I feel like this serves pretty well as the clear turning point to Kal'tsit and the Doctor's relationship.

Sure, Kal'tsit has shown to have somewhat softened towards the Doctor and helped them out before this. But this feels like an actual moment where you can feel a shift in her attitude.

She acknowledges that what the Doctor went through wasn't really that fair, asked them why they fight, and told them to hold onto that answer an never forget it.

I sincerely doubt she'll ever let go of her hatred of the Doctor completely, but this feels like an acknowledgement from her.

Being jurgen leitner the day that gerry almost killed him was probably really surreal. Imagine you’re minding your business, collecting fucked up books, and out of nowhere this goth guy covered in eye tattoos shows up and beats you half to death, then stops, goes, “no you’re too pathetic to be jurgen leitner” and leaves without further elaboration. And you dont correct him, you like being alive after all, and after that you just… continue with your life. And then several years later you tell this to some random guy in the tunnels you’ve been hiding in, and he not only knows who the goth was, but seems somewhat fond of the goth. And then you get brutal pipe murdered by the random guy’s boss. Oops

So, I did one drawing for each season of the Magnus Archives and my favorite character, The Archivist. I wanted them to be a series, but I don't think they look terribly much like they belong together.

I had a lot of fun doing these. I use Photoshop for anyone wanting to know. And, yeah. If there is randomly anyone who wants to use these for anything, please just let me know and give me credit.

Suppose doctor truly is immortal or at least, has lived for a long long time it is not surprising if they encountered each other (pre-babel era). Back then i thought that doctor settled in yumen for a while or maybe worked for Yan when the two siblings are still there because so far only both ling and chongyue expressed familiarity with doctor (nian and dusk didn't, afaik) but then chongyue lines stated this:

I doubt chongyue would forgot doctor if, let's say they met just a century ago. Maybe they met waaaay back then. That is to say:

Arknights is the kind of game where I have no idea how people keep things straight on-content. Halfway through ch8 I stopped my friend in vc and went “okay wait but how ARE they related” and it took ten minutes and four wiki articles to untangle the whole Yenwu/Ch’en/Artorius family tree bullshit and the information was readily accessible. Reddit must have been a wasteland.
