It is easy to feel overwhelmed by all the witchy things you’d like to do, so creating a schedule for your witchy rituals can bring structure and balance to your practice. Here's a suggested weekly timetable to inspire you:

🌕 Monday: Moon Magic On Mondays, align your practice with the energy of the moon. Perform rituals for manifestation, divination, or connecting with your intuition. Charge and cleanse your crystals under the moonlight.

🌿 Tuesday: Herb and Plant Magic Dedicate Tuesdays to working with herbs and plants. This can involve creating herbal remedies, growing your magical herb garden, or connecting with the spirit of plants through meditation and nature walks.

🔥 Wednesday: Elemental Magic Explore the power of the elements on Wednesdays. Work with fire for transformation, air for communication and clarity, water for emotions and intuition, and earth for grounding and stability. Incorporate rituals that honor and connect with each element.

Today I watched a Unitarian Universalist service on zoom. It was really very nice!

Kind of bittersweet.

Lately I’ve been really, really missing the aspect of having weekly rituals and community. Just the part about having somewhere to go once a week, a reason to get dressed nicely, bake something for a potluck, sing in a group, make small talk with familiar people in between the rows of chairs. So I thought I’d give it a try.

“Unitarian Universalist Fellowship” is what my local one is called. I remember looking them up a while ago, maybe last year? And I wasn’t interested then because the group is open to people worshipping anything and any deity, and I felt it would be too triggering to be around the word “god” a lot. But I read the website a lot and they’re open to atheists and agnostics too, and I figured it might be an okay space to engage in some of my weirdo traditions (like wearing a head covering but not in the way that MEANS things) with all the different religions they’re okay with.

And it was genuinely really nice! I kinda want to go in person sometime now, just to see.

Their opening statement was “love is the spirit of this fellowship and service gives it life. Celebrating our diversity, and joined by a quest for truth, we work for peace, and honor all creation. This is our covenant.”

I’ll never be religious again the way I was. I will never be the most devoted member of any religious group, even open ones like these. I don’t want to be, and I can’t anyway. My brain is super skeptical of things like “quest for truth” and “creation” and “spirit.” But I can light a candle for someone concerned about their niece’s cancer, and it won’t be vibes or prayers or energy, but it will be a token of support and community and solidarity, and it will be a way to appreciate and process events happening around me.

And I never thought I’d be able to have that part again, without it hurting too much. But I guess that’s how healing works. Who knows 🤷‍♀️

I LOVE YOU!!!! i love you so very much and i cherish every moment of being your friend. i love how we can communicate so much love with such tiny gestures, like a tumblr ask or a kebin image shared over imessage. i love that we make each other worse (in the funny way), raise each other up (in the compassionate way), and ultimately balance each other out somehow. i'm so thankful that the red string of destiny that was wrapped around my pinky happened to have you tied to the other end of it, because our friendship and familial connection is something i hold so much gratefulness in my heart for. you are a delight, and i will gladly remind you of it whenever you need.

He may not be as delusional as we think. Perhaps. If you'll care to entertain my thoughts on this... Here is where I think George Hodgson and I have a strange and distinct similarity. Ritual Cannibalism is most prominently observed in the dialects of Christian Religion.

Now. One may be a bit more literal (eating Gibson or Dr. Goodsir), yes. But in a Sacrament, the point is that you're recreating the imbibement of the Body of Christ. Taking someone else's body and making it Holy and putting it into your mouth, chewing it, swallowing it, digesting it. Intimately. You can be saved if you eat of the body. I do possess the largest collection of books on Anthropophagy and Theophagy in my area, I think. However, the distance between Symbolic Theophagic Anthropophagy to straight Anthropophagy is as far as you can open your mouth.

How wide can your mouth open? Or will your jaws stay shut?

I suppose it depends on how hungry you are, doesn't it?
