I NEED TO TELL YOU ALL SOME HILARIOUS ROBERT PLANT STORY THAT MY FRIENDS TOLD ME:

Apparently their old teacher from high school worked at a boutique in Denver in the 70s. She told them that Robert apparently went to her shop to get some clothes during the 73 tour. He apparently was flirting with her quite a bit, and asked her to come to the hotel with him, but she was skeptical bc he was a rock star and she didn’t want to be a one night stand lol and said no thanks. (How this woman had the restraint to do that, I dont know).

APPARENTLY he was really tenacious, and came by later, got her address from her manager, and pulled outside her house in his car and was calling for her to come to the hotel and show with him! Really wanting her to “hang out” She went outside and said she appreciated the offer, but ultimately declined.

ITS SO FUNNY. Robert Plant getting declined by my friend’s teacher in the 70s bc she was scared she would get an STD is really funny to me.

i've finished The Killing Kind. i was really looking forward to it bc it seemed like something right up my street, but apart from the last 15 minutes it was disappointingly bad. colin was great as always and somehow managed to be the most likeable character in it. why was everyone so one dimensional? ingrid was so annoying, is she that annoying in the book?? just all round a very weak and boring story. hoping for a second series though obviously lol, gotta get more colin content in my life.

I'm reading Rishi Kapoor's autobiography and it's a pretty interesting and entertaining book. He talks a lot about filmmaking, music, and how the industry was back in his day. I've always been fascinated by how films (and the music) are made and what goes on behind the scenes, which he describes in great detail. I also enjoyed reading all the stories about the actors & actresses he worked with (embarrassing how I'm familiar with literally every single person he talks about). You can tell Rishi was passionate about his craft and loved cinema. I also agreed with a lot of his opinions regarding the current state of the industry 🤐

But my favorite thing is how he loved agarbattis (incense sticks) and brought them everywhere. I thought that was sweet because I also love them and light them whenever I'm stressed. I have a small collection of my own.
