New Account

I’m pretty sure most of you know me from the eating disorder community. Recently, I have almost fully recovered from my eating disorder for no reason at all. I have been struggling with it for two years, so it came as a shock when it almost completely disappeared. Because of this, I am trying to step away from the toxicity of the “ana community”. Even though I have met some amazing people here, I want to keep up good habits, not bad. On another note, some of you might have experienced my specialty in tarot card readings. If you have and would like to keep up with me that way, or if you have not and would like to experience it, my new account is: neues-madchen. It will be a more positive, and uplifting place where you can ask me for whatever readings you may desire and the pricings and whatnot. For those of you still struggling with an eating disorder, I wish you well and hope that one day you beat it too. I know the road ahead won’t be easy, and I might relapse again, but that’s okay, and there’s always hope.

Day1: What energy should I leave behind this solstice, and what energy should I bring in? (With a bonus card in the middle! Yay for jumpers) 

What energy should I leave behind: The turtle is grounded and at home in his shell, and while his shell may hold many stories, it can also be a place where he can hoard things that no longer serve him. Its weight can trap him down and slow him to a halt. This is the energy that I need to leave behind during this solstice. I have a habit of not necessarily hoarding, but staying where I feel safe and comfortable. It’s time for adventures. 

What energy should I bring in: The dragon sees everything, he’s observant, courageous, and transformative. I need to bring this realness to my life. The dragon knows exactly who he is, he has no secrets with himself and he knows his true spirit. I need to look deep within myself, bring in that transformative energy, and meet my true soul. 

Bonus card: The cobra represents a spiritual teacher or guardian. He hovers and watches, loving and protecting every step of the way. Knowledge is infinite, there is always something to learn. I think he’s appearing to tell me that some really big lessons lie in this challenge, and I’m excited to learn!

Today’s spread 🌅🦁 . . I have to admit that for me, reading tarot isn’t always about which cards I draw. It’s a multi-sensory experience, where I prioritize creating a beautiful moment for myself. . . I listen to quiet music, light some incense or candles or sage (or all 3??), drink my coffee, and arrange my table in a way that looks nice to me. I take my time shuffling and often stop to adjust if something doesn’t look or feel right. I spend a good long while editing my pictures so they look pretty, and I have no guilt about that.
