Since we have a explaination 'bout how Kalshara work,how and why the KCs became the KCs?

Not me wondering for a hot minute what the KCs are XD

I'll separate them into two categories

Kyral and Kelli are both products of society From watching Winx, people tend to assume the worst of witches. Like to an extreme degree, esp in the 4kids dub. Everyone seems to assume that a witch is guilty until proven innocent.

This is never really explained in canon, and witch is often just used as a short hand for evil. Which like okay then why have an entire ass school for them? So I assume that it's just societal phobia, and witches are irrationally used as the scapegoat for everything. Can't imagine that being a parallel to ANYTHING in the real world tho. And I'm gonna assume that the Ancestral Witches did a lot to damage their fellow witch's' reputation. Thanks, ya dicks.

So Kelli and Kyral are both products of the bigoted society they both grew up in. They are conditioned to think that witches being evil is normal and to be expected.

They both genuinely believe that they are good people and are fighting for a good cause. Kalshara manipulates them by appealing to this ingrained bigotry. "The witches in your school are a danger to you and your fellow fairies, and you need to protect them from harm".

Both have figurative walls around their bigotry, but Kelli's figurative wall is a lot weaker than Kyral's which leaves her open to seeing the truth and reforming

And then there's Yomi

Yomi isn't a product of this same society. She is terrified of witches. Because of this lil event called The Fall of Domino where she watched her whole world crumble apart and everyone she ever knew being seemingly killed and then suddenly waking up 18 years later into a universe that has moved on without her. Yomi was approached by the Ancestral Witches, who sensed her growing inner darkness, and offered her a place beside them. Which she refused. She is only alive today because a Guardian Fairy sacrificed her life to save her.

This has left Yomi with fear and paranoia, and it is all directed at witches. She feels like she's lost control of her life, and believes eradicating all witches will finally allow her to live in peace and safety.

She is aware that what she's doing isn't right, but she doesn't care. She can barely sleep at night, fearful that a witch will come and take everything away again.

So it's no real wonder why Kalshara picked her

As someone who's decided to rewatch Winx Club (for nostalgia) I have grown to really hate The Trix.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE them in season 1. Icy, Stormy & Darcy were so cool and I adored them but after that, they appeared in every. single. season.

It drove me insane when I was a kid and I can see why. Why couldn't the villains in Wind Club be:

S1: The Trix

S2. Lord Darkar

S3. Valtor

S4. The Wizards of the Black Circle

S5. Tritannus

S6. Selina & Acheron

S7. Kalshara

S8. Valtor & The Trix

And not be:

S1. The Trix

S2. Lord Darkar & The Trix

S3. Valtor & The Trix

S4. The Wizards of the Black Circle

S5. Tritannus & The Trix

S6. Selina, Acheron & The Trix

S7. Kalshara & The Trix

S8. Valtor & The Trix

I get it, they're fan favourites but do they have to be shoved into every season? I've started S4 and I'm loving the focus on the Wizards and not having the Trix show up. I think they were in an episode but that was it.

I also get that there's a story with them that after S1, they're at this prison or a rejuvenating site and they escape, they're on the run, get imprisoned, break out but why did they go from cool & badass to just sidekicks/henchmen to the other villains?

This is nothing against them being in love (even tho that was annoying too) but I just wished the show focused on the season's villain and have no Trix whatsoever or have cutaways to them but don't have them be the main focus.

I also understand that they want revenge on the Winx and that's understandable but wouldn't it have been cooler to have not seen them until S8 where they have trained and planned the revenge? Like they weren't seen because they were making themselves stronger and are actually beating the Winx in fights when they reappear again.

I do apologise for the long rant but rewatching this show has made me realise why younger me loved the Wizards of the Black Circle way more and S4 as a whole.

duman vs kalshare

This one goes out to the people who weren't there during the great YouTube comment battle, allow me to set the stage for you:

All the way back in December of 2021 I was just existing on YT, looking at a couple videos, whatever- When suddenly, in a random comment section I came across the question that started it all. If Duman and Kalshara were to fight, who would win? And because I was about as normal as I am now, very extremely normal, I just. Jumped in there. Which I actually don't do, usually. Commenting stresses me out and ''arguments'' even more so.

I said Duman would win ofc. No surprises there. Now I will admit I literally just went "Duman." and dipped, I was satisfied with that at the time. I think a couple of people did the same thing, actually? Just a short chain of "Duman", it was kinda funny. Then the person started their defense, something along the lines of: "Kalshare has fairy magic and wild magic, that's more than Duman." And I'm not 100% proud of this response, but basically I just went "nuh uh"?? Like yeah it's more in the sense that. Those are two things. But is it more in terms of strength? 2021 me didn't think so. And lowkey I still don't.

Is it my bias against season 7? Maybe.

But did Kalshara still have her fairy powers when she went full wild magic? Idk!! If she did, she'd still wouldn't have finished/graduated fairy school?? I'd argue still being part fairy would put her at more of a disadvantage tbh, because y'know. Trained fairy hunter who is immune to fairy magic. Which is a point that was brought up to the commenter, Duman can't be hurt by 'lesser fairy magic', as mean as that might sound. The Winx themselves needed a specific transformation to start doing damage to the Black Circle, ignoring how some people feel about that, it was a thing. We told them that. Kalshara isn't a Believix fairy so her being a fairy would not help.

Besties. When I tell you their response will be engraved into my mind forever. "We never saw her transform so we don't know if she is." SORRY lemme just-

I don't even feel like explaining why that's a deranged take, so I'm not gonna. I'll just move on to my next point.

This might be because I don't really respect wild magic as a whole, but what it looks like is just. Transforming into animals and creatures. Which? Slay ig. But it seems that's where the limit is. Animals and creatures. Duman is shown to also be able to transform into people and fucking WATER on top of animal and creatures. It's his preference rather than his limit. We don't really know where his actual limit is and S4 didn't bother giving a clear answer. Just kinda killed him off. That whole thing also vague in the show.

Anyway, we went back and forth for a bit, didn't come to an agreement or anything whatever. I ended up finding this person in other comment sections after this as well! Asking the same question. One comment section being. My own. Under my Duman VA video. I think the original comment section was blocked because the video got marked as for kids, but I may have some screenshots laying around that I'll add in a reblog if I find them. I do have this response to one of her comments that I decided not to interact with:

So, Kalshara is the main antagonist of Roxy and Selina in part 2.2. - where she comes to Earth in search of power over the Wild Magic.

And i'm thinking about making Tritannus be her boyfriend, since i leave out Brafilius of the story anyway.

Tritannus wouldn't be a merman, but from Andros. I'd make him a Mage, who's also in is last year at Alfea.

He'd just be the supporting boyfriend of a power hungy girlie (poor guy). Either that, or they are an evil power couple.

But his source of powers would still be poisons and toxins.

I'll see what i can make of that. But i kinda like it.

The catgirl of this Monday Meow is Kalshara from Winx Club!

Kalshara is the antagonist of Season 7 of Winx Club. She is ambitious, demanding, and disrespectful toward fairies (despite the fact that she herself is a fairy) and nature itself. Kalshara is capable of taming Fairy Animals. Moreover, she excels at shapeshifting and can take the form of many animals - although she predominantly presents as a cat hybrid.

The Timeline of AU-ix

The main-story is split in halves:

my Winx Club rewrite and

it's spin-off: Terrestrial Magic returning

I will try to keep them separated as good as possible, mostly because i don't want Bloom to be part of everything. That's why most of the events of the two halvess happen at the same time.

Here is the rough outline:

1.1. Season 1 of Winx Club - my rewrite stays closest to canon with this one. 1.2. Roxy and Selina against Acheron - Roxy and Selina, who gerw up as sisters, unlock their magic and discover they are Terrestrial Witches. The main villain is Acheron with the Legendarium. 2.1. Season 2 of Winx Club with Valtor as the main villain - Valtor, Icy and Stormy try to get the pieces of the Codex in order to free the Ancestral Witches' spirits from Oblivion. 2.2. Roxy, Selina and Macy against Kalshara and Tritannus - Macy the first human able to use Terrestrial Magic. Kalshara is a Fairy from Alfea and Tritannus a Sorcerer from Red Fountain. Both are in their last year and lost something when the Trix attacked. They are followers of Minerva and want to gain control and power of the Wild Magic on Earth. 3.1. Season 3 of Winx with a focus on Minerva, Icy and the Ancestral Witches - they want to bring back the Shadow Phoenix with of the pieces of the Shadow Flame. 3.2. Roxy, Selina and Macy against the Wizards of the Black Circle.

Question: Why are transformations after Believix ignored in your rewrite/au of the later seasons of Winx Club? Because I like the idea of your characters fighting villains like Tritannus and Kalshara.

Dunman is probably one of them, Stella has power over light so she should be allowed to see them too, that's all I got

See this is why I said at least 6, because Stella hadn't really crossed my mind? Somehow? But yeah the light thing makes sense I think, so I'll allow it. She can join. Actually looking back about an hour ago, I mostly added villains?? That's so problematic of me, now she simply MUST join! If only for balance.

Moving on- Yes, Duman can see shrimp colors, same reason Kalshara and Brafilius (from season 7) can. Them being mostly cat and dog respectively doesn't impact this all that much, could probably sneeze too hard and suddenly see no color. Amateurs. They all have their little animal bs going on and have successfully unlocked shrimp colors.

Next we have Roxy, y'know, fairy of animals. I'm of the firm belief she has spells for this. Shrimp eyes activate. The enemy doesn't stand a chance. Don't underestimate a girl and her shrimp colors.

Then there's Tritannus, now, you might be thinking "Is it because he's a merman? Shouldn't the other merpeople also see shrimp colors then?" and to that I say NO. He can't see shrimp colors because he's a merman, he sees them because he's mutated. It took radioactive waste for him to unlock the shrimp colors.

Finally, we have Darkar, who looks a bit like a shrimp. That's all I got. Also a magical devil-like creature being part shrimp is extremely funny to me. Infinitely funnier than part bird is.
