Raffle: Rare Chthonic Devotional Beads (CLOSED)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This raffle is for a handmade set of unique Devotional Beads made with rare chthonic materials.
It was constructed using beads carved from 19th century tombstone marble, jet beads from a 1920's mourning necklace, counter-beads made from human corpse teeth, a cave-found hagstone focal pendant, and a Victorian coffin nail end-piece. The resultant implement was then consecrated within the bounds of a Graveyard.
While the retail price for this item is $275, I am taking the risk of setting up this raffle, in hopes that it might aid me in raising enough money to help us afford palliative care for our terminally ill dogs—particularly when it comes to funding an operation needed by the sicker of the two.
Tickets are $5 a piece, and each assigned a number. To purchase a ticket, simply use the link below and follow the provided instructions. You will be asked to make an account and fill in your payment details, which will allow the raffle to email you your entry information, as well as automatically notifying the winner when the time comes. Participants are more than welcome to deactivate their accounts following the raffle. A random number generator will be used after one week's time in order to determine which ticket number is the winner.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone and everyone who takes part! Please feel free to let me know if you come up against any issues! And as an aside—even if you don't end up entering the raffle, I'm sure that sharing it would still be helpful. :~)

Not a great photo, but I created my very own witch's rosary! I am absolutely in love with it. I used a jewelry elastic so it would be easier for me to use. And that way it has some extra give to it in case it gets caught on something. I have also written my own prayers to go with it as well. I made this to help me have a deeper connection with the deities I work with. Just love it so much.

alternative Hail Mary prayers
alternative prayers to pray on the rosary beads
Hail Lady of Roses, blessed be your many names. Shelter us beneath your starry mantle, O Mother of the world, and open our hearts. Queen of the cosmos, portal of life and death, guide us throughout the cycle of our being. Amen.
Hail Mary, Lady of deep soil, all life is within you. Blessed be your fruitful bounty, and blessed be our ancestral dead underfoot. Black Madonna, Mother of the earth, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Hail Guadalupe, maize mother, the serpent is with thee. Blessed is your starry mantle, and blessed is the moon beneath your feet. Lady of roses, radiant as the sun, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Black Madonna, earth mother, alchemize our sorrows. Root us in deep ancestral soil, that we may know the eternal source of peace within us.
Hail Sophia, source of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are your many names, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Wisdom. Holy Spirit, Mother and God, be with us, your children, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Oh Queen of Heaven, Star of the Sea, Gate of Dawn, we fly to thee. Moon-bright Mother, Mystical Rose, stay with us now and at life's close.

The Rosary in My Practice🥀
Tumblr media
October being the month of the holy rosary, I’ve decided to write about how I utilize rosaries in my practice day-to-day! This is from my perspective as a folk practitioner who works with/prays to Mary & the saints and includes many catholic elements in what I do.
• I tend to use different rosaries for different purposes, as rosaries are not only a devotional practice in their own right, but also a lovely magical tool. However, in using a rosary to connect with Mary, I want to stress again that it’s completely fine to rewrite and reword prayers or leave one out(like the creed). Of course the traditional prayers do have a power to them BUT if it doesn’t feel comfortable for you to say all together, then you can change it. Saying a prayer is like reciting a spell.
• Rosaries and rosary style prayer has become very important in my ritual, spellwork, and devotional work. Not just in connecting with Mary, but with my ancestors and saints! My ancestral altar includes a for my catholic ancestors that I’ll use to pray for them as an offering, and to deepen my connection and dedication to them (you do not have to include catholic elements in ancestor work and you can say no to catholic and christian ancestors!!!). I made my ancestors rosary myself and it resembles more of a Fraiskette, including medals for saints important in German and French folk religion + to my family.
• I keep a Joan of Arc rosary close by to use and pray when petitioning Joan, and to find comfort in, as she’s a saint I love dearly and have built up a strong connection with. On my main working altar I have a rosary to use when calling in a saint/Mary to do tarot readings with, ask for assistance in spellwork or celebrating feast days important in my practice. The separate space I have for the archangels includes a St Michael chaplet I made and a rosary, again being something I’ll pray as an offering, or to deepen my relationship with them and petition them!
• My rosaries are also very personalized, and I encourage yall to add to your prayer beads or try your hand at making some yourself, give it personal touches that make it more meaningful to you! I typically don’t pray the rosary traditionally, and will pray my own Marian prayers that feel appropriate based on what I’m asking Mary for, or which epithet of her I’m connecting with and feeling called to. Personally, rosaries for me are very comforting and I often pray them completely Mary focused with an Our Mother prayer instead of Our Father, as Mary is a big part of my life and I go to her all the time. My rosaries are often worn as well.
Rosary style prayer and beads are something I use in connection with other deities as well. My Diana beads I made are prayed like and resemble a rosary, used during rituals or spells that include her, and have a set of prayers I wrote.
Tumblr media
• The rosary is a wonderful devotional and magical tool! There’s many different ways they can be incorporated in your practice and magic. From going by use of and associations with bead materials and color magic, to having a string of magical and personal charms to keep with you, rosaries have a lot of room for creativity and adaptation. The rosary doesn’t have to be prayed in full all at once either, and can be as simple or deep as you would like it to be. Write your own mysteries to think on in prayer, Marian or pagan, add your own charms and centers you like, anoint or bless your rosaries in the names of a goddesses you worship who are syncretized with Mary, make your form of rosary use personal. Most importantly, do what fits your needs and practice, and makes you happy!!

The symbol of the essence of creation, often expressed in the simple form of the vesica piscis. According to Christian legend God incarnate himself, like each of us, was born to die. And not of some vapor, not descended from the heavens fully formed, but of the flesh and blood of a human body as a helpless baby, an animal among other animals, apes that we are. There is magic in the mundane. There is a sanctity beyond the golden halls of the great papacy that cannot be tainted by the water, swear, blood, and shit of impoverished birth in the mud and straw of the barn. That which is deemed filthy is where the holy persists the most gloriously.

Jesus to me is like a really cool older brother. We have the same Mom, he would do anything (including die) for me, and he wants to see me grow in a way that matters. He's proud of me and he loves me, but he's not afraid to lecture me if I need it. He's gentle and angry at the same time, all the time. But like every sibling dynamic, we're not the best at keeping in contact 💀

The Elemental Rosarium
Tumblr media
Chanelling and embodying the powers of the four Cardinal Elements, the Elemental Rosarium is a collection of ensouled devotional beads that represent a conclave of reified occult knowledge and an assembly of incarnated natural forces.
Each of the four rosaries offered herein is uniquely constructed with highly potent materials, utilizing meaningful and powerful cultic symbolism based on a mixture of traditional folklore and personal inspiration. Every set of beads serves as a Venerative Idol dedicated to one of the four cardinal elements, and every piece was, likewise, empowered by the very Genius of its given element under highly specialized ritual specifications.
All products measure approximately 19.5 inches / 49.5 centimeters long, and they include:
The Rosary of Holy Flame:
This set of hand-cafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Noontide, wherein the rosary was passed through the holy flames of Candle, Hearth, and Balefire. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of flame, including Lava Stone beads, Red Obsidian counter beads, and Carnelian bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Fire and a Flint stone—oldest among the human tools of ignition.
Whether drawing down the Fires of Heaven, calling up the Fires of Earth, or stoking the very Cunning Fire, these beads will serve as a faithful implement in the hands of one who venerates the flames.
The Rosary of Sacred Winds:
This set of hand-cafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Windswept Peak, wherein the rosary was suffused with the sacred winds of Breath, Bellows, and Breeze. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of air, including Czech Glasswork beads filled with air bubbles, scavenged Raven Bone counter beads, and Howlite bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Air and a Dandelion Seed—humble traveler of the wind—which was encapsulated in resin, before I outfitted it with silver wire.
Whether observing augury, calling up the wind, or working with divinities of the weather and sky, these beads will serve as a faithful implement in the hands of one who venerates the air.
The Rosary of Blessed Waters:
This set of handcrafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Rain, wherein the rosary was lustrated with the blessed waters of Spring, River, and Sea. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of water, including fluvial Shell Pearl beads, Salmon Bone counter beads, and Aquatine Calcite bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Water, and a Seahshell—naturally punctured over untold years by force of the ocean current. These particular components represent a multiplicity of water sources invoked, with the shell pearl coming from rivers, the seashell coming from the ocean, and the Salmon being a fish that traverses between those two realms.
Whether calling on the virtues of hallowed water, entreating the spirits ot local waterways, or working with oceanic divinities, these beads will serve as a faithful implement in the hands of one who venerates the waters.
The Rosary of Hallowed Earth:
This set of hand-cafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Cave Covering, wherein the rosary was dusted with hallowed earth gathered from Mountain, Burrow, and Crossroads. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of earth, including Granite beads, Lodestone counter beads, and Marble bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Earth and a simple Clay Talisman—shaped from the living earth and worked by hands that will one day return to that very same ground.
Whether calling on the virtues of stones, communing with telluric spirits, or working with earthen mediums like soil and ceramics, these beads will serve as a faithful implement in the hands of one who venerates the terrain.

Helloo, i'm still alive, I was just really not in the mood to post recently. Here are some pictures from today and last week.
The exam period is over, and my next semester starts tomorrow. I feel like I'm at a changing point in my life. Actually, my boyfriend breaking up with me might have been good for both of us in the end? Idk, I'm still confused, and we also still talk a lot. But yeah, so I realised that I experience chronic stress that is pretty much independent of what is happening in my life and probably a leftover symptom of my PTSD. So I sign up for the gym (even though I haven't gone very much yet, but i'm working on it), and I'll go back to therapy. My first appointment is this week. I also bought a Bible..? Like for private use, not because of my religious studies degree. I didn't see this coming haha. I don't know yet where this is gonna lead, but I just really wanna read it and I have been ignoring the urge to explore Christianity, cause I kind of don't want to be interested in it. But finally I accepted that I actually am interested and started reading it on Friday. It has been great so far!
Tumblr media
It's a bible for Gen Z teenagers or something. It gives you video links for further explanations about some chapters and lots of questions to think about for people who have never read the bible. It's a bit tooo modern for me, but oh well.
I don't know yet how this will fit into my spiritual path or if I'll be going into a different direction altogether. I haven't really been practising witchcraft for a while, cause my rational mind just tells me it doesn't work it's not like my experiences really show that it does either, at least not recently. I have been leaning more towards prayer and trying to trust that things will go the way they are meant to. I feel like me reading the bible was kind of inevitable in a way cause I have been praying to La Santa Muerte on and off for years. I pray the rosary for her and I've been interested in the Sacred Heart of Jesus for some years as well. I feel like strict Christians aren't gonna like it haha, cause La Santa Muerte is demonic to them, but I feel like in a way it's her who is pushing me into this direction. So I'm excited to see how this continues :)
