They took an old highway through the mountains with remarkable views along curvy, winding roads that were originally paved in the 1920s and impossible to follow. A fog settled over the valley and heavy white mists softened over the mossy mountains, dreamy yet haunted. Moments later when they checked the map to chart their progress, they were 20 miles off the road. North had suddenly turned into West like a compass spinning through the Bermuda Triangle. “How did we end up so close to the Blue Ridge Mountains?” Brenda asked. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.” Jennifer leaned out the window as they curved around the lush slopes and cut through the fog. “Can you imagine riding horseback through these mountains? RIP Tom Hibbard (1947-2022)

He first wrote about my work in Skyviews magazine in 1988.He reviewed Photostatic mag with my works. Skyviews and his review were mentioned in Lightworks magazine the same year i guess and i asked Charlton Burch for his address because in the 80's you needed an address to connect with someone, so beautiful  in that era of The Eternal Mail-artnetwork. We were always in contact with letters, chapbooks he send and end 90's with the internet he did great reviews and researched Visual Poetry/Visual writing with f.e. great articles for Word for Word etc, check google and you'll find some gems :Milk mag, eratio etc

Sopot. Poland. Picture this house right after the war. The pain is fresh and the roof tiles are still intact. Everyone is working to get past the devastation. The garden has been weeded and there is a vegetable patch just to the right. Where the current fence stands there was once a low wall, just wide enough for a kid to run across it. In fact, the wall wraps around the entire neighbourhood and if you are really careful or very daring, you can hit up everyone's fruit trees without your feet ever touching the ground.  Do you hear them? Shhh.... Listen. There, off in the distance the hysterical laughter of young boys who have been stealing their neighbour's apples. As they scamper off to enjoy their haul, she comes running out shaking her fist but with a smile playing on her worn face.
