The Elemental Rosarium

Chanelling and embodying the powers of the four Cardinal Elements, the Elemental Rosarium is a collection of ensouled devotional beads that represent a conclave of reified occult knowledge and an assembly of incarnated natural forces.

Each of the four rosaries offered herein is uniquely constructed with highly potent materials, utilizing meaningful and powerful cultic symbolism based on a mixture of traditional folklore and personal inspiration. Every set of beads serves as a Venerative Idol dedicated to one of the four cardinal elements, and every piece was, likewise, empowered by the very Genius of its given element under highly specialized ritual specifications.

The Rosary of Holy Flame:

This set of hand-cafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Noontide, wherein the rosary was passed through the holy flames of Candle, Hearth, and Balefire. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of flame, including Lava Stone beads, Red Obsidian counter beads, and Carnelian bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Fire and a Flint stone—oldest among the human tools of ignition.

Whether drawing down the Fires of Heaven, calling up the Fires of Earth, or stoking the very Cunning Fire, these beads will serve as a faithful implement in the hands of one who venerates the flames.

The Rosary of Sacred Winds:

This set of hand-cafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Windswept Peak, wherein the rosary was suffused with the sacred winds of Breath, Bellows, and Breeze. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of air, including Czech Glasswork beads filled with air bubbles, scavenged Raven Bone counter beads, and Howlite bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Air and a Dandelion Seed—humble traveler of the wind—which was encapsulated in resin, before I outfitted it with silver wire.

Whether observing augury, calling up the wind, or working with divinities of the weather and sky, these beads will serve as a faithful implement in the hands of one who venerates the air.

The Rosary of Blessed Waters:

This set of handcrafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Rain, wherein the rosary was lustrated with the blessed waters of Spring, River, and Sea. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of water, including fluvial Shell Pearl beads, Salmon Bone counter beads, and Aquatine Calcite bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Water, and a Seahshell—naturally punctured over untold years by force of the ocean current. These particular components represent a multiplicity of water sources invoked, with the shell pearl coming from rivers, the seashell coming from the ocean, and the Salmon being a fish that traverses between those two realms.

Whether calling on the virtues of hallowed water, entreating the spirits ot local waterways, or working with oceanic divinities, these beads will serve as a faithful implement in the hands of one who venerates the waters.

The Rosary of Hallowed Earth:

This set of hand-cafted devotional beads was constructed under the auspices of Cave Covering, wherein the rosary was dusted with hallowed earth gathered from Mountain, Burrow, and Crossroads. It was made with materials that are individually and synergistically linked to the spirit of earth, including Granite beads, Lodestone counter beads, and Marble bracket beads. The endpiece pendants are a stainless steel rendering of the Alchemical Symbol for Earth and a simple Clay Talisman—shaped from the living earth and worked by hands that will one day return to that very same ground.

This is my first time making prayer beads... I made these for my close friend that works with Seth. I hope they will enjoy these! I tried to work with colors that are associated with Seth such as black, red, sandy hues and gold... The "crown bead" is handmade and painted by me :)

I can't wait to make some for myself as well!!

I had a very religious moment

I have this incense that’s for Hades and Persephone and I used some and I felt a heavy pull towards Hades and then the incense started like smoking and nearly on fire, more so than it’s ever been to the point the room was filled with smoke and somehow the fire alarm didn’t go off.

I had nature sounds playing in the back cause it felt right, and I was holding my beads (which were a yule gift from my amazing girlfriend Rak) and saying a prayer and then suddenly I felt super warm like I was being hugged and in the middle as I was speaking I had chills and I just started crying.

And I just knew, my grandpa died last year, and I just knew he’s ok. It wasn’t even heavy crying, it was relaxing and felt good and I felt loved and warmth and I said thank you and then the smoke completely cleared somehow.

I think he’s been trying to tell me this for awhile but I’ve pushed down my grief so hard. And I’ve had some really bad mental health recently and tonight I actually feel really happy.

Also here are the prayer beads!

They make the prettiest sounds and I love them so much!!!

Paper Bead Magic

So a week or so ago I got the idea of making paper beads and hiding sigils inside them. I figured I could combine sigil and knot magic to accomplish various things.

Listen, I'm not a photographer, and I'm using a free phone that came with a prepaid plan, which really doesn't help.

It's easy enough to find tutorials online for paper beads, so I'm not going to make one, though I will put some tips I figured out under the cut at the end. I thought I'd mostly talk a bit about how you might use them.

This craft was largely inspired by the various uses of the many different types of prayer beads (I believe this is the umbrella term, but correct me if I'm wrong), but there are plenty of other things you could do with them.

Make them with sigils that correspond to your purpose and string them together with related knot spells, then:

hang the beads around your door(s), or wear them for protection

incorporate them into a pre-bed meditative ritual, then hang them over your bed before you go to sleep to help with lucid dreaming, remembering dreams, spirit communication, etc.

use them for trance work (repetition can be a great way to achieve a trance state)

make devotional jewelry for whatever deities you work with

use them like worry beads, for relaxation or to ease the urge to do addictive behaviors

Things I learned through trial and error:

To get nice round beads I found that I needed pretty thick paper (I ended up painting bristol board with watercolors and metallic paint)

If you do use something as thick as bristol board, you will end up with white edges showing (assuming the paper is white), so consider painting them if that bothers you

Tutorials I read suggested sealing them with mod podge or similar glue. I ended up using glazing medium for extra shine, and because I already had some

This took much, MUCH longer than estimated in the tutorials -- be patient!

Cernunnos Devotional Beads (SOLD)

This set of unique devotional beads was ritually crafted and consecrated in the name of Cernunnos—Horned God of Celtic antiquity.

It was constructed from beads of Moss Agate (a stone strongly associated with the Wilderness), along with counter beads of scavenged Serpent Vertebrae (serpents being a greatly sacred animal to Cernunnos), which are bracketed with small beads of Jasperized Wood (beautifully embodying an amalgam of botanical and chthonic virtues.) On one end of the garland is secured an Arrowhead Pendant, hand-carved from Stag Antler (a potent token of his roles as Horned Lord and Master of the Wild Hunt). On the other end is secured a hand-forged Steel Pendant (chosen for the magical potency of/ancient reverence for Iron, as well as the piece's resemblance to both a coiled serpent and the coiled germ of a seedling preparing to sprout.) Once the Garland was constructed, the piece was hallowed in a sylvan ritual beneath the light of a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse.
