Arthur Harrow + helping you sleep:

*He gets to know about your bad sleep schedule because one night he found you snickering into the kitchen. The dark circles under your eyes are more obvious without sunlight or any other thing on your face and he asks you if you cannot sleep well.

*Arthur will take you to your or his bedroom, pointing out his intention is merely help you to sleep. He cares about you very much and doesn't want your health decrease for things like these.

*He'll make sure you're comfortable. If for some reason you don't wear proper pajamas, Arthur may help you search for some suitable clothing, for he truly thinks everything around an activity (even a non-active activity like this) can affect the result. Also, will ask you to put away your phone or computer.

*He will read something for you. Not talking, for it may ruin the main goal, so he asks you to lay in your favorite position and will sit next to you, with a book on his hands (mostly poetry, for it is rythmical and soothing).

*If that doesn't work, he may offer you a soft massage on your shoulders. Probably will caress your head, gently touching your hair without making any sound.

*If the reason behind your sleep problems are nightmares (it happens more often that some people think), Arthur won't hesitate on sleeping with you. If he notices you're begining to whimper and shake, he'll wake you up immediately and will hug you. He'll also be more than okay to hear you talking about the nightmares, so you can vent the bad feelings they put in you.

Max Payne 3: Uma Jornada Pelo Submundo com Toque Brasileiro

Concluí a jornada em Max Payne 3, um título que ansiava revisitar desde a primeira vez que o experimentei no Xbox 360. Finalmente, aproveitei uma promoção para adquiri-lo, e devo dizer que o jogo superou minhas expectativas. Refletindo sobre algumas controvérsias da época e analisando a representação de São Paulo, que mais parece o Rio de Janeiro, com temas como tráfico de órgãos, um país retratado como pobre e repleto de palavrões e conteúdo adulto. Fico me perguntando se essa é a visão que os estrangeiros têm do nosso país.

No entanto, pondero: "Qual jogo da Rockstar não faz isso com o local onde a história se passa?"

A narrativa da Rockstar, repleta de críticas e intensificando situações em prol da história, é quase uma assinatura da empresa. Mesmo que seja exagerado, há elementos ali que se alinham surpreendentemente bem com acontecimentos atuais no Brasil, o que é, no mínimo, intrigante.

Corrupção, manipulação da mídia e abuso de poder, especialmente na área de segurança pública, são temas que ecoam em diálogos e situações que eu consigo facilmente imaginar em um noticiário local, o que me deixa perplexo.

Além desses detalhes, a trama me cativou profundamente. Max é um protagonista fenomenal, complexo e multifacetado. A história é digna de um roteiro premiado para série ou filme.

A jogabilidade me empolgou consideravelmente. Prefiro muito mais o sistema de combate aqui do que o presente em GTA V, que claramente se inspirou bastante em Max Payne 3. Há uma sensação de "realismo" até onde é possível sem sacrificar a diversão. Espero que a Rockstar mantenha essa mecânica em futuros jogos da série, pois considero uma das melhores para representar um game de ação. Outros títulos, como um possível jogo baseado em John Wick, poderiam se beneficiar dessa fórmula. Detalhes nas armas e mecânicas que alguns jogos de 2023 ainda não replicam.

Max Payne 3 é um jogo excepcional, uma franquia que clama por uma continuação e um remake dos antigos seria mais do que bem-vindo.

Mal posso esperar para revisitá-lo assim que elaborar a lista dos jogos que ainda preciso concluir.

Moult références à la trépidante existence du personnage en attestent : sa prédilection pour le Brésil en général et pour Caetano Veloso en particulier (avec cette fulgurante répartie du chanteur lors d'une interview : I like the roots but I prefer the fruit); ses activités d'Inspecteur La Galette pour l'émission Contrôle Discal; sa redoutable efficacité de DJ RKK pour que se trémoussent d'affriolantes Kopoulettes (mais pas que !) sur les pistes de danse, son aptitude à connecter les artistes et les talents; ainsi que la joyeuse viralité de ses passions (je me fais plaisir et j'essaie d'être contagieux).

Diffusé en streaming depuis le 10 mai 2024, ce single est extrait de "The Party", neuvième album du duo formé par Cyril Atef et Vincent Segal. D'abord paru au format double LP vinyle en édition limitée sur le label Komos Records le 16 février, le disque a enfin été rendu disponible sur toutes les plates-formes le 24 mai 2024.

Song stuck in my head- Until an hour ago was Dancing Through Life from Wicked bc I’m watching it tomorrow and as I was telling @mimix007 I have been dreaming very heavily about seeing Johnathan Bailey dressed as Fiyero with those cute tight pants (don’t judge me too harshly before you actually see the pants). But THEN I just watched the Bonnie and Clyde musical and Raise a Little Hell decided to live rent free in my head for the past hour (mum banished me from putting in the car after the third repeat)

Dream trip - Now see here that’s not a fair question. I have SEVERAL. I got one of them down and when I visited Italy in Jan. I would love to go to Greece. I’ve always wanted to see St. Petersburg. I’d love to do a Broadway spree on NY or a West End Spree in London (I’d love to know London as well). I dream of going to Gramado during the Natal Luz. I want to visit Bonito-MT. I want to visit Mexico during Dia de Los Muertos. I want to go to Disney Oggie-Boogie Bash. I’d die to go to the San Diego Comic Con or participate in the Star Wars Celebration. I’d like to visit India. I’d love to go to Cappadocia and see the Balloons. I’m curious about Tokyo. I want to go to Argentina. I want to see France and the UK and Spain and some parts of Portugal I haven’t been to. I want to go to Berlin and Vienna and Croatia. Seriously I can go on for days here. In the end I just really love travelling and there’s so much I want to see and so little time and money ugh
