Oil and Gas Filtration
For oil and gas applications, mesh filter discs are utilized in filtration systems to remove impurities and contaminants from fluids. They help maintain the integrity of equipment and ensure the quality of end products.
Water Treatment
Mesh filter discs are integral components in water treatment systems. They assist in the removal of sediment, debris, and harmful particles, ensuring clean and safe water for consumption or industrial processes.
Benefits of Mesh Filter Discs
Customizable Filtration Levels: With a range of mesh counts available, mesh filter discs offer a high degree of customization. This allows industries to achieve the precise level of filtration required for their processes.
Durable and Long-Lasting: Mesh filter discs are typically made from robust materials, ensuring they can withstand harsh environments and extended use.
Low Maintenance: These discs are relatively easy to clean and maintain, reducing downtime and ensuring consistent filtration performance.
Cost-Effective: Mesh filter discs provide an economical solution for achieving high-quality filtration, often outperforming alternative methods in terms of both cost and efficiency.
Selecting the Right Mesh Filter Disc
When choosing a mesh filter disc, consider factors such as:
Mesh Count: Determine the appropriate mesh count based on the size of particles you need to filter.
Material: Select a material compatible with the substances being filtered and the operating environment.
Size and Shape: Ensure the disc dimensions fit your filtration system.
Conclusion
Mesh filter discs are indispensable tools in a wide array of industries, offering precise and efficient filtration solutions. Understanding their applications and benefits, as well as how to select the right one, is essential for maximizing their effectiveness in your specific processes. By incorporating mesh filter discs into your filtration system, you can achieve higher levels of purity, quality, and efficiency in your operations.

The Heart of My Healing: A Love Letter to My Fur Baby

While most people spend this day avoiding black cats and watching for signs of superstition, I get the joy of spending it with my fur babies. I’ve talked about Oliver before, but today I want to introduce someone truly special—Maxine Wye Davis.
Maxi came into our lives in 2013. She was a rescue, just over a year old when Scott and I adopted her. She was our first baby, and because Scott’s battle with cancer meant we couldn’t have children, she quickly became even more than a pet—she was family.
Now at over 13 years old, Maxine is still one of my greatest sources of comfort and light. She is one of the few reasons I made it through the early, darkest days of grief after losing Scott.
As a puppy, she was lightning fast, strong, determined—and incredibly stubborn. I’ll never forget the time she was hit by a car and walked away with a shattered shoulder. It didn’t stop her. She adapted, learned to thrive with three legs, and became even tougher. That resilience shaped her, and in turn, she has shaped me.
Maxi is loyal, loving, sweet, and endlessly wise. She has a way of looking deep into my eyes like she knows exactly how my heart feels. And sometimes, I swear she’s saying, “It’s okay, Mommy. I got you.”
Her quiet companionship, her gentle understanding, and her love have helped me hold it together when I felt like I might fall apart.
So today, on this spooky, mysterious Friday the 13th, I want to say: Thank you, Maxine Wye Davis, for loving me. I am one incredibly blessed mommy.
With light, love, and a little bit of puppy magic, Karen

Akaashi: Is this thing...working?
Y/n: Course it is! Hear that? It's whirring, that means something has to be working.
Akaashi: You know what else whirred? My old laptop that blew up in physics last month.
You tap the microphone, and a high pitched ring sounds from the speakers. Akaashi slaps the headphones on, forgetting that they are connected to the two microphones.
Y/n: Ow! What the hell?
Akaashi: You haven't put the windscreen on yet! Mute the mic!
One hand over your left ear, the other hand scrambles for the mute button to stop the ringing, and Akaashi breathes a sigh of relief as the auditory torment comes to an end. You let go of your ear, now shuffling through papers and packaged food for the foam cover that has been buried beneath them. You manage to fish out a ball of tangled cables, the black piece of foam trapped in between. Pulling and threading wires through each other, they loosen enough to release the windscreen from their mess, and you stretch it over the metallic mesh of your microphone.
Y/n: There, is that better? I think it's better.
Akaashi: Much better.
Y/n: It's official, sound engineering is my future calling.
Akaashi: The last time you used my guitar amp, you almost blew up the insides plugging a bass into it. Please stay far away from sound engineering.
Y/n: You're no fun Keiji. Loosen up! Relax!
Akaashi: I'll relax when I walk us out of this studio in one piece. Why is the mic still whirring? I don't like that.
You clear your throat, before snatching a pack of melon bread and ripping open the plastic wrap haphazardly. Crumbs land on the pop filter of your microphone, and Akaashi clicks his tongue, swiping them off gently from beside you. From the recording booth, two bells sound simultaneously- the muffled, distant class bell from the neighbouring high school, and the booming lunch bell of Fukurodani. 12:51 pm.
Y/n: Hello hello to Fukurodani High! God, this is a really weird time to be broadcasting, isn't it? I mean, who starts lunch almost a whole hour after noon? Like, just pick twelve, or like twelve thirty, right? Even twelve fifty would've made more sense. Why twelve fifty-one?
Akaashi: Yeah, but that gives us a killer podcast name, doesn't it? 12:51 AM sounds way better than 12:50 AM.
Y/n: That's- good poi- Keij- input is- crashed?
Akaashi's audio cuts off, popping and crackling through his headphones as you continue to speak. He clicks his tongue, flicking the mic once, twice, and a third time with his finger. When that doesn't work, he cranks the mic clamp, and curses beneath his breath just quietly enough to not be picked up by the microphone. Pushing and twisting it around, he finds the perfect position, just above his head, angled upwards ever so slightly. Yes, he has to crane his neck for the duration of the podcast, and he can already feel the muscles in his shoulders tensing. But he can hear your voice perfectly this way, the silent humming of static buzzing unobtrusively beneath your talking. He's going to feel the strain at volleyball after school, but this is close enough to perfect for the broadcast.
Y/n: Alright, it's registering again.
Akaashi: I give it another five minutes to cut out again.
Y/n: Man, can't the school fund for a better PR system or something? Keiji, remember that one time we had a bomb threat and the announcement wasn't working in our classroom?
Akaashi: Yeah, this might just get us killed one day. To any teachers listening to this, can we please get a PR system upgrade?
Y/n: And that's not even the worst part! We're using AM radio at the moment, but if only we could use FM... not like anyone would notice the difference anyways.
You take a bite of your melon bread, and crumbs fall onto your pop filter again. Akaashi can't help but to swipe them off the foam cover for you, even as you keep talking. The recording booth now smells like metal sound equipment, with an odd hint of artificial melon.
Y/n: Anyways, you are currently tuned in to 12:51 AM radio! We're your hosts, y/n-
Akaashi: And Akaashi. Fukurodani's weird lunch time means that no one else is using the same frequency as we are, so we can actually run this show without any interference. Hooray to that.
You laugh at Akaashi's random spiel, punching his arm. He rubs his bicep, even though you didn't hit him that hard, before realising that his head is off centre from the microphone. He readjusts to his original seating position swiftly.
Y/n: Oh come on Keiji, no one understands enough about radio frequencies to get that! What's important is that we'll be your central student hub for-
Akaashi: I don't think we can call ourselves the student hub, isn't that the wellbeing area upstairs?
Y/n: ...True. Well! The two of us will be your main source of lunch entertainment once a week then! I'm not even too sure what our main topics are gong to be, so I guess stay tuned and be surprised?
Akaashi: I second that sentiment, stay tuned and be surprised everyone, because we'll be surprising ourselves as well. These episodes are available to watch on the school's website, so if you ever feel like going back to an episode again, or there was something you didn't quite catch, you can go back any time for it.
Y/n: Buuuut all you gotta do is show up at school, and you'll get the unedited, unfiltered first edition of each episode! How 'bout that!
Akaashi: Correct. The school is definitely not making sure we endorse good attendance.
Y/n: Don't say that Keiji!
You punch his side this time, and Akaashi snickers at your weak hit, head staying scarily still as he catches your wrist in his grasp while you pull away. You twist your hand from his fist, smacking his hand, before erupting into a fit of giggles. He raises his brow tauntingly, watching you turn back to your microphone from the corner of his eye. You take a deep breath in, and Akaashi doesn't miss the way your fingers grip the edge of the table so hard that they turn pale. You've never been this quiet.
Y/n: Now, without further ado....
He thinks you'll do just fine.
Akaashi: Welcome, to the first edition of 12:51 AM radio.
author's note: do you guys fw the script format? I'll probably be mixing this and full prose between chapters, but I've been really getting into scriptwriting and staging things, but i'm not exactly a filmmaker so scriptwriting is all i can do. take it as dialogue practice i guess. hope you guys enjoyed anyways!

Want loose-leaf tea but don't want it loose in your cup? Don't have one of those mesh ball things? Try using a coffee filter and one of those twist-ties that come on bread bags! Not the solid plastic ones, the metal wire ones. That's what I use.

wip open season !!!! very interested in 72 and 94, but honestly i’ll take any sukuita crumbs you’re willing to feed us 🙏
There's another answer coming up with the sukuita aspects of #72, and #94 is less of an outline than four bullet points of the chapter structure with a link to my chat with @nearalways, so let's get you some sukuita that no one else has asked for (yet)!
93. who encrypted your dark gospel in body language: No-curse AU in which Gojou walks in on Yuuji, his new freshman student, fucking all three of his family members at various locations in the school and decides to wriggle his way into that dickquation.
Grabbing the sukuita parts of this, filtered through the eyes of voyeur!Gojou:
G overhears a couple of students: The Itadori twins are fighting again—on the roof this time // Eh, can we watch? // No, Fushiguro is standing guard, and you know that asshole will kick you down the stairs.
G perks up and heads to the roof, and sure enough, Megumi’s standing guard and looking so, so pained. G teases him and starts to open the door, M physically catches his arm, nearly clinging to it while he says G really doesn’t want to see what’s out there. G amused by the desperation, says (a) he’s seen and probably done worse in his own HS years—he and his best friend fought a lot and (b) he won’t get the kids in trouble, just break it up if it gets too much. Kids should get into trouble with adult supervision.
M saying that makes no sense, and by then, Gojou’s out the door and on the roof, following the sounds of grunting. Realizes that doesn’t sound like fighting a second before he catches sight of a pink-haired boy with his face shoved into the wire mesh and hands pinned at his back, getting pounded by an identical figure. First thinks it’s Yuuji bottoming, but then he sees Yuuji’s distinctive two-toned hair and undercut (Sukuna’s hair is all pink) and the black tattoos on the pinned wrists—remembers staffroom gossip about the older twin’s tattoos and how permissive the parents must be. Takes in the torn clothes and blood, the rough fucking and pained sounds, the familiarity.
G watches until it’s clear Yuuji’s about to finish (work in the nape biting) and then waltzes back to where Megumi’s slumped pale-faced by the door. Hell of a show, says G. I’m surprised you’re here and not out there watching. Megumi spluttering and G whistling as he heads back down.

If you didn’t grow up in a family with a cook who taught you how to store bacon grease, it might seem like a foreign concept. We clean off all other pan drippings after cooking, so why save these? You're probably well aware of the superpowers of bacon fat, though. Many of our most popular dishes of 2024 feature bacon, and several of our fan-favorite million dollar recipes—named because they taste so rich and delicious—start by cooking bacon, reserving the meat for later, then employing some of the bacon grease to infuse even more flavor into the recipe’s next step. (Want to give this a try? Don’t miss our Million Dollar Tater Tot Casserole, Million Dollar Mashed Potatoes, or Million Dollar Dip.) Even if a portion of the bacon fat is utilized later in the recipe, all of it rarely is. And many times, we’re just cooking bacon for the strips themselves and don’t have any use for the grease immediately. Rather than discarding the extra grease that’s left in the pan, our Test Kitchen and the chefs we spoke to suggest tucking it away for later. Here’s how to store bacon grease, including one essential step that will make your bacon grease stay fresh for as long as possible. Then discover the best (and worst) ways to use bacon grease in brand-new creations. How to Cook Bacon to Be Able to Capture Its Grease Although some folks on social media demonstrate it, we don’t advise air-frying bacon, since the fat can splatter and build up on the interior of the appliance and may lead the machine to smoke. You can also hit the “easy” button and cook bacon in the microwave. However, we recommend doing so between two sheets of paper towel to keep the strips crispy and from splattering—and those towels soak up the fat. Our Test Kitchen has two preferred methods for how to cook bacon in a way that allows you to keep the grease: on the stovetop or in the oven. To cook bacon on the stove: Line a sheet pan foil and place the wire rack over the foil. Arrange bacon strips on the rack, being careful not to crowd the strips.Bake at 400° F for about 18 to 21 minutes, or until the bacon reaches your desired level of crispiness.Remove the rack and bacon from the pan, and allow the grease to cool for 3 minutes. To cook bacon in the oven: Line a plate with paper towels.Arrange bacon slices in an unheated skillet, being careful not to crowd the strips.Turn on a burner to medium, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until your desired doneness, using tongs to turn occasionally.Transfer the bacon to the prepared plate, and allow the grease to cool for 3 minutes. Use your crispy strips in your favorite bacon recipes (might we recommend Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole or Alice’s Spring Chicken?) and turn your attention to the liquid gold: our grease. Getty Images / VladK213 The No. 1 Step to Help Your Bacon Grease Stay Fresh For As Long As Possible While the bacon grease is warm, but not scorching hot, transfer it to a liquid measuring cup. Into your storage vessel of choice, pour the grease through a fine mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter or cheesecloth to capture any extra bacon bits. “If you don’t strain your bacon grease, it will cause the fat to turn rancid quicker than normal,” says Justin Harry, executive chef at TradeWinds Resort in St. Pete’s Beach, Florida. How to Store Bacon Grease The best place to store bacon grease is in a wide-mouthed mason jar or a glass food storage container with a lid, because “glass helps reduce the flavor absorption. Plus, it’s safer and easier to heat the bacon grease in the microwave later on, if you like,” says Sarah Brekke, M.S., Better Homes & Gardens Test Kitchen brand manager. Once you have your strained bacon grease in your glass storage container or jar, allow it to cool to room temperature, then press a layer of plastic wrap on top of the grease. Add the lid. While you can keep it on your counter, bacon grease will last much longer if you store your bacon grease in a fridge set to USDA’s safe refrigerator temp range of 32° to 40° F. “When you're using your grease, remove what you need for your recipe, then put it back into the fridge quickly. There is no need to let it soften first, just scoop it out,” suggests Jason Morse, the Highlands Ranch, Colorado-based chef-owner of Chef J BBQ Provisions and national spokesperson for Ace Hardware. “The more you soften and chill it again and again, the shorter the shelf life will be.” Can You Freeze Bacon Grease? You bet. Instead of straining your grease into a glass vessel, Harry recommends pouring it into a silicone ice cube tray. Freeze the grease until it is solid, then pop out the cubes and place them in a freezer-safe zip-top storage bag. Label with the name and date, and keep at or below 0° F, the USDA advises. How Long Does Bacon Grease Last When stored according to the recommendations above, bacon grease will last: On the counter: About 1 week In the refrigerator: About 3 monthsIn the freezer: 6 to 12 months How to Use Bacon Grease in Cooking (Plus a Few Recipes to Avoid) Think of bacon grease like lard’s smokier, statement-making cousin. Technically, you can use bacon grease in any recipe that calls for butter, oil, or shortening, Harry says. But it can be helpful to brainstorm dishes in which the rich flavor and smoky quality will be a delight rather than a drawback. “Avoid recipes where the bacon flavor would not mesh well,” Brekke notes. “Many desserts [like pastries or vanilla cake], seafood, stir-fries, or lighter-flavored items could get overpowered by the bacon flavor.” On the flip side, our chefs agree that these are some of the best uses for bacon grease: Use it to fry or scramble eggs Add it to biscuit dough or cornbread Try it to kick off a fried rice recipe Use it to fry chicken Melt it as the cooking fat for popcorn Employ it in soups like Copycat Zuppa Toscana Soup or Cheesy Beer and Bacon Soup Toss it with roasted potatoes Scoop some into a skillet to set the tone for sautéed vegetables Use it instead of butter to crisp up the exterior of your next grilled cheese Add it to refried beans Try it instead of butter or oil in roux Get adventurous and use it to replace a small portion of the butter in your next brownie or chocolate chip cookie recipe Source link

ARTEMIS !!! MAY I . MAY I ASK ABOUT CLOCKWORK PLEASE . . maybe mesh + flannel + brocade ?! 🥺🤲🏻🤍 I LOVEEE YOUU
EVIE DARLING HELLO HELLO !!! 🤍
mesh — when did you realize you were in love?
for cassia, it happened slower, since she’s still figuring out different feelings. but i def think for her, the realization happened after she started comparing navia to things - like the sunlight that filtered into her workshop’s sunroof, the rainbow roses growing along the fontainian countryside, the blue of the ocean that looks so much like navia’s eyes, etc etc. she’s never felt this way about someone before (she may as well be an infant when it comes to human emotions LOL). and then she started making little gizmos and knickknacks for navia 🥹 little things she thought navia would like, or inventing things for her to help her in her daily life. cassia had never understood what “love” meant - both as a word and as a feeling - until she met navia. she figured out what it means on her own. and not the definition, but what it FEELS like to love someone.
as for navia, it happened way faster. she became quite taken with cassia after working on a case with her, and ever since, she’s made excuses to visit her. she would frequently ask her to partner with her for a case, or bake her macarons and other sweets. she was fascinated with how cassia moved and talked, bc she’s never met a robotic-like human quite like her before. the mechas in the city don’t hold a candle to the brilliance of cassia’s mind and soul. most of that intrigue was what got her closer to cassia, and what ultimately led to her quickly falling in love. she’d listen to cassia talk for HOURS about new blueprints, watch her work on her creations, and pass around ideas. she loves being in the presence of someone who has such a unique mind and skillset, and it’s almost like she can SEE the gears turning in cassia’s head LOL. she’s the biggest admirer of this girl, i swear :))
flannel — how do they comfort you when you’re overwhelmed or overstimulated?
cassia very often gets overstimulated - whether it be from loud noises, certain textures, brightness, anything to do with the senses basically… she very much reflects how overstimulated i get bc i’m autistic. she’ll go non-verbal for awhile and use the ticking of some of the machines in her workshop to calm her down. but, she’s not always in her workshop… so when she gets overstimulated in public, it can cause her to malfunction and go into a catatonic state before someone comes along and resets her system so she powers up again. after the first time this happened, it was as traumatic for navia as it was for cassia. she was so spooked, she started crying. ever since then, she makes sure that cassia carries around a set of noise-cancelling headphones in case she ever gets overstimulated. and if cassia ever needs extra reassurance, navia is there to hold her hand.
whenever navia gets overwhelmed, she seeks out cassia’s presence. cassia made a massager just for navia, and keeps it in her workshop for whenever navia visits and complains abt being overwhelmed. both cassia’s presence and the massager help navia relax again :3
brocade — what’s something imperfect between you that you’ve come to love?
cassia’s inexperience with human emotions ! it’s been hard for navia to adapt to cassia’s very blunt and oftentimes apathetic nature. cassia doesn’t do it on purpose, she just can’t help it bc it’s wired into her system. but navia is very patient and understanding, and she’s unknowingly helping cassia learn more about what it means to feel human emotions. the two of them r very good at communication, esp since cassia is very talkative and almost always says anything that’s on her mind. this is also something navia has adapted to LMAO, she’s not used to hearing someone’s every thought 😭😭

Watching me doing field recording
(This "autoethnographic" fieldnote alone takes 2 hours to complete... I spare myself from grammar editing and hope you could spare me of any mistakes too)
The recorder distributed by AK the instructor of the field-recording workshop was the same model as I bought about two months ago from the local music instrument shop, a very light-weight, handheld equipment costing a few hundred Hong Kong dollars. AK supplemented the rest of the set: a white wired 3.5mm in-ear earphone, a wind shield, and two alkaline batteries. This is my first time doing recording with a plug-in earphone on the recorder. With the inbuilt pre-amp that amplifies the sound from surrounding to your liking, my sense of listening was suddenly enhanced. In the room while AK was talking I started to test around, positioning the recorder down the table (as if I was eavesdropping). AK’s talking sound turned muffy-stuffy under the table. Patrick who sits next to me friendly knocked the table, it makes a hollow and nice sound in the earphone.

We were then sent out for 40 minutes with the new device to play around and get familiar with it. Changing lift on the 11th floor there is sharp and adhesive sound of peeling duct tape from the roll. It stands out in the very quiet, almost deadly dormant background. Associating with the female figure I saw, “it might be the helpers packing their belongings to be sent back to Philipines”, I think to myself. These aged industrial buildings can feel spooky without the busy cranky sound people makes. The aisles were very wide for trolleys to pass. But the walls in this one were painted bright colors - red on the ground floor and bright yellow on the 11th - with oversized sans serif characters indicating room numbers. Is it comic sans?

I turned on the "fluffy head" (the windshield on recorder looks cutely crazy) while taking the lift down the massive and old industrial building. Right away a rhythmic sound in the lift caught my attention. “If this is in the mystery sound no one would recognize it”, I thought. In this blank, empty in-between time, waiting to be transferred from one space to another, there was something working in the background, enabling the movement of the lift. My movement is not taken for granted, it is worked out by certain mechanisms, and such mechanisms leave a sonic trace. There was also the sound of different parts of a metal chain touching each other behind the steel sheet that boxes us in the lift. The fan made a low-pitched monotonous vibrating sound. Moving the fluffy head closer I hear it closer to me.
Down at the street level the nuances suddenly disappeared. The sound of the cars and buses suddenly swirled and overwhelmed everything else. My head didn’t spin. It numbed and suffocated. Sound Degradation like what Bernie Krause said, is this mesh of undistinguishable business. From afar in the country parks it turns to a low, roaming background noise, not unlike the electric white noise that persists every clip of recording. Isn’t it like the evasive plants that just expand at all cost, covering and killing everything under it? Our brain filters it out for our survival and it was quite successful. But how about the birds, the anthropomorphised, exhausted asian koel making a hoarse sound in late spring still desperately searching for a mate?
I looked at the map and decided to make my way to the ferry. At least there would be less traffic, maybe some trees and birds, ferry infrastructure will also be interesting (I’m interested in water related structures anyway). Crossing the road I heard the iconic sound of Hong Kong traffic lights. Exotic and exciting it may sound for tourists and new comers, I was however slightly annoyed by it - such an overly-dominant attention attractor! Passing by the green@community temporary recycle station, I wondered whether sound made by the act of dumping waste would be interesting. Then I heard birds remotely but surely. The high-pitch pierced through the background noise and made a pure, rounded and oppulent debut. If my attention was a clock, that chirping sound suddenly took the area between the hour and minute hands of 11:05. It was uplifting, undisturbed by the gloomy ground beneath it. With the sound in my earphone on, I kept walking, trying to get closer to the bird. But the sound in two earplugs can hardly be distinguished. I found it was easier to find the source direction with the earplugs off, using my carnal ears instead. Is this because of the background noise? Or there is something that is yet to be captured by the technology?
Tracing the birds I found myself standing next to a cotton tree (Bombax ceiba). In a rare 30C degree sunny day in late March, the bright red flowers contrast its bleaching white bark and the blue sky. Cotton trees flowers before leaves sprout, therefore this single tree looked less dense than the rest (mostly different kinds of banyan trees) and created a hole where what happens on the branches were more exposed. I clicked “record”, decided to waiting for the chirping to maybe appear, disappear, and change in volume. AK suggested us to make longer recordings. The minimum requirement for soundmap uploading is one minute, and he himself often makes recording 45 min or longer. That means staying in one place for as long as the recording goes and possibly doing nothing other than paying attention.

The chirping is distinct, sometimes chimed in by some lower “goo goo” sound. Then I spotted spotted doves (Streptopelia chinensis) on the taller branches. The minimum Flowers plump to the ground intermittently, making a heavy thud (do I hear the thud, or do I know because I’ve hold the heavy flower in my hand?). Other times dried flower or leave drop too, but I cannot hear a sound.
Through the leafless branches and flowers I saw a bird perching on a branch. The colour was unclear, but its crest instantly revealed its identity of a red-whiskered bul-bul (Pycnonotus jocosus). “Of course”, I thought to myself and suddenly the oppulent and delight chirping sound makes sense. This little thing was not making an mating effort, I think. It had something in its mouth, maybe food, maybe a small fibre for making nests, maybe something else but beyond what human being could understand about bird’s life. It was taking its time under the sunshine, twisting its head in small angles, as paying attention to something. Maybe it was also listening, paying attention. Is it still interested in those sounds - cars and busses and airplanes and dialogues - which are not part of their language systems? Can its brain also screen off the grumbling roaming noises that is below their feet? Maybe the ground under ourselves also makes a background noise, but we will only be able to distinguish it in the playback once we are shipped to another space with a different noise.
The recording was still going. I have the image of a casette tape recorder, when the rolling of the two white circles are visible when recording is going, rolling the thin roll of tape inside of the machine. Me looking at the bird, for a while. This attention forms a relationality, all rolled and compressed in the tape. Conserved and archived as a memory. Life is the finite resource of time, and paying attention to this bul-bul was committing one minute and ten seconds of my time, because this act of recording takes time and constant attention. And the bird, as well as myself who was watching/recording the bird, will be brought back to a renewed life in playbacks, creating new ripples. You never know what will happen when you press “record”, and when the sound is played back, everything already happened. I am fascinated by this playful misplace and the mystery of destiny.

(sorry, the bird is not in the picture)
(sorry, this post is not accompanied with a recording, as the recorder was collected by the organizer by the end of the workshop)
