We had a nice walk through West Village NYC today during a vacation trip. What a beautiful, photogenic place.

There's a lot of cycling in Manhattan, including many deliveries being made by bike. NYC still has *way* too many cars; but over the course of 25 years worth of regular visits, I've seen cycling increase greatly.

I had an amazing birthday dinner at this cute and chic modern Austrian restaurant in West Village last night!

Food was fantastic and their wine selection was excellent!!! Very sophisticated and elegant vibe yet doesn’t feel too fancy.

new year, new journal! i've been having a lot of fun in NYC: hanging out with old college friends, going on first dates, and journaling at cafés !! the idea of heading back to campus for my last semester is dreadful but i'm excited for my return to the city once i graduate. NYC has changed so much since i lived here, it makes me a little wistful for a life i could have lived had i not left for law school :')) anyway, hope everyone has a wonderful new year's and see you in 2024 🥳🎉🥂
