do you have any docs about the conlang and/or conscript? i just found your art and that immediately stood out as incredibly cool. i wanna write some funny stuff

The majority of my conlang stuff is written on graph paper held together with a paperclip or a spreadsheet file on my computer, so I do not have much easily accessible to share. Hm...

The vocabulary is currently... quite measly ever since I bulldozed everything and killed it all dead. So fleshing out vocabulary and whatnot is what I have to work on next. Grammar is similarly rudimentary but it was never intended to be very complex. A lot of information wouldn't be encoded verbally, only through pheromones and body language.

The 20th of this month (april (haha weed number)) marks my 7th anniversary of seriously drawing! Its been a long road, but I think it was worth it. Of those 7 years ive only been drawing Umei for 4 of those, But making Umei really pushed me to continue drawing more and more, as they made me happy to draw, and through all these years of drawing my partner was supportive of me. I cant thank her enough for always being there for me. I felt like a nice way to celebrate is to draw Every* Umei ive drawn up to this point, no matter how little the design was used. Ive learned so much through all these years of trial and error, victory and failure, and i savor each one, as it taught me something new in the process. I hope I still have many more years of drawing left in me, and that I will get to proudly show my work to others. Thank you for appreciating my art, and thank you for taking time out of your day to look at things ive made with love poured into them.

I’ve been thinking about having Billiver and Isanna’s relationship actually be something different for him, something unusually lasting, so here’s a little bit of their reunion, fifteen years and an apotheosis with a different partner later:

Very well.” He took her hand from his face and held it in both of his, and she let her other hand slip down to his shoulder. “Do you remember what I said when you left? How my kin don’t tend to settle down with one person?” “I do, yes,” she said softly. He nodded, then said, “Well, I… expected my feelings for you to fade. To remain fond, but fade. Especially with you gone.” He frowned and shook his head, and his grip on her hand tightened. “They never did.”

So, wait, mnemosurgery addiction is an addiction to performing mnemosurgery? I've heard of it before but i always assumed bots got addicted to receiving it

Yeah!! Typically in canon, a mnemosurgery addiction is the mnemosurgeon's addiction to performing it, to the point it kills many (this was a big part of Chromedome's character and one of the things we knew early with him) because there's a bit of inherent risk with mnemosurgery (something about the process of linking minds together like that). The Fatal Injection is talked about a decent bit, and we very nearly see this happen to Chromedome when he's doing it with Dominus / The Pet in the end of MTMTE (this big whole thing)

But the idea of a character being addicted to receiving mnemosurgery??? Fascinating. Fascinating fascinating dynamics and scenes there. Especially considering mnemosurgery's history in idwg1, and it's connection with the autobots. Giving me ideas.
