Macedon Lore Drabble :)

The winter solstice celebration was always a hard day for Macedon.

It was the day Macedon had met... him. They remembered it so clearly; fourteen and finally permitted to interact with the visiting demigods. It was loud in the room, yes, but when they looked at him.. Oh, the heartbreak that this demigod boy had been through.. It was horrible... and familiar.. somehow. Macedon made it their mission then and there to get to know the boy. He intrigued Macedon. It was almost like his very presence was pulling Macedon in. Pull Macedon in he did indeed. If only Macedon had sensed the danger and betrayal as they walked towards him... Maybe then.. none of 'this' would have happened.

im bummed that the thing so far in my career that i had the most fun on and generally was the most proud of has slowly descended into being something that largely its fanbase seems to hate. i feel like goodwill shifted rapidly and i get it like there are definite problems that we're all super aware of but man........ idk...... just disheartening. Feels like i havent really done anything worthwhile when i feel like i should be more at a point in my career where i have a lot of work to be really proud of.

My favourite thing about having read Dracula before Dracula daily is watching everyone freak out and worry about predictions, and I’m sitting here knowing exactly what happens, of which that prediction is replaced in the novel with one of equal emotional damage. it’s like dramatic irony in a Shakespeare play

anyway. I’m glad it’s done. Im glad I waited, to be honest, but now I have the post-spell-blah where I’m just. waiting.

sometimes i like to listen to those silly little reddit stories, the "amtah?" stories and such. but every so often one gets me thinking a little too hard and a little too sad.
