This is my first attempt at homebrew, so it’s probably not perfect, but here’s the Blind Since Birth character background I made for DnD 5e!

I will be entering all the info into DnD Beyond soon, and I will update this post with the link when it’s done so anyone who wants to use it is able to!

Still drawing with my left hand on day two of the #thingsyoufindonaquest challenge. The prompt today was 'Elforg the Eunuch's Codpiece': 'Well I'll be a eunuch's codpiece!'. It's a common enough saying but Oakham the Bard learned the hard way that one should be careful around whom one makes such exclamations. A mean-spirited hedge wizard (with whom Oakham had a long-running dispute over who was better, Beyoncé or Solange) overheard him that night in the tavern and zapped him with a curse...and, I guess you can figure out the rest.  Needless to say, Elforg found it to be a little disconcerting when his codpiece sprouted a face and started talking but they were both stuck with the situation and in time Elforg discovered that Oakham was actually an invaluable source of sage advice and sassy one-liners. Elforg could often be seen conversing with his crotch in the years that followed. Oakham, well, at least he was never cold again. Elforg the Eunuch's Codpiece is a chaotic neutral sentient magic item requiring attunement. It gives its wearer advantage on History rolls and allows them to cast the cutting words cantrip at will with a spell save DC of 13.
