Allowing herself to be steered towards one of the couches in their flat (as undoubtedly the two purchased a new flat together once Aurora, if not Jay, came into the picture), Aurora sat, head in hands, as her father fetched a bin. For a moment she seemed fine. Stable. And then...she was pitching forward to wretch.

Awful as it was, it did seem to help a bit. It took two more times, though, before the spinning stopped enough that she could concentrate properly on the last bit of what her father had said.

With a small, pathetic little nod, she answered. "We were in the park...with some friends...sitting by the pond. Jay started handing out bottles and while I didn't really like wine at first...it grows on you. Especially the pink ones. I like the pink ones. Do you think we have any pink ones in the cabinet here?"
