today has been a good day. it's speak now (taylor's version) eve, the red white and royal blue trailer dropped, hozier released the unreal unearth tracklist, and @waitingforthesunrise complimented me. i must be in heaven.

Kskdfkkfkfnfnf YES!!! That’s exactly it😭😭😭 I had a MASSIVE Redwall phase as a pre-teen and read them all back to back and the re-red. Whenever I hear someone say ‘mole’ I hear their speech pattern in my head 😭💀 The books are lowkeye not very enjoyable anymore but I’m still very fond of them.

And for once, this is actually very accurate! Milka is basically the main chocolate brand around here (it's basically like cadbury in the UK i think) and RitterSport (the little quadratic ones at the bottom) is really well known and popular as well! Both are very good chocolate, you should definitely try them out. Imo the best is always just the basic milk chocolate even though both brands have a lot of different fancy editions😋😋

just curious — your feelings on bisexual women interacting with lesbian or sapphic posts, making ‘gay jokes,’ saying ‘I’m so gay for her,’ etc

I mean I have no issue with it, and I don’t see why anyone would, since it is expressing a like for the same sex or same gender using the word to describe just that. I haven’t checked my notes but ik I queued that one lesbian post so I think it’s safe to presume this was asked because of it?

I’m definitely not trying to, nor do I think anyone should, gatekeep gayness from bisexuals and other m-spec identities. Bisexuals and m-spec identities belong in gay spaces without a doubt. However I also believe lesbians and gay people should be able to meet with people with singular attraction without any critique, just as I believe bisexuals and other m-spec identities should be able to meet on their own and talk about their experiences without critique! Sometimes it’s important to recognise differences, even if at the end of the day it is just as important to recognise our similarities :)) There are differences and that is great!! If not then there wouldn’t be the word difference between bisexuals and lesbians

I am aware that the post I made might have come of a little… seperatist-ish, although that wasn’t my intent. The quiet focus was m-spec lesbians and m-spec people who use butch and femme, attempting to co-op lesbian experiences and speak over us.

Anyways, thanks for the ask! Perhaps the above was unnecessary but I don’t want any misunderstandings 😭

I'm sorry I have kept this ask in my inbox for a few days; it was in hopes of finding something long to say, but I haven't.

My favorite Gaskell book so far is Cranford. It isn't the most romantic, the most philosophically elaborate, or the best crafted, but I love that it is, at its core, a story about how old ladies are people, with feelings and dreams and sorrows and stories worth telling. I love that so much of Cranford hinges around familial love and friendship. I even love how it suddenly transitions from lighthearted comedy to gut wrenching tragedy and back. But most of all I love... the reader arc. When we meet Miss Matty, she's little more than a shadow in the background. Shy and unassuming, she seems insipid and rather dull in contrast with her energetic and severe sister; but by the end of the story we suddenly realize it is Miss Matty and the honesty, kindness, and concern for the wellness and happiness of others that she represents that keep Cranford fundamentally good in the midst of its follies and shortcomings.
