UN passed a resolution for a ceasefire with a majority vote of 153 yes. 23 abstained. 10 voted no (any guesses?)

It’s non-binding though. Meaning israel is likely going to ignore it, especially with the US on its side. As much as it is wonderful to celebrate this public step forward, we gotta remember to keep marching and protesting and boycotting for a ceasefire AND a free Palestine. The fight is nowhere near over unfortunately but everything you’re doing is working. Keep pushing.

ohoho boy tomorrow is gonna be so bad but yanno what I’m gonna be a brave little guy and I’m gonna treat myself to back to back bath days so it’s all gonna be good in the end. Today was so bad today was fucking dreadful but there will be a way !!!!! I have to remember the small joys I have to stay strong

#I hate driving lessons. I’m sick of pretending that I don’t dread them every week. I had a dream last night where I was watching a live action movie for chainsaw man???? And Aki was barely in it. There was a whole plot going on without him, when he should have been apart of it (since the actual story goes a little bit without him in the beginning) BUT IN MY DREAM DENJI WAS HIRED AS A DEVIL HUNTER BUT AKI WAS STILL NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!! So I’m like “oh okay maybe I just don’t recognize him yet. This is live action. Maybe he’ll look a lil different” que in this GUY who looks NOTHING like Aki. They literally used cgi on this man to make him LOOK MORE like Aki???? And it was horrendous. The cgi was so bad. They tried making Aki look like an absolute Chad with a huge jaw and Elijah Wood kind of blue eyes. And his top knot (which was also cgi????) was just a little tiny itty bitty wisp of hair sticking out at the back of his head. And they added red streaks in his hair????? (The red matched Angel devil’s hair though so that was a lil cute) And he just didn’t talk. He didn’t talk at all. He just stared you with them big ol eyes. Gojo glow in the dark eyes. And I was SO ANGRY LMAO bc I was like “THIS ISNT ACCURATE AT ALL!!! THIS IS WHY LIVE ACTION SUCKS!!!” And then I woke up. Thank you for coming to my dream talk again.

Queen Glacier is NOT the only one worried about who would succeed her #spoiler alert in my fic the queens agreed that they all need to declare an heir in case they die due to non daughter related reasons #they’re not that public about it but all queens know each others heirs #and the heirs have to know too #it’ll get brought up eventually bc multiple heirs are at the school #but the queens are still deciding on heirs so currently they’re all in a grace period #I think only Anemone and Sunny (and whoever the mudwing heir is) have been declared so far #but I do know the Icewing and Rainwing hair #Skywings…. yeah no clue. I’m not figuring out the Mudwing heir either I just know they’ve got one lined up

ok im back to hating everything. My prof really did NOT do a good job this semester I feel completely unprepared and… I’m aware that what I’m trying to do is so much more complex than what we covered in class but normally I don’t have problems to scale things up like this but I think I severely underestimated the complexity of what I’m trying to model. Lol. god I’m so scared bc a huge part of my research hinges on me figuring this out and I have NO ONE I can ask bc no one works with QGIS on this scale so help me fucking g-d lmaoooo 😭

Living in a small town for pretty much all your life is like being in a sitcom that’s been going on for way too long

#you end up being like ‘it’s season 27. why are we now bringing back a character who hasn’t been seen since season 16’#aka guy i had a crush on in secondary school’s mom is in my pilates class #ya girl never forgets a face so as soon as she walked in i was like ‘i Know her. i swear to god i know her’ my mom was like ‘you don’t know #anything’ i was like ‘hush. it’ll come to me’#it bothered me throughout the whole class but then at the end i walked out into the church car park and literally laughed #she has a personalised number plate with her surname and first initial. i turned to my mom and was like ‘don’t ever tell me i don’t know #something ever again’ she’s like ‘what’ because she’s not even familiar with this person as a concept #so i have to explain about the time this boy turned up at my house unannounced and was like ‘do you want to go for a walk’ and i was like #‘hell yeah’ so we went back to his house and his three dogs jumped all over me and his mom asked me about a bazillion questions #that was 11 years ago #i have not seen her since that day but i swear to you i remembered her. i just couldn’t figure out from where until i saw the car #anyway he’s doing like a postgrad in geology now somewhere. i bet she’s mad. she was one of those parents who hires like a billion tutors #and hopes their kid will become a doctor. babe your first mistake was sending him to a state comprehensive with a bad ofsted rating 👍🏻#literally just pretending to be catholic long enough to get him into the catholic school would’ve done way more than hiring tutors #and it would’ve been free! no one can tell me lying to the church gets you nothing #my best friend from primary school went there and got to do free violin lessons and learn german; japanese and french AND they had macs #meanwhile i was playing cricket without a bat because our school couldn’t afford bats. life isn’t fair #personal

#I’m so happy they went for kalos instead of unova #like I love unova. I love unova. but I wasn’t sure what they’d do with it that would feel right #also I was 100% expecting johto either let’s go johto or legends celebi bc SO MUCH johto in that presents. THE UNOWN. and raikou and silver #but man kalos!!!! I rlly love the gen vi pokemon and it’ll be so cool to see what they do with a different version of the region #I’m expecting a kinda time travel element honestly? it seemed to go between futuristic + past stuff a BUNCH #with the redevelopment plan and the shiny light city #+ the two versions of the map it shows. those are Definitely 2 versions and one of them is past + more similar to the one we know #and one is updated but that could just be updating for switch #but ALSO Z-A. like okay AZ for a start is coming back but that’s very much a going backwards indication right #man my friend got to watch in real time as I went through the plot of the kalos games and remembered AZ and have everything click into place #it took me way too long to click that it was kalos in the trailer like it took me until talonflame to be like wait. and then PRISM TOWER #but god yeah I’m just like.
