Ok so I might by chance be dumb? But um.. Volo as Barry's ancestor?? Idk if I haven't seen other people mention this because it's a stupid idea, or i just have missed it somehow. But like you can't tell me these two hairstyles aren't even a little similar.

And then there's the whole thing of Volo kinda acting like a rival how he just sorta pops up to talk with/fight u from time to time.

I mostly find this idea amusing cuz imagine if Barry ever let's his hair grow out it would continue to do the stupid reverse gravity thing Volo's does.

I was asleep for most of yesterday. and today as well. like I basically only woke up to eat, watch tv for a little bit, and then I fell asleep again. I'm so tired and dizzy.

I'm really hoping it'll be better tomorrow. I really gotta start/continue writing my thesis. 😭

this may be the shortest chapter so far, but it's also probably my favourite. it was just such an incredibly fun scene to write!! the dialogue was a blast! hope you enjoy

my worst trait is the need to get 12 hours of sleep every night. if i have to get up at 6am well i should be in bed by 6pm. combine this with my natural inclination to stay up really late and you get me waking up past noon because i was up past midnight. if there is no external force like school or a job keeping me on my early bedtime schedule i will revert to sleeping til noon within a few days

So like, either this whole world runs on cartoon physics, the tower Just Does That to those who reside in it, or something’s definitely up with peppino

Man can run at possibly mach speeds though that may just be an exaggeration and can keep running indefinitely, can survive ramming headfirst into a wall at said speed and possibly not even do lasting damage to himself, can run up walls, is able to pummel someone up into the sky, can survive hitting the top of the tower at terminal velocity, and do whatever the frick that superjump is

Now I’m sure we can chalk this up to cartoon logic but come on man, a middle aged man can only take so much, even with cartoon physics

And sure, we can say the tower did it, but we still see him running frickoff fast in the intro cutscene before he even gets to the tower, and continues with the ascending pizza pummel even long after leaving proximity of the tower, so something ain’t adding up

So like, yeah, to reiterate, cartoon/game physic copout explanation, the tower greatly exaggerates already present skills, or peppino truly is built different my vote is one of the latter two

ive done an insane amount of stuff in the last week. goodness gracious. all these high-effort tasks that ive been doing all day, in a row!!!!!!!! and i still have 2 days of assignments left but at least theyre just writing and editing and can be done in just one big sitting each...

i textured, added materials, lighted and rendered the room (first 3 images) in ONE DAY. i was up until 6 am. and that was after UV unwrapping every object for like 3 days straight.

the Fatalis drawing was done in 2 days. the Daydream sculpt was done in 4 days. this is a cry for help lmfao
