Ivory SMP is an 18+ whitelist-only Minecraft server rooted in cosmic horror, narrative survival, and the kind of storytelling that lingers with you long after you log off. This isn’t your average SMP—we don’t do fast-paced grindfests or throwaway lore.

Ivory is quiet dread. Slow decay. A world that feels like it’s always watching.

The land is beautiful in that haunting way old churches and abandoned towns are. Stories grow here like mold in the walls—if you know where to look. Your character is part of something bigger: a strange, sprawling mystery that unfolds in real time, shaped by the choices you make and the secrets you uncover.

We’re a community of writers, builders, and roleplayers who crave something a little darker. A little slower. A little more alive.

This server will not hold your hand. It will leave the light on. And then it will ask if you’ve seen what’s living in the walls.

To ensure that bases are at least 1000 blocks apart, the maps in the final picture are snapshots of parcels of land with various biomes you can choose from. Each are labeled by number. Visit a parcel using a bound scroll, which will take you to a waystone at the location in question. Take a look around and see if it's to your liking, and if it is, congratulations! Contact the Realtor role in the Discord server to officially claim ownership over the land (inform us of what the land parcel number is). If the visited parcel is not to your liking, inform the staff and you're free to return to the starter building and select a different one, until you eventually find one that you like! A claim system is in place to prevent griefing and theft, so remember to enclose your base in your claim using the claim chunks section of the world map (press M to access it). Lost: The Minecraft Server

AKA Lost doesn't happen, "The Island" is just the survival server these guys play on. 

Jack is the guy who tries to organize the server and hopelessly fails. I cannot emphasize this enough, Jack is not good at Minecraft. He doesn't even really enjoy it. He's just playing out of obligation to the server owner Jacob who dragged him in as a mod.

Locke is the guy who goes off to defeat the Ender Dragon alone and reads the whole end poem weeping. He disappears for extremely long stretches of time. Sometimes, he's mining, and sometimes, he comes back with an elder guardian head.

Sawyer just griefs at first… But then he realizes he enjoys Minecraft more than he’d like to admit. And what’s more? He loves the thrill of fighting mobs more than griefing. He begrudgingly becomes the protector of spawn/new members.

Everything Kate holds dear fits in her ender chest. Her idea of a house is a two-block-high hideaway carved into the side of a mountain. She initially isn’t invested in the game, either… until she gets emotionally attached to her horse.

Sayid used to be a part of an anarchy server and quit the game for a while. He normally just messes around in creative mode, but after getting dragged into playing on the server, he makes redstone farms. An Ethoslab-type.

Jin fishes for hours at a time. No autoclicker or anything. He finds it relaxing. Sun's the farmer and makes endless fields of wheat. The two of them like Minecraft more because they're playing together rather than the actual game mechanics. They eventually leave the server to play Stardew Valley, instead.

Shannon is initially a builder/griefer—she'll terraform other people's builds to make her own stuff, and then be like "oh i thought you abandoned that house, sorry xoxo."

Charlie and Claire are both builders who make cute little houses in the flower forest together. Charlie is super into Minecraft and gets Claire into it by proxy.

Michael is originally the person who builds infrastructure around spawn. He’s not particularly into it—he plays to connect with Walter, who’s a huge fan of Minecraft YouTube. Specifically Mumbo Jumbo. After Michael leaves the server, Jack attempts to take over his responsibilities and fails miserably.

Hurley is not good at building, but he'll drop off gifts in front of people's bases and build them the most atrocious looking wool statues you've ever seen (like the YouTuber Skizzleman). He’s one of the OG Minecraft fans of the bunch.

Desmond logs onto the server accidentally. Honestly, he’s not even sure how he got here. The concept of video games baffles him. There’s a solid three weeks where he glitches into bedrock—Locke finds him on a mining expedition and saves him.

Penny isn't whitelisted on the server, either; Desmond fights to get her added.

Ben does not place or break a single block. He just steals from people’s chests. He gets the Diamonds! achievement before Stone Age.

Juliet is one of the best builders of the bunch. She and Sawyer create a hidden base in the Nether that they live in together.

The server owner Jacob will sometimes build bedrock obelisks. Genuinely for no reason. Just because.

Richard is a mod in creative mode. He breaks said obelisks.

How to replace Microsoft and support the BDS boycott

reach out to your tech friends about replacing windows with an alternative operating system, such as linux or a *BSD OS. if you decide to do this on your own, make sure to back up your hard drive first. windows profits off your usage data (even if you never paid for it) and can use it to train their AI, which is arming israel.

if your work or school requires you to acquire windows, look up massgrave (it's very simple to activate windows).

duckduckgo is just microsoft's bing in a trench coat. they have made a secret exception for microsoft's tracking services in the past. check out Searx instances, or try alternative indie web search engines such as Marginalia or Wiby.

if you're using microsoft's outlook for email, consider Tuta or Disroot (avoid proton; it's all privacy theatre that's only somewhat better than other email providers, and the CEO has voiced support for trump).

don't pay to watch the minecraft movie that's coming out. i've heard it's incredibly underwhelming anyway.

insist on playing minecraft but don't want to give microsoft money? avoid bedrock edition. check out UltimMC if you need a way to acquire java edition and you don't own it. if you're a server operator, you can set your server to offline mode in server.properties which allows people who acquire minecraft the cool way to connect, but this should be paired with a server-side authentication plugin/mod for safety reasons (in offline mode, anyone can log in with any username, including a whitelisted or operator username, and there are bots scanning for servers to grief). don't use realms. disable telemetry with mods if you can.

get a vpn (i recommend airvpn for p2p connections) and download qBittorrent. in case you're interested in media published by microsoft. or just in general. learn to torrent, and make sure all your torrent traffic goes through your vpn service.

if you're using microsoft edge, consider switching to an alternative browser such as LibreWolf (basically firefox with better privacy and security out of the box; mozilla is not the innocent robin hood figure they're made out to be) or Ungoogled-Chromium (chromium without the google spyware; unfortunately lacks auto-update in most cases).

if you're using microsoft's AI for anything, consider getting a library card instead.

Zircon says he's got a surprise for everyone at the end of the week, and if you can manage to get on Zircon's nice list—and stay on his whitelist—you might just be there to see it.

In addition to Zircon, meet and spend time with a whole cast of quirky characters! All six active members of the SM3 will appear fully-rendered in special encounters in the game.

If you like Minecraft, genetics, animals, farming, and/or coat color patterns, this Minecraft mod is for you! Updated models for animals, and hundreds of variations in appearance make the possibilities of this mod almost endless. Though this server is a work-in-progress, early access is open to trusted whitelisters! This server is a safe space for people of color, the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent people, and other minority groups.

As of the moment, we are in search of Moderators, Builders, and other miscellaneous positions.

If you’re able to contribute in other ways (knowledge of programming and general experience with possible server issues both in Discord and in-game, managing an economy, etc.), tell me in DMs what you can do to help the server!
