all this talk about the champions, but what about diantha's own league? what about the kalos league, her elite four, her gym leaders? what do they think of their champion now?

God the Kalos League was absolutely devastated when they all saw the news of what happened in Galar. Fucking imagine all of em vibing and watching the tournament, cheering for Diantha, and everything happened oh so suddenly. Suddenly Diantha had that edge, suddenly Leon started attacking her, suddenly she called out Yveltal, suddenly they see her eyes full of cold fury that they never thought they'd see, suddenly she's there calling out the Galar League, calling out Chairman Rose, telling the entire world about the threats she and the other champions had gotten from the man himself if they so much as beat Leon. And suddenly... They all started attacking her.

They're all so conflicted, they don't know what to do. That's Diantha, their champion, their angel, their queen, the one who protected all of them at all costs, who made sure they were all safe, who gave them purpose, who welcomed them despite their backgrounds, who encouraged and inspired them with her work. Their Diantha... How... How could they do that to their Diantha?

But at the same time, they were lied to. Diantha had lied to them. About Flare, about Yveltal. An argument broke out between the League, when suddenly Gengar showed up, stopping the feud, and dropped two envelopes across the table each containing a letter, with Siebold seated at the head, always her right hand man in the League. And Gengar left, but not before prompting Siebold to read the letter. And read he did.

He read out loud, for everyone to hear. There were two, but Gengar had motioned to read the one from Chairman Rose first. It read of Rose threatening Diantha of death, not only her, but her brother and even the league as well. Every Elite Four member, every Gym Leader, was mentioned by name by Rose, saying how he'll make sure Diantha would watch them all die one by one and he'll kill her brother last, making sure that everyone she loves dies before her.

Everything became cold, some were gripping the edge of the table, some almost couldn't believe that someone could ever write that, and some almost didn't want to hear the rest of it. Even Malva was surprised to hear that Rose knew she meant enough for Diantha to even threaten her too.

And then Siebold read the other letter, the date was set... Yesterday? What? Unfolding it, it's written in Diantha's own hand writing. She wrote her apologies, wrote why she ever encouraged Lysandre to create Flare, why she wanted to create a more beautiful world, so everyone she ever loved, her brother, her league, her friends, wouldn't have to be hurt anymore, so they won't have to suffer anymore. She said she had to lie to keep them safe, so the plan would go perfectly, but Lysandre was incompetent, she said, and thus the plan failed. If it didn't, then all of this wouldn't have happened too, they could be living much peaceful lives, and people like Rose won't be w them in their new world.

The League still felt conflicted, they don't know if Dia's still lying in her letter or not, but it felt so genuine, it sounds so much like the Diantha they know, to put herself out as a shield to protect those she care about. The silence was dense, and suddenly Malva stood up, hands slamming the table, despite what happened during that night, Diantha cared enough to let her heal her Houndoom, and now Malva understood why Diantha didn't want her to come to Galar to broadcast the tournament, because of what Rose would do to her too. And here she thought Diantha hated her as well. So Malva looked at Siebold, and it surprised everyone, it's been such a while since they last saw Malva being so worked up by something.

"well, it's clear what we need to do, so what are we waiting for?" She raised a brow towards the rest of the Elite Four, questioning.

Siebold sighed, heavy and tired, then he nodded, looking at the rest. "I'm sure Diantha is here in Kalos right now. And this time we'll be there for her too. She gave us support when we needed it, it's time to return the favour."

Drasna then spoke, "right. Our dear Diantha is probably so scared right now too, we'll help Augustine in his search, and together we'll all help her."

"we'll split up, all the Gym Leaders you search within your respective zones, us Elite Four will search the entirety Kalos, we'll find her soon." Wikstrom added.

And the Gym Leaders all nodded, determined to help their Champion too, and they all left, back to their respective zones and cities and towns, telling the people of their own zones what they can do to help, and soon the people followed their lead. Everyone was prepared to defend their own Champion this time, and if she finally shows up, they'd welcome her with the same warmth she showed towards them. No more will their Queen fight these battles on her own.

If Galar wants another war, then Kalos won't be going down without a fight.

Anywy i might ramble a bit abt that group here we goes

That whole Risa thing is like, a perfect sort of thing for Clear and Kieran to make a deal w their counterparts on ykno

one of the whole reasons they killed their counterparts in canon was bc they, ykno, refused to cooperate lmaO

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut..... say they reach a conclusion of sortsss Xara and Jean work with Clear and Kieran, and they'll basically bring Risa back to life in a body free from illness! seems legit enough. They approach first Xara with this deal, practically right after she accidentally kills Risa, in the Dreamyard; then Jean once he arrives. Risa gets smth created for her much like what happened to Saki/Val/Adam, and her consciousness gets transferred over. So, no more being Literally dead. the thing being, that, Clear and Kieran could just as easily send her back lol. And Jean and Xara worry about em doing that if they try to cut them off. So they keep going along with it, and thus Risa does as well, as she's fully conscious and aware of this deal now. They basically become "unofficial" mysterious figures. Texen gets involved because due to acquiring a spot in the league via Amanda, he can actually be Somewhat of an espionage-----> and he does so because he also gets the threat of his sister being ill (even though he still acts overconfident and prideful and all that in this one lol. in reality he really, reaLLY doesnt want her to die)

so we got this little band formed that just want their friend (and themselves) to keep living.

they also all get assigned a UB, except for Texen. Cause he's a "lower agent", according to Clearen. Xara gets a Buzzwole, Risa gets a Pheromosa, and Jean gets a Celesteela

Xara, Jean, and Risa also all got full teams here too. Risa still does her show business stuff, so Clear still basically takes advantage of her fame to get ahead. Jean and Xara work on the technological side and start up business in Amethyst cave again--> basically taking care of those so Clearen can move forward with the plans Much more quickly

as for Rune uh, stuff still goes pt similar lol. except Jean and Texen in particular actually do as much as possible to make sure Huey doesnt have to suffer her same fate---> thus misleading him if he gets too close to stuff, etc etc. it's a little awkward between Xara and Risa. Xara still carries a loT of guilt--> from the moral implications of the deal regardless of if it got her smth she was desperate for, to technically being too rough and putting them immediately in this situation in the first place. Risa was already sick, sure, but it still doesnt sit right with them. Regardless, they value the lives of their little group and esp Risa far too much to try and break away now.

ohh i love having my thoughts heard!! thank u anon 😌😌 k so i think the will always focus on social justice like that’s something that is huge to every single one of them… they dedicate their lives to helping ppl and their community no matter where they are in life… w tht being said i made a long list of their careers plus why!!

courtney- she would keep up w her jsa stuff on the side like keeping tabs on villains in case she needs to suit up again 😈 but she would definitely go into firefighting or emergency services like imagine court being the first one to show up at the scene and ready to patch someone up!!! she would love it and she has such buck (from 911) energy… she would love being a firefighter cuz she gets to keep her community safe

yolanda- she dabbled student government again in college cuz she loves it sm but she realizes politics isn’t for her so she joins a bunch of clubs like dance, theatre, debate, and etc so she can really live her life the way she wants… she enjoys the freedom and she is a great multitasker and she loves doing a little bit of everything she never got to in hs!! i think ultimately she goes into teaching and then gets an offer to be a professor at a nearby university im not sure what she would teach but it’s something along the lines of sociology… she loves passing down her wisdom also she looks out for kids who are struggling like she did

beth- the obvious answer might be doctor but i think she actually goes into fashion!! she’s a tastemaker so she definitely becomes head of a well known magazine like anna wintour… beth would dedicate her entire career to uplifting woc and using her influence to shine a light on talented newbies in the fashion industry!!! also have u seen her fashion sketches she put up in her room?? she was born to be a trendsetter and a true leader of style

rick- i’m pretty solid on my hc that he does something w cars like he either takes over pats shop or starts his own in another town and names it after his parents to honour them… he runs a v successful dealership and sells every single one cuz i don’t think anyone is more excited abt cars than him

isaac- kinda obvious but i think he goes to school for music maybe juliard uh he eventually finds himself acting instead of pursuing music but he loves it!! he starts off small and goes to la to do a few supporting roles for a couple films until disney discovers him and gets him under their “three seasons and an album” contract so from there he kinda just pursues both

artemis- that girl is playing for the big leagues idc!!! she’s literally on track to become the best football player in history ik nothing abt football but ik for a fact artemis is all the rage 😤😤 nothing is stopping her and she will play for the best of the best

So I never thought I’d write anything Amourshipping in my entire life because I’m sure most of you know exactly how I feel about them but that’s what I’m doing for this LMAO

Anyway it takes place a couple years after the end of SM, Ash is around 18-19 and has made a big name for himself competing in tournaments and Pokemon Leagues. Gladion and Lillie are back in Alola with Mohn, and Gladion does research on Ultra Beasts with him while maintaining a position at the Battle Tree and competing in the Alola League every year. Serena is the current reigning Kalos Queen and spends her time doing showcases and performing for large audiences.

The AU starts when Serena calls up Ash and asks him if he’s willing to fake date her. For the sake of publicity and also because her manager is getting on her ass about dating some guy who’s a professional in PR videos (also for publicity and to promote her image)—this guy has also taken an interest in Serena and doesn’t know what the word no means, so the whole thing has made her super uncomfortable. Serena figures since Ash is her friend, she knows him well enough to be comfy with fake dating him and because Ash has a great reputation that won’t scar her public image (not that she cares much about that anyway!) it would be the best thing to do to get her manager and the PR asshole off her back.

Note that at this point Serena is well over Ash lol and tells him as such—basically water under the bridge now, especially because Serena has a crush on Shauna instead (but was too afraid to ask her to fake date because she didn’t want to mess things up with a potential romantic relationship—with Ash it’s a no strings attached sort of deal). It’ll probably be a little awkward but out of all the people who could do it Ash is clearly the best option.

Ash is very hesitant about it since he’s not really a fan of lying to people, but eventually relents because Serena really needs help. They agree to go through with it long enough for the opposing parties to back off, and decide they’ll have a fake breakup once Serena feels safe enough to be single again. Obviously this is a terrible idea but both of them are idiots and didn’t think things through LMAO

The only real issue is that Ash is scheduled to stay in Alola for a few weeks, part of a routine he does yearly where he rotates around all the regions he’s visited to catch up with old friends and get some training in. Serena’s like oh no problem I’ll just come to Alola with you and we can show off there! Do some hand holding and cheek smooches in front of the cameras and we’ll be golden. So Ash flies out to Kalos first so he and Serena can break the news of their “relationship” to the public.

Back in Alola, Lillie and Mallow end up breaking the news to Gladion, who subsequently has a meltdown (tho he will deny that he did) and gets really depressed and hurt by the situation, because lately he and Ash have been growing closer and he actually planned on confessing his feelings when Ash came to visit. Welp. Clearly that’s not going to happen now, and as soon as Ash and Serena arrive Gladion literally BOLTS because he’s gay panicking and can’t bear the thought of seeing Ash with somebody else.

Lillie keeps making excuses as to why Gladion’s avoiding Ash, Ash and Serena continue to parade around in front of the cameras and do silly shit that makes the paparazzi go nuts, Gladion falls further into despair and Lillie gets fed up with his angsty emo bullshit fnnsndnsn

Eventually the rest of the Alola crew start to catch on that hey maybe this is...not real? A publicity stunt? They have no idea why Ash or Serena would stoop to doing something like that but they try to convince Gladion that hey maybe you’ve still got a shot. This could all just be a huge ruse and they’re not actually into each other. With enough goading Gladion is eventually convinced to go hash things out with Ash and figure out what the hell is going on, but he witnesses them kissing alone in the woods and realizes that no, it’s genuine, and he’s an idiot for hoping otherwise. Ofc Gladion’s a dumbass and didn’t realize that Ash and Serena were being tailed, so they kissed to put on a show.

Gladion eventually puts his foot down and says you know what I can’t do this anymore I’m leaving. And Lillie’s like. What? You’re just running away from your feelings? And Gladion’s like that’s exactly what I’m doing—I mean no I want to travel and visit all the other regions and. Do research. See if the Ultra Beasts were ever involved anywhere outside of Alola. And Lillie’s like that’s a great excuse but you’re just being a coward about it and Gladion’s like well there’s nothing you can do about it ;) and generally acts like a stubborn jackass LMAO

Then Lillie is the one to put her foot down and decides if Gladion’s too chicken to confess his feelings she’ll fucking do it for him! God she has to do everything for this family jfc. She corners Ash and demands the truth, who easily lets up about the fake dating thing, and Lillie tells him Ash Ketchum if you don’t get your ass down to the marina right now you’ll probably never see Gladion again. So leave right now. Kiss him. And tell him you’ve been in love with him since you battled him on the beach all those years ago.

AND ASH DOES EXACTLY THAT and he and Serena “break up” and he gets together with Gladion and she gets with Shauna and it’s a happy ending for everyone THE END

has rehabilitation!tomura interacted with deku, and how has that gone? are there any UA students that he's able to get along with surprisingly well?

i actually have a verrrry early draft of Familiar--which took place much earlier in tomuras recovery--that talked a little abt his interactions w deku and the other kids!

in general though; he does interact with the students sometimes. he doesn't stray far from aizawa, who still watches over the dorms some days, so there's opportunities for everyone to interact fairly regularly.

tomura isn't particularly sociable and tends to get overstimulated by groups of loud teenagers, so he generally stays away from the more communal areas of the dorms--but he can be found there in the middle of the night or early mornings. most of the kids with trouble sleeping have talked to him a couple times at least.

he probably gets along with calmer students like todoroki and momo best--which is to say he tolerates them better than loud, high-energy students. he's less likely to immediately leave if they walk in, basically.

for the most part, he's more interested in building relationships with the adults around him (though not because he views them as peers, but because of Trauma and Attachment Issues.)

Anyway! Here's that little early draft snippet i mentioned.

The League of Villains is finished. All his members were caught and shipped out to be ‘rehabilitated’ by professionals. He’s sure Toga’s out there making some psychologist just as miserable as they make her.

He hopes she’s having fun with it, at least.

Tomura got a special case himself, though. Instead of being thrown in prison or a mental institution, he’s been placed under the care of Eraserhead.

On U.A.’s campus, of all places.

They determined that he’s not much of a risk to the students. Which is fair; every contact with the underworld he’d had in the League was severed or caught.

There’s no reason to try again.

They haven’t explicitly said he’s on a suicide watch, but Tomura isn’t dumb. He knows why he isn’t allowed to shut his door, why all his eating utensils are plastic, why his bathroom has no lock on it.

Fair enough.

He held out for a while, even while he was getting cuffed and quirk suppressed and shoved into the back of a transport van. Just a minor holdback. They’d figure their way out of it, regroup, try again, like they always did. He could picture it; he only needed to be able to use his quirk one time, and then he’d incite such a massive riot and jailbreak that the heroes would have too little manpower to focus on him and his League.

But then he watched as all his members were transported to different locations, every one of them--and then he was alone.

No Kurogiri, no Toga, no Twice, no Dabi, no Magne. No Sensei to impress--fuck, even All Might had already retired.

What was he fighting for?

Who?

So he gave up. And the heroes were concerned.

Still, he doesn’t think he’s motivated enough to do even that much, even if it means being stuck here. Everyone is so painfully kind; it makes him sick. He tried to kill them countless times and they’re acting all buddy-buddy with him. He’s too tired to even do anything but glare when the girls decide to brush his hair for him. Just like he did with Toga.

He’s surprised at how well the students are taking his chance at “recovery”, actually. Out of everyone, he thought they’d be the most opposed to it--but instead they seem to be cheering him on just as much as each other, even if there’s a tremble behind their thumbs ups, a slight crease in their brows when they smile at him.

Midoriya is a champion at the latter in particular. He’s all nervous energy, torn between offering him the forgiveness and praise he thinks Tomura needs to make “progress”, and skittering away to keep a healthy campus-length distance between them. He supposes that’s fair; he did nearly crumble him. At least for the frog girl there were still heroes around, people to help--but Midoriyia’s fate had been entirely in Tomura’s hands, and everyone knows what Tomura’s hands are capable of.

The Todoroki kid--Dabi’s baby brother, apparently--has come around a few times, talking cryptically about change and “becoming better”, and also to ask about Dabi once. Only once, because he really didn’t have much to tell the kid. Dabi mostly kept to himself, which he already should have known if he wasn’t getting anything out of his direct visits to him and had to resort to asking Tomura of all people.

He’s never needed knives before; all he needed to do was misbehave and he’d be in a world of pain.

Now, though, he’ll break something on purpose, or lash out, or spit some kind of vitriol at someone, and the most that happens is a stern word or his Switch is taken away--because they’re ‘heroes’ and they won’t lay a finger on him, no matter how angry he makes them, no matter how hard he tries.

He used to think he only did those things to exercise some sense of autonomy.

Now he’s thinking he needs knives.

He’s never put into positions that hurt and left to fend for himself, either. He honestly expected to be used as a punching bag--(stupid, they’re heroes)--to have his quirk taken away and hands tied down and forced to learn how to survive without killing. But they don’t. In fact, doing things that hurt is just another thing he’s chastised for now. They scold him when he doesn’t eat enough, when he leaves bleeding wounds untended, when he scratches his neck until it’s shredded.

The fireplace, which seemed always ablaze, was warming the remaining Gryffindor students’s feet with its fire. The students weren’t great in number, they were five in total because most were done studying late and had gone to bed already. Ron was keeping Y/N company while she studied for a test tomorrow that she shared with Hermione. But the Granger girl had already, of course, studied for it, so she had no problem on the night before.

It wasn’t like Y/N was stressed out of her mind, she was quite calm about the test, she just needed to revision a few topics. There were books and notebooks and random pieces of parchment scattered across their table’s surface. Ron was leaned back in his chair, rereading a book on Quidditch History for (Y/N was sure) the thousandth time already. Y/N’s forehead was on her hand as she continued to make her conspect on the farthest planets known to wizards.

“How’s it gooooing?” Ron asked from his chair. Y/N lifts her head up momentarily as a smile tugs at her lips, and she sighs to herself.

“Just fine.” She said and then looked at Ron properly, locking her hands together before her on the pile of books. He looked at her through his forehead, sort of, but never menacingly, only curiously. “How many times did the Cannons win the League again?”

Ron chuckled and glanced back down to his book, though he knew the fact so well that he’d tell it to you without struggle if you woke him in the middle of the night. “Twenty-one, but only in 1892.” He said. “Which is the farthest planet from ours?”

Y/N smiled wide. “D’you want the muggle truth or our truth?” She asked, resting her chin in her hand. Ron grinned wide. “Saturn, for the muggles.” She said, then. “But Alastar for us.” Ron’s eyebrows furrowed.

“I think I knew a bloke called Alastar…” He admitted, scratching the back of his neck, he really looked like he was trying to remember. Y/N couldn’t figure out whether he was serious or not, and she chuckled. “D’you think the star’s named after ‘im?” She chuckled again.

“People are usually named after stars, not vice versa.” She pointed out. Ron leaned forward, his elbows on their table. He raised his eyebrows.

“But what if he discovered the planet?” He suggested and raised his index finger in the air. “Then it would be named after ‘im.”

Y/N smiled wide. “Wow, you’re better than my astronomy and history books.” She said, shaking her head and smiling wider with every second. Ron blushed and laughed and hung his big ginger head lower, not wanting her to see his blush. But she did, alright, and she had nothing to say about it other than that the blush was cute, to her, at least. But she didn’t care about anyone else. “That could be on the quiz.”

“What exactly? The question whether a star is named after a person or vice versa?” Ron precised and made her laugh again. He smiled. Y/N glanced down at her empty pink cup once her laughter had sort of died down, and she turned the cup around between her hands. “I think that needs refilling.”

She nodded at his empty orange cup with raised eyebrows, it was sitting next to hers. “Yours does, too.” She stated, and they both laughed again. They’re probably too tired, that’s why they’re laughing so frequently.

“Mine’s not empty, actually.” Ron said, lifting it up to his mouth. Y/N held her tongue with something to say right on the tip of it, and watched as Ron drank in the remaining of his hot chocolate. They both had got one for each from the kitchen before they came to their common room and started to study, and no wonder her cup was empty and his was—“Ah, it’s cold!” Ron retracted the cup and cringed expressively at what he’d drank. Cold hot chocolate was never pleasant, especially when you live somewhere with stone walls and floors, it gave you more chills. And especially when you’re tired and everything’s bound to get on your nerves. Y/N chuckled at his facial expression and took her pink cup between her hands. “Sure, laugh at my misery!” Ron complained, but she saw a smile tugging at his lips.

“Shall we go and get a refill?” She asked then, looking suggestively at Ron.

“What, now?”

“Yes, now, when else?”

Ron was hesitant. His voice quieted down to a whisper when he spoke, “I don’t think we should. Isn’t there a curfew or somethin’?”

Y/N shook her head. “There’s no curfew. And we’ll be quick, come on, everyone’s almost asleep, anyway.” She already rose to her feet, but Ron still sat in his chair. But she gave him her hand to motivate him to get up, and he did eventually.

“McGonagall’s gonna have our heads on sticks if she catches us.” Ron said as they walk through the common room’s entrance door. Y/N laughed quietly to herself, knowing how good the echo is in the Hogwarts castle, as she waited for Ron, her cup in hand.

“She won’t, trust me.” She assured him and took his hand again. Ron tried to match the speed of her feet that treaded so lightly on the stone steps of the moving stairs, and he started giggling after he’d almost fallen over. She hushed him and they continued their journey down to the kitchen.

Poor bean just keeps working.

Workaholic to the core, and very convinced that his Wooloo need him.

Takes like, ten people to finally convince him to just go home and fuckin’ rest.

And also hold him down but that’s another story.

Recovers quickly regardless.

“Weren’t you just sick?” “Yep!” “...It’s been a day????” “YEP! :D!”

Nessa:

Beautiful when healthy, shivering, sniveling mess when sick.

Is always cold. No amount of blankets can stop her from shivering.

Has a very specific Chewtle doll that she cuddles when she’s sick.

Refuses to let people take care of her.

Is denied that refusal and is taken care of anyways.

Stubborn and pouty, but still pretty cute.

Falls asleep for what feels like years.

Recovery time is about as long.

Kabu:

The immune system of a steroid induced ox.

Rarely ever gets sick, but when he does, he has absolutely no clue how to deal with it.

Medicine??? What’s that???

Will continue to train, just indoors.

His biggest support from other people would be just them bringing him food so he can cook.

By the time he’s done being sick, he has absentmindedly cooked so many things that he just gives them out to the league.

Unfortunately for the league, this man has a fast recovery time.

They want more food.

Bea:

Absolutely REFUSES to admit that she’s sick.

Stubborn as well, and she will go until her body refuses to anymore.

Someone at some point will get a phone call, and it’s her sniffling and saying that she can’t get home from the gym.

Kabu usually rescues her.

Is literally just a ball of pent up energy cause she can’t do shit.

She’s basically vibrating.

Needs to take so much Nyquil in order to actually go to bed.

Ends up becoming a Bea burrito with how she rolls herself up in blankets.

Allister:

Refuses to come out of his room.

Will absolutely make a nest bc this is perfect for him.

He doesn’t wanna deal with people, he just wants to play video games and sleep all day.

He has to be physically dragged to a doctors office.

Sometimes, people have a hard time figuring out if he’s sick or not bc he’s basically the same person when healthy.

Has a rock hard immune system, so he like, never gets sick.

Gets whiny if he does tho.

Best thing for Gordie when he’s sick? Legos. He likes building shit, cause he gets bored really quickly w nothing to do.

Knows the best medicine, the most effective shit, and the best methods for getting unsick.

She has to! She deals with ice types!

Will not stop doing things until she’s bed ridden.

Her children will collectively freak out for a sec and then get a system running to take care of her.

Mama bear goes into hibernation. Do not wake her up. You will die.

This is more common than she likes to admit.

Piers:

Please help this man and his immune system out.

The worst thing abt this is he can’t sing.

But he also likes his voice when it’s gravely and rough so he does it anyways.

Proceeds to lose his voice. Proceeds to then look like a lost puppy.

Cuddlebug to the max.

He’s a stick, so he shivers a lot.

Will absolutely have a heated blanket. Don’t test him.

“Piers did you inhale the cough drops again.” “...Yes?” “Gdi.”

Will fall asleep on you for hours.

Raihan:

Anything that comes into his room is now part of his hoard.

Nest? Pfft, that’s for weaklings.

Hoard is a very accurate term for him and his dragons.

This includes people. It’s an entire endeavor if you try to leave his room.

Gets clingy and protective, and knows exactly every little thing that he has in his hoard, and will know when they’re missing.

-when bnha was first gaining traction on tumblr, it was all art of Tsuyu. I have no idea why. People were talking about the funky frog lesbian superhero anime. Maybe it was just the people I was following, maybe it was a general trend, but I LOVED her design!!! my fav color and frogs r super cute!!! And I already loved superhero media, so I was like. I’ll watch it. For Her. SO. FROPPY IS THE REASON I WATCHED/READ BNHA. I went in thinking she was the protag and I was sooo confused when Izuku was... tbh I still think it’d be more interesting if she was lmaooo aus where? ...seriously if anyone has good aus where this is the case send them LOL

-I don’t actually feel that bad abt what Shigaraki’s doing. I still feel bad for him. I’m this post. yes im an apologist. its not my fault hes sexy and has been running around shirtless. hes a lesbian icon like thor is. -HOW DID TOGA GET SO GOOD AT FIGHTING? We know she’s been on the run since middle school or so, but good enough to pin Deku down after he’s been formally trained at a ~hero school~ for a while? (she pinned him TWICE I think, once when his arms were messed up, but, the other time as Camie, so? AND THEN WAS ONE OF THE 100 PEOPLE TO GO THRU TO THE 2ND ROUND OF THAT? even tho she didn’t bc she had to leave) good enough to beat Aizawa in a fight and stab him? A professional hero and teacher for YEARS? Is that seriously just street training??? Can people acknowledge how amazing her combat skills and reflexes are??? More Toga appreciation when?? Also her backstory??? SO subversive and incredible, hate when people reduce her to just a ~typical anime yandere~ :/

-Tomura doing stuff with his hands/fingers to train his quirk!!! And to learn to be careful with it!! obv I’m a Big Fan of him playing piano to do this and video games are prob the canon answer, but like, guitar or any stringed instrument that requires Hands would work too. Or knitting/sewing? EMBROIDERING? ??? Please, let me give you the mental image of him knitting aggressively while mentally scheming, watching a twitch streamer or smth too while doing it. (Doing stuff with your hands is a great way to let your mind come up with creative stuff, that’s how I come up with writing/drawing ideas 70% of the time)

-Tomura actually PREFERS cutesty, relaxing games. I mean, he does fighting and bloody stuff irl, games are a way to relax...he’ll play shooters and gta type games with The Lads, but. on his own?? animal crossing. pokemon. kirby games. mario. zelda. BIG ZELDA FAN (not saying this bc I, personally, am biased, but,) slime rancher, stardew valley, funny simulator games... he really enjoys those :”) God forbid he has a kid bc they’re 100% getting named after a viddy game character unless someone can talk him out of it LOL. Toga and Tomura are that animal crossing /doom meme where she’d be asking for doom and him asking for animal crossing :”)

-Bits and pieces of Before are kinda stuck in Kurogiri’s brain, but like. mostly useless stuff the doctor didn’t care about removing. Like, types of clouds. So Tomura kinda picks up on stuff like that. He can just look at clouds and tell you what type they are because Kurogiri used to take him up to high places in the city and point them out to calm Tomura down from a panic attack when he was younger. He can tell you if the sky looks like it’ll rain with a 80% accuracy rate too. 

-Kurogiri left food out for kitties in the alley beside the bar. They weren’t allowed in for Health Reasons (it IS a bar with sanitation standards!!) And Tomura really wouldn’t stop it or encourage it either way so long as Kurogiri did his job, but occasionally would stand outside with Kurogiri and just watch the kitties from a distance. If any approached he’d go back in (lowkey afraid he’d hurt them by touching them :( ) They kinda kept that between them tho, bc they both Know AFO is a big bag of dicks and no fun

-people have pointed out how similar aizawa and tomura look. this was 100% the intention. tomura has a hatecrush on him. THIS IS SO FUNNY AND HORRIBLY AWKWARD FOR KUROGIRI LMAO

-Sako??? Mr. Dramatic?? Opera fan. Drama kid. Like, obviously, but. Really. He is. I feel like he can speak a dozen languages. I also feel like he used to be an overachiever but got too ambitious. He was def some kind of leader at one point of a diff Group or something that fell apart. I LOVE how creative he is with his quirk and the magician theme??? incredible. I don’t show him enough love but I Love Clowns :o)

-I don’t care what their canon heights are. Spinner and Dabi? short kings. My height hcs are (tallest to shortest) Kurogiri, Twice, Sako (who also has heels on his boots and a tall hat, keep in mind), Tomura, Magne (Tomura and Magne are about the same height imo) Toga, Spinner, Dabi. LISTEN. Dabi has short energy. Sorry. it’s true tho

-This is a semi-popular hc I think bc I KNOW I’ve seen it before, but Dabi having Terrible Vision and needing glasses is so so good. (seriously, with burns THAT close to his eyeballs, how could he not?) 

-he tries to be a tough loner coolguy. you’d think he’d smoke, but I hc his ‘weak constitution’ comes with weak lungs (esp from years of a flame quirk?? inhaling smoke over so much time is SO bad for you, most people who die in fires actually die of smoke inhalation...) so he’s got like, an inhaler, can’t smoke, actually gets carsick, needs glasses, overuses quirk to save friends constantly, likes napping, a little awkward and rude. Tomura put him in charge of the vanguard so he’s smart, and good with strategies too, like a nerd. this is the Dabi I wanna see, not the popular fandom version of him tbh also step on hawks one more time sir :”)

-I wish all the lov fics weren’t?? villain!deku like I said earlier, but also, chatfics? I have nothing against them but most of them are just a bombardment of Memes with NO PLOT!!! Listen. text/chatfics CAN have plot and be an interesting way to tell a story. I almost want to write one just to show what I mean...

it sucks :/ yn was deffinitely starting to separate him from his friends after the time they spent together (nd the days in between) but this is just not it . it’s even worse too bc he’s actually trying . like ., he doesn’t really care what they say abt him most of the time ., but at the start of it he was really trying to get them to stop talking so low of her nd then it sort of slipped in a panic .. nd then it got worse when that stupid bet came up (he knows how the guys are nd he knows how they think ., so ended up blurting anything out) . 

literally regretted it the moment he said it bc he knows he doesn’t see yn like that nd would never treat her like that . it was just all the pressure that was coming from his friends - which had him speaking out of turn ., another huge reason why he should just drop them !! there was no mal intent w it tho ., he’s just horrible w speaking nd not that strong when it comes to them ., three against one is hard . he’s struggling a lot right now too ., knowing that he should break away from them ., but always being seen as cool in their eyes .

 it’s like he knows he needs to grow apart from them ., but the fact that they’ve always been around makes it hard for him to just do it . nd they do know that he’s been trying to get her attention for a while ., but bc he felt like she didn’t like him at one point - them saying that she didn’t even like him definitely hurt his feelings ., so he kept repeating it lowkey trying to convince himself that she does .

Gosh speaking of Drayton not being able to keep up with training + staying up for Iris, it reminds me of that other ask where Iris finds him asleep at the table. Just picturing she's holding Drayton's hand, feeling her heart break to pieces when she can circle her fingers around his wrist.

With the clothes Drayton is wearing + training he tries and fails to complete, maybe it hides how he's a smidge underweight for someone his age and height. Maybe he eats late or skips meals altogether because he prefers catching a nap than eating, and because he wants to eat with Iris. He keeps snacking on various snacks in the clubroom cause it staves off feeling hungry but it's not enough for a growing body y'know?

Now I'm also picturing Crispin, who doesn't fully understand but he too once grabbed Drayton's hand for whatever reason and like Iris, notices how his fingers can almost circle around Drayton's wrist. He knows at least that for a guy like Drayton, he shouldn't be able to do that. Crispin loves cooking, and he wants people to eat what they need cause 'food's important for your development!!' so he starts making 'test dishes' and having Drayton be his main taste tester.

Drayton has token complaints but he can't say no, not when Crispin's earnest eyes are looking at him and genuinely wants feedback so he eats, easing hunger that he wasn't really paying attention to. It becomes a routine, so much so that when Drayton sees Crispin with a box or dish he's just 'okay lay it on me. What is it this time?'

Just love these kids sm fr. I like to think that, for all their bickering, they care and look out for one another

No but that's so sweet of Crispin tho, that he also finds out abt Drayton not eating much so he makes him food which he disguises as his test dishes, but really, it's also a way to find out what dishes Drayton actually likes so he can make more of it for him

But what also gets me is the fact Drayton did have a dialogue going on how he likes the Academy Special or smth bc it's soft and he can gulp it down, barely even have to chew, so idk what to make of that without like,, y'know making it triggering for peeps so yeah ask me to tag stuff bc this involves,, this. Anyways, y'know, I do wanna say that's not on him being lazy that he doesn't chew his food much, rather, he just doesn't have the energy for it, or he just have a handful of food he can actually stomach down. Or he's a picky eater which then I will proceed to project lmfaooo

But also it'd be sweet tho if Iris does try to bring food from other regions back home after every Champion meet ups. After catching up, Drayton grew tired, ofc, it was rather late, he stayed up late again for her, she tells him everytime he doesn't have to, but he really wants to. Imagine tho like true siblings Drayton asks Iris to carry him cause "what's the point of all that training with gramps if you won't put your muscles to good use."

But imagine tho as she's carrying him to his room, he fell asleep, and Iris finally noticed he wasn't as light as he was before, he grew a bit heavier than she last remembered, and that actually made her happy; she really has to give her thanks to Drayton's friends for taking care of him while she was away doing her Champion duties. But also her making a promise to herself to be on break for a bit and have Hilbert deal w being Unova's Champion while she really catches up w her brother, ofc, it's been a while, and she'd rather not have him stay up late again just to wait for her to come back home

It sucks sharing an apartment with two other people and being the only single one out of the bunch. At times his roommates would schedule a date night on the same night, which would leave Jo Jo all alone. It has happened more than once, believe it or not. Well, Jo Jo isn’t exactly salty. He’s fine being single. What he doesn’t like with his situation is the part where he’s left behind in their empty apartment. 

These are one of those nights. But Jo Jo pushes through the lonely feeling and searches for company. It’s a good thing his good friends, Kathrine and Davey lives just a floor below him. They usually have movie nights together and wouldn’t mind with another friend crashing in. 

Jo Jo passes a few doors before he arrives at his destination. He knocks on the door, fully expecting Davey to be answering the door. If it’s movie night, he’s sure Kathrine is wrapped up in a blanket on the couch with no desire of moving a muscle. 

The door was answered, but not with who he initially expected. The other Jacobs sibling, Sarah, who just so happens to be Kathrine’s girlfriend. The optimism nearly fell off of Jo Jo’s face but he quickly picked it up to avoid giving the wrong impression. 

“Sarah! I didn’t know you were here!” Jo Jo tried to cover up his disappointment. 

“Well, Davey’s out so Kath invited me to join her for movie night!” 

They didn’t turn away their lonely friend. Though, third wheeling a couple was not what he was looking for. It just makes him feel more lonely. But the couch is big enough for the three of the to cuddle. The feeling of the fabric against Jo Jo’s skin is a little rough but the orange comfy cushions makes up for its roughness. 

Jo Jo bounces a bit on the couch before settling under the huge pink fluffy blanket with the couple. It’s big enough for Kathrine and Sarah to be cuddling on one side of the couch and let Jo Jo be an outcast on the other. 

He tries to ignore the fact that Kathrine has her head laid on top of Sarah’s chest. The occasional small kisses Sarah gives Kathrine and the butterflies from the pit of their stomachs they express through small giggles. The apartment is dark so the visual can be easily ignored by hyper focusing on the TV screen. Though, Jo Jo can’t shake away the feeling of its presence. 

The movie that Jo Jo can’t recognize, moved on to a passionate kissing scene. As if tormenting him with his two friends beside him is already doing the kissing themselves isn’t enough. He hadn’t realize he sighed out too loud when Kathrine sat up from where she was lying down. 

“Oh, Jo Jo, I’m so sorry! We didn’t mean to left you out of the cuddling!” 

Kathrine proceeds to shift closer to Jo Jo, wrapping her hands around his torso to give him an apology bear hug. Jo Jo didn’t turn it down and hugs her back, hearing Sarah giggling behind. 

They let go and moves a little to the center of the couch. Sarah shifts closer too so they can snuggle up with them and they concentrate back on the movie. The only things is, the movies sucks and is boring the hell out of them. 

“Why’d you even pick this movie in the first place?” Jo Jo asked after the two girls expressed their boredom. 

“I don’t know, I just picked a random movie hoping it isn’t bad” Kathrine confessed. 

“Okay... so now what?” Sarah asked the others. 

So there’s the new problem that emerged from the shadows as Kathrine turn the lights on and Jo Jo stops the movie. No other activity came to mind. Not even picking another movie since the girls already spent nearly an hour watching some lame movie. 

“I know!” Sarah suddenly chirped up after a few moments of silence. Kathrine and Jo Jo looked at her hopefully, “A game of truth or dare perhaps?” 

“I’m not interested in doing any dares right now” Jo Jo replied. 

“Then... let’s make it a game of truth or truth!” Sarah continued on. She shifts a little closer to the two but kept her gaze fixed on Jo Jo with a grin painting her face, “If you could date one of us, who would you date and why?” 

So it appears Jo Jo is up first. Not exactly sure when did they decided it though. He squints his eyes at the girl and tilts his head in confusion. 

“Ignoring the fact that we’re all gay here. Of course you wouldn’t date either of us but if you had to choose, who’d it be?” 

Since there isn’t anything else for them to do, Jo Jo plays along with this game of truth or truth. Half an hour asking others questions, real spicy ones too, they were having a blast in the end. 

Kathrine opens up the beer stash she and Davey keeps, but if they’re being real: Kath is the only one that really needs that stash. Sarah shares a bottle with Kathrine and Jo Jo passes the offer. 

“Tell me, Jo Jo: why are you still single?” it was Sarah’s turn again to ask Jo Jo a question. A fitting one as well, since the reason he came here is to not be lonely while his two roommates are out on their respective dates. 

He rolls his eyes before diverting them back to where the other two girls were, still sitting in the same position they were the whole time, “I just haven’t found the right one yet!” 

“So Mike’s not the ‘right one’ for you?” Kathrine plainly asked, as if it wasn’t suppose to be a secret he was keeping with a few other people. 

His eyes Kathrine down with silent rage. Sarah’s eyes widen and her jaws dropped to the floor. She was laughing breathlessly when she heard her friend having a crush on another friend she hadn’t expected. 

Jo Jo isn’t up to argue with her so he just slouches back in the couch with a pout and a loud sigh. Sarah’s laugh and Kathrine’s cheeky grin at him is infuriating. It’s quite hard to ignore it too since they’re both up on his face. God, he wishes he has the heart to punch the light out of them. 

The bullying only lasted for a minute or so. Sarah stops laughing as soon as she noticed the visible pout on his face. But she couldn’t hold back the grin. 

“Alright, alright, stop it you two!” Jo Jo said, before slouching again with his hands crossed. 

A few seconds of silence to wait for Sarah and Kathrine to come down from their high. Once Sarah caught up with her breath, though the excitement was still verbally there, she speaks up, “So how’s that going on?” 

“What?” Jo Jo gazed at her confused for a second. Not that he didn’t understand what it meant, but rather at the fact that she doesn’t understand the situation, “You think I’m the kind of guy that can make the first move?” 

As much as Jo Jo loves his friend, Sarah is out of her mind to think Jo Jo can make any form of progress. He doesn’t know what Mike’s reaction would be if he does. Hell, he wouldn’t even know where to start!

“I mean, easiest way to do it is by talking to him” Sarah added on, “You never know till you try!” 

“I wish this was truth or dare. I would’ve given you a dare to go talk to Mike right now” Kathrine commented. It’d be a very fitting dare since Mike lives with his twin brother Ike just a few doors down. Though, she’d expect Jo Jo to chicken out and switch to a truth. 

Regardless of the unfortunate circumstances, they keep playing. Sarah, being the only one who isn’t entirely in the know of Jo Jo’s crush, kept asking questions about it in between turns and sometimes she makes it her question to him. Kathrine already knows because Jo Jo often talks about it to her. 

If you ask him, Jo Jo doesn’t even know how he’d gotten his feelings tangled with his friend in the first place. It suddenly happened and it hasn’t left his system ever since. If he could, he’d do something about it. But Mike’s far out of his league, he’s sure of that. Plus he’s probably already busy with someone else. So what’s the point in trying? 

A knock on the door brought their laughter to a sudden stop. It couldn’t be Davey, since he’d already have the keys to enter his own apartment. As Kathrine recall, her roommate didn’t left his keys at home. Even if he did, he’d call Kathrine beforehand. 

The three observes the door quietly, bodies frozen in place and simultaneously thinking of the same thing. They exchange looks to each other before focusing back to the door. 

Jo Jo stands up from the couch and tip toes to the door. His movement are careful as he gets his hand closer to the doorknob. There was more knocks, since it’s left unanswered for quite some time, followed by a familiar voice calling from the other side with a familiar voice that makes his heart drop, “Davey? Kath? It’s Mike!” 

He could not have such bad timing than to come knocking on the door right now. What can be so important that the next morning couldn’t wait?  

Jo Jo twisted his head back to face the girls who are now smiling widely, visibly trying to hold back a laugh. They gestured him to go open door but Jo Jo refuses, frantically shaking his head with a look of horror behind his eyes. 

“Hello? You guys home?” Mike called out again with a few more knocks. 

Jo Jo starts to sweat. His legs glued to the floor, unable to escape his problem. Kathrine rolls his eyes with an annoyed sigh, getting up from her seat to get to the door. Jo Jo isn’t sure what she’s going to do but it was too late to stop her before she realizes she’s opening the door for him and proceeds to hide herself behind it. 

Mike froze for a moment, surprised to see the boy’s face, “Jo Jo? Wh-what’re you doing here?”

Jo Jo couldn’t answer quickly, his brain not being able to pull him away from the sudden act Kathrine just pulled on him, “Uhh... hi” 

A slap can be heard in the background. Jo Jo can feel the disappointment from Sarah’s distant facepalm. He hears a silent sigh from behind the door, Kathrine deciding to step in and save the day with a huge smile on display. 

“Hey, Mike! You need me to return that cooking pot?” 

“Oh, yes! I need it for tomorrow” Mike answered, moving his focus to Kathrine. 

“I’ll go fetch for you but it’s gonna take some time” Jo Jo is slowly realizing what Kath’s up to and he can’t do anything about it, “In the mean time...” 

A big shove from the back made Jo Jo’s feet obey to the movement since his brain isn’t registering to what’s happening yet. Mike, being confused as to what’s happening, didn’t move an inch which resulted into Jo Jo crashing into him. The door shuts behind them and they’re left in the front hallway of the apartment. 

Jo Jo didn’t move at first other than moving his head back to get a better look at what’s happening. His head is inches away from Mike’s, chests’ pressed up together, and limbs getting tangled. Both faces show obvious confusion and a hint of embarrassment at the situation they’ve gotten themselves. 

They stammer at their words, head scrambling all over the place as they try to figure out what’s the next move. Mike takes one step back with an awkward smile, an unnatural thing for him to do since he’s always so fun and relaxed.  

“I... wasn’t expecting to see you in there tonight” Mike tried to ease away the awkward tension. 

“Yeah, I just... I was looking for some company” Jo Jo explained. 

“Being single sucks, huh?” 

“I mean... not necessarily. I’m fine but it can get a little lonely” 

Mike nods along, returning to his easygoing demeanor, “Yeah, I get it. Ike basically leaves me stranded in our apartment when Hotshot comes to pick him up” 

Jo Jo just nods silently. 

So new information of the day: Mike is single. Jo Jo’s brain starts to get excited. But he knows better to shut that thought away with the knowledge of needing to consider in more factors. 

Mike coughs, taking this chance to look away. The moment is slowly getting awkward. The two boys not knowing what to do other than rocking themselves on their own pace to ground their nerves. 

“What’s the pot for?” Jo Jo blurted out, now fully realizing the awkwardness between them is slowly getting intolerable. 

“Oh, our parents are visiting tomorrow. We’re gonna make dinner for them” Mike answered, “And it’s Ike’s chance to introduce them to Hotshot so he wants things to go as smoothly as possible” 

Admittedly, Jo Jo has never felt the nervous feeling of introducing someone special to someone as important as parents, but he’s sort of associating it with what he’s feeling right now. The context is not the same yet he somehow understands the feeling by just standing here. 

“And... you’re not inviting anyone?” Jo Jo timidly asked, “I mean, I know you said you’re single but... there just have to be someone out there... right?” 

Mike scoffs with a smile and Jo Jo swears on his life his eyes just twinkled, “No point in asking them, we don’t even talk” 

Jo Jo laughs a little and scratches the back of his head, “I guess you’d be moving things a bit too fast if you did that” 

More awkward silence envelop the two. Jo Jo is praying for Kathrine to return with the pot. Although, he knows Kathrine is taking her time on purpose. But finally, the door opens again only Kathrine wasn’t the one walking out. 

“Eavesdropping to you two are going to be the death of me so I’m going to interrupt the conversation!” Sarah said, standing in between the two boys griping the pot with both hands. 

“Even from behind the door, I could sense the sexual tension and you guys have to do something about it or I’m about to throw hands!” Sarah continued on, “Admit it! Like literally just admit it: you like each other any dumbass can tell you that! Now kiss!” 

Sarah jots the pot in between her upper arm and her side so she can grip both of their shoulders and shoves the two forward. Somehow, they were able to capture each other’s lips perfectly. The boys’ eyes widen from the sudden act. Despite Sarah’s hand are no longer gripping their shoulders, they linger in the kiss for a few seconds because of the shock their brains are experiencing. 

The finally found the realization to pull away from each other, recollecting their scattered minds and steadying their breaths. Jo Jo is refusing to believe this is reality. He did not just kiss his crush right then and there for no reason!

“Now that we’ve established that, here’s your pot Mike!” Sarah shoves the pot towards Mike. He fumbles with the pot as he hasn’t fully has his feet back on the ground, much like Jo Jo, “Alright, see you later!” 

Sarah drags Jo Jo back in the apartment and shuts the door. She turns to a still shocked looking Jo Jo with a smile, “See? Progress right?” 

Jo Jo cocks his head to face Sarah, stuttering a few of his words before finally blurting out, “Not like that!” 

Kathrine watches the two from the couch, now occupying the newly popped popcorn, “I mean, that was kinda funny but I think you just ruined his chances now” 

“Well, I’m sorry. I just got annoyed from the pining!” Sarah exclaimed. She returns to her spot next to her girlfriend on the couch, leaving Jo Jo where he’s frozen in place and still trying to process what just happened. Sarah turns back to where Jo Jo is, “And for your information: I wasn’t lying. I know for a fact that he likes you!” 

Kathrine and Jo Jo gives her a questioning look. To which, she answers, “He admitted it himself” 

Jo Jo’s jaws drop and his eyes widen once again, tilting his head in wonderment, “WHAT?!”

was born and raised in nyc baby ! she’s a true city girl, grew up in lower manhattan ( the financial district if u wanna get specific ) to a family with lots of $$$$ thanks to her father’s position as a ceo of an investment bank located on wall street 

life was pretty smooth until she was 17 and her father got arrested for embezzlement and fraud </3 it was actually a huge scandal for the investment bank he worked for because it was a whole group of higher ups who had been in on these crimes. basically a bunch of already rich men trying to get richer ... disgusting ik /:

she comes across as ... kind of a bitch SDJBJWBJWBDW it’s truly not on purpose she just has a pretty serious resting expression most of the time ( so she looks mad or annoyed even when she isn’t ) and she’s pretty difficult to get to know ? not to mention the fact that no one has ever witnessed her ring someone’s love alarm .. so all that combined just makes it easy to assume she’s some sort of ice queen when that’s far from the truth /: 

violet really isn’t one to open up too deep to people, but that’s got a lot to do with the past she’s kind of running away from ! so if you’re her friend most of the stuff you know about her is probably surface stuff, but when she’s close to someone she can make that fact hard to realize ? she just has a way with making the people in her life feel important so it’s easy not to be focused on how much you know about her 

never bothers to correct the people that misjudge her. if you don’t like her, if you want to make up assumptions and rumors about her, go ahead like violet really won’t stop you which can sometimes make meeting new people difficult </3 if you’ve seen the dating class webdrama chuu was in she’s kinda like oh seyoung’s chara joowon 🤧

if she wants to, though, she’s pretty good at getting people to like her / trust her ! she does this a lot in professional situations, which is why she’s been doing so well as an art director so far despite being so young

cannot cook to save her life so she’s always eating out .. this really is why she’s taking those more high profile jobs she can’t budget .. but it’s better, safety wise at least, that she continues wasting her money on takeout aha <3

Angst ending- Deku focuses all the energy stored in OfA into his fist, including his own life force. He manages to defeat the villain, but not only his arm is ruined forever, but he manages to lift and clench it into a fist as a final gesture of victory, before dropping dead on the ground.

so im thinkin in the inevitable final battle we’re gonna have of ua vs. all for one and the league of villains, midoriya probably is gonna have to face off shigaraki and all for one all by himself (cause toshinori is not gonna be in any state to fight)(but i refuse to believe hs gonna be dead though nope no no)

maybe bakugou will be there for a couple of seconds but midroiya’s mostly gonna have to deal w it on his own

anyway so the nomus r the biggest problem. theyre strong and have absolutely no qualms abt hurting and killing ppl, and worst of all, they will not stop at anything unless u somehow manage to kill/incapacitate them bc they will Not stop obeying orders

and who gives them orders? shigaraki and all for one

midoriya picks up on this during their fight, so he’s trying as hard as he fuckign can to stop them bc holy shit his friends and teachers and schoolmates are all on the line and he CANNOT afford to mess this up

so as the battle wears on and as midoriya gets more exhausted, he realizes,,,theres only gonna be a couple ways to end this in his favor. and fuck, he’s so scared, he’s not even technically done with high school yet, he hasnt saved nearly enough people, but his friends, they need him to focus now, so-

so he starts building up one for all, but its gonna take time so he needs to figure out how he can distract all for one and shigaraki while he does this

so he talks and dodges attacks mostly bc he can’t attack at all if he wants a build-up of power

this leaves him,,,vulnerable,,,though,,,

shigaraki probs decays some of his chest nd hero suit, but its nothing midoriya can’t ignore for the time being. no, he’s mostly worried abt all for one, and if he’ll figure out what midoriya is doing

all for one does, in fact, figure out what midoriya is doing, bc this is exactly how his brother would act

so he does his power/red-black stabby quirk bs nd midoriya gets stabbed like three times (leg arm and shoulder) but still midoriya is holding on bc he needs their attention to stay on him so they cant give the nomus additional orders, nd also he needs to end this like yesterday

since midoriya is focusing on one for all, he can hear the other users’ voices. some of them are yelling at him, asking him what the hell he’s doing, doesnt he know he’s gonna kill himself?, some of them are shouting out directions for him to dodge and jump and run and anything to help keep him alive, and one voice (all for one’s brother) is telling him how to keep the power buildup so it wont rebound onto midoriya (…at least, not until it’s supposed to)

so midoriya listens, cause he cant really talk back to them to reassure them otherwise, nd he’s just. so exhausted honestly, and also his arm is starting to burn which is frankly the last thing he has time to worry about, but also it means it’s working, just a little longer-

midoriya feels smth click when his life force slides into the deal, nd all for one’s brother is kinda like “hey kid so problem” but midoriya still can’t talk back, and he can see his friends in the distance behind all for one and shiagraki on another part of the battlefield, and they look- they look-

theyre just as exhausted as he is, and theyre surrounded by nomu, and midoriya will not let them get hurt, so-

so he begins to charge, because when his life force connected with one for all’s power, he knew the build-up was ready to be used

all of the previous users are screaming at him for a hot second, before all for one’s brother gives midoriya directions on how and where to hit his brother to be most effective. midoriya ignores how sad and choked up he sounds cause he just doesnt have time-

just like all might, midoriya fakes one hit and parries with another; shigaraki is right next to them, a hand reaching out to disintegrate midoriya’s arm, so he gets caught up in the blast as well.

everything goes white for a moment and midoriya cant really feel anything for a split second.

then the world fades back in, and midoriya’s entire fucking body is burning, gaining intensity the closer you are to his arm. He’s almost certain his arm has been completely blown off, but when he opens his eyes, it’s still there.

horribly mutilated, but there. his hand is still curled into a fist, still punching all for one.

oh. all for one.

midoriya tries not to throw up at the sight.

yeah, he’s not getting back up again. the only problem is, midoriya thinks as he stumbles back a couple steps, he himself is probably not, either.

the force of the blow left him in a crater. he almost wants to cry, because dammit, everything is on fire; he knows that his entire arm and shoulder are broken, and it seems like everything else is not far behind. his nose and mouth are dripping blood, in addition to the flesh wounds on his chest (thanks, shigaraki) and the stab wounds from earlier bleeding like no tomorrow; how is he gonna climb out of here?

still, despite his grievances, midoriya shuffles forward, each step aching as he tries to claw out of the literal hole he’s punched himself into. he cant move the arm he punched with at all; his fist is still clenched.

still, he manages to heave himself up and out of the crater. the battle is at a standstill, is what he finds when he reaches the top.

some people have passed out from the sound, midoriya can see. jirou lies protected by yaomomo and kaminari as she tries to get her bearings again.

others have passed out due to the blast snatching oxygen away from them for a few precious moments. they’ll be fine, though, midoriya can tell; he can see kirishima’s chest rising and falling as he breathes unconsciously.

midoriya raises his gaze, exhuasted, to where his friends were in the distance, seconds before he punched all for one.

he can see shigaraki passed out, having hit the side of an upturned rock too hard, which was there thanks for pixie bob

his friends are okay. theyre stumbing to their feet, looking about, and he catches todoroki’s eye while they do so.

he smiles then, breathes out a sigh of relief – theyre okay – before raising his fist (the one that’s horribly mutilated; it hurts to move, but midoriya doesn’t care).

he starts falling back, then, and he can’t shift his feet to regain his balance.

he falls like a house of cards.

his breath rattles in his chest, and it’s how he knows he’s not long for this world, anymore.

he’s too exhausted to feel panicked, per se, but he- he’s gonna miss his friends so much, he’s gonna miss mom, toshinori-

tears start collecting in his eyes, but he’s too dehydrated to form enough of them that they can fall down his face freely.

he doesnt- fuck, he doesn’t regret doing it, he just-

he’s not going to last long enough for anyone to even get to him, he’s going to die with no goodbyes-

then the voices of the other users fill his head again.

their soft, sorrowful congratulations, reassurances that he did the right thing, and that dying is scary but it doesn’t hurt, and he’s going to be okay, wherever he ends up next.

it does little to ease the fear, but it does do something, so midoriya is thankful nonetheless.

im sorry, all for one’s brother says abruptly.

my fight with my brother should never have ended at the cost of a teenager’s life.

midoriya can’t help but laugh a little then. he coughs up blood for it. if all it took was one life, i’m glad it was mine. i wouldnt want anyone else to fall to him.

he closes his eyes, breathes out of a broken chest one more time. his lungs are too tired to inflate again.
