusted you, Tokiya! Maybe… I should-

"Oh, Otoya, you are doing better in your role as Blood. But I think (y/n) needs our help now"

Our help??? You are the one who is trying to steal (y/n) from…

"(Y/n) has lost their dog some days ago, and it hasn't come back, they need our help after this rehearsal, I'm trying to make them feel better, they miss their dog a lot"

Oh, I misunderstood. I'm glad that my worst nightmare hasn't come true, I don't want to be betrayed, I don't. And I don't want (y/n) to be betrayed either, maybe I was reading the scenery too much.

I will help (y/n)! I will get their dog back! Maybe I will confess myself after this play in case Tokiya wants to do something… but wait, Tokiya didn't want to steal my beloved from me, did he? … (Y/n) Saw that my acting as Blood was fantastic! I'm watching the transmission again, I did a good job at expressing him. I looked devasted on that scene, I was still unsure how I would go on with stabbing Tokiya, despite, again the blood was fake, but yeah, we did our best! Cecil and Ren also were fantastic, thought Cecil did give me some genuine scares with his acting.

Ah, and I could finally tell to (y/n) how I feel about them! They reciprocated my feelings! I'm so happy I could explode, this sure was a nice day! It would have been better if Tokiya didn't give (y/n) some flowers, he said he didn't need the flowers, but maybe he is jealous of the love between (y/n) and I… But, I know deep down Tokiya wouldn't betray me, so I trust him as much as he trusts me!

I just hope he gets a little bit far away from (y/n).

The [h/c]ette composer skipped through the hallway, happiness was visibly present on her face with every bounce she made in every step. Her aura contained pure bliss as it emitted from her small figure. She can't contain her excitement anymore; the determination dotting on her [e/c] eyes successfully told us her goal for tonight—to be able to find and meet the last and oldest member of Quartet Night.

After turning around the corner, [Y/n] saw the stairs and didn't hesitate to continue going up. The girl had a feeling that she will be able to meet the brunette on the stairs, after all, she seemed to coincidentally meet the other idols in every place she goes. The bright smile was still present on her face while remaining her gaze upwards.

However, her [e/c] hues soon landed on the other fedora-wearing male in the agency. His taupe-gray eyes glancing down at her petite form. His signature smile was shown on his pale face. The male was standing by the second floor of the building, his arms resting on the railings while he leaned on it.

"Hey, kiddo. Welcome back."

The smile on her face broke into a wide grin. "Rei-nii!"

"I see that Shining finally allowed you to visit us," he stated, walking over to her as the girl reached the platform.

"Uh-huh!" she nodded happily.

Reiji's face broke into a grin at the enthusiasm the young composer holds. "You're truly a shining young lady, [N/n]-chan!"

"Being a niece to Uncle Shining made me all shining as well," [Y/n] joked, playfully rolling her eyes.

The brunette laughed at her jokes, it really felt nice having the girl around. She's like a bright, small star shining beautifully in the dark, midnight sky. She had the ability to warm everyone's heart with her presence and with her song... and that's the reason he had taken a liking to her.

"The way you always shine sets my heart pounding."

[Y/n] listened closely to what the brunette was saying, an undeniable blush flushed across her cheeks. She didn't know why but her heart started to speed up as her whole body heats up. 

Soon enough, Reiji took a step forward towards her and took her hand into his. He had that same smile on his face as he lifted her knuckles to his lips, kissing it. This sudden intimate gesture sent [Y/n]'s face a hundred shades of red.

"But you could shine even more. I'll show you how. Come on."

With that said, the idol gently lets go of her hand and retreated his body back. He hung his head down, the fedora he's wearing made it impossible for the girl to see his expression. This made [Y/n] curious by his statement as she patiently waited for the male to speak further while tilted her head to the side in confusion.

"Let's enter the world of adults together," Reiji proclaimed, slowly raising his head and his gray eye that wasn't covered by his brown hair staring intently at her.

The seriousness of his voice sent a shiver down [Y/n]'s spine with her eyes wide as saucers and cheeks regaining back its red hue from earlier. She had her mouth parted agape while Reiji's words swirled inside her mind. She was speechless all right.

After examining her reaction, the brunette reverted back to his usual cheerful self and chuckled. "Sorry, sorry."

It took [Y/n] a moment before snapping back to reality. She huffed and pouted, crossing her arms childishly. "Please stop teasing me, Rei-nii. And for your information, I'm still 16 years old; I'm no adult."

Reiji only chuckled further. "I can't help it. It's really fun to tease you and you're cute when you pout~"

[Y/n]'s pout remained as she stood firm on her spot. Her arms were still crossed over her chest whilst a pink tint appeared once again on her cheeks. She was thoroughly embarrassed by Reiji's teasing and compliments. Sometimes she couldn't know what the brunette was thinking--he can be serious or joking at the same time. But nevertheless, that personality of his attracted her attention successfully.

"Jokings aside..." once the idol finally stopped his chuckles, he flashed her the widest smile he could ever muster. "You are the first and last thing on my mind each and every day, [N/n]-chan!"

Her pink blush immediately burst to a deeper shade of red at his confession. Her heart was pounding really hard against her ribcage and she swore she could feel butterflies fluttering in her stomach.

"Let me sing a song for you, [N/n]-chan~" he winked at her.

And without waiting for her to reply, he started to sing the upbeat song she had made for him.

Reiji finished the song as his voice lingered longer through the halls. He still had the usual smile on his face while watching the girl's reaction. Surely enough, this brought her out of her trance as she responded with a smile on her own.

"How's it, [N/n]-chan?"

"It's great, Rei-nii!" she praised while throwing herself into him.

"Whoah! Careful there, kiddo~" Reiji chuckled and caught her in his embrace, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I can hear your heartbeat, Rei-nii."

"Yeah, you're right... Heartbeat," he muttered, glancing at the fluorescent moon outside the window with a gentle smile on his lips. "Ore no yoko ni heartbeat, beat, beat~♡"

The young man’s scent instantly hit your nose, and you melted under the short caress. At the very end, you felt only a gentle touch on your left cheek and the top of your head, and then Ren pulled away from you, rising from the white, soft carpet. “I’ll make us supper. Rest a bit, dove. Okay?”

You nodded, getting under the covers and turning on your phone.

While you were watching TikTok, Ren was preparing the two of you sandwiches with your favorite ingredients and two teas with a beautiful, distinct aroma. Evening like evening; a quiet routine was best for you.
