AU where Meggy gets turned into a vampire and Mario gets turned into a werewolf
They were bit in completely separate incidents and are keeping it secret from everyone, including each other and the rest of the Crew.
Luigi's the only one who knows that Mario is a werewolf because he was there the night Mario got bit (well, nearly mauled to death is more accurate).
Meggy initially doesn't have anyone who knows about her being a vampire, at least until Whimpu happens to stumble across her while she's feeding.
Mario can shift voluntarily into either a very-big-but-seemingly-normal wolf form, himself with wolf features, or a big scary wolf-man form, but it takes him a while to properly figure out how both because he and Luigi have to figure it out with no help and because he's an idiot.
He's also got an uncontrollable fuckoff-Massive wolf form with a mind of its own that he turns into when there's a full moon.
He's got some wolf mannerisms now, obviously
While Meggy does have the classic vampire weaknesses, they're thankfully the manageable versions (so the sun does hurt her but sunscreen deals with it, mirrors and cameras only don't work if they have silver, needs to drink blood but can still eat normal food no problem (unless it as garlic obviously), etc.) since for plot reasons I need her to actually be able to keep it a secret.
She can shapeshift into a variety of animals, not just bats, and one form in particular makes all the shit she has to deal with now almost worth it: Vampire Squids are a thing that exists, which wouldn't matter for most vampires with how situational it would be (due to vampire squids specifically being deep sea squids) but in her case it means she gets to have her Swim Form again (though modified a bit since vampire squids have webbed tentacles with tooth-like spikes on the underside)
Also I know that vampire squids are actually octopi but let me have this
The vampire and werewolf that turned them are still at-large and causing trouble in the Mushroom Kingdom (including making more vampires and werewolves, many of which are less inclined than Meggy and Mario to not follow their new darker impulses), bringing all manner of monster hunters out of the woodwork to deal with the problem (some, like the Belmont Clan, are more competent and altruistic than others, like the Guards (because of course those two would want to get involved in the latest violent trend)), which is a large part of why the two of them are keeping themselves a secret
Another big part is of course the fact that Anti-Shroomy Exists
It also turns out that Bob was a big-name monster hunter a few hundred years ago, and shockingly he's easily the most competent of all the hunters in town, so the Bros, Meggy and Whimpu are understandably extremely wary of him right now
and as if the situation wasn't bad enough, Demon Peach has somehow managed to crawl her way out of the Creep Pit and is prowling the Kingdom (surprisingly stealthily for something of her size and disposition, I might add)
more details and (hopefully) some pictures to come in later posts

Can I request Yandere siren venti angst (like with a reader whose trying to hunt down mermaids and sirens for their scales ) for the Mytherials event, if you have time
A Sirens scales———————————
Yandere siren! Venti x hunter reader
————————————~—————~——————~———————~
【Cw: yandere tendencies, imprisonment, delulu venti, toxic relationship, slight angst】
————————————~—————~——————~———————~
“Oh honey it’s a virtue of mine to value freedom, but where do you think you’re going?”
Venti cooed, his lax feature’s sharpening into a grimacing smile as he noticed his darling chipping at the chain which encased their ankle.
“ The only way to the surface is to swim through this lagoon and I don’t think you have the lung capacity for that”
His head was peeking out from the watery surface of the underground lagoon. And he swam fluidly towards the spot where he held you captive surrounded by a shimmery circle of his blue iridescent scales.
“We had a deal… And this wasn’t part of it. I didn’t sign up to be your damn cave decoration”
You spat, a look of scorn apparent as you couldn’t help but berate yourself for being so dumb as to break monster hunter rule 101: To never trust the words of a siren, lest they drag your soul to depths of hell. But you were desperate for the money since you had a sick friend to take care of.
“Awe sweetheart don’t demean yourself like that. You’re no decoration but my lovely mate after all”
The siren purred as he emerged fully from the body of water to cast a wet hand against your cheek. Admiring you in your entirety, his touch that was gentle soon became all consuming after hearing your adamant rejection.
“What’re you talking about? I never agreed to become your mate. Just let me go home.”
You retorted as you continued to make work of the chain. While actively shying away from his slimy touch. The stark scent of sea salt made you nauseous.
“Don’t say that. You are my mate sweetie. Weren’t you the one to say that you wanted my scales to begin with?”
Venti tried to rationalize with a small chuckle as he started to apply pressure when he cupped both your cheeks. Sharp nails dug into your damp skin while he directed your gaze to his crazed ones.
“So why are you trying so hard to deny it?”
He asked, his voice was hollow as he stared deeply into your eyes with wide blown slits. You had to have known what accepting his scales would entail. So why couldn’t you understand that you guys were meant to be? He gave you his scales did he not? So why, were you trying so hard to constantly reject his advances.
You didn’t need to go back to the surface. Not after all the struggles you’ve told him about with your stay up there. What kind of lover would he be if he were to allow his precious human to be exposed to the dangers beyond his reach.
“Oh I know what’s holding you back! It’s that friend of yours isn’t? What’s his name, Ah it’s şçæřämœćħè right?”
Venti begrudgingly sounded out his name in clear distaste and didn’t know whether to laugh or sneer from how you immediately perked up at the mere mention of another man’s name. He couldn’t help but feel an envious bout of jealousy boiling deep within his gut. Well at least he knew what his priority should be, if the only thing tethering you to the surface was your friend then perhaps he could remedy that.
“Well rest assured your pretty little head darling! I’ll make sure to take extra care of him so sit tight I’ll have to make some trips”
In the end sure he did twist his words a little when he struck a deal with you, who seemed to be down on their luck. Promising you his scales in exchange for your prized company. Since he’s always been enamored watching your daily pathetic attempts at capturing a siren.
But he did uphold his end of the bargain did he not? He made sure to pluck out his scales and pile them around you enshrouding you in their glimmering shine. So it’s only fair that you start acting like a proper mate for him since he’ll be expecting a cave full of his guppies in the future.

shadowpeach. I am giving you free rein here. Just shadowpeach.
Pick A Flower (ShadowPeach)
This one is hella cheesy ngl, gotta hide it out of some slight embarrassment. I kind of liked how it turned out, but it's pretty short. Hope you enjoy!
“Who’re you?”
“Oh. You look just like me.”
“Friends? Why?”
Macaque was loyal once the King had found him. The monkey himself knew of his abilities, but he–like the king–was young, uncontrolled with his abilities. Greeted with the sight of demons, now brothers, Macaque made a promise to himself to watch over his companion. In his quest for immortality, Macaque joined him, staying behind and orbiting the sun to ensure his safety.
“You won’t stand a chance against us. Why not bow down to your king already?”
“Heaven won’t be able to ignore you after this. You’ll shine among the other gods!”
“Do you really need to head up there? You already proved your worth, Wukong, why not just stay here and enjoy the life we have?”
They defeated countless monsters and demons, letting the Sage prove his worth to heaven as his shadow watched from the ground, tending to their, now shared, subjects. Centuries passed as the Sage toiled in heaven, meaningless task after task before he came back, ready to battle the gods. Macaque joined him, ready for the fight, but against all of heaven, Wukong was captured, and several brothers had been taken or imprisoned already. Macaque lingered, effectively hiding in his shadows and away from the glares and mocking words of his brothers. They never liked him, choosing to spit at his wise cowardice.
“I’ll keep waiting for you.”
“I’m sorry.”
“We should head back to the waterfall. I hear no other heartbeats on the island.”
So, Macaque became the one to regroup his subjects, caring for the younger ones who had been forced to shed blood before they could even grow tall. It had been centuries since Macaque had seen Wukong, their last interaction being a parting of ways from the mountain.
“I’ll protect you. I won’t leave you like your king did.”
“I would’ve helped if I could.”
“You did it for yourself.”
Macaque’s home was no longer his, but even then, he couldn’t help but aid in their efforts once the ruthless Erlang set fire to the mountain, hunters claiming subjects as food and mere entertainment. Macaque retrieved the subjects he could find, the waterfall becoming their shelter as Macaque tried to collect who had been taken away. In his search, Macaque was met with the most disgusting, almost hilarious sight.
“I’ll find them. All of them. No one will bother this island after I’m through with those monsters.”
“The fires have stopped. Do not leave the waterfall unless you need food or water. Be wary of what remains about there.”
“So this is where the Great Sage lurked off to?”
There he was, Sun Wukong, Great Sage Equalling Heaven, leashed like a dog to some mortal with a foolish quest. Macaque watched as the Sage was sent away, his heart softening at the speed in which Wukong fled home. Macaque set on his quest, choosing to pocket his observation for later. With newly learned portals and a greater ability in his magic, Macaque had returned lost monkeys back home.
It was then that the dark monkey could enact his revenge, to free his partner from the muzzle that trapped him with such a lowly group.
“I won’t allow anyone to make a mockery of him.”
“Go off now. I have business to attend to with some people.”
“He’ll be freed from this mess once and for all.”
It was easy really, to be Wukong. Macaque found comfort in his stories, learning how to act and perform various characters and personalities. It lightened up darker days without their sun where ash would cover the skies and rain would fall black as tar. No, to Macaque, it was a game, seeing how far he could go while staying under the radar. Those foolish men saw nothing but Wukong acting more subdued, something sparking like a flame that flickers wildly in the wind yet still remains in the pit it burns, and that is exactly what Macaque needed.
In the dead of night, Macaque laid in his disguise, his plan so close to completion.
Macaque had gained the trust of Wukong’s captors, and they slept thinking they were protected. Yet, the moon’s light hid away this week, casting the night in shadows. Macaque released his form, glad to feel the comfort of his body.
Yet, before he knew it, Wukong had done more than get captured. He had betrayed his kingdom and his brothers. He had betrayed the gentle love between both celestial primates, and Macaque laid on the ground, screaming to his angered lover.
“Wukong! Stop! Please, stop, I–!”
But, the sun’s light had risen, casting away the moon for eons to come.

So what's Ford's motivation of research in your Monster Falls au? Is he fascinated by humans and wants to study them without bias? Does he want to publish a paler that would make monsters consider coming out of hiding? Are they even from the same dimension??? What would this au's version of Weirdmageddon look like?
HEHE SO- Ford's motivation:
Ford’s motive for research is similar to the original–he wants to document the weird and the unknown. Even as monsters, I can imagine there’s ALOT that has yet to be discovered–I can imagine Ford is also just rlly into that stuff in gen! He ofc still has the journals, tho they are ofc gonna differ slightly in content cuz some of the stuff in the Journals would already be ‘normal’ occurrences/creatures in his everyday life
Is he fascinated by humans and wants to study them without bias?
Yes and no. He is indeed fascinated with humans, but he’s smart enough to not barge into human settlements. The only reason Ford ended up trusting Bill is because Bill, surprisingly, nursed him back to health when Ford stepped into a trap (which may or may not have been a trap Bill had set up lol). Ford decided that humans couldn’t be THAT bad if Bill had helped him (he was incredibly wrong). Thus, he started feeling comfortable enough to ask questions, draw humans, write them down in his journals, etc. So yeah but also, it wasn't his initial plan--he is indeed incredibly fascinated in them, but part of it was also because the human he was researching was also Bill Does he want to publish a paper that would make monsters consider coming out of hiding?
Kind of!! Not exactly a paper, but he wanted monsters and humans to work together instead of being fearful of each other. He saw how Bill and himself worked and he thought; 'why were we so afraid of humans?' Ford and Bill, instead of working on the portal, were trying to figure out a way for humans to find / cross the barrier protecting Gravity Falls.
Are they even from the same dimension???
Yes!! In my version, Gravity Falls is a town of monsters w/ a barrier protecting them from humans. It's impossible for human to find the town on their own (if a human tries finding it, even with directions, they'll end up walking in circles and never finding it), and they’re also unable to cross it even if they DO find it. They found this out when Ford insisted that he come to Gravity Falls, so that they could go further into their research (Bill at this time, offered to help, and has been helping Ford with his journals and research); with Ford’s guidance, Bill ‘found’ Gravity Falls. However, it quickly became apparent that while Ford could step through this barrier, Bill could not. The next part of the research is like I had said before, trying to make Gravity Falls accessible to humans.
What would this au's version of Weirdmageddon look like?
HEHE basically a free for all hunting ground!! I’d imagine that Bill’s Henchmaniacs are also humans, and also monster hunters :3 They get free rein of a town FULL of the thing they hunt, what else do u think they're gonna do? /silly
Tumblr media
I'm still tweaking a lot of the smaller things (and... a lot of other plot points) but that's basically around what I have :D Ty for asking this, this was so fun to answer <33 if anyone else has more questions, or ideas, defo send an ask >:D

Rewatching NFCV with @woodchipp and @the-crow-binary has been miserable so far.
Not because of them, of course: we all need each other to bear the Peak. but holy shit I forgot how mindnumbingly boring the show is. it's way worse at a second watch because now I know how much it falls apart! We're only at S2E3 as of this post!
S1 is the best season, and even that is largely forgettable, especially S1E3 which wastes 22 minutes of my life to say "here's the bishop. he's proof that CHURCH BAD". But S1E1 may be the best or second best episode of the whole show thanks to Dracula and his performance... and isn't that sad, that the show peaks at the very beginning? The rest of the show is just... Trevor doing his stuff (while the framing mostly makes fun of him), talking, some fighting, and CHURCH BAD. As positives, I still like Trevor's mini-arc in this season, and the vague effort to be faithful to CV3 (Sypha being petrified by a cyclops, falling down a chasm to find Alucard).
S2 is terrible. Yes we're still less than halfway through. I already hate everything.
I hate Alucard becoming a legend to the point that the Wallachians name his Alucard (as in, Dracula's opposite) after only a year - why couldn't he name himself Alucard? Why complicate matters so much? Isaac calling him Alucard, and Dracula recognizing the name, makes absolutely no sense: how do they know about it? Dracula lost contact with his son one year ago and I doubt Wallachian human legends have reached him. And Isaac was in the Sahara until sometime after Lisa died!
I hate Alucard himself. He's a cunt. He does nothing but insult Trevor and the Belmonts without provocation, and it's not funny banter, he's mean! He's genuinely cruel! He hears that Trevor lost his family at 12, and he can only say "lol and lmao I had more of a childhood than you. anyway they were mentally ill and child killers, they sacrificed chickens and hoarded dead cats". And this piece of shit is the most popular character of the show??? he's not even pretty what are y'all seeing 😭
(it's also weird how he's all angsting about killing his vampire father, but he hates the Belmont for being vampire hunters. bro. bro you're also about to hunt a vampire. why are you defending a race of monsters so staunchly. not even a hint of, I don't know, a Belmont hurting him when he was a child because he was confused for a full vampire? Remember that logically, a vampire child is a child turned into a vampire, we have no other indication that dhampirs are running all around the world. I know that in the games he seems fully on board with "vampires bad and me bad for being half vampire", but you have the chance of making it better and you squander it?)
Sypha is also ruder than I remembered. I think she suddenly became more cheerful in S3 and that's why I liked her, but also girl, you keep criticizing Trevor for being rude and not consoling you, but you look at him with a perpetual resting bitch face and insult the Morning Star calling it an "ugly thing"? Why does Trevor even bother with the likes of you? How is Trephacard the most popular ship in the franchise?
I hate Isaac. Oh, I gave him the benefit of the doubt back then, because I really wanted to understand why he became the fan favorite. But now? No, I'm sorry, he's overrated as fuck. He's so damn pretentious, his speech about how he wants a pure world without love is terrible from the lens of him being a Muslim who is devoted to the Devil, and his backstory is so tryhard and historically inaccurate that I almost prefer Hector's past being exposed through voiceover.
Oh, and Hector, I hate his scenes. Because he's actually treated with dignity. He's fine! I actually like the guy! I like the scene where he rebukes Godbrand (who as a character only exists to attract infodumps and to question Dracula) because "I have to work" - he sounds actually proud of his role, if not even competent, perish the thought. Also by reading the scripts online I forgot that he was the one who yelled "you do not question my loyalty!". Which I like a lot? I can hear the real Hector protesting like that out of pride, even if in private he would admit that he disagrees with the bloodshed. And the scene where he soothes the newborn Night Creature... yeah, this character used to be written with respect, and knowing how he gets tortured and disrespected and used for rape apologism by a sex pest hurts even more. Also, in retrospect, the scene where he stares at the fire while reminiscing about the day he set fire on his own childhood home doesn't go anywhere, even as the finale of S3 echoes it :^)
And Dracula, oh my poor man Dracula. He's already being presented as an ineffectual depressed old man spending his time staring at a fireplace, who can't even command his presence in the war room, who allows Carmilla to insult him and Lisa in front of everyone - it's so embarrassing how he gets the Red Eyes of Fury and then he simply... lets her go after he gets the flimsy explanation of "yeah I humiliated you because everyone is asking themselves the same question. I wanted to help <3" girl (Dracula), she's a mere regional ruler, as she herself said??? why do you need her so much that you allow her to do this shit??????? oh but then you posture to godbrand, he gets to be threatened because... he's not relevant to the plot i guess. fucking pathetic. what have they done to my man.
(and I hate Carmilla. but that has never changed. annoying smug ass #girlboss with the charisma of spoiled seafood. her way of manipulating Hector isn't even manipulation, it's just her telling him very plainly what she wants him to do. She and Lenore utterly suck at their job, and they only get their way because muh plot)
And then there's the infodumping. Oh my god these people won't shut the fuck up. Godbrand is like "why should we listen to two humans?" and Dracula dumps twice that he trusts Hector and Isaac for their human nature (which, again, it's a decent reasoning, but it goes on and on and even they should know, I get it). Alucard dumps about the apocalyptic scenario where Dracula wins and rules over a world without humans... but he only describes it as we look into his ugly face, instead of doing something more creative like actually showing what would happen. Hector gets this random flashback-through-sound, shoved there as if Ellis didn't know where to put it in the script; later on he explains to Carmilla the origin of Night Creatures, as if ever remotely matters. Isaac dumps about his jihadist philosophy about how by killing humans he and Dracula will create a pure world. Carmilla randomly reveals her Tragic Backstory after kicking Godbrand down the stairs, another scene I can't stand because it's all about what a #queen she is and how she's better than Dracula. At one point they seriously discuss about the myth of vampires unable to cross running water, which is a moot point anyway because Carmilla resorts to using a zombie bishop to bless the river!! No I will never let it go!!!
(also I love that in the one occasion where Alucard has the chance of describing his childhood, he retells the tale of Lisa meeting Dracula, something we've already seen and he was also obviously told about, not something he experienced himself. They couldn't even come up with another anedocte to actually tell us what kind of mother Lisa used to be. so lazy)
This show is half people sitting in a circle and talking, and half average fight scenes. Yeah at this point not even those impress me anymore. I'm serious when I say that Knuckles' fight scene in Divergence, also animated by Powerhouse Animation Studios, is of a better quality than what the show has offered.
And this is why I'm so reluctant to watch Nocturne. If the best seasons of this highly acclaimed show are so painful to sit through, how are we going to survive a sequel series that not even the fans liked it as much?

In honor of he who died and rose after three days in the grave and now grants life ever lasting to his followers I thought it only right I got into the spirit once. So Dracula, this one's for you:
Tumblr media
Just look at it.
You have what appears to be (and is) an accountant being menaced by boobalicious vampire women twice his size, so he's got Ethan Winters beaten to the punch by 34 years. But don't be fooled. One glance into his 30-yard stare and its obvious why only Mr. Weems can stop these sinister She-Vampires:
Weems is dead on the inside yet still living, where the she-vampires are animated from within with life, while dead.
He is their antithesis.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So yeah, a pile of jank with a fun name crossed my path, and now you all have to hear about it. If you're not hitting 'J', you have no one to blame but yourself.
Released on a scad of systems, but mostly the ZX Spectrum and the C64, The Astonishing Adventures of Mr. Weems & the She-Vampires is a sort of 'Gauntroidvania'. It's also trying to push the limits of how titillating a pre-NES era game could be, though the C64 port's interface missed that memo.
The hacked c64 version was the one I played, but giantbomb had a lot of gifs from the ZX verison that I've upscaled for demonstration purposes.
Tumblr media
The only bit of story is from the back package. Weems wants to feel something, so he's decided to take on the Great She-Vampire or die in her buxom grasp. Fair.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This game is not recommended for people with epilepsy, dignity, or in general.
Mr. Weems has a garlic gun to defend his ever-dropping blood supply (vampire hunter is an odd professon with anemia) and destroy the baddies...
Tumblr media
All three of them, which are all introduced on the first screen!
You've got bats, they pop out of pots and attack you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The manual says these guys are Frankenstein's' monsters, but they're clearly the giant from Twin Peaks trying to warn you that you've bought a dud.
On the C64, the lesser she-vampires are clearly based on Dracula's brides, whereas on the ZX, they're more like ghosts with big naturals.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which means that to get both kinds of vampire babe from the secondary cover, you'd have to buy a cassette for your c64, and and for your ZX. And I don't mean a cartridge, I mean a, Cassette tape.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you manage to stalk your way all the way to the end and find the gear you need to destroy her, the Great She-Vampire awaits:
Tumblr media
There's no boss fight, but there is a 1 pixel nip, at least on the ZX spectrum.
From there you book it back the way you came, only every screen now has a she-vampire chasing you in a murderous rage. Make it out, and you win. Or maybe you didn't, because just like the Dungeon of Fear and Hunger, you can never really escape Mr. Weems & the She-Vampires.
Only Weems increases the immersion by truamatizing you, the player. Mr. Weems is fine. You don't have to worry about the Weems.
Tumblr media
So...
Is it a good game?
Tumblr media
Not remotely, but that isn't the point in the slightest.
It's temping to say this is the Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies of video games, but that's not quite right. Weems has promise and ISCWSLaBMUZ doesn't make promises. It issues threats.
Mr. Weems has the charm of a concept that's all potential and zero execution. A dead-eyed accountant gunning his way in a Gauntlet-esq blitz through a vampire-babe infested castle is a fun idea, more-so with all the secret passages and 'gather items and backtrack to the boss' aspect. It's just everything else that goes wrong.
Tumblr media
I mean, who doesn't want to hunt the Great She-Vampire to her penthouse for a good staking, I ask you?

So apparently one of the guys who worked on the Metroid Prime series mentioned how he wants to make a game about time travel on a planet with mechanics similar to the Light/Dark worlds in Echoes and. We're all agreeing this is what Beyond will be about. We see portals in that jungle location. Its logo is based off of a black hole, which are known to distort time, and famously this was even a major plot point in the film Interstellar a while back, which had a black hole be used to travel back in time.
This could be a lot of fun narratively, because I think of how we learned Bryyo's history in the previous game through lore scans. So what if the time travel mechanic was used to show the development and collapse of this new world we're exploring, but in real time as Samus visits different periods in history? It could be a form of environmental storytelling, in addition to the more direct scans she uses.
It also makes me think about Sylux; I don't think we have any confirmation on what his home planet of Cylosis is like. I know some of us assume the icy world he appears in during the intro of Hunters is Cylosis, but it isn't necessarily. So what if this jungle planet is Cylosis? What if the time travel mechanic is used to explore Sylux's backstory, in a way to really flesh him out as a character? We fight different versions of Sylux across time. Maybe even two at once. We see how Cylosis could've fallen apart because of the Galactic Federation.
Maybe we even get to visit the future and that’s why the game is called Beyond, because we’re exploring beyond history. Samus could see a version of herself where she won or didn’t, same with Sylux who’d still hold a grudge. Maybe Sylux is using time shenanigans to change Cylosis’ future because maybe it isn’t doomed yet. Maybe he’s from the future, even, after accidentally flying the Delano 7 through a black hole!!! And his knowledge of the past allowed him to slip past Federation security, know what they have stored and where and when, etc. It’s why nobody’s heard of Sylux, he hasn’t happened yet. And what made him hate the Federation hasn’t happened yet either, which is why most are baffled regarding his motives.
On a final note, and this is getting into some mad, silly, conspiracy theory territory. But given the hype of Sylux's mysterious identity, and don't take this too seriously. What if Sylux is future Samus. What if it's Samus after experiencing Fusion and possibly more yet-to-happen events, who became deeply disillusioned with the Federation and even saw them as the true cause of the Space Pirates from a systemic sense. And as a result she became more sympathetic to the Space Pirates, opting not to blame the symptom but the root cause (That, or she's just using them and plans to betray the pirates as well).
At some point in the future, she got sent back to the past, landing in Cylosis but without her Chozo power suit. So she used her knowledge from working with the Federation to infiltrate a facility and find a substitute, replacing her power cannon with the Shock Coil, and the morphball with the Lockjaw.
She can't just tell or warn everyone about the truth, because she came from the future without any real physical evidence, plus this is stuff that has yet to happen; She'd just be dismissed as yet another conspiracy theorist, plus being open about the time travel stuff could be a whole can of worms. Sylux hates her past self for her mistakes and foolishness, because she’s got hella self-loathing; She’s trying to prevent the monster she helped create.
Sylux uses her knowledge of the past to infiltrate the Federation and hatch a Metroid when they have one; At this point she's already awakened her Metroid DNA, which we know has Queen potential, and that's how she can control them. The Mochtroids are an attempt to boost Metroid numbers while she oversees other methods.
Present-Day Samus defeats Sylux and learns the maddening truth, wondering what the Federation has done, or will do, to break that trust so completely. Beyond's story ends with Samus prepared, but also wary of who she might become if she doesn't get a handle on herself and become Sylux all over again. Knowing her future gives her insight to prevent it and create a better timeline where she isn't pushed to that desperation, so in a way maybe Sylux DOES succeed.
Plus, you could combine this with the full circle theory that Sylux will be revealed as a woman just as Samus was at the start, but take it a step further by having it be the same woman behind the armor all along!!!

A Spirited Love
Summary: Several years ago, you found a clone helmet on the black market, with his Spirit bound to it. And now, you and Jesse are partners, and maybe more.
Tagging: ARC Trooper Jesse x Reader
Word Count: 2773
Warnings: Smut. Sex between a ghost and a human. Breeding kink. Mentions of Order 66
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni
A/N: So, I had an idea, and while this wasn't originally going to be smut, it became smut, so go me? Why am I like this when it comes to Jesse. I may, or may not, write a sequel to this one if there's any interest.
Tumblr media
You like your job. More than just like it, honestly. You love it.
It’s not the safest, perhaps, but it is important.
You’re a ghost hunter.
Well. Sort of.
You also hunt down other monsters and crawlies that go bump in the night.
And you’re not the only Ghost Hunter on Coruscant, but you are the most effective. Largely because you spend most of your time researching and actually hunting monsters, rather than talking about it to the news.
Sure, this means that you don’t get quite as many cases as some other agencies, but the cases you do get tend to be more complicated than some of the larger agencies can handle.
Which is ironic, if you think about it too hard.
The biggest downside to your career, is that you work, almost exclusively, at night. Which means that you don’t exactly have a bustling social life. Which is totally fine with you…you have all the friends you need.
You push into your office (which is also your apartment) and lightly rap two knuckles on the helmet sitting neatly on your desk, “Rise and shine, beautiful.”
Nothing happens for a moment, and then the helmet’s visor glows for a moment, and the next moment a spirit is standing next to your desk. The man, a former ARC Trooper for the GAR, stretches and yawns, and then flashes a lopsided grin at you, “You look like shit, babe.” Jesse says as he folds his legs to float in the air next to you.
“Yeah, yeah. I’d like you to deal with a Woman in White without coming out looking a little ragged.” You grumble as you drop into your seat behind your desk, “Anything exciting happen while I was out?”
“Mm. The assholes from the Redd Agency tried to break in, so I activated your defenses.” Jesse replies easily, as he floats over to hover jest next to you, “They’re getting pushier.”
You make a face, “I know, I know.” You push your fingers through your hair, and then lean your chin on the palm of your hand, “I’ll just have to start bringing you with me when I go on cases.”
“That was always my preference.” Jesse agrees, “Have you found a way to transfer my connection?”
“I have.” You pull a necklace out of your pocket, “What do you think?”
“Hm…” He takes the necklace from your hand, and examines it closely. For a spirit, Jesse is surprisingly solid, capable of interacting with objects with an ease that surprises you to this day.
You lean back in your seat and you watch Jesse curiously, awaiting his decision.
Five years ago, the Galaxy was at war. The Republic against the Separatists. Four years ago, the Jedi were eradicated when Palpatine enacted order 66, activating the control chips in the Clone Soldiers, and Palpatine turned the Republic into his own personal Empire.
Three and a half years ago things went…wrong.
Here’s what you know from your investigations over the years. It started with a tear under what used to be the Jedi Temple. A small tear, small enough that, had anyone noticed it, this whole event could have been stopped before it began. But either no one noticed it, or no one cared to notice it.
The longer it was ignored, the larger the tear grew, until it was too large to be ignored…and too large to be closed.
And then things started happening. What things, exactly, you’ve never been able to figure out, as anyone who witnessed it first hand either died to the first wave of monsters…or became monsters themselves.
But what is commonly accepted knowledge is that Palpatine’s actions directly led to the situation as it now exists.
It also led to the 5 km deadzone, centered on the former Jedi Temple. No one lives in the deadzone, no one living can enter the deadzone without getting ripped to shreds.
As of now, it’s patrolled by B1 battledroids.
As for Jesse-
Your gaze drifts to his helmet, according to him he was killed when his ship went down soon after Order 66 went out. And when the event started, his soul ended up getting bound to his helmet. You have a theory that Jesse’s not actually dead, but until such time that you’re able to get to Mandalore to investigate you’ll keep your theory to yourself.
Still, in three years, Jesse’s the most unique spirit you’ve ever met.
“This should work. You’ll be okay wearing me every day?” Jesse asks with an arched brow.
“It’s an anchor, Jess. Not you personally.” You reply with a roll of your eyes as you take the necklace back, “Do you know what you have to do to anchor yourself to it?”
“Better than you do.” He counters snarkily, “Go ahead and lay the necklace on top of my helmet, and then move both into your bedroom.”
You raise an eyebrow.
“Don’t give me that look, I’m not going to peek at you in the shower.” Jesse says as he folds his arms, “I’m not going to be able to sound the alarm if someone breaks in while I’m moving.”
“Fine, fine.” You push to your feet with a groan, the aches and pains from the night coming back to haunt you, and you grab his helmet and the necklace and head into your room.
You set Jesse’s helmet on your bedside table, and carefully lay the necklace on top of it. And Jesse leans over your shoulder, “Hm…that looks right.” He’s warm, both his body pressed against your back and his breath against your neck. It’s weird. Spirits, ghosts, are cold. Not warm.
You reach up and light pat his cheek, solid, warm, and you can even feel his stubble under your fingers.
Jesse really is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. “Have fun moving,” You say as you step around him, you’re not sure you’d be able to walk through him if you tried. “I’m going to shower.”
His eyes are bright, “Want some company?”
“You need to get moving.” You point out.
“That’s not a no,” He replies with a grin, and you roll your eyes, causing him to laugh. Jesse winks at you, and then he blinks out of sight, and as you turn towards the fresher, you notice the helmet and the necklace glowing faintly.
By the time you shower, tend to your bruises, and step back into your bedroom properly, Jesse is standing in the center of the room again, holding the necklace in one hand.
“Done already?” you ask, as you walk over to him.
“Yup.” He offers the necklace to you, “Have I ever mentioned how grateful I am that you’re willing to keep me safe, and haven’t tried to throw me in the furnace yet?”
“Repeatedly,” You say as you take the necklace and hang it around your neck. The pendant sits between your collar bones, and it’s warm, almost as though Jesse’s hand was pressed against your chest. “Hm…it’s warm.”
“Is that a problem?”
“No. It’ll just take some getting used to.” You climb into your bed and flop on your pillow with a pleased groan, your eyes closing, “Are you good to keep watch, Jess?”
“Yeah, cyare. I have you.”
*********
You sleep like the dead, HA!
Okay, you sleep like the dead are supposed to, and only wake when your alarm chimes loudly in your ear.
You groan and roll over to smack your alarm, and consider going back to sleep for a whole minute.
“You need a vacation, cyare.” Jesse says, sounding annoyingly chipper for…6 at night.
“As if I can afford a vacation.” You mumble as you sit up and blink blearily at him, “Evening, Jess.”
He grins at you, “You could if you took a job at one of the bigger agencies.”
“Pfft. No thanks.” You flop back on your pillow, “I’m perfectly happy with actually getting stuff done.”
Jesse’s grin widens, and you feel the bed dip as he settles on the bed next to you. “You’ve been working non-stop for months, cyare. You need a break.”
“You’re not wrong, but I also need to eat.”
“Well, you don’t have any cases tonight.” Jesse points out, and you feel his hand, warm and surprisingly solid, against your stomach, and then his fingers against your side. You turn your head to look at him, though you don’t try to stop him.
There’s something wistful on his face, “Jess?”
“Stars but I want you.”
You blink at him, lazily, “I know.”
His fingers dip under your tank top and glide against your skin, “It should bother you, cyare. I’m not exactly alive.”
You shrug, “It doesn’t.”
Jesse’s fingers pause, and he stares at you, and you stare right back at him. He leans in and slowly presses his lips against yours. His lips are warm and soft, and so very hesitant, as though he can’t believe that you’re allowing this.
Honestly, you can’t believe it either. It goes against just about every rule of ghost hunting you’ve ever heard.
But you are curious…plus it’s Jesse.
He shifts so he’s able to push the blanket to the foot of the bed, and then he kneels between your legs, his hands trail up your bare legs, over your hips, and slide under your shirt to push the thin material up, and then off.
His touch is reverent, as he glides his hands over your breasts, his fingers lingering on you pebbling nipples, while his gaze hungrily drags down your body.
“Beautiful,” Jesse murmurs as he pulls back and peels his shirt off. You watch, in a sort of absent curiosity, as the shirt fades away as though it wasn’t there to begin with.
And then scientific curiosity is washed from your mind as he pulls your hands to his chest, and he leans in to wrap his lips around one of your nipples. A faint moan slips from your lips as desire shoots down to your core, and you eagerly drag your hands down his firm chest.
He moves from one nipple to the other, taking his time to lavish it with just as much attention as the first received, and he’s rewarded with a louder moan. A noise that pulls a pleased groan from him.
“Stars, you're perfect,” Jesse mumbles, before he taps your hips, “Lift them, cyare. Need you naked.”
Obediently, you lift your hips and Jesse mumbles praise under his breath as he slides your panties down your legs and tosses them to the side. His dark gaze is locked on your slick, and he unconsciously drags a finger through your folds, before he brings his finger to his mouth to lick it clean, a moan of pure desire falling from him.
You move to settle your hips back on the bed, but he grips your hips tightly, keeping them raised off the bed.
“Hold on, cyare,” Jesse whispers reverently, as he grabs a spare pillow and shoves it under your hips, “Are you comfortable?”
You nod mutely, and he leans in to lightly nip the side of your neck, “Use your words, angel. Need to hear your voice.”
“I’m good,” You say, slightly breathlessly.
“Good.” Jesse exhales slowly, as he lets your legs fall open, and his gaze locks on your pussy, “So pretty. Such a pretty pussy,” He tugs his own pants down, and, like his shirt, it vanishes as though it never existed in the first place.
“Jess-” You whine his name as you feel him, hard and hot, right against where you need him the most.
“I have you, angel.” Jesse murmurs, but he doesn’t slide into you. No, he just rocks against you, his hard cock bumping your clit with every flex of his hips, “Do you have any idea how long I’ve wanted this, cyare?”
“Tell me,” You gasp.
“Mm,” He leans down and kisses you, deeply and passionately, no longer hesitant, “Every day since you found me.” Jesse murmurs, “Would fist my cock every day, thinking about stuffing my cock in that tight pussy of yours. Would get off on the idea of filling you over and over and over-” He groans low in the back of his throat, and his hand slides down to your stomach, “Would get off on the idea of you swelling with my seed-”
You whimper, and try to rock against him, and Jesse grins.
“Oh, my pretty girl has something of a breeding kink, does she?” He kisses you again and again.
You flush, “Jesse…”
“Tell me,” He orders, his voice low and heavy with desire, “Tell me you want my cock. Tell me you want me to fill you over and over-” He slots his weeping cock at your entrance, “Tell me what you want, my perfect girl, and I’ll give it to you.”
You whine, “Want you,” You manage to gasp out.
“You have me. I’m not going anywhere. Be more specific.”
You groan in frustration, “Jesse…please!”
“Tell me.” He repeats, “Use those pretty words of yours, angel.”
“Want your cock!” You blurt, “Please!”
And sharp moan rips from your lips as he pushes deep inside you, and starts at an almost punishing pace. And you love it. You arch your back to meet his thrusts and trail your fingers over his abdomen and chest, able to feel his muscles flexing under your fingers.
He pushes you closer and closer to your orgasm, his grip bruising around your hips, and then, just as you’re about to fall over the edge, he pulls out, and you release a broken cry of his name.
He chuckles low in the back of his throat, and then effortlessly flips you onto your knees. Gently, but firmly, he places his hand between your shoulder blades and pushes your head into your pillow, before he slides back into you and continues his punishing pace.
“Gonna fill you, cyare.” Jesse groans as he reaches around you and starts quickly rubbing your clit, “Going to fill you over and over, until you can’t walk, until I’m the only thing you can think of.”
You whimper and clench tightly around him, pulling a deep groan from him.
His finger starts moving even faster, “Come on, cyare. Come for me.” He bites down on your shoulder and then the back of your neck, “Fall apart for me, baby. I have you.”
You shudder, and whimper at the, almost, overwhelming sensations, and then you fall apart around him with a cry of his name. Jesse curses, and pulls his hand away from your clit to tightly grip your hips, his thrusts grow harder, and then his pace falters and his thrusts become shallow.
Jesse buries his face in the back of your neck as he spills his release deep inside you, praise and moans falling from him in equal measure. And only when he’s sure he’s totally spent, does he pull out, and fall onto the bed next to.
You sink, bonelessly, to the bed, and hum in pleasure as he shifts and adjusts you so that he’s able to press light kisses to your head, “So much better than just my imagination,” Jesse mumbles.
And you laugh, turning your head slightly to face him, “Yeah?” You ask, still slightly breathless.
“Yeah.” He turns his head to look at you, and his arm wraps snugly around you, “I hope we can do it again?” Jesse asks hopefully.
You smile at him, “I wouldn’t say no.”
Jesse grins, “Did you know that I love you?” He offers, totally honestly.
“Well, you had better, because I don’t sleep with just anyone.”
His eyes brighten, and he opens his mouth to say something, only to get interrupted by the shrill sound of  your comm dinging. He scowls at the device, and his scowl deepens when you roll over to grab it.
“Let me guess, you have a case.” Jesse mutters.
“We have a case.” You correct as you scan the information. And then you smile at him and tap the necklace hanging around your neck, “You can come with me now.”
His scowl vanishes into a delighted smile, “Finally!”
You glance at him as you roll out of bed on shaky legs, “Oh, by the way. I love you too.”
And Jesse beams at you, his delight causing him to float off the bed.
Someday, you’ll have to find a way to explore Mandalorian Space, to see if you can find out what happened to Jesse’s body, and you’ll have to have a difficult conversation with him. But right now, well, right now you have a job to do.

My fucked up Belmont family headcanon
Or: Let me talk about medieval religious persecution!
Tumblr media
Okay, my exam is done, weekend is near. And a couple of days ago @autumnmobile12 posted about the child skull in the Belmont family hold.
So let me use this chance to talk about my headcanon both about the Belmont family - and the role of dhampirs in the Castlevania anime universe.
Please note, this at times outright contradicts the game canon. But in quite a few ways the series already does that either way, so to quote one Trevor Belmont: "I don't care."
When the trio comes to the Belmont Hold, Alucard expresses his disgust saying it is like a museum to the eradication of his species. And it kinda seems even more than that, given there are also quite a few other skeletons and what not from other monsters littered throughout the hold.
And, well... That is kinda messed up, right?
Tumblr media
Now in the games the story somewhat goes "Leon is a knight and friends with Mathias, fiancé gets kidnapped, lays down his title, Mathias turns into Dracula, Leon swears to kill monsters, Belmonts become monster hunters." And while this gives a nice through line tying the family to Dracula... historically speaking it is also kinda boring.
So, I decided to tie the entire story back to something else.
And yes, this is mostly just another excuse for me to talk about history. Sorry about that.
Let's talk about Constantine and the late Roman empire.
Tumblr media
If you have read up on your history of Christianity, you might know that first Christians were in fact a persecuted minority, who would in fact often be killed and burned by the Romans. But then in the late Roman period, Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity and suddenly Rome was a Christian empire. Now, there are myths and legends around why he converted. Stuff like him receiving prophetic dreams and what not. But in the end it does not matter. What matters is, that Rome was Christian now and Rome did its damnest to spread Christianity. Moving the capital further East to be closer to the holy land and what not.
Now, with Christianity suddenly being the main religion the tables were turned. And suddenly Rome began to outlaw pegan religion, which included the old Roman religion. You know, the one with Jupiter, Juno, Venus and what not. First it was just small stuff. Like animal sacrifices became outlawed and temples were taxed. But it quickly escalated from there, with temples getting looted and burned. And then, not too many years later, Theodosius I was the new emperor and the violence against the pegans escalated. Temples were burned down and pegans were hunted down, forced to convert or killed.
You might ask now: What does this have to do with the Belmonts?
Well, I will tell you. See, when we look at history, we usually do our damnest to distinguish fact from fiction. But that is usually not history is written down. Especially not religious history. That always comes with a good helping of god-killing.
So, yes. According to myth in fact there were heroes, that came the high medieval period would turn into knights, who went out to kill monsters. And I mean, probably everyone can name at least a handful of dragon slayers at least.
Tumblr media
In real history of course we see these myths are embelishments and symbolism. As myths. But... If we look at the Castlevania world, we can obviously see that in this world monsters are real.
Sooooo... My headcanon for the Belmont family is, that they were in fact employed by the Vatican in the early medieval period to hunt down those monsters as the Vatican saw these monsters as an offense against God. That did not only include vampires, but all sort of other creatures that often were linked to old pegan believes of all sorts.
This means that in my headcanon the Belmonts did in fact hunt monsters before Mathias became Dracula. Even more so: Mathias was a monster hunter as well, which was what gave him the knowledge to become what he became in the first place.
In fact the church had them hunt down monsters of all sorts, making monsters all but extinct by the late medieval period. Which is in fact why the church turned on the Belmont family. They had lost their use and at that point the Belmont family were a constant reminder that those monsters at some point had been real.
To put it differently: The Belmonts have actively partaken in the genocide of several - at times intelligent - species. And have done their utmost to also eradicate vampires and their dhampiric offspring.
They didn't do that out of wickedness or anything like that, but out of religious fervor, because they did in fact believe that they were doing the right thing.
The entire Mathias-Leon-Thing mostly just lead to them having it especially out for the vampires.
Funnily enough though, this also meant, that within Europe where all the monster hunters were, the places that became safe for monsters and other supernatural creatures were either those areas ruled by vampires because vampires did not care too much if there was a griffon living up the mountain as long as it did not hunt down the humans. The other safe place? Granadia, aka the place that later on would become Spain. Because it was under majority Muslim rule and while Muslims were rather stern about not practicing sorcery they did not persecute religious minorities and did not have it out for the monsters so much.
Tumblr media
See, my issue is that the entire "Belmont good, Belmont hunt monsters" does not really gel with what we see in the series. While in the game canon we see that monsters and vampire are creatures of pure evil, this is not what the show is depicting. Vampires are as much complex persons, as the humans are. And as such they absolutely can decide to be good.
And yes, that very much means that I have Trevor later grapple with the fact that maybe his entire family history is not quite as heroic as he had believed it to be before. And that in fact his family also did not quite know as much about the monsters, as he had believed, given that after he has made friends with vampires he finds out that quite a few things he had believed about vampires are just plain wrong.

Yo hey more Bounty hunter Kanako! I’ve honestly kinda fell in love with this whole au, accidentally created my own hyperfixation within a hyperfixation. So I’m going to go ramble on more about my favorite traumatized fox child.
I actually got a question from @kanorune about Kanako’s relationship with the feisty five, which also got me thinking about her relationships with everyone else, so imma start with that. To answer your question on what she thinks of Moray, her hatred towards Martlet is much more her being apart of the Royal Guard than her familiar appearence. In fact, foxes are red-green colorblind like dogs, so she wouldn’t even know that Martlet and Undyne look similar. But the similarities between Undyne and Moray are a lot more noticeable, to the point Undertale yellow even mentions the similarities, so Kanako for sure notices. The thing is, the Feisty Five are family to her, she’s an honorary member of the team and is treated as such. So when it comes to Moray, there’s conflicting feelings. She’s known him her entire childhood, he’s her partner just like the rest of the posse, but she can’t stop seeing her in him no matter what she does. So Kanako keeps her distance from Moray more then the others, which definitely upsets the poor guy, those he never says it. He does his best to reach out and be supportive, but there’s moments where he can feel her eyes burn in the back of his neck, and he knows there’s little holding her back from ripping it open. As for the other four, Kanako will never admit it, but she loves being carried around by Ed. Her and Mooch like to do crime together, Kanako distracts while Mooch does Mooch things. Ace finds Kanako to be a worthy card game opponent with a poker face that can rival his own, whenever Kanako finds herself bored while Starlo’s out drinking you’ll probably find her playing rummy with him. Also fun fact, Ace is the one that modified her hat to have the ear holes and bell rope around it!
A dynamic I’ve been really interested in is hers with Dalv. Kanako’s his first and only friend, the one that gave him corn every day under the door. In Undertale yellow, the reason it stopped one day is because she fell down. Here, she simply can’t bring herself to return. The way I’ve enturpreted the blue soul’s treck through the underground, she attacked Kanako which is why Chujin sent Axis after them; partially to protect his family, but mostly for revenge (it seems it runs in the family.) I saw someone propose the idea that the reason Dalv was attacked is that he was protecting Kanako, and I fell in love with it. In my mind, this is cannon, no one can tell me otherwise. Kanako saw him as her best friend, Dalv found her to be an inspiration, and while their bond was sparse and weak, but it was valuable. After both her parents literally bite the dust, their relationship became a reminder to her of her grief and guilt. Dalv almost died and is traumatized because of her, and now her family is dead because of her. She was scared to loose anyone else in her life, so in a desperate attempt to get back control, she cut the ties herself before Dalv had the chance. The farther she was, the safer he’ll be. That’s what a good friend would do, keep their friends safe, right..?
Also, finally came up with a name for Kanako’s bounty hunter persona; Fox Fire! It has a lot of basis and research behind it, so excuse me as I ramble about it for a bit too long.
The name comes from two words, the finish word revontulet, and the Japanese word Kitsunebi, both translating into English as fire fox. A kitsunebi, as the word suggests, has a close connection to kitsunes, the type of monster Ceroba and Kanako are meant to reference. There’s many folktales about kitsunes and kitsuebis. Some stories say a kitsunebi is a flame created when a kitsune rubs its tails together, others say they’re torchlights used when foxes get married, and many festivals have come forth from kitsunebi. Kitsunebi also has a close connection to the Japanese god of foxes, Inari, and the shrine dedicated to her, Oji Inari. Meanwhile in Finland, revontulet is what they call the northern lights, meaning fox fire in English. It comes from a folk tale stating that the Aurora borealis are the tails of arctic foxes running across the sky. Aurora borealises can only form in the north and south poles, thus making it common for the northern lights and the star Polaris, more commonly referred to as the North Star, close together. Not only does the name Fox Fire give Kanako a connection to her family and their liniage as kitsunes, but also gives her a connection to Starlo and his title as North Star as the two astrological sighting happen together. There’s also a simple view of the name too, as Kanako is a fox monster that has fire magic, this Fox Fire, very simple. But actually the fox part of fox fire doesn’t come from the animal, but actually from the word faux, which means false. I nice nod to the fact that Fire Fox isn’t her actual name, and is instead a facade she put on as a form of escapism. Also, something I didn’t plan for, while doing research I found an old Western movie called Foxfire Light, so this name is literally perfect for her in every single way possible. IM A GENIUS!
Ok, enough rambling, I also made Kanako an official design too! A bit different from the headshot I showed before, it was more proof of concept than anything. Had a lot of fun drawing her, love the design, she’s such a sassy lass. I wanted to draw her with a pistol, but because I am an academic student in the thick of the American south, I am very triggered by guns. While I can handle most unrealistic depictions, like in games or drawings, it makes getting references and accurately drawing one very difficult for me. So I went with the much less ptsd enduring much more Busexual approach of ✨finger guns✨ 👉👉👉👉👉👉
Tumblr media
I can’t get her hat to look right AAAAAAAAAHHHHH! I’ll make an official ref of her someday, but I’m just done with drawing cowboy hats for today. That’ll be a post for another day. Goodbye for now :P

White Thief - Chapter 1
Pairing: Din Djarin x reader
Summary: You were just another bounty, on a forgettable planet, with no credits and no ship. And in the face un danger, anyone who has nothing to lose will do anything to try to survive.
Themes: Angst (a lot of action)
Warnings: gambling, persecution, mentions of violence, swearing, kidnapping, typical show violence
Words: 5.5 k
Tumblr media
The soft melodies echoed within the walls of the bar you currently were staying at. Your surroundings followed a rustic theme, taking after the green planet, which was often described as an endless sea of forests. And living up to its name, there were only a few cities on this small planet, the rest of the area was pretty much inhabitable, all because there were many creatures hidden in the ancient forest, too big and too strong for the residents to fight off. In fact, if it weren’t for the walls surrounding the city, those monsters would’ve probably already taken over the city.
In front of your eyes, was a set of cards placed on a wooden table, their backs turned to you, thus hiding their secret. There were probably fifty of these cards, you had taken your time in analyzing them.
Nervously, you eyed the Trandoshan in front of you. His hands leaned on the edges of the table, and he was taking in all your movements, not wanting to miss anything your body did, from you just moving your head curiously or a single flinch, he wanted to see it all.
“Have you decided what cards you’ll take, honey?” taking another posture he leaned back, now standing up and his arms knotted themselves over his chest.
Before, when he first spoke to you, you knew he was a shady character, all because of how weirdly he looked at your form. Yup, you didn’t like him from the beginning. And now, he just gave another reason why you were so wary of him. The way he formulated the question, was just as if he tried to mimic a snake, sizzling each c or s letter.
Why he decided to do that was beyond your reasoning, especially when a few minutes ago he was speaking perfectly to you.
But you had to obligate yourself to pull yourself out and focus on what was at stake here. It was simple, it was just a simple memory card game, right? Considering the decks amounted to a total of fifty cards, it didn’t take you long enough to count there were twenty-five pairs, meaning there wouldn’t be a draw.
In addition, if there was any instance of a player using foul play, the win would go directly to the player’s rival. This would result in all the credits going to the player who sticks with the rules.
You moved your feet two steps to the left, picking the most favorable card, and opening up a yellow circle. Moving the card close to your chest in an attempt to calm your throbbing heart.
You had to focus, all of your credits, which weren’t much, to begin with, were on the line here. The thought of how you lost all of that money, started an internal turmoil of deception, frustration, and overall rage. That day came to mind, the day you became the target of bounty hunters, barely making it out alive. You still couldn’t believe the sheer luck you had, and how to managed to get away by infiltrating yourself in a ship.
Over the past two years, you managed to hide in plain sight, escaping from bounty hunter to another. Hiding from ship to ship, planet to planet. That was your life now. And you could only wish one day they’d finally remove that bounty over your head.
But in the meantime, you had to survive in the safest way possible.
You had only stayed here for a week, and recognizing the patterns, you predicted the hunters were going to take a little while until they found you, so you had chosen to take a little break and down yourself with pure liquor at the bar.
That of course didn’t turn out well when you had practically spent all of your credits. Now, in the same bar, same bartender, same clientele, you tried regaining some of the money by playing this little game.
This was the fastest way to gain money, but unfortunately, it also was the fastest to rid of them. So you had to play safe and make sure to win.
You freed the air that seemed to have gotten stuck in your throat.
“We don’t have all day pretty lady” ignoring the comment of the Tardoshian, you quickly snatched a card out, a blue square. Taking in your surroundings once again you placed the cards back on the table.
And at that moment you realized something crucial. You. Were. Fucked.
Especially when the male in front of you took a pair of cards, without much thought. Taking the two cards between his finger and carelessly played with them, with a mocking undertone. And then he showed you he’d gotten a pair.
His pupil looked up at you, instantly earning a smirk out of him, showing off the pointy teeth of his mouth.
“Not having much luck, huh?” he said, a superior undertone to his words. And in response, your brow quirked up, showing the public that it didn’t affect you much, especially to the fucked up version of a lizard in front of you.
Now your mind was filled with one thing, and just like a DVD player, it bounced through for mind. This has to be foul play. You were sure of it. Honestly, you blamed no one but yourself for getting yourself into this situation. The bar already looked worn out, the tables and even the floors were covered in scratches, and only one light bulb was functioning leaving the place with barely any light, the people at the bar looked exactly the type to be… bounty hunters.
A new wave of anxiety smacked your head. Were they bounty hunters? Since when did they get here? Were they looking at you? Some were enjoying their drinks with their companions, but some were, looking straight at you. And once they acknowledged your eyes, they simply turned away, almost guilty, like a child being caught stealing a piece of candy.
Remember, breathe in, breathe out, and pause, breathe in, breathe out-
“Still waiting”
They couldn’t possibly be bounty hunters, right? They always arrived a little more than a week. You were never wrong, why would you be wrong now of all times? With no escape ship, no money, and nowhere near safety. And besides, they may have unannounced themselves as the audience of the little game you were participating in.
You looked at the crowd once again, interlocking eyes with a big muscular guy, probably a meter and a half taller and wider than you. He only hissed at you and took another sip of his drink, which was probably Pink Nebula.
And while you tried to reassure yourself that these guys, especially the muscular one, wasn’t bounty hunter. Your anxiety had already held onto you, and this was worsening its tight on your heart.
The unspoken words coming up your throat, and beating the hell out of it, made your ears deaf. Feeling the heaviness of your head, you rested your hands on the table, keeping your head between them.
Due to the pressure, your eyes started forming droplets which you let fall to the ground gracefully, panting slightly. But once again, the little slimy, disgusting lizard in front of you had tried to distract you from your spiraling thoughts.
“You can always give up darling” he smirked, revealing all of his teeth to you. But you never looked up at him and from the discomfort, a little giggle came out, so low you were barely able to hear it.
And then another one, this one louder.
The lizard had shifted his position, a bit taken aback by your sudden wave of terror.
Shutting your body completely, left you with no self-control, and instead, every part of you seemed to react on instinct instead of listening to your brain’s orders.
Because after your chest began moving up and down frantically, the air coming out of your mouth hurriedly, and unexpectedly, the giggling grew louder and louder, and soon after, snickering left your throat. Choking on the very air particle you were letting in and out.
You couldn’t hear anything, not even the music that was playing somewhere inside the bar. Only you and your laughs filled outer space.
But inside, the inner parts of your body, the place every vein connected, the place every neuron had all decided on all of your upcoming actions, they were screaming. Plotting something that was so surreal even someone like you, who had grown to be quieter and faster to avoid suspicion, thought of it as suicide. But you had no control over my limbs, so you became a slave to your frantic brain.
“Darling are you going to choose or what?” the reptile’s deep voice became more frustrated, and you couldn’t blame him. You’d become this wrecked version of yourself, doing absolutely nothing for at least five long minutes.
Your fingers reached for the blaster, tucked inside your shirt behind you. Making one final eye contact with the gambler in front of you, you took the blaster out. And pointed at the single bulb at your left, and when the laser quickly exploded the bulb. Without a second thought, you reached over the credits you and the Trandoshian piled up and quickly placed them in your pockets of the white cape hugging your body.
Everyone at the bar had become a mess, a bit too dramatic. But that didn’t stop you, on the contrary, it gave you enough distraction to get your things and leave this place as far as possible.
Putting the white fabric over your head and disguising yourself better, you ran as fast as possible to the exit. Looking one last time behind you. The lizard had come out of his trance of surprise, and he was now pointing at the exit and screamed a hurried “GET HER” to many of the guys at the bar. The ones you suspected of being bounty hunters, turned their heads to the exit.
Maybe your body created this false hope they did not indeed see you through all the darkness, and maybe if you stayed in the bar, somewhere hidden,  until they all left first the cantina, you could make out a safe escape. But your tingling body reminded you to get the hell out of there now.
Just as you passed the door, another man walked in beside you, hitting your arm slightly. The armor and helmet told you everything you needed to know, a Mandalorian. He could help you escape by fighting the creatures following you or, maybe capture you for stealing the poor excuse of a lizard’s credits.
And then, you heard it.
Bip, bip, bip,bip.
A sound you recognize a little too well. The sound increased in speed when you got close to the Mandalorian. He was a bounty hunter. Just the mere thought of a bounty hunter would’ve made you curse under your breath.
BUT. HE. WAS. A. MANDALORIAN. BOUNTY. HUNTER.
You could’ve sworn your head had collapsed at that moment, and you were about to flop on the floor, ready to get killed in that instant.
Somehow your brain reattached itself back, and you sped so fast along the alleyway, to wherever the path it took you. It didn’t matter where you got, anything was better that the situation you put yourself in. Not only was a group of huge thugs pursuing you to beat you enough until your soul left you but now a bounty hunter was going to join your chase. And to make matters worse, the bounty hunter was a Mandalorian.
“HEY!” a new voice was barely heard from the wind hitting your face so violently. It was definitely recognizable, a combination of deep and raspy. A voice that otherwise would’ve probably swooned over if it weren’t because you knew you were about to be seven feet underneath the very soil you were running, this of course if they’d be kind enough to organize a funeral for you.
But then it hit you, his voice was almost as if it had been covered in metallic material. Your brain just like at the bar was shortcutted and a low giggle escaped your mouth. The Mandalorian had just begun his hunt, and unfortunately for you, you were his little prey.
You were fucked, so fuckity fucked, the whole ordeal passing through your mind as you just sprinted across the city. You moved to a corner, and try and gain some time, a sizzling metalling sound, barely audible, almost hit your leg, just centimeters apart.
Your brave stupidity overtook you and looked behind you for a split second, trying to figure out what exactly was that sound. A little metallic chord, returning in full speed to the … THE MANDALORIAN.
You just escaped death’s grip itself, and yet the sight of him made your soul just leave you through your mouth. There was no way you were escaping unscathed like the previous times. You are were lucky enough to actually keep up the same pace, if not faster than the man behind you. After years of training, staying in the shadows, and having these minor heart attacks you had managed to keep up.
Up ahead was the central market, just as colorful as when you’d arrived. People walking around, parents buying their dinner, and children playing games. But you had to interrupt their lovely happy memories for now.
“GET AWAY, GET AWAY, GET AWAY, GET AWAY” you shout non-stop, each word straining your lungs, burning your vocal cords, and leaving you out of breath, making each word increase in desperation.
A blaster sliced through your hair, cutting little strands near your face. And the heat radiation from the red blaster seemed to sink into your skin eternally. It hurt, that was for sure, and it didn’t even hit you, you didn’t want to imagine getting hit by one.
But your body was becoming more tense, and breathless, numbing your brain. Everything was starting to make you dizzy. And just at the end of the market, you stopped suddenly.
You had come to the conclusion this was the end, so you might as well die without your lungs hurting like hell.
You quickly lifted your hands up, and slowly turned to see the Mandalorian ten feet away from you. Holding his blaster in front of him pointing at you.
You were panting hard, and it made it difficult for you to stand on your feet so you had to crouch down and breathe in as much as you could. And so was he, panting a lot. He may have gotten his little rabbit, but he surely had to put up a fight to get to you.
For a moment the two of you remained like that, breathing heavily. And as your brain was clearing up again it occurred to you, why he still didn’t shoot your fatal blow. He was still, aiming the gun at you, and you were for sure defenseless and had nowhere to hide. So why was he standing like that?
Swallowing a chunk of saliva to relieve your dry throat, you yelled at him.
”OI TIN CAN, ARE YOU GOING TO SHOOT ME OR WHAT?” you croaked to him, standing up as the feeling of my tortured lungs slowly healed itself.
You knew mocking him was a terrible idea, in fact, you could even say that it probably sealed more your death sentence. But then again, you accepted this fate, you were a dead girl walking, and soon enough, your body would seize to move.
He slightly lowered his weapon, and while panting, he just tilted his helmet to the side. Not a word was spoken.
You looked around, taking in the marketplace, everything was as it should be. All the stalls, without a single scratch, lay in front of you. Everything was so still, so untouched. But where was everyone you’d seen a few moments ago?
You and the Mandalorian had become the only people in the market, not a living breathing soul besides you two was residing within the market at the moment.
You composed yourself now that your head had been cleared. And through your throbbing heart and aching lungs, you remembered the thugs that had been following you alongside the bounty hunter. They surely must’ve already caught up to you two.
A clang of metallic boots thumping the floor quickly moved your attention. Each step getting closer to you. And you simply stood, regaining your breath and energy which had been wiped after stopping in your tracks.
Then a set of other pairs resounded just behind you. All the bravery and energy you got left had been spent by the easy movement of looking behind you. And just as you thought, a group of maybe, eight creatures was coming up to you, a group of people which you had mistakenly recognized as ‘the bounty hunters’ of the bar.
You were trapped now, and it wasn’t like you could do much more about it either. Your energy was at its lowest, a crippling chest still gasping for air. And now you had to deal with the bounty hunter and somehow get yourself a quicker death sentence instead of getting beat up and leaving you on the streets for days until your heart stops.
“Is this her?” one of the thugs asked, moving swiftly towards you, to one of how friends. There was no escaping this now, and while you had anticipated this, it still hit you like a brick wall.
No one replied to him. All of them were confident they found their target. So the man closest to me slightly bent down to my eye level. His big bulky eyes looked across my form to analyze me, and a moment later, he’d begun chuckling. He was making fun of me.
“This little thing was what caused so much trouble to our boss?” another question, with a definitely mocking undertone too evident to pass up. Maybe it was the way he was smirking at me, or perhaps how his voice seemed to get higher than his natural one.
You didn’t answer, only gasped the last group of breaths. On instinct your feet reached behind, trying to, once again, get away from the creatures in front.
“Hm?” he eyed me questioningly. Something inside me lit a fire. You weren’t in any form to fight, especially when you never learned how to fight face-to-face. But my body just couldn’t take the rush of emotions since entering the bar. Going from hopeful about regaining my money back to a stressed, anxiety-driven mad girl, and my body just couldn't take it any further.
“Yeah?” I slightly bobbed my head up, eying him. And with a last gasp and swallow, I spat whatever came to mind.
“Well, tell your slimy boss, this little thing stole eight thousand credits from him, asshole” that last added insult rolling deliciously off your tongue. And what for me was a delicious taste, he’d received it as a rotten one, earning a scrunch in his face.
“What did you say, skank?” it wasn’t much of a question, but rather an indignant growl coming out of this thick hard neck.
Instinctively, you took two more steps back, and before the group tried to reach for you, another slight hiss was heard, the same hiss you heard just minutes ago, this time though, more audible.
The thick metallic cord attached itself to your feet. And without any warning, your feet just pulled back, the floor erupting pain everywhere in your left cheek. And to make matters worse, a bit of the dirt came into your left eye, blinding you slightly. A huff escaped your lips and your lungs had to force out air on impact.
During this whole process, the cord hadn’t stopped moving, earning a huge headache. You were just snaking through the pathway away from the thugs. Trying to understand what was going on, you slid your body so you would be laying on your back, but before you could do anything, it stopped.
And as you saw the thugs coming after you, your savior was aiming their blaster at the group, striking down the creature closest to both of you.
The Mandalorian shot another one of them, ending their lives in an instant. Now six remaining, he stood in front of you, fighting them in close combat.
You were still trying to make out what was going on. Your fragile lungs were too beaten up for today, and you hoped they wouldn’t get more mistreated today.
In addition to your chest pain, your whole entire body ached, your face, belly, and arms after the Tin Can had pushed you back with whatever the metallic chord he used.
So you tried to stand up, your legs almost giving out, but you still maintained yourself. Something the two long years of becoming the hunter’s prey is that you never could think twice, in situations like this it was a do-or-die situation, you couldn't afford to fall back a single second.
And so, you carried your weight somewhere to hide. The grunts and growls as your background noise, as you went for one of the closest stalls. You thought of hiding in this stall, especially because your aching body was pleading you with for some rest. But you turned away, even if it was tempting you. It was a stupid idea, too close to the fight and either the thugs or the Mandalorian would find you instantly.
Looking back you saw a mess of punches, kicks, and the Mandalorian had pulled out a knife. Four to one, it hardly seemed fair. You would’ve reached for your blaster, and you slightly did. Reaching a few centimeters on the weapon behind you. But as unfair as it was, you knew it was better to leave the bounty hunter on his own and try to escape. Afterall all of them were fighting for who gets to kill the prize, me. And without much thought, you moved your feet away from them.
Arriving at one of the stalls a bit further away with, your legs re-activating, you could still hear the sea of huffs and grunts behind you. And at that moment your thoughts stalled on the Mandalorian. You knew the stories, the Mandalorians being one of the fiercest warriors in the entire galaxy. But damn he really lived up to the Mandalorian name. Eight against one, in a matter of mere seconds four were out.
That thought honestly only made you more scared of him. What he could do to you.
These thoughts kept spiraling until one last thump, a big object hitting the floor resounded nearby. You immediately tried holding your breath, out of nervousness. But also to listen to any more sounds that might give away anything, whether it was the Mandalorian or the thugs that won the battle, the proximity of their steps, just anything.
Heavy singular steps hit the ground. Coming directly to your hiding location, confidently. You still wanted to know how he knew where you were. And it wasn’t long before the tracker started bipping once again.
All you could do was sigh.
And as you heard the metallic crunches hitting the floor, the little machine just kept increasing its alarm.
You tried convincing yourself everything was alright. That day, the day you escaped and pissed off the noble, you knew your life would be a mess, and you would likely end up dead soon anyway.
But you still didn’t want to believe this was the end for you. After fighting so much. After everything you’d done to survive, everything was for nothing. This was your fate. You were going to die at the noble’s hand soon anyway, and when you tried to avoid it. Fate had only persecuted you until this very moment. Because your destiny wasn’t to live a normal happy life, but instead, die young, cowering in fear, and pleading for mercy to the Maker.
Another step, this one is eerily close to you. You really had tried not to cry. Even if it meant the massive ache in your heart to tighten. You weren’t fond of the idea to die crying.
But you couldn’t contain it any longer. A sob escaped your thigh throat. And with that, you started tearing up, raining down on your clothes.
You put your knees to your chest to console yourself slightly. You weren’t loud about it. You didn’t want anyone to hear you in this vulnerable state.
The steps came to a close just in front of you, and upon that realization, your heart froze in place.
Ready for your blow, your head stayed hidden between your legs, your hands gripping onto your legs, your eyes hardy shut, and gritting your teeth just enough so they wouldn’t shatter. You so, you waited. You waited for the Mandalorian to finally kill you.

House Isekai: A "brief" Summary
TLDR: It is a Fire Emblem: Three Houses crossover with a bunch of different games/animes that spiralled into a coherent story, focusing on character interactions and action.
So throughout the og blog and this one, i've made several references of House Isekai, but never went too in depth of what it actually was.
That changes today, since I'm in the mood to write for it, and luckily, most of the things I write for are already part of this blog, so you'll have some understanding of who everyone is!
That being said, it dramatically helps if you've played/watched Fire Emblem: Three Houses, since 3H is the media that connects all of these series together.
AND I AM ETERNALLY PISSED ENGAGE WASN'T FIRST BECAUSE THAT WOULD'VE MADE THE CONCEPT SO MUCH EASIER TO WORK INTO
If you haven't, I have one meme to say to you.
Tumblr media
As for the full story of this series inception, it's under the cut!
GENERAL OVERVIEW
For those unfamilliar with Three Houses, Byleth (the player) is chosen to become a professor for one of three classes, The Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and Golden Deer. Eventually, a war breaks out that pitches each country the classes are from against one another.
Your character had the power of God, Sothis, infused into you, and you were the deciding factor in the nation you chose winning the war.
A very important bit is that thanks to Sothis, Byleth was able to turn back time. Gameplay wise this just meant you could rewind a turn to play it out differently, and strangely enough, no story consequence came out of this. But we'll come back to this.
Before House Isekai, I had written several other AU's for 3H, Red vs Blue, Monster Hunter, Rune Factory 4, Warhammer 40,000, and most famously, a Child Byleth AU. While it was fun, and Child Byleth had a lot of things written for it, they didn't explode into their own universe.
House Isekai spawned because of anon asking what would happen if the Konosuba gang was in Three Houses, which brings us here!
Tumblr media
The original House Isekai consisted of 8 groups from different series:
Konosuba
Overlord
Persona 3
Persona 4
Persona 5
School-Live!
Trails of Cold Steel
DOOM
The whole premise was that these groups dropped in out of nowhere, and it kept happening so often, that all the offworlders formed their own House and was a fourth class besides the Black Eagles, Golden Deers, and Blue Lions.
Byleth, alongside many colorful characters, became the staff of House Isekai.
It was mostly jokey/fun ideas of how these characters could interact the ones from 3H and each other, spawning other joke au's like Animal Crossing, Subnautica, ETC. This continued on about a year or so.
===
STORY
But then a lot of people were wondering how House Isekai would handle the timeskip. The original plan was to write that, but honestly it would've been an absolute curbstomp and a Golden Ending to the original 3H plot. However, I felt like that wasn't really fitting since it was intentionally impossible to get a happy ending for everyone.
But then, I got an idea.
Earlier before the crossover existed, I had written an evil Byleth storyline where he became the villain that the three nations had to fight. In that story, Byleth had rewinded time to go through all the routes in the game, and decided that becoming the evil was the only way to stop the wars.
That story ended with Byleth dying, and the three nations achieving peace.
It was here I thought, "why don't I expand on this even more?" And decided to make House Isekai part of that storyline, birthing House Isekai: Shadowbringers. (I was also playing FFXIV at the time, so to say I was inspired by it would be an understatement. I straight up stole a lot from FFXIV LMAO)
Now, instead of losing, Byleth accidentally won and doomed the entire world into a slow death. To fix his mistakes, he created "The Zanado Tower", and with the help of Sothis, reversed time to where even he would forget what happened. But this fucked up dramatically due to reversing time too much at this point, breaking reality, and what led to each group showing up.
Every group showed up one at a time with Byleth, and went to the endgame with him before time reset by itself, doing the whole process again but with another group. The only catch, is that Byleth remembered each loop.
With the final loop, every group showed up at once creating House Isekai and the "golden ending". Only for that Golden Ending to show signs that time was about to reset, which led to the discovery of the Zanado Tower.
Deciding to try again, Byleth and Sothis reset time manually while inside there, causing it to catastrophically malfunction. They then realized they were still there, and found out they had accidentally created another copy of Byleth, where events were playing out normally for him with no knowledge of any time loop beforehand.
To MASSIVELY gloss over the story, Shadowbringers concluded with both Byleth's dying in a duel to the death, and with the cycle broken, time began to flow normally, leaving House Isekai without their professor.
Using the tower, each group said farewell. There is no memory wipe, everyone keeps their knowledge of their time with House Isekai and went to continue their adventures at home.
Thus leading us to: House Isekai: A Realm Reborn, which is where the storyline is currently at.
Tumblr media
Including cameos from the original House Isekai, it was now led by Byleth's Mother, and included:
Trails of Cold Steel III
Genshin Impact
Halo 3: ODST
Warhammer 40,000
and 3H Original Characters
This formed the new and current House Isekai.
Two years after Shadowbringers, Sitri calls for aid and Towa, Kazuma, Rean, and Aigis answer, with everyone else dropping out of nowhere similar to the old house.
The Main threat this story is remnants of 3H villains, and Separatists of the Empire nation (Black Eagles).
===
And that's it. As for actual content, while the character interactions were very fun, in my opinion, I needlessly rushed it, and the quality is not at all what I wanted the end result to be like it was in my head.
But if there's one thing I am proud of still, is taking the ungodly amount of characters and forming meaningful relationships with one another in a way that made sense for everyone, and still kept in character. The Character interactions were the best part of House Isekai.
Which brings me to the next topic!
THE FAN FAVORITE CHARACTERS
With a cast this big, there were bound to be the ones who were most famous and constantly asked for/in the most imagines.
Tumblr media
In no particular order:
Sara Valestein, Towa Herschel, Rean Schwarzer (Trails of Cold Steel),
Aqua, Kazuma (Konosuba),
Akira Kurusu, Yu Narukami (Persona),
Megumi "Megu-nee" (School-Live!),
and Doomguy (DOOM), were the most famous.
Whether it be solely for their personalities, the way they interacted in-House/ with 3H characters, they were always a blast for me to write and everyone loved them.
Funnily enough, Aqua, who is the most annoying to me and everyone scored number one in a best girl poll, followed by Laura of Cold Steel, and Kasumi of Persona 5.
It was also thanks to House Isekai I introduced MANY people to the respective series, Cold Steel and School-Live! being the lesser knowns brought to the limelight.
I actually once overtook the 3H imagines tag with Megumi with her being recommended and that's the funniest thing in the world to me still.
Towa was the mascot of House Isekai, old and new, and given the chance, the mascot of Genshingorls.
===
AND NOW that's the """"""brief"""""" history of House Isekai covered, both in-lore and meta.
So, What do you guys think?
Feel free to request anything from House Isekai since this is my legacy, and I know some folks have been DYING for me to continue while I've been writing Genshin over here.

Okay so since we will never know what happened to Landon in the prison world (and I will never be over it), I’m just gonna ramble about some of my own headcanons about it...
-Landon used the tunnels under the town to get around undetected, which is also where he was able to research prison worlds and monsters and practice using his weapons without being seen/heard. And the tunnels also allowed him to more easily access the school (which is maybe where he could’ve gotten some of his weapons or food) as well as the grill (maybe a better option for food since at least part of the school had been on fire) since there’s an entrance to the tunnels there too. But Landon obviously would’ve struggled with being in the tunnels because of his claustrophobia, giving him even more reason to learn to fight monsters and create his hunter disguise so he could be above ground, in addition to him already needing to in order to find a way out of the prison world.
-He would grab hold of Hope’s necklaces around his neck throughout his time in the prison world, especially in moments he struggled to keep going.
-In quieter moments Landon had, he would sometimes write in his journal. Maybe documenting some of his time in the prison world, as well as writing letters to Hope and Raf to help himself cope.
-Elena’s clinic in the town square is where Landon went to get supplies to stitch himself up for the first time.
-I’m not good at thinking up monsters Landon might have fought, but one I did think of is a hydra, which I think could be fitting because of how that could parallel the Hercules reference in 2x11. I also headcanon that the monster that made Landon hallucinate he was being rescued over and over again was a wraith (insp. by @winnie-the-monster).
-This headcanon is maybe a bit out there, but comes from a brief theory I’d had back in 3x11. In that scene when they showed the Necromancer’s body in pieces in the crypt in the prison world, I’d actually wondered at the time if Landon had done that. And I guess we’re supposed to believe that one creature did it idk, but my headcanon is still that Landon did that. That the Necromancer had been there because Malivore had spat him out into the prison world to use him to find a way back to the real world. And got him to help by using the threat that if he failed, Malivore would make him human/Ted again, like he had before. Which would explain why the Necromancer became Ted again, because he had failed in helping Malivore escape the prison world. And he failed because Landon had stopped him, because Landon had seen that he was trying to find a way out (with the grimoire and writing on the wall in the crypt) so Landon killed him so he couldn’t, to protect everyone in the real world. And he didn’t come back to life as the Necromancer after because he came back as Ted instead because of Malivore’s punishment, which is why the Necromancer’s remains were still in the crypt by 3x11. (Though why Ted had amnesia idk, maybe Malivore somehow did that to him at some point as well. Maybe if Ted had gone through the rift after him, and Malivore wanted to punish him further and wiped his memories so he couldn’t become the Necromancer again? Who knows, but this is the only sense I can make of that whole situation since we got no explanation, while also fitting it in with my own headcanon.)
-Landon having to kill the Necromancer to keep everyone else safe would’ve pushed him to his limit. Because he would’ve known that the Necromancer was likely his only chance of escaping the prison world as well. Especially after having had no success finding any way back on his own and realizing that someone who could do magic was really the only way. So him having to give up what he felt was probably his only hope would’ve caused him to break down. (Which I imagine being similar to how Bonnie broke down in the prison world, when she was so close to escaping only to still be trapped.)
-Also similar to Bonnie, I imagine with Landon feeling so hopeless after having to give up his chance of escaping and feeling like he would never get back home and never be free, he would’ve gotten to a point where he felt like giving up. Where he would’ve gone to the dock with the intention of jumping into the lake for the last time. But, especially after thinking of Hope and his promise to always find her again, he decided not to go through with it and keep fighting. (And also the way this could kinda parallel the end of 3x05 as well? With both Hope and Landon feeling hopeless on the dock, Hope feeling that Landon was gone and Landon feeling like he could never get back. And Hope dropping the artifact into the lake and Landon almost jumping in, Hope feeling heartbroken and like she’d never see Landon again, then Landon deciding to keep fighting and find his way back to her. Plus Hope later deciding to keep fighting for Landon as well.)
-Shortly after Landon almost gave up is when Hope astral projected to the prison world and then tried to get there and opened the rift. And Landon happened to see the rift opening up, and he was running to it when Malivore got a hold of him and possessed him right before he went through.

Hounding
Violence in Zaun is a form of self-expression. This means that every Zaunite has their own style of fighting or certain actions or weapons, which they prefer doing or using. Some of those fighting styles can be very similar to one another, especially if one person mirrors the style of their mentor figure. However, one thing that is almost always the truth, is that a Zaunite fights themselves.
This is why Silco's preferred MO stands out so much among Zaunites. While he is an excellent duellist and more than capable of wielding a pistol or a knife (his preferred weapon) with great efficiency, the thing he is most known for is the fact that Silco lets others fight for himself. Specifically not other people, but other monsters. He hunts people, who have angered him a great deal, and his preferred method of hunting is called Hounding.
Hounding is a specific way of hunting with hunting dogs, specifically bloodhounds. In this hunt, the hunter sends the dogs upon the prey with the task of them, tackling it and bringing it down. Silco does the exact same thing, except he doesn't just do it to people, he does it with people. His Hounds are carefully selected members of his gang, who have undergone a gruelling and painful conditioning process.
This conditioning allows Silco to essentially turn on/off the Hound inside of them with nothing but a snap of his fingers and the words "Sicc 'em!" or "Drop!". The Hound mindset turns the respective individual into a lot more than a murderer. It mutes your fear response and your empathy and fills you with the crushing drive to pursue and violently eviscerate Silco's chosen target.
The violence, someone commits as a Hound, is primal, visceral and horrifying. In the end, the victim does not look like a human anymore. Very often, the Hounds will have made use of their bare teeth and rudimentary nails. Under Shimmer, those effects get enhanced to the point that the cannibalism, Zaunites sometimes perform on corpses, is now transferred over to the living victim. Hunts are rare, however, for a victim, these last few minutes of pursuit and being caught by Hounds are among the most terrifying a person can experience.
Coming out of the Hound state and in the case of the Shimmer wearing off, often means that the respective Hounds throw up what they gorged themselves on. Hounding puts a massive strain on the body, which means that a Hunt can leave someone exhausted and tired. For some, coming back can also induce feelings of guilt and fear at the beginning. It is why Hounds are rare. You hand over your free will along with your own violence, and for individualistic Zaunites, that is extremely difficult to do. It is the ultimate sign of trust and in some cases, can even be seen as a love confession.
Silco didn't develop Hounding on a whim. He designed it to be used against Piltover, to make something so scary that Topside had no choice but to back off and give them their independence. He took his existing culture of predation and played with the thought of making an Apex Predator. Vander and his own violence served as a massive inspiration for the idea to the point that Vander even became the first-ever Hound. It is the origin of Vander's moniker "Hound of the Underground", but their shared history, involving Hounding, is also what eventually drove Vander to betray Silco. However, that betrayal didn't remove the conditioning. It is permanent. If you were made a Hound, you could always be triggered into that mindset again, to the point that even the snapping of fingers is enough to prime you.

Summary: Reader is the area's best demon hunter, considered as a protector, she is the village's hero. One day she get's cornered by a powerful entity, but she gets saved by something unexpected, starting a new relationship.
Your life has considerably changed since you became a hunter. Your village was often attacked by demons and other entities since you were a teenager. All you remember is that your old man used to train you to hunt simple deers and rabbits for the village. One day the first attack begun and your parents both died.
While you were terrified of the creature which just turned you into an orphan, your rage outsized your fear as you grabbed a spear your father gave you in your 11th birthday and stabbed the demon's head apart from it's body.
Since then, you have been fighting against these horrible creatures to protect your village with your special spear to avenge your memories with your parents. The village eventually named you "Lancea, the huntress" and recognize you as the best hunter of many who swore to protect these lands from any demon...
Back to present, you were thinking about how weird it felt to be like this, to have people calling you by a nickname and not your actual name. " Well, that's what happens with superheroes like iron man, hulk or captain america back in the city, right?" You thought for a moment, cleaning some leaves that got on your hair.

Stephen hated whenever the guilt was too strong, to be a murderer and a monster, and not being able to save Christine... Damn it, he could still hear her last words "what did you do?"
"We both know you did this to yourself" Uatu said from the distance
"I know, Watcher! I know!" Stephen roared, inmediatly after Uatu spoke
"And that's why i'm here" Uatu's line caught Stephen's attention "you have proved to be truly regretful and conscious of your mistakes, so i have a deal for you" Uatu glared at Stephen
"Hmf, Tell me about it" Stephen finally spoke
"I'll let you get out of here, find love again and have a way to spend your time. If you help me with absolute menaces to the multiverse"
"Alright, if that will make me get out of this hell, then so be it"
"Just a warning, where i'm bringing you, hideous creatures threat the local poblation. If you shift and the village's protector; lancea, sees you, she will attack you without doubt"
Stephen chuckled "whoever she is, i don't think she can do too much against me anyways"
"Just be careful and learn how to change back to normal" Uatu sighed and with a light, teleported Stephen out of his prison.
Stephen appeared on a farm's corner, next to some kind of food market. He tried to continue his way, walking through the village.
"How am i gonna know Lancea's appearance if Uatu didn't describe her?" Stephen thought
"A demon!" He heard a child voice yell, did he shift? No... he didn't feel tentacles slipping through his limbs and his hands weren't clawed "Sir, run!" The child grabbed his arm and pulled him to the contrary direction of what the kid truly saw
There was a wolf sized goblin like creature which slowly crawled it's way out of the dirt, baring it's teeth at the kid and Stephen, before turning on it's back to see a woman with a brown suit and a spear on her hands, was that, Lancea?
Stephen noticed the kid ran away, and when he turned to look at you you were already fighting the creature
"Sir! You gotta get out of here, it's not safe" you yelled
Stephen swallowed, he noticed the creature's strenght as it threw you to the floor and stopped you from getting up. He really wanted to help, but he didn't want to risk everything by shifting. He ran to a place without people so nobody could see him shift.
It was painful for sure but he couldn't allow himself to let someone die, not again.
You were struggling with the creature's jaw trying to get into your head, only kept away from it by your spear, then it threw your spear away, and when it was about to kill you, something strong pulled it backwards. When you stood up on your feet you went horrified; a way bigger demon grabbed it with...tentacles? You realized it had even more features, but your pain made you collapse into the ground so you didn't see it on detail.
Stephen snarled at the creature with sharper teeth. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't fighting back, it was actually scared of him.
"Oh, you too?" Stephen thought, even a beastly and aggresive creature was scared of him.
Stephen ended it up by blasting a spell which burned down the creature to atoms.
"Lancea, help! There's another one!" A woman yelled, but you were unconscious by the loss of blood
"It's the devil himself!" "Kill it!" "Mom, i'm scared"
But Stephen knew there was no time to hear the frightened people, he dissapeared and watched from far how people carried you to your home so you could get a rest.
He had to check you were okay...

Name: Fang Ono Species: Hunter (Slayer) Occupation: Hunter for Hire Age: 30 Years Old Played By: Elle Face Claim: Jessica Henwick
"Doesn’t matter who or what gets in my way: I’ll always come out on top."
Born in Singapore to a Chinese heiress and a British-Chinese engineer, Huifang Xu (徐慧芳) was orphaned at a young age when a car crash caused by a yōkai took from her the only family she ever knew.
They were on a vacation in Japan, which the family had been putting off for months because of her father’s busy schedule at work. It was actually Huifang herself who pleaded for them to go, only to regret her whims when the tragedy struck. Although she survived the accident, she would have been devoured by the creature, if not for the timely arrival of a local hunter named Hiroyuki Ono (小野廣之).
Inside the overturned car, Huifang watched the hunter efficiently slay the yōkai. After the intense fight, the hunter was surprised to find the girl, whom he later dropped at a police station with his local law enforcement contact, thinking she would then be reunited with relatives. Three days later, however, the same contact informed Ono that none of the relatives wanted the girl back.
Apparently, the girl’s familial relationships have always been terrible. Her father was already distant to his own family before he ever married her mother while her mother was disowned after she decided to marry her father instead of a wealthy heir to a family business in Singapore. None of her immediate relatives wanted to take her in because they believed she’s bad luck, a belief she would subconsciously ingrain in herself, preventing her from making new relationships easily and sabotaging current ones.
Thus, the hunter took it upon himself to adopt the orphaned foreigner. Under the older Ono’s tutelage, Huifang, now calling herself Keiho Ono (小野恵芳), became an efficient hunter, ridding Tokyo and even Osaka of dangerous yōkai. The father-and-daughter pairing were fast becoming a nightmarish problem for the local monsters, which was why they enlisted help from an outsider, a monstrous gaijin, that was more than Hiroyuki’s match. Keiho could only hold her mentor, her father, in her arms as he breathed his last, promising to avenge him despite his wish for her to stay safe.
Through their contacts, she later found out where her father’s killer had disappeared to: Wicked's Rest, Maine. Using a shortened form of her birth first name, Fang, with her adoptive Japanese last name, Ono, she made her way to the other side of the world, shacking up with an old friend, Sara Fukuhara, at Harborside, intending to track down the undead that killed Hiroyuki and fulfill her promise of revenge.
But that was five years ago.
Huifang Xu Keiho Ono Fang Ono has failed in her crusade. Her father’s killer had long been dead, exterminated by another hunter, the news of which was brought to her too late. With nowhere else to go, Fang decided to stay in town, offering her services, the only set of skills she believes she has that’s worth any amount of money, to anyone and everyone.
What else was she going to do? Get a job at the boathouse? Become a fisherman? Nah, she’d rather make (un)life a living hell for the creatures that destroyed her life and get paid doing just that. It is what it is.
Character Facts:
Personality: Greedy, inconsistent, unpredictable, anarchic, independent, dynamic, self-confident, individualistic
She was born in Singapore to a Chinese heiress and a British-Chinese father, but when they died in a car crash due to an accident involving a yōkai while on vacation in Japan, she was adopted by local hunter Hiroyuki Ono (小野廣之) who saved her. Fang has since taken his last name.
Her birth name is Huifang Xu (徐慧芳) but she changed her name to Keiho Ono (小野恵芳) while living with her late adoptive father in Tokyo. She is currently using a shortened form of her birth first name, Fang, with her adoptive Japanese last name, Ono.
Non-supernatural strangers tend to refer to her as Huifang or Keiho while the more supernatural circles, such as fellow hunters and her victims, know her simply as Fang, sometimes exaggerated as the Fanged Oni.
She currently lives with an old friend, Sara Fukuhara, on the second floor of the latter’s electronics repair shop, Fukuhara Electronics, at Harborside. Sara’s shop employs two other women: Micaella Kikuchi and Nobu Aoki, who are both curious at how Fang survives without a day job but are too hesitant to delve deeper. Only Sara knows the truth about Fang being a hunter because one of Sara’s close relatives was also a hunter.
As a hunter, her weapon of choice is a katana with an oni hilt that her enemies had named the Oni’s Fang, though she is also well-versed in the usage of an ōdachi and a tantō. She has a naginata displayed in her room, which was given to her by Hiroyuki, supposedly a family heirloom.
She also wears a face mask that resembles an oni’s lower face when out hunting. Apparently, this was its whole thing back in Japan with Hiroyuki and a few others.
She has a dragon tattoo over her right arm. Do not ask about it. She won’t answer you anyway.
She has a soft spot for seafood, especially butter crab and sashimi. She also loves oden and has a personal tradition of eating chikuzenni every new year.
