So Percy and Jason are both feral kids. I calls it like I see it I'm afraid. And Jason 'I was raised by wolves' Grace and Percy 'Strangled a snake when I was baby and would claw someone's eyes out if I was in a mood' Jackson are feral.

Shoutout to the wonderful @incorrectjercyquotes for putting the idea in my brain.

Percy wakes up at Camp and they instantly have to knock him out. Why? Because he jolted upright, screamed bloody murder and broke Annabeth's nose. When he woke up the second time (with Annabeth standing far away), Grover explained because he knows Percy. Percy breaks down over his mum and only allows Grover near him.

After that people tended to avoid Percy, all looking at him like he was insane. And for as far he knew he probably was, everyone always treated him like something to be feared (minus Sally and Grover.)

Percy having a childhood spent with angry teachers and anger management sessions, and breaking down in Sally's arms because he doesn't know what's wrong with him.

Percy spending time in the forest at Camp, becoming more comfortable with the beasts and monsters there. After all they just see him as a smol angry bean.

Percy who curls up in a corner in the Hermes cabin and breaks too many weapons when he's mad. He never concealed who he truly was because he knows Sally would be saddened. Getting claimed as Posiedons son was like a kick to the face.

Jason was bought into camp as a three year old, unable to speak English and bitting any hands that crossed his way. He was claimed as Jupiter's son and they shunned him (because he was a monster)

Jason spent his childhood trying to live up to expectations thrust upon him. Those that cared for him were afraid to help him, feeling it would cost them there rank. Only Reyna stood by his side, learning his ways and it he learned to conceale it from all but her.

Jason who played the part of Jupiter's son but in his heart his only parent was Lupa. She vists him one day and there's despair in her heart, his eyes are cold, his hair combed and he's wearing armour and shoes... And than she looks at the Romans in disgust...for they broke her son.

Percv being sent to the Roman camp, hes surrounded by mockery and yet he finds himself also among allies. Those that never had the courage to aide Jason, rally around Percy for they let one of their own down... And won't again. They tell him about Jason, but only Reyna tells him the full truth.

Jason being sent to the Greek camp, and everyone's creeped out by his perfection and the way he holds himself talk and stiffly. They work with him and he's completely automatic. It's only when Grover confronts him later with stories about Percy, does a speck of life glimmer in Jason's eyes. As does a tear, because someone else accepts Jason... And not the son of Jupiter.

The two meet and it's like pieces put in place. Jason is hiding out in the forest from the celebrations and Percy snuck away. It feels more like an act than something that shows people care.

They talk, though Jason is bad with words. But Percy's time at the Wolf House helped him learn better. They understand each other, and aide the other. Jason starts to embrace his feralness instead if hiding and Percy learns what it's like to be a wolf.

They are both so protective and have 0 attention span when it comes to discussions. So many times Jason's been found running off to chase a squirrel. Percy stared at a laser pointer for hours.

They both share a room in the Argo ll that's essentially a nest of blankets. It also has slippers and chew toys which both of them have on hand, and Percy also stops wearing shoes.

In fights they are electric... Both of them full of blood lust and only they understand the others need to fight. And ripping off heads... Only intervening when the other is danger. And most fights have them covered in blood and guts with a big ol smile.

Lupa and Sally met somehow and both bond over tea, cookies and baby photos of there feral children.

Only Jason can successfully calm down a rampaging Percy. Or be crazy enough to wander into the tsunami surrounding him. Likewise Percy is the only one to get Jason out of his electric storm.

They both disown there fathers (Percy: My dad abandoned me for 12 years...time to return the favour) Infact they both introduce themselves as Son of Lupa and Son of Sally respectively

Jason Grace narrating using strict military esque language. Detailing the fights, the styles and the attacks. But every so often he'll comment on the flowers, the position of the moon, a subtle note here and there that doesn't quite match the rest.

His handwriting is neat, cursive but sometimes it'll become a scrawl when he's angry, as if the whole paper shook. Jason Grace analysing proper formation and than writing a poem about the lake, all in one paragraph.

Just... Jason Grace being a sweet child who even in his own narration can't help the cracks of his own personality shining through.
