Not Kidding | P. JH x I. NY
Note: sorry for the long wait, kinda busy with schools and sht
You never knew having 2 girlfriends is possible, but here you were teasing one of them. Jihyo was annoyed, she's driving for a road trip with the girls yet your hand was slowly penetrating her cock through her jeans, trying to contain her sinful moans that the veins on her neck aligned the more you grip onto her cock with the girls resting behind you
"Minatozaki Y/n, stop this i-instant"
"Why? Didn't you like being teased like this, in front of the girls??" You mocked, a soft smirk plastered on your face and your hand escalating further; unzipping her pants and felt the hardness poking through her maroon boxers. The leader grips the wheel tight, jaw clenching and her eyes wavering as she keeps herself calm through the ride at the same time reaching her orgasm
"Lil Zyo's cumming.."
"Shut the fuck up, don't even dare leave me hanging" She grits angrily, taking hold of your hair pushing you down until your lips met the tip of her exposed member. You sucked eagerly yet silent, as you heard someone mumbling in their sleep but luckily didn't wake up and see what's happening up front. Jihyo's eyelids falter halfway, pushing your head further as she finally came
Soft grunts escaped her lips, hips bucking slightly as thick ropes of cream fell and flowed on your tongue and down your throat. You hum in satisfaction, loving her release filling you up, pulling away to feel ger thumb removing the excess from the side of your lips
"Never do that again"
"What 'ya doin?" Nayeon smirks from the middle of the seats, you chuckle and kissed her cheek before winking at your girlfriend
"Just teasing Hyo here, she's been a naughty maknae"
"Oh!~ She should be punished then" Jihyo huffs and stops the car abruptly, making the eldest shove forward almost hitting the controls of the car
"SHE sucked me off, so don't fucking blame me"
"Hehe, love you too Hyo~" You hopped off now that the ride ends, you breathe in the fresh scent of air but then you were carried by a curious bunny
"So you teased her during the ride hmm? You're the naughty one, Minatozaki"
"U-Unnie.." Nayeon drags you to the designated room, unluckily paired with your girlfriends which made you shiver once Jihyo came out of the bathroom drying her short brown hair only wearing her paired underwear. Caught in each other's gaze, she walks to you with a smug grin on her face, licking her plump lips as she gripped your chin
"Bad girl deserves bad punishment.."
"Maybe not now, we need to have fun with the girls.. Only if they weren't here, oh gosh the things we'll do to you" She kisses your neck whilst being held by Nayeon, you let out little whimpers as you felt your older girlfriend's huge hands palming your chest, kneading them firmly and you felt yourself pooling in your panties
"U-Unnies, it's time to eat"
They heard the familiar soft tone of the youngest Japanese from the door with gentle knocks, you rushed ahead and crashed onto Mina. Her gaze widened as she saw you with disheveled hair and a bright mark on your neck, and the fact that the position you were in is quite unusual
"Sorry, Mina-chan.."
"I-It's fine, wanna come and play sand castles??" You got a chance to escape your horny girlfriends so you agreed, rushing out with the confused penguin who waved at the elder members
"Aigoo Jihyo-ah, you scared her"
"She deserved that, unnie.. I do have a plan in mind, though~" Jihyo kissed Nayeon's cheek before changing into comfortable clothes, they headed off to find their lovely girl to find you sitting on the fine sand with Mina and Chaeyoung who had just walked by the shore, having their own moment
"Hey, baby.. Enjoying yourself??"
"Yep!~ I made a house out of sand.." You chirped with a grin, making the bunny kiss you softly with giggles escaping her lips. Her smile falters as you scoot to sit on her lap, back resting on her chest and her hand sneaking inside her trunks
"Y-Yah.. Not me too"
"Oh no, Im.. Is my bunny afraid of getting teased??" You husked against her neck, kissing her soft skin before biting. She looks around for members glancing at them but they had their own pairs and moments together, looking back at you with a glare
"I'll let you off the hook if you- oh g-god, Y/n~" She nuzzles her face onto your shoulder and moaned as you stroked faster, the sight of you two looked like cuddling yet it doesn't seem like it up front
"D-Don't stop, f-fuck.."
"How about...no?" You tucked her cock back inside her trunks and pulled her shirt down, you giggled and hid behind your sister who was busy talking with Tzuyu. Jihyo came to check at Nayeon who was blushing and whimpering, glaring at her
"Fucking damn it.. She gave me blue balls!"
"Much worse than me, I get to cum" The leader shrugs, sipping her beer whilst Nayeon tries to calm herself down but your teasing glances threw her off
"Shut it, I need payback"
"And I got just the thing.." Jihyo reveals a small pink pill, the older girl smirked and slipped in a fizzy soda can before handing it to you
*Drink up, babe.. You must be thirsty"
You giggled and sat on Jihyo's lap, giddily drinking not knowing the melted pill that enters your system. You were busy cuddling your lover when a few minutes passed, you felt your hormones skyrocket badly. And the gaze you were giving Jihyo and Nayeon was too obvious, you want them to ruin you
"Bedroom, five minutes"
The other two smirked wide, following their lover back to their room. You sat, incoherent thoughts swarming your mind and the pill taking effects in a split second
"Hi baby~"
"No, no.. Lay down.." Jihyo places a hand on you, smirking as she pushes you down flat on the mattress and Nayeon stripping off her clothes leaving her in the same hard on you gave her a while ago. She chuckles and ripped your bikini off, revealing your dripping core, your wetness continuously seeping from your folds
"Hah, I guess the plan worked.. Tie her up, we'll show her how teasing is done." Nayeon says to the leader who took several belts and buckled each limb separately, Jihyo blindfolding you as the last touch, and now they glanced at each other for the next part
"To think of it, I dunno why you teased us like that, with the members around even... My dear unnie, she's willing to do anything even if it leaves us hanging"
"Such a naughty brat that you are, you deserve nothing but punishment" Jihyo says, immediately licking up your wet pussy, you couldn't help but cry out as the sensitivity was much more unbearable you came all over the youngest girlfriend's face yet she didn't stop
"Good girl, now do the pleasure, Nayeonie.."
You felt Nayeon's cock rubbing against your folds, but she wasn't slipping in just yet, just testing your patience and see how long can you go
"So wet, I bet you're already wet when you fucking jerked us off.."
"Y-Yes, mother..." You breathed out, almost close to cumming again now that the bunny had pounded into you with a rapid and harsh pace. You couldn't scream, you had to put yourself in your own place, a socket for both of your girlfriends. Jihyo had her own cock down your throat, pounding mercilessly and she had a huge grin on her face now that you're defenseless and horny under them
"Fucking hell... I'm gonna cum"
"Me too, wanna do it together?" Nayeon agrees, going faster as Jihyo, finding themselves dumping their loads inside your holes, filling you both sides with leftovers splattered on you
"Geez, that was..."
"Shut up, I'm not on pills... Stupid assholes" Nayeon's eyes widened, Jihyo too.. Well, that makes them literal mothers then
End.

They used to make this in Australia and they're quite famous they made tons of them and his idea and this is kind of what the zeta car looks like is to make it like this but upgradable and this would be a small version that we would make and you would make a larger one that you can take the panels off and put new panels tires rims suspension and motor and upgrade the interior when you get to it in a package and you can order it this way or you can order it to upgraded way or or the bigger one or the zeta small SUV and later as a larger SUV which would both be utility vehicles and you can order four wheel drive so it's kind of like his recycled motors company idea and it's not Brad's vehicle this would be different and the company is long since gone but it would be something we could do and we want to put it to our personnel and we're going to show you what he means by upgraded. It might not be this model that's upgraded this is going to be the smallest and then they'll be a bigger one and then a medium size and that's it no full size and we'll pump out tons just like in world war two tell people that's why they did it
Thor Freya
Olympus
We have our own versions ours would be a changed VW bug and it's a great idea and we want to use a simple type of technique simply put people here will not drive those and he says it's probably not true but we're going to look at it it's recycled motors company and he says it'll be slightly different body and that's the beauty of it it'll be interchangeable with the same frame now that's ridiculous it's for the future everything will be the same as not true they'll be several companies and replicas would be possible for practically everything it would be fun for people this is very droll we did test it it works good
Black God and black goddess both sides of the family
Olympus
We like the idea it's very nice this is not really a kit car and he says it is and you should be able to order this one too and we're amazed this is a lot of fun so he's saying it would be the recycled motors company new cars and you can also order it from a different division and particular parts to make up a certain car you want that's insane and we could use the base for a whole bunch of kit cars and it's all recycled so we're not using raw materials and we like it

*Thanksgiving at the Nygmobblepot household*
-Oswald sends Ed to address the staff
-Ed reads the paper he's supposed to read to the staff and dies inside
-Oswald thinks its a brilliant idea to make his very tired and very very angry staff work the holiday and not pay them any extra
-Ed decided to toss the paper and take matters into his own hands
-He gives Oswald's staff the rest of the week off starting on Thanksgiving and gives them a bonus
-Staff don't believe Oswald would want that at all but no one is brave enough to call out Ed
-The bonus comes from Ed's own paycheck so Oswald doesn't go ape shit
-Oswald wakes up on Thanksgiving pissed as hell
"Where the fuck is everyone?"
-He smells something in the kitchen and goes to investigate
-Its Ed and he's cooking???
"Ed we have help for this."
"Yeah I sent them home for the week."
"You fucking what?"
"How many times do you have to been shot or stabbed by your own employees before you realize you should maybe treat them better?"
-Oswald doesn't believe Ed will do a good enough job as he wants his mother's cooking. Ed informs him quite angrily that he can infact read a recipe
-When it comes time to eat Oswald takes the first bite and its.... incredible???
"How is it?"
"Its okay... I guess." This asshole can't be good at everything. What the actual hell?
-Ed takes the next bite and his wheels turn
-Without any change in emotion he stands up and scrapes his food into the garbage
"Ed. I was lying. It really is good. Please eat."
"I can do better."
-Ed returns to the kitchen without another word and Oswald quickly follows
-The kitchen is a mess with other failed dishes. How did he miss all this the first time?
-Oswald is stunned
"Hey Eddie?"
"What?"
"How long have you even cooking?"
"Erm. 26 hours."
"Oh."
-Ed needs for things to be perfect and will not stop until he succeeds
-Oswald who only checks on Ed from time to time and reaps the rewards from Ed's hyperfixations has never seen the negative
"Do... do you normally work on things non stop?"
-Ed is very confused by this question
"How can I do other things when I have a problem that I need to solve? I don't have time for breaks."
-It all clicks for Oswald and he realizes how much stress he puts on Ed on a daily basis
I fucked up real bad. How could I know he never told me.... no he tells me constantly. I ignore him. That's why he let the staff go. He understands them. Shit. I need to fix this before he stabs me.
"Ed you can always improve. We'll be here until the end of time until you figure out the perfect combination."
-Ed stops what he's doing and gives Oswald a look of pure hatred
"Are. You. Calling. Me. Stupid?"
Oh no no no no no.
"That's not what I meant! I am simply saying what you made is very good. Better than anyone I know could make, could ever make. You can improve the recipe every year. You don't have to hurt yourself making it perfect. What you're doing isn't healthy. So I am begging you to just eat the wonderful food you've made and sleep. The problem isn't making the best possible dish. The problem was making a good one and you went above that. Your task is done Ed. Please."
"I only need one more try."
"Nope."
"... you really do like it?"
"Yes. I would like to eat it before it gets cold so please go sit down."
"Fine."

I fell in love with Arthur x Tenth Doctor, so a drabble would be great! 😊 Prompt... well, is a ship with the Doc really valid if there's no constant running towards and then running away from danger?
(Also, all action packed scenes should end with a happy/relieved/giddy kiss, imo 😌)
Maybe this can be part of that little story that's been happening here with Arthur and the Doctor on the station I've been writing?
Considering it's a massive space port, there's bound to be seedy things happening in dark corners, and of course the Doctor has to see what's up!
On with the fic!
--
"Is this perfectly normal for you?" Arthur said, his normally calm composure twisted into a bit of panic and mild anger for and at the alien by his side, who was doing something to the mechanics of the Follow-Me Artificial Arthur was attached to.
The sounds of weapons being fired off and shouting was quite loud, and getting closer. They were hidden, yes, but it would only be a matter of time before that group of very dangerous looking individuals would find them.
It had been the Doctor's idea to wander around the port again, with Arthur at his side. When the Time Lord has overheard something about illegal trading in the lower areas of the port, he insisted that they should investigate.
They had found the lower markets, thanks to Arthur having the maps of the port in his programming, and an upgrade from the Doctor to really see the lower markets, and discovered what was being traded. A dangerous, concentrated form of Dark Energy that, in the wrong hands, could be used as a weapon.
The Doctor had made it his mission to stop it from being sold and used, which resulted in a lot of running about (was this normal for the Doctor? He almost seemed thrilled to run around), and meeting quite a number of frightening people who Arthur would never allow into his place of business.
They got the jar of dark matter, which shouldn't exist in the jar, it was dark matter after all, but the Doctor has babbled on about something or another on how it was possible. Arthur hadn't fully listened, as they had to run for their lives. Granted, Arthur could just be reuploaded into a new body if something happened to him, as long as his central processors weren't damaged beyond repair, same with his memory cards, but the Doctor was organic.
It's not like he could get a whole new body like Arthur could.
So, they found themselves, hiding as they were being chased down, with the Doctor doing something to the Follow-Me Assistant. "Doctor, do hurry, they're coming back."
"Hold on, just..." The Doctor said around the sonic screwdriver he held in his teeth, toying with two wires. There was a small spark and he grinned, using the sonic to do something, before closing up the hatch he had been working on. "Arthur, have you ever been held?"
"Aside from you placing me on the bartop, no."
"Have you ever held anyone?"
"I held you up when you were drunk, why?"
"Well, I'm going to need you to hold me in your arms like I held you." The Doctor said as he pocketed both his screwdriver and then the jar into his jacket.
The sounds of the dangerous individuals was louder now, closer, and Arthur decided not to question what the Doctor was asking of him. He scooped the man into his arms, like one would hold another, bridal style, he thought after a quick search of his word banks.
"Alright, I upgraded your speed and power, it'll drain your power in your wheels faster, but we'll be able to get to the upper levels in no time!"
Arthur frowned, but there was a shout, they'd been spotted.
"Hold on, Doctor." Arthur said, and thin arms wrapped around his neck as Arthur's grip on the Doctor tightened. He connected to the wheels, registering the upgrade in just a matter of milliseconds, and they were off.
On his track, Arthur was quite fast, had to be when he had to make a number of orders in a short amount of time, but he had never been this fast before!
The Doctor let out a whoop of excitement, telling Arthur he was brilliant, and something about that made Arthur feel a little lighter. He'd wonder about that later, right now, he had to get to the lift before they were in-
A shot rang out, zipping right past his ear. The skin might have been damaged, but he could replace it. If the Doctor got hit, then he'd be more worried. He turned a corner sharply, nearly tipping over, before slamming down and straightening himself as he continued to drive.
The map in his system told him he was just meters from the lift and the Doctor threw out his hand, now holding the sonic again, and aimed the light at the doors of the lift as it came into view.
They opened and Arthur drove in, slamming into a wall. The Doctor tumbled from his arms and then soniced the control panel, locking them inside before the criminals got to them. The Doctor then made the lift return them to Arthur's proper floor.
The Doctor looked at him, grinning brightly, his hair a mess, he looked crazed, but Arthur couldn't deny that he looked amazing.
"Oh, you were just brilliant, you!" He put his hands on Arthur's face. "Amazing! Fantastic driving, eleven outta ten, would totally recommend again!"
"You-!" Arthur put his own hands to the Doctor's face, glaring at him. "You are the most insane individual to grace my bar! You could have been hurt, you could have been killed, you- you...!"
He looked into those dark, brown eyes and just...
His programming didn't really require this of him, he didn't even think it was in his programming, or his basic nature, but that didn't stop Arthur from pulling the Doctor close, kissing him right then and there in the lift.

Pairing: Keanu Reeves X Reader
Word count: 2.1 K
Summary: Keanu found the girl almost dead, in the wrecks of what was once her car. While she was in surgery, stuck in a coma, he gathered the best doctors of New York to attend to her. They told him she is likely to have some kind of brain damage, what may lead to memory loss. And this possibility added up wit the fact that she's pregnant, made the council come up with an odd idea. They asked Keanu to pretend to be her husband, since the stress of finding out everything that happened could put the baby in danger. He reluctantly agreed, but only if she does has some kind of memory loss. He still goes she'll wake up soon, with her memories intact.
But when you finally wake up, there's nothing inside. You're quick to find your head is empty, void, like a blank canvas. The only thing that brings you some relief, that makes you feel less lonely is the mention of a husband. And you can't wait to meet him, because you know you can't deal with this by yourself.
Next part (02) ->

Deceit
Life has a weird way of turning things around. Of putting people in the most unlikely scenarios, and leaving them on their own to try and figure out what to do next.
Keanu's mind has been restless since the moment he saw the bleeding, unconscious girl inside that wreck of a car, four days ago.
It was on the side of the empty road, and he was just about to drive pass it when something made him stop. Whoever caused it was gone, and there were no words to describe the sting on his chest when he saw her. The next moments happened in such a blur that he still has a hard time trying to put everything together. He remembers carefully lifting the girl's body off the wheel. He remembers checking her heartbeats, so faint and weak. And he surely remembers calling an ambulance and staying there, hoping, praying she wouldn't be just a corpse when they got there.
He couldn't quite see the extension of the damage since he was too scared to move her around. The girl wouldn't wake up, it didn't matter how many times he called, and as time passed, minutes passing by impossibly slow, he felt his heart sinking. Over and over again, he placed two fingers on her neck, just to make sure she was still alive. Her breathing was shallow and fast, and Keanu couldn't even notice in his agitation. There was way too much blood coming from a wound on her forehead, and more staining her light blue blouse. He couldn't believe he'd watch her die, right there before his eyes.
A wave of relief washed over him when the ambulance came, and he watched, helplessly, as they put her on the stretcher, pushing it to the back of the ambulance. A man had spoken to him, he's not sure what, but his legs carried him to the ambulance with her, and there, seated between two paramedics, he looked at the girl, once again praying she'd survive the ride.
She did. She was strong, the doctors said, and had successfully recovered from the two surgeries she had to go through. There was a lot of internal bleeding, they said, and now, the girl was in a coma. And nobody could tell how long it'd take for her to wake up.
But that was four days ago. Today, still at the hospital, Keanu tries to focus on whatever the council of doctors are saying. He had paid for everything, and he wouldn't have anything less than the best health care for the girl. (Y/N), he had found out. A beautiful name, that he thought suited the girl perfectly. Seated on the head of the table, Doctor Wright speaks of her condition, but Keanu's mind has drifted away a while ago.
“Mr. Reeves?” The woman, Alice Harris, gets his attention. She's the psychologist involved. The only reason why she's here is that there was damage on (Y/N)'s brain. There's a sixty percent chance that her memories were affected. They don't know how much yet, but they'll be ready to deal with whatever happens when she finally opens her eyes again. If she ever does. But Keanu won't give this possibility any thoughts. “Are you willing to do this?”
“Do what?” He didn't want to come out as not being interested in this. He was. But he can't pretend he knows what he would be agreeing with.
“Mr. Reeves, I know you're also affected by this. We all can see it. But we need you to have your mind clear.” The surgeon speaks, his hands cupped together, lying above (Y/N)'s papers. “If not, we'll place her under our care until we can contact her mother-in-law.”
“Mother-in-law?” How much of the conversation did Keanu lose?
“Let me.” Dr. Wright says. “Mr. Reeves, we have made some research on our patient's life. (Y/N) had just moved here, and unfortunately, she lost her husband only two weeks ago in a work-related accident.” This time, Keanu pays attention, his eyes focused on the man. “The only other person she has here is a friend named Laura Thompson, and her mother-in-law lives in Argentina, Lucia Davis. A few friends from her hometown, but nobody else. Nobody here who can help her through... Her condition.”
“There's still a chance she'll remember, right? Forty percent.” Keanu could only imagine what it'd be like. He'd never wished that on anyone, waking up one day with nothing inside. No record of who you were before. And he didn't want this for her. Not after what she's been through. “If she's alright then–”
“It wasn't about this condition I was talking about.” He cuts off, sighing and exchanging a glance with the neurologist. “Mr. Reeves, (Y/N) is three weeks pregnant.”
There's a sudden buzz on Keanu's ears, as his brain tries to process what he just heard. He's quick to make the math though. Three weeks pregnant, lost her husband two weeks ago... She was just starting to plan everything, probably just about to break the news to him or the family, and then, he died. That was probably the reason for her accident. Driving fast, tears clouding her sight, wondering what she'd do now, all alone, with a kid on the way. “Everything you need me to do, I will. I'll pay for anything she needs, it doesn't matter how much.” The words flow out, almost a living thing.
“Dr. Harris raises a hand to stop Dr. Wright, who was just about to say something. “Mr. Reeves, as we already said, we fear that our patient will have some kind of memory loss if she wakes up. And people on her position are always scared, and the feeling of being lost may drive them into self-destructive behaviors.” The woman speaks slow, and Keanu sighs. He's suddenly angry, wanting people to just spit everything out so he can understand what's going on and decide what to do with it. Bouncing his leg under the table, he nods, urging her to continue. “In that scenario, knowing about a pregnancy can make things take a bad turn, and even put the unborn child in danger.”
“What will you have me do?” He bursts out, impatiently. “If you need another specialist, or transfer her to some other hospital, do it.”
“What we need is far more complicated than that.” She continues. “A little unusual, but I believe it will work.” She takes a deep breath, fixing her glasses. “Mr. Reeves, we need you to introduce yourself as being (Y/N)'s husband.”
“What?” He inquires, unable to believe his ears.
“If she wakes up–”
“When.” Keanu is quick to correct her, his voice letting it show how anxious he is.
“When, forgive me.” Dr. Harris mutters. “It will be better if she has someone close. And a husband, since she's with child, will certainly give her peace of mind until... Until she remembers. If she remembers and if she does have a memory loss in the first place.”
Keanu looks down at his hands, resting on the wooden table before him. He should say no. This is way too much, too much of a crazy idea to follow up. But these are the best doctors money could pay for, and he did say he'd do anything that could help her. But he'd never thought this would be what she needed. There was no other option to him, that much was obvious, even if he didn't want to admit it right way. “Alright then.” He agrees, nodding.
“Good. We'll contact her friend and mother-in-law to let them know about this.” Dr. Wright says, getting up. “I'll need you to attend some meetings, Mr. Reeves, there will be some things we'll need to discuss.”
“Sure.” As if he hasn't been coming to the hospital every day to visit the girl.
The days start passing a little faster now, as Keanu meets up with the psychologist to make things ready in case she wakes up. They said there's no need to rush, that it may take several weeks, months even... But Keanu won't share their skepticism. He believes she's coming back soon, so he'll have everything in place for the biggest lie he'd ever tell. He has the excuses in place, the backstory, everything. He even has the fake ring already, and he never felt so bad as he did when buying it. But still, he carries it in his pocket every time he goes visit her, hoping she'll wake up.
Two weeks have passed, and today, as usual, Keanu looks through the open blinders, his eyes set on her sleeping figure. (Y/N) looks so peaceful in his eyes, as if she's simply sleeping. He can't help but admire her beauty, even in a simple hospital gown, with her hair a little messy, she looks pretty. His eyes drift a little, all the way to her stomach. It's still flat, but he knows there's life in there, growing. A life that will need their mother. “C'mon, (Y/N). Wake up.” Keanu mutters, his voice barely a whisper.
After a few more minutes, he leaves, walking slowly through the hospital, all the way to his car in the underground parking lot. On the drives seat, he looks at the wheel, the door still open, and he thinks. About everything at the same time. The wrecked car, the blood, the girl, the pregnancy, the lie... It all comes flooding his mind as he runs a hand through his dark hair. He's so drowned in his head that he almost doesn't hear the phone ring. But when he does, Keanu easily finds it in his pocket, not even looking at the screen before picking up. “Hello.” He mutters, ready to dismiss whoever it is. He needs to go home, to sleep, to put his mind in place.
“Mr. Reeves. She's awake.”

You still can't put things together. The woman has been talking you through it since yesterday morning when you crawled back into consciousness. She told you everything. How you ended up here, to begin with, but it doesn't matter how hard you try, you can't remember it. In fact, you can't remember anything. When you began to freak out yesterday, a nurse came and gave you something that now forced you to calm down. So you just lie there, staring at Dr. Harris as she tries to help you. But she's failing because your mind is completely empty. The tears keep rolling down, one after the other, and it doesn't matter how much you dry them, more come soon after.
How is it even possible? How can someone lose everything they were? Everything they had? Shaking your head no, you close your eyes shut, not wanting to listen anymore. Her questions remain unanswered because you just don't know the answer them. The only reason you know your name and age is because she told you. But all the rest... It's a mystery. It's gone.
“I can't.” You mutter, running a hand through your forehead. “I can't remember. You're not helping.” Crying again, you bite back a sob. “Please, just... Don't I have anyone? Parents? Friends? Anyone... I...” You can't be alone in the world. There has to be someone, a familiar face who will bring something back.
“You're parents passed away when you were young, sweetie.” She says, and another sob erupts from your mouth. “But you have a husband.”
You're not sure how you feel about it, with too many conflicted sentiments flooding your heart. But you do feel... Relieved? You're not alone. There's someone who could help you through, who knows you. “I-is he here?” You stutter. “Can I see him?”
“Sure.” She stands up from the armchair she positioned next to your bed. “I'll call him.”
Nodding, your eyes are on her back as she leaves. Using the bed's remote control, you move it up until you're in a seating position. The minutes go by and you're still alone. The blinders are closed, so you can only see shadows passing by. Maybe he got tired of waiting. Maybe he–.
“(Y/N).” The strong, deep voice calling your name gets your attention, and your eyes find the man standing some feet away from the bed. He's... Gorgeous. Tall, with long dark hair, which falls on his face, hiding his eyes a little. His beard gives him an atmosphere of mystery but makes him even more handsome.
Is that him? Are you really married to this man? “Are you...” The words fail you, and your voice fades.
“I'm Keanu Reeves. Your husband.”

Summary: You and your boyfriend Hunter have a fun night in after picking up Omega from soccer practice
(I don't usually write smut but it kinda just happened and I shocked myself with it lol)
Fic under the cut
You and Hunter were preparing your shopping list for the grocery store, going through the cupboards, seeing what was running low.
"I have an idea!" Hunter said.
"What is it?" You ask.
"You know you've wanted to have another date night, but we also have Omega tonight?"
"Yea" you respond. Omega was shared between Hunter and his brothers. She typically lives with Hunter but the others also get her throughout the week. She just spent Friday and Saturday with Tech and Wrecker, who recently moved out into their own apartment. You had a feeling that Tech thought the house was too full now that you were living there too. She also spent some time with Crosshair on Wednesday but his schedule was quite busy so she only spent time with him whenever he was not on a business trip.
"We should have a fun night in, we make some food, watch movies with Omega until she gets tired, and then after she goes to sleep, we can have our own movie date," Hunter said, as he hugged you from behind.
"That sounds like a great idea!" You say, turning your head to place a kiss on his cheek.
"We'll go pick up some stuff to make our favourite nachos, and some popcorn for Omega along with the rest of our groceries, then pick her up from soccer practice at 6:30, get her some dinner, and then we change into our PJs and watch movies," Hunter said. An ear-to-ear grin formed on his face as he described the plan. You smiled back as you felt some heat enter your cheeks. You then check your watch.
"Let's head out then, seeing as it's 5:30 and it takes us 20 minutes to get to the grocery store," you say.
"Yea, we should," Hunter said as he got the grocery note and the keys.
-------------
You got into the passenger seat while Hunter took the wheel. You plugged your phone into the AUX and started to play your favourite music.
"I didn't expect all this traffic at 5:30 on a Sunday night," Hunter remarked.
"Me neither," you said as you looked out the front window at all the cars.
"BUDDY! COME ON!" Hunter frustratedly said at the slow driver in front of him.
"Who does 45 kilometers an hour in a 70 zone?!" Hunter said.
"That guy apparently," you said as Hunter pulled into the other lane and passed him.
The rest of the drive to the store was relatively peaceful as Hunter's road frustration faded. He found a place to park and he breathed a sigh of relief.
"Happy to be off the main road?" you asked.
"Yes! I hate slow and incompetent drivers," Hunter said as he turned off the car. The two of you got out, took your bags, and went into the store.
"What's on our list?" you ask as Hunter gets a cart.
"We need chicken, milk, popcorn, peppers, some fruit, yogurt, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and tortilla chips," Hunter said, reading off the note.
"Sounds like a plan," you say as Hunter walks closely behind you, pushing the cart as you start looking for the various items. You start in the produce section where you get your peppers and some of Omega's favourite fruits. She was in a strawberry phase lately so you made sure you picked up strawberries.
"We need to get her something new too," Hunter said.
You noticed some blackberries nearby.
"Has she tried blackberries?" you ask, gesturing towards the half-pint of blackberries that are on sale.
"I don't think," Hunter said as he saw them too.
"Let's get them," you said.
"Ok," Hunter said as he let you put it into the cart.
You then proceed into the aisle with chips in it.
"One-stop shop it seems," you remark as you see chips, popcorn, and salsa in the same aisle.
"Mild or medium?" Hunter asks as he looks at the salsas.
"Medium, I need a little kick damn it," you say.
Hunter chuckles. "Remember the last time we had medium salsa?" he asks, clearly teasing you.
"No, nothing out of the ordinary happened," you insisted.
"Pretty sure last time you were begging for milk because it was too spicy," Hunter said as he stepped closer to you.
You knew what he was referring to but you decided to take it in an entirely different direction.
"Are you referring to the outcome of our last movie date?" you ask with a smug look on your face.
Hunter's cheeks turned bright red.
"Uh, well" Hunter said, not sure how to finish that sentence. You knew that was not the direction he was taking it. The last time you had medium salsa was a while before your last movie date with Hunter. You tried it for the first time and couldn't handle the spice. The outcome of your last movie date, however, was certainly not appropriate to discuss in a public setting such as aisle 1 of a grocery store.
"Don't tell me you're trying to make a sexual innuendo out of that," Hunter whispered.
You simply smirked and winked at him.
"Let's just say that two can play that game, cyar'ika," Hunter whispered as he put medium salsa into the cart and started to take the cart further down the aisle to get some popcorn. Your cheeks soon matched the colour of Hunter's. You can't help it but you also can't explain why when he says that word, you become putty in his hands. Especially after you learned what that word means. It did something to you, in a good way of course.
You catch up to him as he is looking at the prices of the popcorn.
"Should we buy the bigger package or the smaller one?" Hunter asked.
"The bigger one is obviously the better deal," you say.
"Yea but we don't use a lot of popcorn," Hunter said.
"It's not like popcorn is a perishable item though," you counter.
"True," Hunter says as he puts the bigger package into the cart.
Your next stop was the meat and dairy sections of the store. You pick up a package of fresh chicken breasts. It was bigger than what you needed for your nachos but you were going to use it for meal prep for the week. You tried to bring lunch from home as much as possible to work, and you were hoping to pass that way of thinking to Hunter too.
Once you got to the dairy section, you were disappointed to see that the yogurt you and Hunter like is not in stock.
"Damn," you say as you look at the empty shelf.
"You got that right," Hunter says.
"I guess we'll need to look somewhere else for it another time," you say.
"True, just not tonight," Hunter says while chuckling.
"Yea," you reply as you pick up the sour cream and Hunter picks up the milk.
"Last item, cheese," you say as you proceed further down the dairy section and find a block of cheddar cheese on sale.
"Let's get this checked in," Hunter says as you proceed to a self-checkout.
You get out of the store in record time. Bless those self-checkouts, you thought as you got into the car. The next stop was to pick up Omega from soccer practice.
The traffic seemed to calm down a bit while you were in the grocery store, with the main roads only about half as busy. It took no time to get to the field that Omega goes to for practice.
"Just in time," Hunter said as he looked at the clock in the car, 6:20. You got out of the car to join some of the other parents who had just gotten there to pick up their kids. You could tell that Hunter was feeling a bit anxious. All the other parents, you could tell were actually the parents of their kids while Hunter was in a different situation. He and his brothers took up the mantle of caring for Omega because their mother works so much and their dad died before she was born. It's gotten so bad that Hunter and his brothers were made her guardians and their mother only shows she's involved by sending Hunter, his brothers, and Omega money. While Hunter was quite a bit older than his sister, he wasn't quite old enough to be her dad without someone questioning his age when she was born. Hunter was 17 when she was born and she's 8 now.
"Hunter!" Omega called out after her practice ended.
"Hey kid," Hunter said as he collected her.
"How was practice?" he asked as the three of you went back to the car.
"It was good. I scored a goal today!"
"Really? That's awesome! Wanna get a happy meal to celebrate?" Hunter said.
"YES YES YES!" Omega said.
"Glad to hear it, let's get to McDonald's," Hunter said.
"Hi, welcome to McDonald's. What can I get for you?"
"Hi, can I get a McNugget happy meal," Hunter said into the drive-thru window.
"Yep, would you like the girl toy or the boy toy?"
"Which one do you want?" you whispered to Omega.
"Boy toy!" she said.
"She wants the boy toy," you relay to Hunter.
"Boy toy please," Hunter said.
"Great, your total is $5.51, drive through."
"You get to the first window.
"I can pay," you offer.
"No, I'm paying," Hunter insisted.
"You just paid for groceries, I can pay," you said but it was too late, Hunter had already tapped his card. Looking at you the entire time with a smug look on his face.
You rolled your eyes as he pulled up to the second window and got the food. Omega was elated to get her nuggets and fries and immediately started eating them.
"Mind giving Hunter a fry?" Hunter asked.
"I do mind," Omega said as she kept eating her fries. You laugh as she says this and she joins in.
"Wow thanks," Hunter said sarcastically before saying "it's a long walk home," referencing that he's driving the car. You knew he wasn't being serious based on his tone of voice. He was just playing around.
Omega had finished her meal by the time you three got back home.
"Make sure you bring your garbage in," Hunter reminded Omega as he turned off the car.
-------------------------------
Once you got into the house, Omega got into the shower while you and Hunter changed into your pajamas. Hunter quickly changed into his favourite pajamas, a black t-shirt with dull red camo pajama pants while you sifted through your pajama only to put on a pair of white shorts and a bright red t-shirt that had a faded logo of something on it. Omega still wasn't done in the shower when you both changed so you went downstairs and started making the nachos.
Your nachos called for grilled chicken breast that was liberally seasoned, diced bell peppers (colour doesn't matter), onions, jalapenos, and of course, lots of cheese. You started the chicken and grated the cheese while the chicken cooked. Meanwhile Hunter prepped the veggies. Hunter stole a few shreds of cheese before you smacked them out of his hands.
"Hey!"
"That's for the nachos!" you replied.
"Party pooper," Hunter said with a pout.
"It's better melted, trust me," you said.
Once the chicken was just cooked, you got the sheet pan ready with parchment paper and made a layer of chips. You put a thin first layer of cheese before adding the chicken.
"You got the veggies ready?" you asked.
"Just about," Hunter said.
Hunter then added the prepped veggies before you added a much thicker layer of cheese on top before sticking it into the oven.
"I love cooking with you," Hunter said as he wrapped his arms around your waist.
"Me too, when you and your big appetite aren't stealing some of the ingredients," you joked.
"You clearly haven't seen Wrecker's appetite."
"Fair enough," you replied.
"You know you love me anyways," Hunter said.
"I do," you said as Hunter left a few kisses on your neck.
You giggled as you heard Omega come downstairs. You pulled away from one another immediately.
"You wanna watch some movies wiht us?" Hunter asked.
Omega nodded her head.
"You want some nachos with us or do you want some popcorn?" Hunter then asked.
"Popcorn!" she said.
You smiled. You thought the kid was so cute sometimes.
Hunter put a bag of popcorn into the microwave, entering the time it says on the bag.
"Wanna help pick out a movie?" You asked.
"Sure!" Omega replied as you and her went to the couch and turned on the TV. You let her pick which streaming service she wanted. Of course she picked the one that had the most kids movies. Omega had her own kid friendly profile on every service you were subscribed to. She picked the same movie she always picks.
You got up for a minute to check on the nachos.
"I bet you can't guess what movie we're watching," you say, teasingly.
"It's the one about the lions again, isn't it?"
"Yep," you said as the microwave beeped. The popcorn was ready.
"I'll bring the popcorn in, you watch the nachos?" you ask.
"Sounds good babe," Hunter said as you emptied the popcorn bag into Omega's favourite bowl. This bowl was white with red stripes all over it. You think it might have been a Christmas bowl at some point with the candy cane like aesthetic. You put the bowl on the coffee table, closer to Omega in order to make room for the sheet pan of nachos. Hunter brings in bowls of sour cream and salsa before going back into the kitchen. You hear the oven open, meaning that he's bringing in the nachos.
"Wanna put on the movie?" you ask Omega.
"Yep!" she says as she picks up the remote and puts on her favourite movie.
Hunter sets the sheet pan down and sits on the right edge of the couch and puts his arm around you. You looked over at Omega, who seemed to be enjoying the opening scenes of the movie while eating her popcorn. You left Hunter's arms to take some nachos.
"mmmm" you quietly said as you ate your first bite.
"You're quite the cook," you whisper.
"Will there be any kisses for the cook tonight?" he whispers back.
"Maybe later," you say with a wink.
About a half hour later, Hunter noticed that Omega was out of popcorn but was looking at the nachos.
"Want some nachos?" he whispers.
Omega tried the nachos but didn't seem to be a fan of the peppers and picked them off.
Once the nachos were all gone you snuggled into Hunter for the rest of the movie. He kept his arm around you, rubbing your shoulder every once in a while, presumably to keep his hand from falling asleep. You rested your head on his shoulder and he started to play with your hair.
--------------------------------
The movie ended about 1 hour and 40 minutes later, after which Omega wanted to go to sleep.
Hunter went upstairs with Omega while you cleaned up all the food. You groaned at the thought of washing dishes so you put them in the dishwasher instead and turned it on.
"That's a job well done," you say before heading back into the living room.
Hunter soon proceeded downstairs.
"You put her to bed?" you asked.
"Yea, she was quite tired after soccer practice and a movie," Hunter said.
"I'd say, hopefully she gets enough sleep so that she won't be tired at school tomorrow,"
"I hope," Hunter says as he sits back on the couch with you.
You pick up the remote and went into your own profile. Scrolling through movies before you and Hunter finally agreed on one. It was an action movie about a superhero. As the movie starts, Hunter wraps his arm around you while you rest your head on his chest.
Hunter kisses your forehead. You look up at him and kiss him on the lips.
"Finally some kisses for the cook?" Hunter asks.
"You betcha!" You said as you raised your self to be closer to Hunter's level to make kissing him a bit easier. He kept his arm around you but lowered it slightly so that his hand was toying with the bottom of your shorts. You run your hand through his hair as he moves his hand under your shorts, massaging your butt.
"Someone's feeling a little frisky tonight," you remark as you adjust your positioning to be straddling him. He allows this, guiding your legs into position.
"How can I not be?" he says once you're in the desired position.
His cheeks are growing redder as his hands explore your body. He has one hand holding your waist while the other is making its way under your shirt. He plays with your tits for a few minutes before moving that hand to your waist too. He holds onto you as he plants some kisses to your neck. You softly moan as his lips hit all the sensitive spots that he knows gets you off. He leaves your neck as you coax him back up to kiss you on the lips again. Neither of you hold back with the kiss, exploring one another with your lips and tongues.
Once you pull away from one another, you remove your shirt. Hunter collects the shirt and throws it on the floor before taking off his own shirt, with your asssistance. Your legs start to hurt from being bent for a while. Hunter notices this.
"Wanna switch around?" he asks.
You nod your head as the two of you get up from the couch. You get back onto the couch, this time laying down while he finds his way between your legs, placing himself on top of you.
He kisses your lips for a bit longer before going lower. His lips move to your neck, then your chest. He stays there for a few minutes, kissing your tits and using his hands to get you off. You could tell that he liked pleasing you. Every time he tried something, he gauged your reaction and continued accordingly. You could also feel him getting harder against your pelvis.
He moved towards your stomach and soon reached your pelvis. He put his hand down your shorts and searched for your clit. You'd admit that he wasn't perfect at finding it but at least he tried. You removed his hand for a minute to take off your shorts and throw them to the floor as he did with your shirt. You soon tugged at his pants strings.
"Go ahead cyar'ika", he said.
"You know I like it when you call me that," you admit.
"That's why I do it," he whispered.
You take off his pants and put them on the floor with your own clothes. He moves your panties to the side and starts kissing you more. You moan softly as he does that, tyring not to be too loud as to not wake Omega. Instead you ran your hands through Hunter's hair, grabbing some of it.
Hunter chuckled before saying, "I see someone is enjoying themselves."
He puts your panties back where they're supposed to be once you decide to return the favour. You pull down his underwear and let your lips and tongue do the work with your hands being of assistance at times. He too softly moaned as your tongue hit a sensitive spot.
"How does that feel, cyar'ika?" you ask. Hunter chuckles and you soon realize that you kinda butchered the pronouciation.
"I butchered that, didn't I?"
"Yea but I like it, maybe I can teach you the proper pronounciation sometime," Hunter said.
"I'd like that," you said as you moved upwards from your current position, placing your head level with Hunter's.
"I'm sure you would, cyar'ika," Hunter said as he kissed you on the lips once again.
You then removed each other's underwear. Hunter teases you for a few moments before giving you what you want. You wrap your legs around him as he moves in and out of you.
However, the couch is nowhere near the size of your bed and as you move around to change positions, you fall off the couch. Hunter soon also falls and lands next to you, moving the coffee table slightly so that he didn't hit it.
"Hopefully Omega didn't hear that," you say as you lay next to Hunter.
"I don't think she did, she's sound asleep by now," Hunter said.
The two of you then laugh at the predicament.
"You wanna keep going?" you ask.
"Definitely," Hunter said as he sat himself up against the couch. You decide to straddle him once again. You position yourself onto him while he pulls some couch cushions down and places two under your knees. He places his hands on your ass as you control the pace this time. He raised his legs to make you and him more comfortable. You lean down to kiss him. He reciprocates the gesture, meeting you halfway. The kiss becomes pretty deep before he pulls away and out.
He soon finishes, with your assistance. You sit on the floor next to him afterward.
"It seems this movie night ended similarly to last movie night," you comment.
"I certainly don't mind this outcome," Hunter comments.
"Of course you don't you dog," you tease.
"Don't lie, you're just as naughty," Hunter teases back.
"We should probably clean this up and go to bed," you say.
"I couldn't agree more," he says as the two of you get up.
The curtains are closed so you don't mind not putting your clothes back on as you and Hunter repositon the coffee table and put the cushions back properly before heading upstairs and quickly heading to your room. The two of you then get into bed. You lay on your side and Hunter soon joins, spooning you. You turn your head around to face him for a moment. He leans in and kisses you softly.
"Good night cyar'ika".
"You're gonna keep calling me that now, aren't you?"
"Yep. Goodnight. I love you."
"Goodnight, I love you too," you say as you begin to drift off to sleep.

Hello TWEWY fandom, it's meta time.
TWEWY is filled to the brim with symbolism and hidden meanings, as we all know. Even the partners and their colors when they sync with Neku; I realized, have some depth, and I'm going to articulate my thoughts on it. This is going to be long, so get cozy.
Shiki
Tumblr media
Let's start with the first partner we get. Her theme's red, and Neku's is blue. Before we even delve into this analysis, let's unpack the general symbolism of the colors themselves, because that is important as well.
Red: passion, love, anger, energy, courage
Blue: trust, loyalty, wisdom, intelligence, stability
These two colors are essentially on the opposing sides of the color wheel as well; the only shade darker than blue is purple (which is Neku's theme of his attire but that's not important rn stay with me fellas)
Red & blue are portrayed as opposites in a plethora of media and this is no exception: Shiki is the extroversion to Neku's introversion, the pathos to his logos, bubbly and chipper vs his stoic and reserved demeanor. Neku is outwardly hateful (towards other people and his circumstances), and Shiki is inwardly hateful (she hates herself to the point she doesn't think there's anything special about her)
As expected, they clash vehemently at first. Neku is extremely irritated by Shiki's energy and she is frustrated with how aloof and mean he can be. But as they get to know each other, they become like yin and yang; and Shiki's kinder qualities begin to rub off on Neku which he exhibits in the following weeks. Red is often symbolic of love; and Shiki shows a lot of it: she's very friendly and amiable, sympathizing with total strangers and getting along with almost everyone; but she's pretty feisty too- she gets visibly upset when Neku ignores her and makes himself difficult and she's not afraid to call him out (and she DOES, quite a few times). However, she is still overall kind to him, even when he's prickly; trying her best to be patient with him and her gentleness eventually wins him over.. eventually.
When confronted with an issue, Shiki seems to lean towards the emotional aspects of the matter, such as when Ai and Mina were at odds, she hesitated to bring the truth to light because she didn't want to jeopardize their friendship and emotional wellbeing; in contrast to Neku who wanted the truth to be brought to light as soon as possible because he felt that lying was wrong and it needed to be addressed sooner, rather than later, or things would just get worse. Or when 777 couldn't find his tech, Shiki listened to him vent out of sympathy while Neku agreed to help because of the logical results it'd bring-
Shiki is also very outwardly emotional: she's very chirpy but she also isn't afraid to openly express her sorrow, anger, or fear, and sometimes she gets overcome by her emotions. But for the most part, she exhibits high emotional intelligence and understanding of other's feelings; and she's essentially the group's moral support: she's one of the most verbal about being sure that they'll make it back and that they all need to work together. Shiki is also extremely passionate; about other people, about the things she creates, it spills into virtually every aspect of her life.
The sad thing though, is that Shiki seems to love everybody but herself, and we see tiny glimpses of this in her small moments of passiveness (such as telling Neku he doesn't have to shout when he snaps at her) On the flip side, Neku's blunt honesty gives Shiki the inner strength to not only face her self-hatred; but overcome it. And that brings me to Shiki's other color: green. You can see it in her stickers + it's her nickname in Another Day.
Green: nature, rebirth, growth, harmony, healing
I believe that this choice is two-fold: green also symbolizes envy and jealousy and this is something that Shiki's character battles with. She wants to be like Eri- beautiful, smart, charismatic; to the point she even tells Neku that she emulated Eri's personality at first because she was so excited to be in her body. But she then realized that she wasn't Eri, and would never be; nor did she ever want to be. What Shiki truly wanted was to love herself: and that's what her character arc encapsulates; a journey of self-acceptance and self-love.
When we finally get to see real game Shiki, she's wearing green because she's a new person, hence the themes of rebirth and harmony: she's confident and happy in who she is; and so the green changes from the negative connotations of jealousy and envy to the positives of steadiness and self-harmony. There's also healing, for both her and Neku: she helped him to open up emotionally and become gentler, and he helped her accept herself. We don't get to see her face because it doesn't really matter: as Neku himself said, "You'll always be Shiki." It's her character that is important, not her appearance. Green is also red's complementary color, and we see that rather than doing a complete 180 in personality, Shiki just gets a little milder. She's not quite as bubbly, but a lot of her passion is still there, it's just gentler.
In short, Shiki is Neku's opposite. They're like night and day: completely different, but inseparable.
Let's talk about Neku a while now, shall we? His color choice seems contradictory given his personality when we meet him: he is extremely distrusting, volatile and aloof. The thing is though, Neku's arc is also about growth and while he does not exhibit any of the traits of his color scheme at first; during the entirety of the game, he regains himself. Neku's character is about relearning how to trust people and not being afraid to be open and accept different points of view and values- and that diversity is good and healthy! During his first week with Shiki, we get very small glimpses of how emotional Neku actually is, particularly through inner monologue.
When Rhyme is erased, he's distraught (his thoughts tell us he feels awful) but he masks it with blunt logic ("Because we couldn't. That's how it was meant to be"), perhaps to avoid showing vulnerability, even declaring teaming up is a dumb idea- because people get hurt and there are situations where there's nothing you can do about it. Neku's rant when Shiki declares that Beat and Rhyme were their friends takes us right into his psyche:
"Who needs friends?! They just laugh and talk like idiots and pretend to agree with you- so you end up caring about them….exposing yourself...getting HURT..Screw it! We're better off without them! You want other people getting in your way? Dragging you down? I don't!"
And suddenly, Neku's prickliness makes sense- he views attachment as painful and vulnerability as a risk, and so he vehemently avoids them. He's mean because he's hurting and he's sad: and how fitting, as one of the negative connotations for blue is sorrow and grief. Remember how I said Neku didn't exhibit any traits of blue? Well, that was specifically for the positive ones.
Negative symbolism of blue: coldness, aloofness, lack of emotion, unfriendliness, sorrow
And that's Neku to a tee: at first, anyway. While his behavior is not justifiable, it is understandable.
When Shiki snaps at him and tells him that he's inhuman Neku doesn't show any outward response during the actual conflict, but the next day when she apologizes his sprite changes to the "sad turtle" and we get to see his thoughts again:
That I was no better than a Reaper…
Rhyme…
……………
Well...right now…
Neku proceeds to tell Shiki that they need to focus on the mission, and she agrees. While he isn't being especially friendly with her, it's leaps and bounds from his initial open hostility: he's more willing to work with Shiki towards a common goal and one could argue this is when his paradigm shift begins- her comment rattled him a lot, and Neku makes baby steps to change. The daily mission (which involves helping two friends address a misunderstanding) gives us more development for him, too. At this point, he still doesn't think conflicting views and values are a good thing and that relationships only hold him back; and he voices to Shiki that he doesn't see the point of friendships built on falsehoods (which is an excellent point and one that she actually agrees with) and we get to see one of Neku's good qualities: he values truth and honesty a lot.
She asks him if he truly thinks that people are better off without friends, and when he doesn't answer; Shiki talks about how meeting Eri made her want to be her best self (which is how ALL healthy relationships should be, whether platonic or romantic). She mourns Rhyme again, venting that it isn't fair she'll never know what dreams are like and this time, Neku doesn't deflect. He sympathizes, and for the first time since entering the game, allows himself to be emotionally vulnerable:
"I know. I…. I'm sad too. We'll just have to live a little extra. For her sake."
From this point onward, Neku begins to grow positively, slowly but surely. He's not friends with Shiki yet, but he feels safe enough in her company to not only express sorrow but caring enough to encourage her to keep pressing forward; for Rhyme's sake. The next day Shiki is quiet and sad due to being confronted on her self-hatred, and Neku doesn't know how to deal with her lack of cheeriness. But instead of being annoyed with her like before, he's visibly concerned and wondering what's wrong; and he tries to engage with her as much as possible: asking for her viewpoint on the daily mission and what they should do, etc. When he learns the truth about Shiki's identity, Neku just listens patiently and afterwards, his monologue is much more positive and understanding:
All this time..she's been as confused as me.
He now realizes that she's just as scared and upset as he is and he empathizes with that, going even further to say that "I like you the way you are" when Shiki expresses fear in being brought back due to her underlying jealousy: he appreciates her, every aspect of her; not because she's perfect, but just for who she is. Later on when Shiki hesitates to scan Eri and runs away Neku gives her the push to do so: as said earlier, he values the truth, and he knows that Shiki needs to face it if she's going to improve as a person- and we see him beginning to exhibit his wisdom. He's not really gentle, but his honesty is needed. When Shiki begins comparing herself to Eri and self-deprecating, he intervenes, in his own way:
"Oh, would you cut the crap? Who ARE you? You're you. You're not Eri. You'll never be Eri. You'll only ever be you."
Neku reiterates what Shiki told him earlier, about never wanting to be Eri, but he goes a step further. She only went as far as to say she wanted to love herself, but that she never could; while Neku asserts to her that being herself is absolute and unchangeable. Shiki mildly protests this though, saying that Eri is "so much better". To her, while she does value her identity the most, Eri's identity makes her feel inferior. She wants to be her own self, but Eri, in her eyes, is perfect, something that she cannot achieve. And that is why Neku's reply is so important.
"Forget her! You need to live your own life. If she can do it, so can you. All that matters is that you try. You're lucky you're jealous. It gives you something to shoot for. So..shoot."
Up to this point, Shiki has measured the worth of her identity based upon comparison to others, and Neku understands that and tells her upfront  that she needs to stop trying to be somebody that she isn't and be confident in her own self, and just do her best- and that'll be enough. He also encourages her to use her jealousy in a productive way, to find her niche; her drive. This gives Shiki the courage to go back and listen to what Eri has to say, and in doing this she hears her friend praise her positive traits, ones that Shiki herself most likely never even realized: her empathy and love for people, her eye for detail, her skill in creating things, her passion and motivation-
ALL things, that according to Eri, "I don't have." And Shiki finally understands that Eri saw her as her equal and that who she is, is valued. Of course, a few positive reinforcements is not enough to do a 180 from most likely years of self-hatred, and so she asks Neku again if she's okay the way she is; and his reply shows yet more growth:
"Hey, Shibuya's got room for all types."
This is a STARK contrast to his dialogue when we first meet him- "All the world needs is me," "You have your values, and I have mine," etc. Neku valued his identity, but he took it to the extreme in that he ONLY valued his identity, values, and morals. After meeting Shiki though, his viewpoint changes a bit and at this point Neku now appreciates diversity- he's still not at the point that he feels he can understand other people, but he at least doesn't see conflict of morals as a bad thing anymore. And in turn, this gives Shiki the inner strength to want to go back to the RG and start afresh. He gives her one last push to go back when she hesitates since she was the only one granted a second chance, with the promise to see her again; and in just a week, Shiki goes from being the biggest pain in Neku's side to his biggest motivation for surviving the second game and one of his best friends.
Joshua
Tumblr media
Another week, another partner.
What's interesting about Joshua is that he is also blue, just a lighter shade. While Shiki is Neku's opposite, Joshua is more akin to his shadow- a mirror, of sorts.
Light Blue: peace, serenity, ethereal, spiritual, infinity
Josh and Neku are extremely similar, but their personalities still converge at enough points that they're starkly different: their tempers especially are a separating point as Neku is much snappier than Joshua (especially if provoked), and despite Josh being represented by a lighter color, in a lot of ways, he symbolizes his partner's negative traits in even more extreme ways in a subversion to expectations; a "darker" version of him, in a sense.
When they first meet, these two also clash, but for entirely different reasons. Joshua's attitude, as well as his dodginess, pisses Neku off immensely. While his first week with Shiki is about relearning how to build trust, his second week is a test of said trust by giving him a partner very similar to his former self: distant, aloof, uncaring. It gets especially tricky when Neku scans Joshua and sees himself dead, and he begins to distance himself again; deciding that there is no way that he can trust him- and not only that, but that it'd be ridiculous to do so. Neku senses something is off: he doesn't know what it is, but it unsettles him enough that he is steadfast in his decision to keep Josh at arm's length.
...Until he and Josh visit Mr. Hanekoma, and upon learning that his teammate and Mr. H are acquainted, Neku decides that perhaps Joshua isn't as bad as he initially thought: but he's still pretty hesitant; and understandably so. Mr. H gives him some backstory of his partner, and his motives start to come to light - turns out, Joshua has been able to see the game while living, and that alienated him from other people since Hanekoma was the only one he could confide in. Just like with Neku, this doesn't justify his behavior, but it does make it understandable: Josh pushes away people by playfully antagonizing them and making himself difficult, and Neku pushes them away through hostility.
When he and Josh visit Udagawa, they connect on both not doing well in groups and Joshua comments that they're more alike than he thought, which leads into a conversation about people not being able to understand each other as long as they have their own worlds and Neku begins to backslide a little:
"Right? They're them, and I'm me. Talking to them gets me nothing."
He goes on to say he respects CAT and their philosophy about doing your own thing and how he needs to just enjoy his life and forget about others, and Josh agrees. While Shiki is Neku's friend, she is the exception, not the norm, and Neku still doesn't trust most people. However, when Josh expresses not needing other people's values, Neku's reply is interesting. He agrees outwardly, but it's hesitant, as if he's unsure of himself.
"Yeah..."
His inner thoughts show us that once again, he is changing.
But...I don't feel that way anymore. Since coming to the UG, reading people's minds- Shibuya's full of people with just as many viewpoints. Mr. H said the world ends with me. To expand my world, I have to learn to look farther- not write off other people's values as inferior.
….Maybe I had it backwards. Maybe I need to open up to really enjoy-
Josh calls him and snaps him out of his thoughts so we don't know what he was going to think next, but Neku has definitely experienced a massive paradigm shift in his way of thinking: he's inwardly questioning himself and acknowledging his wrongs and showing willingness to trust again and is showing a lot more empathy to other people. However, this resolve begins to crack when more holes in his memory get filled. Neku is angry and confused, but most of all, he's hurt and we see it in his reaction when Josh asks if he's okay; because he distances himself again. This situation causes him grow distant once more and he also gets more openly prickly since his trust is shaky. Josh relating to him that he feels he belongs in the UG doesn't help matters, either.
However, a later conversation has him moving forwards again. While acknowledging that people are not meant to see eye to eye, he thinks to himself that perhaps it is better that way. People don't think alike, but they can at least try to understand each other; and he then gets the resolve to actually counter Joshua's argument of solely reading people's thoughts and not talking to them.
"But why? Where's the enjoyment in that? I'd rather broaden my world my own way."
And again, we get a small paradigm shift of Neku feeling comfortable enough to express the positive changes that he has slowly been experiencing: blue symbolizes stability, and by this point in the story he is obtaining more and more of it: in his values, in his emotional expression, in how he deals with people, etc. He gets thrown for an immense loop learning that Joshua is alive though, and Neku finally snaps when his teammate brushes it off claiming they're "just like any other pair"-
He's utterly disgusted by Joshua treating the Game as an adrenaline rush- even when Neku first got into the Reaper's Game, he never enjoyed it, even if he initially was only looking out for himself at first; and the idea of getting excitement from toying with death is foreign to him. It only gets worse when Neku accuses Josh that HE killed him, and simply is taunted in return. From that point onward, he becomes openly hostile and snappy again, throwing the idea of trusting his teammate to the wind and tells him upfront that he's only going to tolerate him to survive; leaning back on his negative qualities (because growth is a process and there will be moments of wavering and backwards steps, and that's normal!)
Later on he also shows open distress when a Reaper is attacked and they are unable to save him; declaring they "left him to die." Even though it wasn't any fault of their own, Neku self-blames just like Shiki did in the first week- thinking that he could've done something, maybe if he had gotten there sooner, or defeated the Noise faster. While not 100%, Neku is comfortable enough to openly express sorrow, and Joshua underhandedly sympathizes and takes the blame off him ("We did what we had to do Neku.") He also protects Sota from Noise later down the line even though his partner is already erased and he's going to die anyway and again expresses sadness ("If only we'd gotten here earlier") and even indignation after the older man dies, screaming in anger about all the people who have been erased ("These are people, not toys!!"). When Josh questions him about the interest in others, he then explains that he's gotten to know folks better and that "it's different now".
"They're not just strangers. I can't shut them out like that."
This is really important because in this, Neku is essentially declaring he cannot go back to who he used to be; nor does he WANT to. He refuses to, and he is making a conscious effort to be open to other people even if he doesn't understand them. Neku goes on to assert that one needs to reach out to others as well in counter to Josh asserting that he won't ever be able to understand others and this time, Joshua responds positively. Through Neku's steadfastness and refusal to waver on his viewpoints once he truly feels solid in them, and his courage to express them and not back down; he influences Joshua into thinking that perhaps people truly do need each other and can understand each other, even if it isn't easy to do so. In showing sympathy towards his enemies, he also proves again and again that people can change too, for the better; and his wisdom begins to shine once more. (And it is this change that ultimately leads Joshua to decide to save Shibuya) Unfortunately, Neku is thrown for yet another loop upon getting more of his memory back and thinking that Sho killed him, and Josh sacrificing himself is absolutely world-rocking.
He blames himself again, angry at himself for not opening up; and it is with this mindset that he is thrown into the Reaper's Game for the final time. His trust is in shambles, and the third week is Neku's personal test to see if he is willing to reach out despite being recently wounded by his partner.
Speaking of, Joshua doesn't really have an arc compared to the rest of the cast: rather, he serves as the catalyst to their growth instead. His character is interesting because from beginning to end, he expresses essentially none of the positive attributes of the color he is represented by; he only appears to at first glance. While Josh does change his mind about destroying UG Shibuya and is convinced that people can change for the better, whether he himself changes for the better is up for debate. Orange is the second color associated with him (it's the shade of his cell phone and his stickers), but just like with light blue, he expresses none of its positive traits.
Orange: enthusiasm, happiness, creativity, determination, encouragement
Negative symbolism of orange includes insensitivity, pessimism, and being unsociable, all aspects of Joshua's character. He doesn't think that people can change; and that it is impossible to understand them (he even goes as far to express "I'd rather just get rid of them" in a dark contrast to Neku, who is content to merely ignore people). Josh doesn't like groups of people either, and he exhibits insensitivity many times throughout the second week, merely behaving charismatic in order to interact with others. He doesn't really grow outwardly, but that's not the point of his character; he's Neku's test to see if he's truly changed or not.
Joshua is Neku's shadow, he's in the same vein. Rather than night and day, they are as dusk and midnight.
Beat
Tumblr media
Beat is interesting because his color was actually switched for Final Remix: in the original DS version Beat is green, and in the Switch version he is yellow. I'm going to dive into both because I feel they're equally important. I already covered green for Shiki, but green has yet another meaning which describes Beat to a tee- safety. While Shiki is the moral support and mediator, he is the protector: he's extremely sacrificing for his sister and the people he cares about to the point of putting himself in physical danger to keep them safe (such as jumping in front of a car to save Rhyme, or jumping in front of Neku to protect him from a brainwashed Shiki). That much stays constant throughout the game. Healing also applies to him, as he helps Neku to open up and feel safe being emotional again by not being ashamed of being emotional himself: Beat openly cries over Rhyme and Neku mourns with him, and they help each other heal by learning to rely on one another. Not just as partners, but as friends.
Yellow: joy, warmth, positivity, friendship
From the get go, Beat is a huge bundle of energy and he's extremely kind; although he gets rather volatile if he feels slighted. But like with Shiki, he's overall a very sweet person and openly emotional: he gets angry in a heartbeat, laughs heartily when he's happy, and cries freely when he's sad- and his tears are never portrayed in a negative manner either; they're just a normal reaction to a sad situation and this normalization of sorrow leads to Neku getting comfortable again in being vulnerable- one could argue he's the most emotional in Week 3. Yellow is the complementary color to purple, which is also the main shade of Neku's design. Rather than an opposite like Shiki, or a shadow like Joshua, Beat is Neku's foil. He's a lot kinder and he's got a big heart but he is also extremely impulsive and acts w/o thinking. In contrast, Neku thinks things through logically, but he's a little lacking emotionally; and so they balance each other out. He's also highly attune to when Neku starts withdrawing into himself and gently snaps him out of it constantly; showing once again his sensitivity to emotion. (He consistently asks Neku if he's okay when he gets lost in thought; which Neku does a lot, especially if he's upset. Beat keeps him grounded.)
Beat's arc is finding value in himself again + doing his best; not for other people, but for himself and finding his drive. When mourning Rhyme, he vents that "she thought I was worth dying for" and that she had much more to live for, and he doesn't understand why she'd sacrifice for him. (And he blames himself for her death, as well) While Beat is protective out of the kindness of his heart, it also comes from a lack of self-worth: he places other people above himself, to a fault. Neku sympathizes with his grief but then goes a step farther to encourage him to not be regretful. In another contrast to Shiki, rather than another's identity making him feel inferior to the point of emulating them and overshooting, Beat jumps to the other side of the ditch and loses his passion altogether.
Rhyme refused to give up on him, but eventually Beat began to resent her pity and he began to push her away as well. After they both died and came to the Game though, Rhyme's declaration that she had nothing to live for startled him into realizing that she meant a lot more to him than he thought and more than anything else; he wanted to be there for her as she was for him. After beating himself up, Neku comforts Beat in his own way, telling him that he needs to focus on the now and not let his sorrow overcome him, in essence; but also to go the distance just for himself, not for anyone else.
And Beat gets his fire all over again, eventually declaring that Neku isn't his partner anymore- he's a friend, and one that he cares about a lot.
Through his partners, Neku finds himself, they all strengthen different aspects of him. He learns to trust, to be open, to find value in friendship again and him taking off his headphones is the ultimate metaphor of him letting the world back in.
Shiki, his opposite.
Joshua, his shadow.
Beat, his foil.
They all shaped his world, and showed Neku just how wonderful it really is.
And that is beautiful.

Shipping Container Fundamentals
Tumblr media
It's fantastic to imagine that something as inescapable and necessary to the world economy as transportation holders didn't exist only a couple many years prior. And afterward to imagine that, because of the resourcefulness of a couple ground breaking people, we presently see sea containers or Intermodal containersin a totally different light as building materials.
Transportation holders are extraordinary, however they aren't awesome. Because of our long stretches of involvement, we can see the value in a large number of their incredible advantages while as yet perceiving where they can some of the time miss the mark. Fortunately, Ironclad Containers additionally have knowledge on the most proficient method to beat a considerable lot of these apparent negatives.
Our goal here is to feature the extraordinary ascent of delivery compartments into the world's awareness. We start by talking about the beginnings of compartments: first as a technique for used storage containers for sale cambridge, and all the more as of late as a method for building. Then, at that point we'll examine a portion of the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing holders for your next development project.
History
The Ironclad Containers , like most new products, was created to solve a problem: how to transport goods quickly and safely across both land and Sea Containers . Of course, humans had been doing just that for thousands of years, but usually in ways that were quite inefficient.
The crucial innovation of container was that they were:
Big enough to hold a few thousand cubic feet of merchandise, however little enough to fit on a truck and drive on typical streets
• Strong enough to endure a frequently tricky excursion a drift, yet light enough to be moveable with cranes, forklifts, and other material taking care of hardware
• Uniform enough that any truck or boat could hold any compartment, yet adaptable enough that they could be utilized for dry products, refrigerated merchandise, mass fluids, and so forth
Because of crafted by individuals like Malcolm McLean, in only a couple brief many years, the world has been totally changed by the affordable vehicle of products from far off nationse e-g used storage containers for sale cambridge. These steel transporting holders were the fundamental innovation that got it going.
📷
Suppose you could travel anyplace on the planet and utilize a similar kind of electrical attachment, or make buys with a similar cash. Accomplishing this degree of normalization across the world is undeniably challenging, yet that is actually what dispatching compartments achieved!
What Are Shipping Container Homes and Buildings?
As opposed to some's opinion, the class of structures that fall under transportation compartment development is very enormous. Holder engineering has nearly become its own field, and modelers all throughout the planet are showing exactly how imaginative they can be with a similar fundamental structure blocks.
There are single-unit compartment lodges, holder minimalistic homes on wheels, and enormous holder homes worked with nearby dividers eliminated for bigger inside spaces.
📷
Ironclad Containers operates all within Canada to deliver the best solution to your storage needs. All of our Containers are ISO approved and certified.
There are all manner of container hybrid buildings that blend containers with traditional construction including traditional buildings built on top of containers, shipping containers for sale simcoe, storage containers for sale barrie with containers inside of them, and traditional buildings with containers jutting out through them.
There are container buildings with exterior cladding and interior walls that make it effectively impossible to tell there’s a container underneath at all unless you were watching during construction.
There are container arranged in uniform piles creating large rectangular assemblies, and containers turned, twisted, and stacked in organic ways that are anything but boring.
In short, container don’t neatly fit into any narrow building category because they can be made to look like and do just about anything with enough work.
So, instead of trying to define container buildings by how big they are, how they look, shipping companies who might be attracted to them, we simply describe them only as what they are: structures built, at least in part, which shipping containers.
It’s a mistake (albeit a common one) to assume that a container building implies a very narrow view of just one of the possibilities we mentioned above. We’ve found over time that this myopic understanding of containers ends up confusing everyone from the general public, to building officials, to future neighbors and friends.
In a perfect world, if you say the term ‘shipping containers welland’, someone listening should think “well, that could be almost anything, so I’d better find out more details”.
It’s kind of like how saying ‘boat’ could realistically many anything from a rowboat to a massive luxury yacht. If you say you live in a shipping container house, you’ve only truly described the manner of construction. The description may reflect the size and architectural style, but it doesn’t necessarily have to.
In other words, deciding to build a shipping container home is not the same thing as deciding you want a small house or a house with a metal exterior. In many ways, these are mutually exclusive decisions.
We emphasize this point to ensure that people don’t prematurely rule out construction options based on false or incomplete ideas. We’re pushing to make ‘container home’ an intentionally broad term in order to leave room for innovators and people who push the limits of design in multiple directions!
In the next section, we will give you the main pros and cons of what you can expect from this type of build. We recommend you first give some thought to what it is you want out of a home in general and compare it to the factors below to see whether container housing is right for you.

prompt: future fic with Neil on an overseas holiday
I didn’t want to write a distance fic so I made them both go on holiday and also there’s probably not enough touristy things going on but!
send me prompts
Germany is unlike anything Neil remembers.
Memories of his years in Europe with Mary are bleak, a trail of languages, identities, and cold winters mixing together in his brain.
Nicky and Erik have an early summer wedding, a colorful event in which English is spoken with all kind of accents or not much at all. Neil gets mistaken for a native speaker three times before the Kloses just start complimenting him on his accent and stop using so much dialect around him.
It’s a good opportunity for them to work on their German, set aside a little with the years in favor of Russian, which has the advantage of offering privacy from both Kevin and Aaron and Nicky. Neil is used to the exercise; jumping straight into the deep-end pool of language was a reality of his life for so long that he hasn’t quite shaken off the habit. Andrew doesn’t talk as much, but he’s not a talker by nature and even less with people outside his immediate circle.
It means that when they take the car to drive around the country after saying goodbye to Erik and Nicky the day after the wedding, Neil is in charge of planning their way around and getting them everywhere. It’s a good solution, until it isn’t.
“We’re lost.”
“I know how to read a map.”
Andrew looks back at him without blinking, a blank wall on which Neil’s annoyance ricochets back in his own face.
“These roads aren’t wide enough to be on a map,” he says.
The GPS hasn’t stopped leading them away from the wider and more frequented roads allday, until it led them straight into the middle of the countryside and stopped working.
“Give me a minute,” Neil mutters, handing Andrew a corner of the old paper map he brought. “West?”
“Straight ahead.”
“We should do this outside,” Andrew says, cutting off the engine and unbuckling his seat belt.
Neil looks up, regretting it immediately when he gets almost blinded by the setting sun. “Great.”
Neil folds down the map quickly and joins him on the hood to spread the thin sheet of paper to the wind. It’s a bit of a struggle to hold the map down in the breeze but at least Neil can get the large view he needs.
“Did we pass a village called Rohrübel?”
“Half anhour ago.”
“We should be heading north,” Neil mutters. “If I’m right and we’re on this road, then we'll be able to turn back north here—” he traces the route on the map with his fingers for Andrew.
“It’s quicker if we go back from where we come,” Andrew says. “The hotel is in this town over there.”
“Can you make a U-turn on this road?”
It’s a slip of a path, barely wide enough for one car to go through, bordered on one side by trees and by a steep slope on the other. Even Andrew, who doesn’t care much about laws and the realm of the possible, has to shake his head.
Neil folds the map so only the right portion of the road shows and they climb back into the car. The road is winding through the countryside and they have to stop twice to make the right turn at a junction; after almost twenty minutes of bumping and slow driving, Andrew sits up.
“There,” he says, nodding to the bigger road crossing theirs ahead.
“Finally.” Neil checks the map. “That’s it, turn right.”
Andrew finally speeds down the road. Neil can’t help but sneak glances his way, noting his loose hold on the wheel and his relaxed posture. He looks back once, briefly, but doesn’t say anything to discourage Neil from staring.
“I’m glad we’re here,” Neil says.
“Thirty miles off our destination, lost in the middle of nowhere?”
“We’re not lost if we know we’re thirty miles away.”
“Don’t be smart.”
“Because you don’t like my clever mouth?”
“Exactly." Andrew shifts gear perhaps a bit more forcefully than needed.
“No,” Neil says, “I meant here in Germany. In the car, with you. I grew up on these backroads.”
“Replacing trauma-inducing memories with happier ones?”
Neil hums in agreement. Andrew might look scornful at first, but Neil knows him enough to recognize his adamant drive to overcome his past, and his wish to see Neil do the same. It’s inspiring; that’s what makes coming back here with Andrew all the more precious.
Plus, Andrew’s slightly fumbling accent when he subconsciously tries to match the talking speed of the native speakers is a newly discovered delight for Neil’s trained ears.
Andrew sends him check in and fetch their room key while he parks the car and takes out their bags, so Neil takes advantage of it to ask about restaurants in town. The receptionist looks so willing to list all the establishments in town in rapid German that Neil doesn’t have the time to remind her they’re only stopping through for the night.
“Thank you,” he says when he sees Andrew stand outside the lobby, clearly waiting. “We’ll check all of that.”
“Did you get lost again?” Andrew asks as Neil steps outside. He’s just finishing a cigarette and grinds it on the ground before setting off with Neil to their room.
“I was getting insider’s insight. What do you want to eat tonight?”
“Not Japanese,” comes the obvious answer.
The last time they ate Japanese, Andrew got sick for three days and hasn’t been able to stand the smell of salmon since then. Neil reviews all the addresses the receptionist gave him in his mind.
“Best restaurant in the neighborhood is an Indian,” he remembers, unlocking their room. “Or we can do German again.”
Andrew carelessly waves away the propositions. Neil sidesteps to let him through the door with the bulky overnight bag, but Andrew knots a hand in his jacket, dragging him down for a long, deep kiss.
“Later,” he says when they break away.
Neil lets himself being dragged inside. Dinner can wait.
