oh boy considering im playing a LOT of games now it will be Fun

Omori: the characters; it's kind of obvious considering it's a very character-driven plot, but they're all so unique and interesting and fun and oh my god I want to adopt them all and let them know things will be okay especially Aubrey. She Did Nothing Wrong

KH3: the DLC; like specifically after you're done again with the fights with the organization, the Re:Mind is genuinely one of the best parts of the entire series, from exploring Scala, to the Guardians fight, to that one scene with Mickey, PLAYABLE KAIRI......... it's good. it's incredibly good

KHMoM: the gameplay; like. Yea with time I got increasingly more upset about the ending ansfdg but i still think MoM is a great game when it comes to, well. the actual game itself. they managed to mix up the usual fighting and platforming of kingdom hearts with a very solid rhythm game and it's. honestly impressive another final fantasy theathrythm for the switch WHEN

ACNH: decorating; there's not much to say, while I still prefer New Leaf when it comes to the villagers ACNH is still my favorite animal crossing because of how much potential you have when it comes to decorating both the house and the island. the DLC adding the villager houses' decorations just made it much better fnsdmg

DON'T STARVE/TOGETHER: the lore; it's so good my dudes. Even if y'all don't play Don't Starve go watch the animations because even just those are incredibly good

OH ** I love this question, thank you Veemo!! I can share my obsessions lately, heheh. 👀 I'll also try to stick with actual songs and not soundtracks because that's a whole new list, this might get a mess if I have to decide between osts too. :'3 With links too, since I'm also listening to them while I write~ And I'm also writing why I like them because of course I am. sjfkhl. I like to TALK,,

"Dead Inside" by Muse, which I am aware it might seem to reflect a bad evening sfjgk, but no, it's not because of it, I just love it. Give me a song or a story that talks about someone who's completely consumed by the love for someone else, and you have my full attention. Especially when it does like this song, where the protagonist of it starts by saying this is a bad thing, realizes what is happening is changing him and for the worse, but eventually gets to the point where he begs to not be left alone, because while detrimental for him, now he needs that love, it's like a drug. "Don't leave me out in the cold, don't leave me out to die! I gave you everything, I can't give you anymore! " is a line that always kills me when I hear it. Especially for how it's singed,,, chef kiss.

"Goliath" by Woodkid. I will admit that I like the videoclip ever so slightly more than the song itself, but the videoclip reflects the music, so they go hand in hand (which is becoming RARE lately). And look, for me to like a song it has to either tell me a story, or inspire me, and this song does BOTH, especially with the videoclip. I adore them both so much, that it's the only song lately I often stop and watch the videoclip when I put it on, instead of simply listening to it. They complete each other so well, and has inspired me an entire episode for one of my stories and even a lot of specific images to draw in it. And the eyes of the protagonist in the clip, ohh... I'm obsessed with eyes and the expressions of them, when I draw I always start with the eyes if I want to give an expression, and a BIG part of the inspiration comes from that stare. So... lost, and weary, so much that he seems to start connecting the pieces, but is simply too tired to do it completely, or even react to it (from 2:14 to 2:24 you can sense he's understanding something, and in the end he's the only one in that gigantic room, isn't he?). And boy oh boy, I rambled a lot about a single song, MOVING ON OR I'LL CONTINUE--

"What Makes a Good Man?" by The Heavy. Sweet, sweet Borderlands vibes. I swear, I put this song on in the morning to get myself out of bed, and it often gets my mood up when I'm feeling sad. Tonight it's working partially, but it's still doing it regardless! It's just... perfect if listened to while thinking about the Pre-Sequel, because while it might not be telling a story, if you consider it the "theme" of the Pre-Sequel (which... I think it actually is? I don't know if they made this song specifically for the game, but for me this is THE theme of the Pre-Sequel), this song is expanding the story. Let's be real, this song is about Jack, and YOU, the one playing the game. If you worked for Jack the entire game, are you like him in the end? Or are you a good person, unlike him? What makes a person good? I just love the concept of the song, and the RHYTHM it HAS, like YEAH, I WANT TO DANCE WHILE I THINK ABOUT IT!

"Your World Will Fail" by Les Friction. Which, oh no. I associated to Handsome Jack. I have a whole videoclip in my head for this song, with him starting calmly and then giving all of himself while Pandora is destroyed and it makes the song (for me, of course) more chilling when I imagine it while listening to it. The first time I listened to this I was also taken by surprise, because it starts so... gentle? So calm? That when the tone of the song drastically shifts, it kind of shocked me. I was offered a delicious cake and then they ATE IT in front of my VERY OWN EYES!! And that drastic tone change cemented this song in my head, I just LOVE it. This is not a song about people wanting to help you and save your world. This is a song about people considering themselves perfect, and you worthless, a failure worthy only of being eliminated. ... also, the line "calm before the rage, hostage in a cage " takes another meaning when you associate the song with Handsome freaking Jack.

"Gasoline" by Halsey. Wow, mood shift. Fun fact, this is another of those songs that I like because it mostly inspires me than anything else, and it ispires me for Avi! It's the kind-of-sort-of one of the very unofficial ost I have for Avi and his story, and this one mostly refers to Avi himself. Not really for the lyrics, mostly for the atmosphere of the song, which I love - but there is a part of the lyrics that I associate a lot with him. I mean, how not to associate to a creature born from nightmares the lines "You can't wake up, this is not a dream " and "You are not a human being, with your face all made up "? ... and to be fair, a few lines as well, but that starts to be spoilery. :3c
