for some reason, I hate hate hate hate hate how they did this scene in the anime.

it's one of my very favorite moments in the manga, and it's so important for both Isagi's development and his and Rin's relationship + the way the importance of luck is established in this scene and the way Isagi's goal at the U20 game comes back to this moment is *chef's kiss*

in the manga, this moment feels so important and epic (because it is), but in the anime, it was so whatever and so forgettable. geh
