to my friend who said "i'm starting to understand that 'bean' as an affectionate term is a new england thing"
it is so very much just a *me* thing that you actually made me question my own psyche because what if it IS a new england thing????? i've been saying 'wicked' my whole life, but at least i'm aware of that one now... is it possible that 'bean' is a thing too???? could i possibly contain two wolves????????

Massachusetts: Back in my day-
Maine: Shut the fuck up, it hasn't been your "day" for over three centuries now. You're practically ancient history at this point. They've found fossils younger than you. Sit down.
Louisiana: [avoids responsibility (sips daiquiri)]

Hiii! Can we see more Delaware?
If you have time, ofc :)
Delly baby... it's been awhile since I drew him so yeah!! Something about Delly's state symbols feel whimsical, much like NH's 😌 good for them truly! I saw that his state fruit were strawberries so... why not give him a good ol' snack of many berries
Meanwhile Mass and Maine has... several state symbols relating to cranberries for mass and blueberries for maine... so greedy like they've not eaten all day... Jersey put in a lot of work to grow those things just for them to eat all of the berries he gifted them immediately like some monsters 😠

States get turned into babies, shits a mess, gov’s gotta deal with it
Oh it’s a mess
I did not mean for this to be a fully colored drawing I was just being a little silly by adding hair colors and I blacked out and it was like this when I regained consciousness
Anyways in this drawing the kids are Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachusetts
No rest for the Fed

Jersey is the third smallest state. Meaning, Mass and York are both taller then him. In York's case by quite a bit
A concept: Jersey steals both their clothes. Because that is totally normal to do with your rivals
Their different reactions
Also: Thinking of changing my Jersey and York designs a bit
NY: Stop stealing my shit >:(
_
MA: I want my shirt back
NJ: Ok
MA: NO IT'S FINE-

OK HC TIME WHILE THESE ARE STILL IN MY HEAD
-Florida has a doorless jeep wrangler, neon orange or pink, I can’t decide
-not a hc but I love how massyork is finally getting more recognition. You can’t just say “nobody can kill you but me” and brush it off as normal saying
-Mass yells at children in airports and train stations and makes them cry. It isn’t his fault they aren’t moving 🙄.
-Maryland curses. A lot. Virginia has to put him in the corner but he always escapes.
-I think New York’s hair grows really fast so like one week he has a buzz cut and then like two weeks later he has a mullet.
-I like the idea of the states being famous and having social media platforms. I feel they would post the stupidest things ever of each other. (They all have gov blocked too)
-wyoming’s only weakness is swimming.
-the national guard has been called on each northeast state on more than one occasion.
-all you hear in Times Square is “Welcome To New York”, “Empire State of Mind” or, “New York, New York” (TS, Jay-Z +Alicia Keys, and Frank Sinatra) If NY can hear car honks and yelling and stuff, I fear he would hear these songs ON REPEAT. (poor guy)
^imagine like crying and just constantly hearing: “In new yooorkk, concrete jungle where dreams are made of!! There’s nothing you can’t dooo!”
it probably makes him feel worse 😔
