TODAY’S TOP HEADLINE: bts’ rm, jimin, taehyung and jungkook set to enlist in the coming weeks! ㅤㅤㅤㅤ   ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ   ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ   ㅤㅤautumn 2023
the confrontation   when it rained, it poured and you felt like you haven't seen even a glimpse of the sun in ages. there was a nagging feeling in your gut that it was too far gone, but like everything else for the past ten years, you swallowed it down and swept it under the rug. bad feelings didn’t exist in your relationship. that was the unspoken rule. yet, it was growing more and more difficult to mask the disappointment in your eyes or the frown fighting your lips. today marked the worst of your attempts.
seoul was unusually calm tonight and it scared you. when you moved to the city ages ago to begin your journey as an idol trainee, it was nothing but intimidating for your meek, pre-teen self. eventually, over time, your love for the city bloomed and it was truthfully because of jungkook. once young teenagers that arrived to seoul alone, you found solace in each other and embraced the change as one. he made you fall in love with seoul the same way he made you fall in love with him. dates, nightclubs, late night adventures, and years worth of moments within the city limits.
however, the streets were as hushed as you were, as you gripped your steering wheel like a robot.
the decision had been long made and you knew it was going to come around at some point, so there was no use in fighting it. after going without seeing your boyfriend for months, it should have been nothing but pure excitement.
“you’re awfully quiet,” murmured jungkook, glancing over at you from the passenger seat.
you were already annoyed to begin with, when he mentioned that he was going to have a driver pick him up from the airport, instead of asking for you. it felt like he didn’t even expect to have you waiting for him, considering the two of you had been apart due to his time working in the united states. you thought he’d be insisting for you to be the first person he saw once he came back. these frustrations were on top of several other things, which you’d been dreading to confront for even longer of a time.
and then, there was also the velvet box you spotted in the background of one of your facetime calls. you didn’t bring it up, but it was living in your mind everyday since. with jungkook’s big day fast approaching, there were a lot of conflicting ideas in your head.
you shrugged. “i’ve been filming long hours. not getting that much sleep.”
the look jungkook gave you read that he knew that you weren’t being a hundred percent honest, but he didn’t say anything. his eyes returned to being fixated on his phone.
after over ten years of knowing each other, you and jungkook could see through each other like glass. the only problem was that nobody ever wanted to speak up. you feared the glaring possibility of other buried conflict dating further back into the relationship because of this dynamic.
you didn’t think you deserved the blame for the tension in the air. there were several things in your mind, but jungkook wasn’t exactly a person who could easily mask their emotions. something was off with him, too, and you needed to figure out what it was. you could only hope for the best case scenario because otherwise, it was going to be your worst nightmare. there was no situation you could fathom where his behaviour was a result of an in between.
keeping your voice casual, you asked, “who are you texting?”
  “my mom.”
you held back a sigh - jungkook was never particularly keen on involving you with his family. though you’d been together since he was sixteen, you always felt like he kept you an arm’s reach away from that part of your life and you never understood why.
“oh. tell her i say hi,” you said and he hummed in response.
whilst you weren’t in a talkative mood, it wasn’t like jungkook was doing anything to keep the conversation flowing either. you guys obviously texted and called during his time away, but the present atmosphere was awkward, like there was nothing to talk about after his grand return. you hugged and kissed at the airport, asked how his flight was, and that was that. driving him felt like a business endeavour, rather than welcoming your long-term partner back to the country.
after a few minutes, jungkook finally looked up from his phone. upon peering out the window, he grew confused and turned to you.
he questioned, “where are we going? the apartment is in the other direction.”
“just wait,” you assured, forcing a small smile. “take off your hoodie and put on what i have for you in the backseat.”
there was a shopping bag sitting behind jungkook’s seat and he reluctantly reached over, revealing a silk ysl shirt that you picked up that very afternoon. sighing, he did as you asked and made the change. you didn’t care to look over at your boyfriend’s shirtless body, too irritated at the curtness of the conversation.
you just wanted to get to the destination, the heavy silence becoming too much for you. there wasn’t even music on. you found yourself focusing too much on it, as you finally pulled up to the infamous hotel azure. somehow tucked away in the busy songpa district, it is unassuming to the civilian eye, but a well-known name amongst the circles of south korea’s entertainment industry. you didn’t “make it” in entertainment until you attended a party at hotel azure.
jungkook shifted in his seat. “what is this?” his tone was demanding, which immediately put you off. “the plan was to go home.”
to be fair, the last time that the two of you were at the azure hotel, jungkook wound up with a bloody nose after getting into it with an not-to-be-named yg idol at one of jackson wang’s wild parties. you weren’t even sure what happened yourself, bleary eyed for the majority of the night with several substances in your body. hotel azure was for idols at the top of the world with everything to lose, a favourite place of yours around 2018. it was now a place that you actively tried to avoid, but made an exception for the special occasion.
“calm down,” you shot back, not letting him get away with the voice he used. “just wait, i said.”
“i’m tired, y/n,” jungkook pleaded, as you stopped the car for the valet to take.
you ignored him - it wasn’t like it was up to you - and unbuckled your seatbelt, not waiting a second for jungkook.
not only did you pick up your boyfriend from the airport, you also spent hours meticulously preparing your appearance for the night. it didn’t seem like jungkook noticed, other than at the airport, when he questioned why you were wearing high heels.
you never wore heels unless you were working, but that changed when you met jungkook. he loved it when you wore heels and by the time your respective trainee debts were paid, made it a point. you bought platforms with the anticipation of how your boyfriend would go crazy over them. jungkook gifted you designer jimmy choos and pradas whenever you guys got into a fight. it made you feel your prettiest and he showered you with compliments every time.
now, he looked at you oddly for it, like you were doing too much.
jungkook eventually gave up and followed you in without a word, watching you take off your trench coat to reveal a stunning baby pink two-piece dress. the colour glittered under the low lighting of the hotel lobby and the corset accentuated your curves in all the right aways. except, he still did not say a word. this made you frown.
you handed off your coat to an employee and jungkook did the same. the lobby was empty, but you and jungkook knew exactly where to go, making a beeline for the elevator and pressing the button to move up to the penthouse suite.
“why didn’t you warn me about this?” he grumbled under his breath, adjusting his shirt in the mirror.
because that’s how surprise parties work, you wanted to reply. unfortunately, this was not a surprise party that you wanted to celebrate, so you didn’t even try to keep jungkook excited. you were both quiet, irritable, and only wanted to go home.
you said, “this is the part where i cover your eyes and lead you out.”
jungkook complied and you placed your perfectly manicured hands over his line of vision. other than sharing a hug and kiss earlier, this was the closest you’d physically gotten to your boyfriend in months. your hands were cold and you were close enough that he could hear your breathing - all too uncomfortable.
the elevator dinged and you nudged jungkook to step forward. the penthouse’s lights were off, but you could make out the shuffling of feet from behind the kitchen counter. it looked like everything was set up and pristine. then, in just a beat, the entire room lit up and you removed your hands from jungkook’s eyes.
  “SURPRISE!”
the floor rumbled, voices roaring and bodies popping out from different places - behind pillars, couches and the bar. jungkook’s eyes brightened in a way that you had yet to see since reuniting with him earlier and it made your heart sink. you hadn’t realized how dull his demeanour was around you until something else actually made him smile.
his closest friends and family gathered in the penthouse and there was a large, golden banner that hung from the walls that said “welcome back jungkook!” the other wall was decorated with another banner, but this one said “good luck rm, v, jimin and jungkook!”
jungkook’s older brother was the first one that enveloped him into a bear hug, nearly squeezing the life out of him, then his mom. this was followed by the remainder of his band mates that managed to make the party. you awkwardly stood off to the side, a wide smile plastered on your face to mask your despondence. it seemed like jungkook’s exhaustion only existed when he was sitting in a car with you, as his laughter echoed throughout the room.
you caught jungkook’s eye and he already knew how you were feeling. while he exchanged words with other friends, it was namjoon who pulled you to the side.
“hey. you guys did a really great job with the party,” you started, looking around.
the penthouse of the azure hotel was a thing of beauty, with ceiling high windows that looked over the lights of seoul. everything shone and glimmered - the city skyline, the perfect marble floors, the expensive liquor bottles, and hell, even the perfect teeth of the myriad of a-list south korean celebrities gracing this exclusive party. there wasn’t a wrong way to ever throw a party there, but the group made an extra effort to make jungkook’s homecoming a special one.
jungkook was swarmed by several people, all asking about his time in america and how exciting it was. those were the words you used to describe it for him, too, when you sent him off months ago. you watched him take shots with mingyu and eunwoo.
namjoon shook his head, “no, no. this wouldn’t be possible without you,” he said and then glanced at jungkook, “and i’m sure he knows it, too.”
the boys, despite it also serving as a goodbye party before their enlistments, had been helping you plan the surprise for weeks leading up to jungkook’s arrival. it was one of the longest times jungkook had been apart from them and from the country in general, so they wanted to make it extra special. though you were the main mastermind behind the gathering, you initially didn’t want to do it at all.
“yeah, i hope so,” you replied, as you poured yourself a glass of white wine. “you guys all deserve it.”
over the years, jungkook’s band mates slowly became some of your friends, as well. it was somber goodbye for you in all kinds of ways. everyone was preparing to send them off with good luck and high spirits.
the boys were also preparing in their own way. you noticed that taehyung and jimin’s girlfriends were missing from the party, which only confirmed your speculations.
“it was just bound to happen,” said a voice.
it was taehyung who joined you and namjoon in a quiet circle at the corner of the living room. all of the boys looked a little bit sad, despite the celebratory atmosphere, but you read a different kind of story in taehyung’s eyes.
he smiled with a hint of gloom. “you’re looking around for her, right?”
as a fellow idol and also a girlfriend to a member of one of the biggest groups in the world, taehyung’s girlfriend grew to become one of your close confidants in the past few years. you guys were polite before, but this connection created a specific bond that couldn’t be understood by anyone else. however, you hadn’t heard from her in a few days and with her absence at taehyung’s goodbye party, you put two and two together.
to his side, namjoon clapped a hand on his friend’s back. “sorry, man.”
“i hope it was cordial,” you mustered up, ignoring the growing heaviness at the pit of your stomach. you could only hope you weren’t next.
taehyung replied. “she understood, but she wasn’t happy. regardless,” he sighed, “we’re still so young. her career is just blowing up even more, i feel like i’d only be holding her back.”
that was the way it went. when enlistment rolled around for most couples, it was either breaking up or a ring. you looked at your feet, not knowing what to say.
“jimin also told me that he broke things off with - “
a loud yelp squeaked from taehyung, who was abruptly jabbed in the side with namjoon’s elbow. the latter cleared his throat and you recognized that look. namjoon only made that face when he pulled the leader card and needed to put someone in their place. you figured that your worries were transparent to those around you.
namjoon cleared his throat. “not in a chatty mood?”
while you greeted people during the set-up of the party, you realized that you had yet to actually try socializing. things were awkward with jungkook’s parents, who you long suspected didn’t approve of you for various reasons. in general, most people were interested in chatting with the boys, which you didn’t mind. it was a gathering to send them off, after all.
“not really. you guys should go mingle with your friends,” you said, taking another sip of your wine. “it’s your party.”
“i hope i’m not overstepping, but did you and jungkook get in a fight?” taehyung asked.
you blinked slowly. “no. does it seem like it?”
“just seems like he’s nervous about something,” he commented and you noticed namjoon glare at him once more, as if to shut up.
for the first time that night, you felt a glimmer of mixed feelings that left you wondering. why would he be nervous? the big visual forming in your mind was a diamond ring. you and jungkook had contemplated marriage in the past year, but it was also the source of many arguments. you weren’t even sure you wanted to get married now, but your mother had been getting into your ear about you getting older. then, there were your respective companies who lost their shit at the idea. but, what really mattered, was jungkook’s opinion. he seemed to wave it off or change the topic at every opportunity, so your hopes for a ring lived in the back of your mind.
despite this, taehyung was right. jungkook looked nervous. he’d been irritated at being dragged to his surprise party - you wondered if it was delusional enough to believe that he had plans for the two of you, instead.
for the rest of the night, you continued to keep to yourself. you weren’t lying when you told jungkook you were tired, but you were determined to stay as long as you could and pretend that you and jungkook weren’t stealing mysterious glances at each other for the entire evening. it was obvious and only made you anxious.
a few hours later and the party only grew in numbers and in noise. you thought you lost him in the crowd, until you left to refill your nth drink and found him talking to his cousin.
the two were smiling and laughing, as his cousin appeared to be showing jungkook pictures on his phone. you assumed it was her newborn daughter - she gave birth just two months before her fiance was to be discharged and now that he was back, the wedding was just around the corner. you remembered jungkook telling you that she was proposed to on the day of his enlistment.
jungkook caught your eye and he immediately looked away - what the hell was that? he even turned slightly and you couldn’t read his lips. something was going on. you watched him shove his hands in his pockets and you swore you saw the shape of a small square inside.
eventually, you grew tired of the tension in the air and the music began to make your head pound. the longer you thought about your partner, the greater your anxieties grew. there was a chance you even just although it was late in the year and a fresh sheet of snow adorned the streets of seoul, you decided it was best to step out into the balcony to take some time to breathe.
nobody else was there, thankfully, and you let out a shiver when you stepped out. the peppermint air dispelled the haze in your head and in your heart, as taking a deep breath was the greatest relief you felt all night. though your muscles remained tense and you knew you wouldn’t last out in the cold, the balcony was a welcome change.
you weren’t sure how long you were outside when the door creaked open and just by the footsteps alone, you knew who it was.
“your guests will miss you,” you said, not even looking behind you.
at this point, you were hugging yourself to stop shivering. a rustle later and you felt a thick blanket drape over your shoulders, the wool of its make completely enveloping you with much needed warmth. you relaxed your shoulders, but couldn’t look jungkook in the eyes.
  “something’s wrong. tell me.”
jungkook’s wine stained lips were pulled into a frown and although he hid it well when he was chatting away with his friends and family, you could see the exhaustion in his eyes. he sniffled a few times and you knew why, but you decided to bite your tongue. it was his party and he was an adult who could celebrate whatever way he wanted. it was also clear that neither of you had the energy to argue. instead, to his surprise, you raised an arm and gestured for him to come closer.
he sidestepped towards you and although you were shorter, let you wrap some of the blanket around him. his cold arm snaked around your waist and you tensed up again at his touch.
you continued to look out into the skyline. “i was going to say the same for you.”
“i’m really thankful for the party, love,” he ignored your question and pressed a kiss against your temple.
you mumbled under your breath, “it wasn’t easy." this was the first time all night that you were comfortable enough to physically touch jungkook and you suspected alcohol played a role in relieving the tension between you two, but it was always going to be easy to fall right back into routine.
and just like that, you felt a stinging sensation in your eyes. tears welled up and blurred your vision, which only made you turn your head away further from your boyfriend. he caught this immediately, his instincts nothing but natural when it came to you, and pulled you right into his chest.
the sound that came out of your mouth sounded nothing like you. the sob was desperate and helpless. it was akin to a toddler who couldn’t do anything by themselves. your voice cracked with each body-shaking sob and you didn’t have the guts to conceal it. your head was buried into jungkook’s new shirt, ruining it, but he only stroked your hair and wrapped the blanket tighter around the two of you.
“it’s okay. . .” jungkook cooed and for what seemed like the first time in a while, he sounded like himself.
it wasn’t like jungkook had undergone a drastic change from his time in america, but it was a gradual shift that you felt over a longer period of time. you attributed to the fact that you were no longer teenagers and things weren’t going to be the same as it did ten, even five years ago. that was what you told yourself, but you weren’t sure why you still held on to the old jungkook you knew.
in that moment, he sounded like the fifteen year old boy you met in a convenience store again. he sounded like the jungkook who wrote you disgusting love songs that were horrible, but you adored anyway. he sounded like the man who you talked about children and a big house and an annoying dog with.
as you found the bravery to finally pull away from jungkook’s comforting embrace, you looked up and saw that future in his eyes. his features softened, but he looked sad. your heart sank once again.
“you’re not just crying because i’m enlisting, are you?” he finally spoke, just above a whisper. his tone was certain, barely a question - after ten years together, jungkook knew you better than you knew yourself.
you froze. there was nothing else you could do but shut your eyes tight, pretending that this wasn’t really happening.
after a beat, you found your voice. “listen. . .we both know what happens after a man enlists. look at taehyung and jimin. look at your cousin.”
over the years, you and jungkook had gone through hell and back. you thought the worst day of your life was when dispatch leaked the news that you were dating five years ago, but you were able to recover. you thought it was the worst day of your life when your breakup was witnessed by the entire world, but you were able to recover. you even thought the worst day of your life was when word got out that you and jungkook got back together, effectively proving that you were weak and were the type of girl to crawl back to her ex. you recovered then, as well.
at the second part of your sentence, you felt jungkook physically tense up.
“is that why you’ve been acting weird lately?” he replied.
you don’t know where it came from, but something triggered a spark of anger in you. still, with a tear stained face and a runny nose, you opened your eyes and met his. this was not something you would be able to recover from.
you said, “it hasn’t just been lately, jungkook. you know exactly what’s on my mind, we’ve been talking - “
“ - and you know what my answer has been, baby. you know what kind of position i’m in,” he interrupted, breaking apart from your hold and the blanket he brought for you.
he wasn’t wrong. you did know what kind of position he was in. one of the biggest stars in the world and he had everything to lose, especially with the anxieties looming in the air for him and the rest of his group. every one of them were on their toes as soon as their enlistment dates were finalized, fearing their fade from the spotlight. you and the rest of the world knew that it was bullshit, that the bts was going to be forgotten just because they were going into the military for a few years.
marriage would surely ruin that further, right?
you said, “and you know what position i’m in.”
the careless joys of your early twenties had come and gone, which left you at the mercy of your mother’s constant talks about marriage. not just her, but other family members and even some of your friends. after all, you and jungkook had been together for ten years and you were pushing thirty sooner or later.
you also had your own fears in regard to your career. jungkook once laughed when you expressed your worries about the public no longer finding you young and pretty, but it was a real fear. most girl groups didn’t last more than a few years. many of your contemporaries had long said goodbye to their idol persona and went their separate ways from their band for a new life. you were considered a lucky one to remain with your group and maintain relevance, but for how long? was it time for you to finally settle down? you weren’t granted the same longevity as jungkook’s renowned group and you weren’t bitter about it, but nervous.
snowflakes began to fall once again and as one fell on your eyelashes, you noticed jungkook’s jaw clench.
“we’ve talked about this,” he said and you knew your wandering thoughts about a potential proposal were too good to be true.
you began, “look, i know that things are different for people like us. . “ but, things were changing. in recent years, you watched several of your peers get married and have children without losing their spot in the limelight.
“y/n. . .what made you think i changed my mind?” jungkook sighed, pacing back and forth to calm himself down.
  “i just thought. . .”
“i’m sorry, but i wasn’t going to propose before my enlistment.” this time, jungkook’s frustrations melted away and there was genuine sadness in his voice.
he stepped closer to you and put his hands on your waist. you didn’t know what to say. you really had been pretending that his strange behaviour was because of a hope that seemed impossible now.
you took a deep breath. “you never said no. you made it seem like you were considering it.”
that was what silenced jungkook. it was true, there was never an outright refusal from jungkook. he would say things that implied he would talk to his company again or “with time” it would come. he gave you just enough reassurance, but never confirmation.
continuing, you said, “and you even indulged in keeping the fantasy alive with me. you’re sick for talking about honeymoon destinations with me and suggesting songs we could dance to.”
“hey. i’ve said time ands time again that there is no future where you aren’t by my side,” jungkook tried getting you to look at him, but every time he moved, you turned away.
there was no reason for you to make eye contact. you felt like a fool and if you met his eyes, you knew you would just burst into tears again. then, you thought about your conversation earlier with your friends and your vision became wet again.
“were you planning to break up with me before you enlisted?”
“what? no,” he responded, but you weren’t convinced.
you responded, “it was going to be inevitable, wasn’t it? like jimin and taehyung. you were going to be done with me.”
this time, jungkook forced you to look at him by the chin and your shoulders dropped. there was a crease in between his eyebrows that you don’t remember seeing even just a year ago. he looked more tired than he did as a rookie with barely survivable living standards.
“time really goes by, huh?” you murmured, fighting to keep your voice stable.
“we were never going to break up, love,” jungkook maintained.
still, his words didn’t penetrate further than surface level. you were left numb and the chill of winter in seoul had nothing to do with it. you wished that someone would just call jungkook away, but the party inside continued on without him.
“you bought a ring. i saw it when we video called.”
jungkook’s lips parted. you knew it. you knew you weren’t losing your mind. over the last ten years, you made some crazy accusations for all kinds of reasons. this time was different and you saw it on his face.
even after what seemed like forever, jungkook couldn’t find words to say. the longer he waited to speak, the faster your heart began to race.
he rubbed his temples and finally, he spoke. jungkook spoke and you immediately dropped the blanket he brought for you, dashing right back inside. you walked past every single attendee and ignored the few that cried out your name. you didn’t care what it looked like. you just knew you had to get out of there.
jungkook said there was a ring. he began to open his mouth and explain further, especially when he read the horrified expression on your face, but you wanted no part in it. there was no room for you to think about what that meant. you only saw red.
you weren’t sure why you wanted a proposal so badly. you knew you didn’t care that much about what your mother wanted and getting married was no solution to the prospects of a dying career. you were second guessing if your wishes for a wedding were even genuine.
on the other hand, maybe you intended for the wedding to be a solution to a dying relationship.

You Are Mine
Tumblr media
Pairing: Clement Mansell x GN! Reader Genre: Smut Warnings: Jealousy, unprotected sex Rating: +18
Your night out with your jealous boyfriend ends with some naughty consequences😈
"Baby, tonight is ours, you can order whatever you want!" your boyfriend, Clement said waving a wad of money in front of you. Yesterday he made a successful deal and in return he took you first to a restaurant and now to a bar where you can drink to your heart's content. You couldn't wait to get out, because you had been asking Clem for weeks, and besides, he didn't talk about anything else but this business, which you were absolutely not interested in, the main thing was for him to get some money.
This time, you didn't go to Sweety's bar, but to a recently opened one to continue celebrating. You dressed up nicely, Clem brought the usual bad boy style. You walked, because he thought that if he drinks more than he should, he wouldn't wreck his car - which was stolen anyway. As you approached the bar, the music was getting louder and louder. There were quite a few people there, after all, the place was new and many had just come to explore. Clem held your hand the whole time so you wouldn't get lost in the crowd. You went to the bartender and he asked for drinks.
You happily drank, hugged and kissed each other like two teenagers in love and slow danced to the music.
"Hon, I'll be right back, I need to piss." he said and went to the restroom. You stayed where you were, drinking until somehow a guy bumped into you.
"Hey there, how are you?" he asked with a big smile. You could tell he wasn't thirsty.
"Hello! Well, as a matter of fact, I'm here with my boyfriend.” you told him, blushing a little. You didn't like strangers getting too close to you.
"Really?" the guy looked behind your back. "I don't see him anywhere. Don't worry, I just saw you, I liked you and I thought we could have a drink. That's not a crime, right?"
You thought that if you have one drink with him maybe he will fuck off sooner. Besides, if he would be too pushy, Clem would punch him in the face.
"Okay, but it can only be about one drink, nothing else!" you pointed at the guy. He didn't really noticed this and asked for two tequila shots. As soon as you downed the drink, you could smell Clem's scent near you, then felt his arm wrapping around your shoulder. He came back just in time to see you were drinking with a random guy, which he didn't like at all. He was pretty jealous even though he knew you wouldn't cheat on him.
"Oh shit!" the guy looked wide at Clem, he thought you were lying when you told him you didn't come alone."I see you met Y/N. My name is Clement and I'm their boyfriend." he said and mockingly held out his hand to the guy, but the guy didn't return it. You also looked at him with an "I told you" look.
"Ah, you really came with your boyfriend. It was nice chatting with you!" he waved and left. Clem released his arm from your shoulder and looked at you demanding an explanation.
"Who the hell was that? I won't ask what he wanted, because it's obvious."
"I have no idea who it was, but come on, take it easy sweetie! He was just a silly guy with whom I had a shot of tequila and that was it." you patted his chest in reassurance.
"Yeah, I see." Clem said kissing your hand. "You know, the thing is, I'm pretty horny right now...and you're so hot and I can barely think…" he said and bit your neck softly. You were literally melting from the touch of his lips and teeth on your soft skin  and couldn't wait to feel him inside you. "Let's go home!" he said. He paid for your drinks and with his arm around your waist, you went out, where he called a taxi for you, as the drinks had gone to your heads quite a bit.
After a few minutes of trying, he was able to open the apartment door and you were finally able to enter. As soon as you went in, Clem grabbed your arm and led you towards the bedroom with a wide smug grin on his face. You stopped by the bed and he pulled you close, squeezing your waist.
"Do you love me?" he asked with a slight pursed lip.
"What kind of question is that? Of course! Wait..are you asking because of that guy?” you asked him raising an eyebrow.
"Let's just say I wasn't really happy about that." he said and kissed you. "I want you to prove how much you love me." he said seriously, but with lust in his eyes. Most of the alcohol already got out of him, while you were still a little tipsy, but knew what he meant. You knelt before him and undid his belt, freeing his cock. You didn't waste time, you took him in your mouth right away. You tried to do it sensually, even though you wanted him like crazy. You moved your head back and forth, looking up at him and your eyes met. Then, to drive him even wilder, you licked his cock slowly from base to tip.
"Oh my God!" Clem said with his head thrown back. "Baby, stop, because I'm going to cum way to soon!" he said pleadingly and you reluctantly stopped even though you would have loved to keep going.
You stood up and he pulled you close for a passionate kiss, you were tearing each other's clothes off. You quickly climbed on the bed, he followed you. When you were about to turn around, he stopped you.
"No, stay like this! I want to see that sexy ass of yours!” you did as he asked and lifted your butt towards him, holding on to the low backrest of the bed with one hand. Clem started caressing your entrance then inserted a finger inside you making you moan loudly.
"See how good is this for you? No one knows what your body craves better than I do!" he said in a husky voice. He fingered you for a while, then his cock took the place of his finger. As you finally felt him inside you, biting your lips, you squeezed the backrest even more and couldn't wait for him to do you.
Clem moved slowly at first, then sped up, caressing and grabbing your butt with his hands. When the room was filled with your moans, he said:
"Baby, I love fucking you in this position, I love how you obey me!" he said in a deep and sexy voice, then a few minutes later he pulled you up against him so that your back was against his chest.
"You are mine, you belong to me! I won't let anyone else dream of getting you!" he whispered in your ear and kissed your neck, then he carefully returned you to your starting position, but this time you didn't hold on to the backrest, but buried your face in the pillow. He was fucking you so hard that you didn't have the strength to hold on, you just let him take control as your body was longing for a mind-blowing orgasm…
You didn't sleep much at night, because after a few hours you had sex again. And then again, and in the end you spent the whole weekend in bed...

TXT: you're dancing bachata
Y’all remember when taehyun was caught in a club w a girl a few weeks ago? 💀 ok this is what I fully fantasize about if it were me ☝️LMFAOAOAO so uh choose your txt bias and favorite bachata song and just go along with it? (I was listening to “Eres Mía” if u need a song rec 🤡) i'm never writing one of these again HEHDHEJDJEKSKDKD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were sitting at one end of the bar of the new Latin-inspired nightclub in town. Tonight was finally the night you had just enough time and energy to check it out with your girlfriends after a long week of work.
You now found yourself alone because your girlfriends had one by one disappeared into the crowd, dancing the night away with new partners they'd managed to successfully reel in. You weren't upset by it either, they deserved to have fun.
You just weren't sure at this point if you even had the energy to stay any longer, as you'd had your fair share of dancing with a few people here and there, some of them being generous enough to even buy you a couple drinks after.
I think I'm calling it a night. Maybe one last drink won't hurt before I leave. I think I'll settle for a water, though.
You pull out your phone to text your girlfriends that you'd be heading out soon with an Uber. Suddenly, the peripheral sight of someone's silhouette catches your attention, and you find yourself accompanied by a stranger at the bar who more than likely is about to pursue your interest in one way or another.
Of all the empty stools here, this guy decides to sit right next to me. Maybe I'll just go find my friends--
You look up to make eye contact with a rather good-looking boy who looks to be fairly about your age. His hair is dyed a dark black color, his bangs just long enough to partially cover his eyes. He smiled down at you, a perfect row of pretty teeth greeting you warmly. He was wearing a dark long-sleeve turtleneck, just tight enough to outline the pleasant build of his upper body. A silver Cuban chain and a longer thin snake chain hung around his neck and over his chest.
Scratch that. Maybe one more dance won't hurt...
"You're alone tonight?" his voice catches you by surprise. It's a bit huskier than you'd expected, at least.
"I'm with my... girlfriends," you say, looking out into the nightclub crowd but failing to catch a glimpse of any of them.
"Care for a drink?" he asks you when the bartender approaches.
"Just a water for now, thank you."
He winks and requests two waters and a shot of tequila.
The following few minutes consist of you learning two things: one, you learn his name and that he's actually touring as a member of a global pop boygroup called TXT, and two, he's really fucking cute.
You were at this point still tipsy from the number of drinks you'd had earlier, but you were certain enough about one thing: You wouldn't leave this damned club until you at least got to either dance or make out at the bar with him.
A familiar Latin tune starts playing on the floor, and you lazily smile and sing out, "I love this song!"
"Let's go, then," he whispers, motioning his head toward the crowd.
You are about to agree, when suddenly you remember the tequila shot on the table.
Maybe I'll just take a bit of this, first.
You smile as you take the shot, leaving at least half of the shot glass full and holding the rest up to his lips. He places his larger hands over yours and tips his head back, finishing the tiny shot and then leading you out onto the floor.
Your world is becoming a blurrier, careless spiral of fun as you let your body relax and synchronize itself into the familiar rhythm of bachata.
Your new partner is steadily following along your movements, your hips inches away from his as you sway each other back and forth ever so smoothly, his hands gently cupped around your waist. You invite his hands farther down your hips, and he loses no time to outline the perfect curves of your natural body between his fingers. He spins you around once, letting your body curl quickly into his, and you manage to catch a scent of the elegant cologne against his chest.
He was good. The best dance partner you'd had in your life, hands down. As you sang out the familiar lyrics of the chorus, you caught him singing along to a few lines as well here and there. He was into it. He was really into it.
He was really into you.
The way your hips swayed naturally alongside his body, the way you looked with your head tilted slightly as you sang with your eyes closed, the short hem of your dress leading up to the enticing curvature of your love handles, your shoulders, your neck, your slight hip-dips, all of you.
Fuck, he looked down at you, I love it all.
The dancing slowed down to a gentle back and forth sway as you trailed your fingers over his chest and around his neck. He took one of your hands in his and kissed your cuticles lightly, making his way up to the back of your palm. You leaned in and let him kiss your forehead, his light pecks making a trail down the side of your face and into your neck. You in return invited yourself to kiss his cheek and slowly made your way to his lips.
Fuck, you thought as you felt his tender lips against yours.
His lips were soft enough that you almost didn't mind the scent of alcohol. He pushed his kisses firmer against yours, his teeth ever so slightly biting against your bottom lip. You felt his tongue make his way to yours, resulting in a sloppy and drunken mess of kisses and love bites decidedly taking over you both.
He pulled back and began what would soon result in a trail of two hickeys grazing down from your neck to your collarbone. You ran your fingers through his darkened hair, leading his other hand to generously outline the curves of your breasts and down your swaying hips. You could feel his hips gently grazing yours, synced together perfectly with the beat of the song playing overhead. He looked really fucking sexy now that he was adapting so well into the foreign dance, the foreign music, the foreign language.
Fuck, he felt so good against you.
Deciding to pick up the steady dance again after a short intimate moment, you let yourself be spun a few more times as you joyfully sang the lyrics out loud. Every so often he’d catch on to a few Spanish words and phrases from the song to sing alongside of you, though you couldn’t make each other’s voices out under the loud, booming music all around you.
Your smiles grew wider as the night progressed, his eyes never leaving the sight of you, your enjoyment, your dancing, your body. His eyes trailed down your curves and back up to your lips. He had a need for you, to have all of you, and you could see it deep within his eyes.
Three songs later, he leaned close to your ear and asked if you’d let him invite you to his hotel room, to which you eagerly accepted.
You catch a glimpse of your girlfriends who are now sitting at the bar together. You wave in their direction as they excitedly wave back and make "Text us!!" motions towards their cellphones, giggling and gawking at the sight of you walking out hand-in-hand with easily the most gorgeous boy in the vicinity.

It is 1AM and I was faced with a reckoning during my simple Headspace meditation.
Like most things, my experience with writing is/was strongly influenced by my youth. After being rejected for an anthology this week, I casually/chaotically proclaimed "Well, I could always stop writing."
That sentiment always bewilders me because it is so terrifying and so honest. It is simultaneously the worst thing I could do and the thing I've secretly wanted for a long time.
Poetry, spoken word, slams, open mics, performances. At 15 I stumbled into this world on accident and kept tripping and fumbling deeper into the game. It triggered deep anxiety responses in me, it was the bravest thing I could have accidently started to do and kept doing. Performing and competing in spoken word always felt like I was moving faster than my heart and body could understand.
It seems like being a poet chose me long before I started to choose it. And even today, I muse as to if I should keep choosing it. The reckoning that approached me tonight were all of the childish, wrong reasons to keep writing:
At 15, I also realized that everyone should have a niche and mine was decided for me-- even weaponized against me at some points. I suppose that was the most harmful part of "being a poet": it was an identity that I came upon on accident that became my sole definition. Even though to me, it felt too frightening to work to be better than I was, it felt like my poems were never as beautiful or succinct as my teamates, and it felt like I was peer pressured in every way to write a certain way and about certain things. The other problem came to be that people liked me for being a poet, so as a doomed people pleaser, of course it meant I took it up for the long-haul.
I want to be special
I want to be different
I want people to listen when I speak
That last one especially hurts, confronting my inner teenager as she speaks it. What, darling? Is it that you have always felt your voice was radio static in the background? That people's eyes glaze, or dart elsewhere when you have something to say? Were you afraid of their smirks, their side-eyes... Their silence? Did it not cross your mind that you are all of these things you want to be-- even without a microphone and stage name? That people already know to trust the words you speak into a room? That you're important as you are-- no poetics attached?
Apparently not yet. That point, that "truth" has not yet been fully realized, and it makes so much sense now why my relationship with writing has been so marred, inconsistent, and frankly unhealthy. I mean in short-- I was codependent on it to feel anything. And too focused on accolades to equate to my self-worth.
My goal and orientation now is to shift this. Not writing only for what I think people will love, but writing the things I need to say. Not writing to be important, and not even writing because what I have to say is important... But just writing because the desire to express myself is important on its own.
Lastly, I have never been more inspired to write and "take my place as a writer" than after reading James Baldwin and Toni Morrison's reflections. Than after reading Mao and understanding our current culture war, and why being a cultural worker will always be a critical role in any movement for genuine liberation.
So.... Here is where it will all live. My musings, my forgotten writing prompts, my story ideas, quotes from my favorite writers. They will live here. We will speak here.
I realize the oppressive systems we live under gain much by silencing my voice. By me giving this up. I realize that by being so overwhelmed by coming up, selling out, and "making it", I let capitalism suffocate my creativity and imagination and my story.
So in other words... I really can't stop writing. Maybe some day I will. But for now, I cannot. I won't. It is too irresponsible to myself and my wellbeing, and the collective I dedicate my life to.
So yes... Maybe some day. But not today.
Anyways... I'm back.

Whumptober 2022- Linked Keys Edition
Day 17- breaking point (+ art)
"Anything?" Warriors asked.
"No… He's still unresponsive." Legend shook his head sadly as he exited the room.
"What's this make, two weeks? He should have woken up by now or at least showed some sort of sign that his condition is improving."
"I know he should have, but he isn't! He isn't getting any better, and—"
"Legend. Calm down. Getting fired up like this won't help anything."
"...You're right. I'm sorry. I'm just… I'm scared."
"We all are. He is our brother. I'm sure it hurts everyone to see him like this. I just wish we could figure out what exactly poisoned him, so we know how to avoid it in the future."
"If there is a future for him…" Legend grumbled under his breath.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Warriors asked. Legend didn't answer, "Legend. You aren't giving up on him, are you? I would have thought you had more faith in our healer."
"I do, it's just…" Legend bit back a sob, "Not only has he not been getting better, but I think he's actually getting worse, Wars. The… the doctor is saying he might not make it. That was a really strong poison, it wasn't like those mushrooms Wind and Future ate that one time. It had to be deliberate, someone was trying to kill him."
"...And an assassination attempt isn't something a lot of people get out of alive." Warriors nodded in understanding. He himself had witnessed quite a few of those targeting him, Zelda, Impa, and even Mask a few times, "Still, we can't lose hope. There is still a chance. We've all beaten the odds multiple times throughout our adventures. We need to trust that Hyrule can pull through this."
The two spoke quietly so as to not be overheard by one of the younger heroes in the adjacent room or cause needless panic among any of the others. Unfortunately Wild, on his way to check on Hyrule himself that evening, had heard the conversation anyway. Might not make it? Strong poison? Assassination attempt?! The words echoed through Wild's mind as the champion stood there in shock, listening in from around the corner. And yet one single thought made it through the dizzying storm of panic that began to swirl inside of him. Hyrule was dying… His friend was DYING.
"Wild? What are you doing up? I thought you would have gone to sleep already." Warriors asked as he and Legend walked past him, suddenly shaking him out of his thoughts.
"Oh. I was just…"
"You okay? You look like something scared you." Legend asked.
"I'm fine. Just, uh, tripped and almost fell. Yep. It startled me." Wild lied, "Actually I was just going to see how Hyrule was doing."
"Well don't let us hold you up. Someone should be keeping an eye on him anyway. Twi could probably use the company too." Warriors said. Legend shot Wild a suspicious look, but seemed to shake it off as he and the captain headed back to their rooms.
"Goodnight." Wild waved to them before hurrying to the room where Hyrule lay, still comatose. Twilight was seated on a stool beside the bed, his gaze pulled upwards from fiddling with his horse whistle necklace when he saw Wild walk in.
"Cub! What're you doing here this late? I thought I had volunteered to watch Hyrule tonight." He asked.
"Couldn't sleep. Figured I'd come check in on him." Wild said quietly, approaching the two. It may have just been the moonlight streaming in through the window, but Hyrule looked super pale. Horribly pale. He could even be mistaken for being dead, with how still he lay, exactly where he had been for the past two weeks, clutching that doll of his. Wild actually had to put a hand to the healer's chest— feeling it rise and fall slightly with every slow, shallow breath, feeling his weak, yet present heartbeat beneath his fingertips— before he could feel calm in the knowledge that Hyrule was in fact still alive.
He's alive, but for how long? A voice in the back of Wild's mind asked. He looked so much worse than he did a few days ago, the last time Wild had stopped by. At least then, he still had some color in his skin. One didn't need to be right next to him to see that he was breathing. He had a mild fever for the first week, sure, but at least that was a sign that his body was trying to fight off the poison. Now he almost felt cold… It didn't take a genius to see that he wasn't doing well, and Wild knew that even if this was one of those cases where it would get worse before it got better, but the question was just how much worse could he get before his body just failed? How much worse could it get before the poison finally killed him? It couldn't be much more than this, Wild thought,
Goddesses, no… He's really dying. He's really going to die! And there isn't anything I can do! My friend is dying and all I can do is watch, just like before!!!
"Cub?" Twilight asked with concern as a sob finally escaped Wild's lips and he sank down to the floor, burying his face in his arms as he curled up in a ball.
"Cub, what's wrong? Talk to me." Twilight appeared at Wild's side, rubbing circles on his back to try and calm him down.
"I can't do this anymore… Not again…!" Wild sobbed.
"Listen to me, Cub. Hyrule is strong. He will be okay. If his body doesn't fight off the poison on its own we'll probably have found a cure already. Everyone is trying to figure this out. Everyone. Understand? He will pull through this, and so will you."
"How can you say that? How do you even know? He's looking worse every day, and I don't… I CAN'T LOSE ANOTHER FRIEND, TWI!!!" Wild wailed, "...I just can't…!" He had managed to keep his composure thus far, albeit barely. But this was too much. Seeing his friend this way, barely even alive anymore while there was still poison coursing through his system, still working at finishing him off… And Wild, being unable to do anything about it. Unable to do anything to save his friend's life… that sent him over the edge. Wild had reached his limit of just how much pain he could take before he broke.
"I know, Cub… I'm sorry. Just wish I could say for sure that he'll be okay." Twilight wrapped his arms around Wild's trembling body, pulling him into a tight hug. Wild leaned into it, letting the warmth of his mentor's embrace wash over him and soothe the emotional turmoil that was still tearing Wild up on the inside. Wolfie was always great at being there for cuddles when Wild was struggling, but he had to admit it was a lot nicer having that same softness and gentleness in someone that could actually hug him back.
It wasn't long before Wild managed to drift off to sleep, still leaning against Twilight with the latter's strong arms still wrapped around him tightly. He now prayed that Hyrule would wake up soon, not just for Hyrule's sake but for Wild's as well. Because Twilight was certain that Wild truly wouldn't be able to take the death of another loved one.

Jessamine Accidentally Writes An Essay About Two Conversations Ze's Totally Normal About
one of my beloved mutuals (@souplover13) is reblogging a lot of queerpunk posts tonight which just reminded me of two conversations i want to document. yes this story involves paul bellini why wouldn't it (fr tho i was considering not making this a post bc i was like oh god do people really want to hear me ramble about these 63-year-old gay dudes again maybe i should give it a rest but whatever it's my blog and if people don't like it why are they even following me this is all we do here)
anyway the story actually begins with a conversation i had with my parents earlier today. now, i'm lucky enough to have parents that are constantly trying their best to be good allys and are always learning to do better. they're not perfect, but they want to learn. while at lunch today my dad took a picture of me and my mom together since i won't be home again for a few months and he affectionately said "my girls." i've been out to my parents as nonbinary for around a year, but i let it slide since my gender wasn't the most important part of that sentiment, more the fact that it was a nice family moment.
a beat later my mom corrects "girl and person," and while i am grateful for her seeing that i'm not a girl, this type of correction always makes me feel more awkward than being misgendered. like, the point of my dad calling me "his girl" was this tone of familial affection, but the word "person" just feels cold and distant, which is something i struggle with in a lot of gender neutral language. but beyond that, it's just this weird separation. i jokingly correct my mom again, saying "hey, we're both people."
the conversation continues and eventually my mom asks if it bothers me when people call me "girl" like that. and the truth is: i don't know. it bothers me a little, but the forced neutrality bothers me more, and honestly i don't really care what gendered language someone uses for me as long as they mean it in a way that shows me they care. like, i'd rather be called girl affectionately than be called "genderqueer nonbinary person with a strained relationship to androgyny who uses ze/zir pronouns and feels represented by the word transfeminine" in a derogatory way. I respond "it's contextual," but that's not a satisfactory answer. the conversation moves on to a nonbinary person who stops by my mom's work often and how my mom's had to correct some of the older employees to stop calling them a girl, since times are changing.
the second conversation is from a few weeks ago when i first visited canada to help with the mouth congress concert and got to have lunch with paul bellini beforehand. at one point the conversation developed into paul asking me what being "nonbinary" means for me personally. it was clear he wasn't intimately familiar with the concept (though to his credit he did have more experience with it than i expected), and some of his assumptions were inaccurate to my experience, but he listened intently as i described my experience not knowing how to specifically label my gender but just knowing i don't want to be seen as a cis woman while also having no desire to be fully male. he related it to his own experience as a gay man with his own complex relationship to masculinity and femininity, acknowledging it's not the exact same, and by the end of our conversation i truly felt like he respected my unique relationship to gender even if there were certain parts he still needed to process.
but most importantly, it was funny. granted our conversation was a unique case since both individuals were queer comedians from different generations, but approaching the strange concept of gender identity with humor made it so much more comfortable. paul described being a little feminine gay kid and thinking "i'm not a boy or a girl, i'm a god" and i responded that's it exactly. i brought up the mouth congress song she-male: master of the universe, saying the vision of a vengeful genderqueer space goddess is the most represented i've felt by a piece of media, only half joking. but also there were times when i made jokes about failing at gender (e.g. referencing a group of "girls" at my high school who made me realize i'm nonbinary since i always felt weird for being the least feminine person when we hung out, and then the fact that several of them came out as transmasc after graduation meaning now they can be better than me at being trans as well) and while paul acknowledged the joke he also assured me i was exactly where i needed to be in terms of my gender presentation, and honestly i'm kind of tearing up just thinking about it.
paul never asked me for my pronouns, but to be fair i did somewhat volunteer them in the form of a joke: "i use any pronouns, but i will silently judge you based on what you do with that information." that line got a laugh.
I told the same line to my parents after our "girl" conversation today, earning only confusion, and it made me realize something: so much of modern trans allyship centers entirely around language, be it pronouns or recognizing the lack of neutrality in our everyday speech. and while these things are certainly important, that's not understanding. cishet allys so often want to be able to say the right thing, so they approach the subject as learning the rules for how to incorporate this new approach to gender into their lexicon. i think there's something to be said for how this parallels how we're often taught about cis gender roles: these are the rules you follow to be a man or woman. when you find out someone doesn't fit neatly into those boxes, it's natural to ask "okay, what are your rules?" this also leads to some cis people (even gay cis people) complaining about how "you can't say anything these days" since it's portrayed as just another set of rules you need to learn.
but honestly, i don't know what my gender rules should be. my approach to gender lately has been the equivalent of "idk dude i just work here," i don't know where i specifically fit in but i do know how i feel inside. the answer "it's contextual" doesn't give you the cheat codes to gendering me correctly, because even i don't know how to gender myself correctly half the time. however, more importantly imo it gives you a window into how it feels to be me, a nonbinary person with complicated relationships to every facet of gender who's decided to stop expecting language to fully represent me but still has to deal with language being applied to me all the time. my nonbinary gender is confusing as hell, and i'm tired of having to pretend it's not as if that's the only way it's worthy of respect. every gender (including cis genders) is confusing as hell, and it's only when we all accept this fact that we can actually make a meaningful connection.
as my parents and i were driving away from the restaurant my only thought was i wonder how my dad would've referred to that photo if it was my brother and my mom in the picture. would he have said "girl and boy?" or "girl and person?" or would he have simply said "family"
#soup i tagged you bc i feel like you'd be interested in this#tbh i didn't plan on this being as long as it is but whatever i clearly needed to process something#tbh i'm kind of rolling my eyes at myself like ''ah great another paul bellini post'' but like#having an older queer comedian mentor actually really means a lot to me and i think i'm allowed to celebrate that#also honestly didn't realize how much the genuinely compassionate response to my high school joke actually meant to me until this moment???#like in the moment i was like ''no that was a joke isn't it funny the same group of people made me feel inadequate in multiple genders''#but now i'm like wait. oh. i've been holding onto that idea that i'm not good enough. insert crying cat meme#also shoutout to another anecdote from that paul conversation:#apparently he has a younger cousin who's a trans girl and he brought scott with him to visit them for christmas this year#and he said ''that cousin and scott ended up having one of those conversations where everyone around them is on edge bc any second someone#could say the wrong thing. it was awesome'' and like unironically i agree???#like yeah having someone say something accidentally transphobic is shitty but one thing i enjoy about scott it he's not a performative ally#if he doesn't get something he will say it. and tbh at this point i've been around enough people who know all the language#but don't really get it or worse think the opposite#that watching someone like that is honestly refreshing

Soul writing from 16.4.24
Why was MP in my dream? An offer you refused. His essence is in the sky. His family is in 3D chambers? Yes. Why are these males approaching me now? You're available, why not? Why was he leaving the theatre with me? We are all leaving this reality together, even if some of us have already left our bodies
Why was AW in my dream? Someone you did not expect to hear from, leaving a message. You asked and someone replied. A confirmation. So a few weeks huh? Yes. It's not a coincidence that MN is going overseas during that time is it? A while ago I had wished for the three of us to be together again for my last days. Is that what's happening? Yes. But they're NPCs, aren't they? She is but he wavers. Then what's the point? The point is it doesn't matter. It's just a picture.
Ok, and the mice? Representation of the body. It is repulsive. Someone else going to ask for my hand tonight? Yes and this time you won't let go. I'm Miss Universe LOL. People remember you and you remember them. Ok, anything else? You can relax even deeper now. Really? Yes, relax even deeper and more will come. Alright.

Give me a couple updates well he's resting and there are people wondering around as usual but really they're not really shopping in the harassing him and they're obvious about it cranky old and disgusting mostly and intercepting him and trying to go somewhere trying to force me to do stuff thank you being poor and getting hardly anything at all and not giving a damn. So we looked at what he's saying and these people are Republicans but very very lame their efforts were very lackluster and they hardly get him anything if at all and the Mexican and they're not controlling the situation and it's abysmal on that note
-you see the empire who actually does work and did a lot of work just running some sort of offensive and they have a large number of troops that they are dropping all over Florida they're doing it surreptitiously and it is a large Force and they shot up to 20% of the population this morning now they're approaching 30% the intend to use these infiltrators to take the state over and hold our son in an innocuous position and other ignorance. And we have to make sure that they are not aligning there's too many of them building up here and they're doing it elsewhere but we are not allowing a large buildup and it's true and he said we should not allow one here and we should be reducing it a little bit bigger is fine but no and now we're going to have to start doing it still threaten and we will take them down
-in addition to that type of behavior we have this general malaise and lackadaisical attitude laziness and thievery from our son who is poor as dirt these people are disgusting as well we are going to evaporate those who are doing that and we're going to stop them from manhandling him and abusing him. Another news
-it seems that Aquaman might be coming up pretty fast and precedes the watchmen and it is about race and it looks like Garth goes ahead and destroys their enclave of what it looks like clones offshore of Atlanta Georgia I really offshore Georgia and they're hiding there and they find them and seek them out for thievery basically and it turns disgusting fairly soon
-another film that is going to affect the current day is Wonka it happens in the UK and he starts to advertise it saying that he's the chocolate here and brochures gets involved and that's the close and it is Paul d us again. And it's threatening her son and we're going to have to stop the idiot and he does nothing and his sister does nothing and it's so droll and gross and the guy is so dumb he doesn't know anything about what he's doing so he's going to try and do that because he wants to take from our son cuz he's a spoil the runt.
-another film affecting this area and the future is Porky's and Porky's revenge apparently they burned down the gambling house and that is the property of Tommy f and he starts getting very angry and attacking more so he's already attacking the pseudo empire and this begins on the more or less at which point everything starts to turn against him again and he's pushed out I know he's playing with the Max and tend to do to our son and us and our forces and we we are knowledgeable about it but this is going to start up rather soon we think this week weekend I think it's going to be tonight until tomorrow and the day after and both movies after that it's going to be Atlanta and it makes sense because Monday is rolling around and the trial is coming up and there's some sort of city that they put there and it's regular buildings and decide to train stay inside them and of course you can't handle the pressure and it won't work but that's what they do.
-several other things are occurring there are about 50,000 people in Charlotte county who don't have work don't have anything to do and leave their jobs for other people and don't hire anyone and it's pretty pitiful. They come down here to the mall and harass them and they have stuff and we need it so we need volunteers to go after these merchants really there's a vicious name for them sicko fants
-nothing happening is probably noticed that he's talking about them putting stuff up there that would devastate them and ruining their day and some of the math very few and we realize that
-a couple of things that are happening we are producing huge companies today and giant numbers of warlock will disappear Giant they're about 12% or so off Island 14 or so and that does include minority but not pseudo empire which is only three or four percent and they're going to dissolve not really these companies are giants and tons of them think they can just take it. Even though they owned it it's ridiculous but it is now making a lot of sense it's the clones of the higher-ups leaving and their kids trying to take it over and that's what Dan is doing and then upset and dangerous to our son and it said too that he's a problem and Trump wants to try and grab us using his son so he gets the game but he's upset about it and we get the game and we're going to destroy them both quite easily and things people think it's a game like the Max and pseudo empire and foreigners not such a good game and there's a lot of companies and Harley-Davidson is one of them we will be at 64% but if things work out better 75% I will begin production today.
-and we intend to kick John remillard out of Blackwell that's the first thing and he knows about it no he wants to make it part of the deal and I guess we'll sign it with that in there and see what happens
-there's other things too going on the hard notch frame and it's hk frame is working. About 50% are adding suspension or redoing it and creating it with suspension and they said we can get away with it we think so that's good it's not real hard to do and it's unexplained it and you did say that you dismantle the shock or you take the springs off and you take the oil out and you work the you work the shock to see if it will push against the frame you have to make sure it doesn't and you can put a stop in and you don't want to bottom the shock out without a stop so you need that but you can run the full range of motion and put the stops in the right place about a half inch before it bottoms out people like the idea and it works it's a rule of thumb type of building but that's what he did when he was younger and you're going to see these come out with shocks and the whole system I'm just going to take a couple more days you'll have their prototypes and boy these frames are real strong one of them has a bike together and rode around testing it others test the frame and it's like twice the snell rating and that was a mega miracle
-a couple more things we are buying some time it's not correct we have work to do we have other companies to announce and pre-purchase and they are purchasing and they want us to and just don't make it very easy and we get part of them done and they complain but it's their falt
-there's other things happening we are in the process of gathering information on the status of ours and we do need to show up a lot of areas and we need a lot of people to sign up for work and we're going to get them going here on Earth and there's tons of them and we're moving out
-the ships have started what people think is their final cycle up north to launch they're sending tons of people up there huge numbers it's going to vanquish a big trunk of the warlock they'll probably send 2% today and more tonight and more tomorrow it's a giant number New Zealand their numbers are visible now as is Australia and they're under attack now The fleets are trying to get here from the morlock and the pseudo empire is fighting them they're both down and other point be more like have 7 billion pseudo empire six billion and a beating the crap out of each other the fighting is intensified and they're losing territory all over Earth and we'll have an announcement at the end of the day but it's going down a percentage in an hour practically other things are happening we are taking a lot of territory over in Florida we've taken about 2.5% more today already and we're talking about starting it to believe 25% and others have taken about 6% so it's below 20% and they're in court no but they had court yesterday and it probably get to 15% today which is abysmal and they have a large fleet prepping to attack that's the warlocks later today it's very huge and this is going to be a lot of troops on board trying to get here using various means and they're going to try and go to other places to get here too nearby it's going to be a huge show. This time around they've been building up for a while and they have probably 200,000 miles wooden ships and it will have an effect and the pseudo empire fleet is going to have to try and defend and they're kind of sucking wind against their fleet we're moving in the foreigners and foreign warlock really foreign warlock comprise probably half the crowd but we are also moving in as our Max and we are forming areas up and sturdy ones and we are going to call for reinforcements and that's what's going on today huge changes are coming up giant changes in the paradigm and it is going to be tumbletous.
-and it's set up that they think that he's following Dave's footsteps and he is to a degree he's also following Trump a little bit and they're talking about his fortune and so forth but they did take it away from David more of the same fashion than Trump you plan to hand it over and to pull it out and leave us with secret of stuff so they can get out the goodies and he is sitting there with nothing so you know it's kind of rude you do intend to get him all sorts of things but he's earned stuff and he really has. There is a pattern it does have to do with westboro they say they ran it already and his first car was not the Firebird no it was the heck of a first car he says that was supposed to go inside with the coach Megan Merkel made but it doesn't the coincides with a coach David had earlier in the history of America and it was his own that he made and that is an indicator that they might start with the Firebird so he did a creamer routine with Ken and that would be somewhere around here but really he doesn't have funding or money to spend his dad had a $700 a month stipend and even that with that it's kind of questionable but he probably wouldn't care but he's spending like $300 $400 a month on gas it's really too much so that being said there's no way to get that without other things happening that's one thing but he thinks it's social security and it's still not enough and they're planning on giving him $4,0 35 and so on and after a year he would have a couple hundred thousand no it would take like a year and a half so we simply don't see how that's going to happen unless he has some sort of thing to do with the vehicle and some sort of money or income not $20 three days a week I didn't cover even any gas to do that so we think it is the firebird and we think it's the 2013 and we think it's to sync the marlock. Did you understand what they're intending on doing for funding it's not unscrupulous that kind of is they want to threaten his social security and we're going to explain it in a moment

Lost Genesis, Part 2: Angeline - 2.
Kane ran down the mountainside as the sun was barely climbing up over the sky.
There was absolutely no way he was going to miss Angeline singing on the seventh day again. He absolutely had to hear her this time.
As he made his way down, he looked over at the church and saw it opening its doors, letting in the first few groups of people.
He kept going and skid down a few of the slopes, then made it to the grass field before running directly for the church. He looked over and saw a car parking in the lot, and out came Angeline and her father. He stopped running and slowed down. He waited a bit for her to get inside first, then hurried over to the church, making it up the few stairs as he was greeted by Father Arkwryght, "Why good early morning, Mr. Valentine. It is so pleasant to see you. Did you manage to wake up early enough to make it down to hear Miss. Aerhardt sing?"
Kane went to step by Arkwryght without a word, and the Father put an arm out, "Now now, don't be so hasty, little one. She won't be singing for at least an hour. Now, please greet me properly."
Kane clenched his hands a bit and stepped back before looking up at Father Arkryght, "Yeah, I got up so I could hear her sing. I didn't come down here to talk to you. Now let me in, I've done plenty for you this week."
Father Arkwryght scowled and put his arm down, "While that is true, you are quite rude, Mr. Valentine. Please though, do enjoy the performance and following sermon as usual…"
Kane hurried inside and found his usual spot, sitting down as he waited patiently.
He'd been waiting all week to hear Angeline sing again for the first time in over two months. Finally, he'd managed to wake up early enough, even if he was going to be exhausted before the sun set tonight.
Descending and ascending that mountain took at least an hour on its own, after all. So waking up early enough was always trouble, especially with how restless his sleep usually was.
Kane glanced over, and saw Angeline being taken aside by a couple nuns to a staircase. His curiosity got the better of him and he got off his seat and hurried over to spy on what was happening.
As he turned the corner of the archway to the stairs, he took a few steps forward and looked up. The stairs were clearly dangerous to ascend, there wasn't a banister or guard rail on any single step whatsoever as it went up. Then, he noticed Angeline's foot hit the corner of a step, and the nuns failed to grab her as she fell.
Kane ran forward without thinking and held his arms out, and after only a few seconds, Angeline fell into his arms.
He dropped to a knee as he caught her, expecting there to be more weight to brace for, but she was rather light.
He felt her skin for a moment, and realized immediately how thin she really was. She wasn't sickly thin, but she clearly lacked any physical strength. Even for a child, she seemed physically weak.
He wondered if his perception was just wrong, he worked tirelessly for the Church physically after all…
…But then Angeline slowly looked over to meet his eyes, and his wonder was replaced with captivation.
There was some silence, and then Angeline quietly said, "Thank you." before Kane carefully set her on her feet, and stood up.
The nuns came down the stairs carefully, one of them apologizing to Angeline profusely for bumping her, the other gave Kane a few bows of thanks for having caught her.
Kane looked at Angeline between the two nuns as they began asking her if she was okay. Then, he glanced over as he heard Father Arkwryght's footsteps approaching rapidly, "What happened over here?"
As the nuns explained, he put a hand to his chest, looking at Angeline, "Oh dear, we're so terribly sorry. That could have ended badly, who caught you? Did Sasha here catch you, or was it Stella?"
Angeline shook her head, then pointed at Kane, "It was him. He caught me as I fell down."
Father Arkwyght looked at Kane, puzzled, if not maybe a hint of annoyed, "Whu- Huh? You caught her, Mr. Valentine? W-we-well, I suppose I need to thank you for doing so! I won't even bother asking why you came over this way."
Kane looked away and started to walk, "…I just happened to wander over because I was bored… That's all."
Father Arkwryght grabbed his arm and pulled him slightly, making Kane wince, "My boy, do you understand what good you've just done? Angeline is the next to become High Priestess, and you've very well just saved her life!"
Kane pulled his arm away from Arkwryght's hand, "Tch… What about it? I would have saved any girl who was falling…"
Father Arkwryght seemed annoyed with him, "Don't you understand? Angeline is-"
Angeline interrupted, "Uh-uhm! Thank you, Mr. Valentine!" she shouted over Arkwryght's voice while giving Kane a bow, "If you hadn't have caught me, I would have hit my head and died… You see, I'm really frail, so… Any amount of a fall could really hurt…"
Kane looked at Angeline and his annoyance with Father Arkwryght vanished, "…Angeline… I… Y-You're welcome. Please be more careful next time." He returned her bow.
Father Arkwryght stared in disbelief at Kane, who had never once ever returned a bow to another person before.
Angeline stood and folded her hands in front of her waist, watching Kane stand back up before their eyes met again.
Kane blushed slightly and looked away, scratching his cheek with a finger, "…I hope this doesn't hurt your ability to sing today. I kind of came to hear it…"
Angeline blushed in return and had to look away as well, giving a gentle shake of her head, "N-No. It won't stop me from singing today… Thank you for coming. I hope you'll enjoy it, Mr. Valentine."
Father Arkwryght gestured to the nuns, who then got Angeline's attention to take her upstairs again.
Kane glanced over and Angeline waved to him, "Bye-bye! I hope we see each other again soon."
Kane waved back as he started walking back to the congregation room, "Bye!"
Father Arkwryght followed Kane into the congregation room after about a minute.
As Kane sat down in his spot, Father Arkwryght came over and sat next to him. Kane's expression dropped to annoyance and he did everything possible to look as far away from him as he could.
Father Arkwryght cleared his throat, "I'm sorry for being so annoyed with you just now. It's just that the current High Priestess is in poor health and-"
Kane, "I thought I already told you I came here to listen to Angeline sing, not talk to you."
Father Arkwryght twitched and tried his hardest to keep his smile up, "W-Well yes, but you should know that the High Priestess simply doesn't have friends. That means when Angeline takes her place, she won't be having friends at all. After all, she is a pure icon for our people. An idol to look upon as an example."
Kane looked at Arkwryght, clearly annoyed with his presence, "So what? Like I said, I only caught her because I happened to be passing by… It was an accident."
Father Arkwryght nodded, "An accident, then. I suppose those kinds of accidents can happen…"
Kane looked up at the stage, "…Why should it matter to me anyways? You'll just tell her the same nonsense you tell everyone else about me…"
Father Arkwryght sighed, "It's not I who spread those rumors about you, little one. It is the ignorant sorrowfuls of our sect. I am deeply regretful of the pain you've been dealt as a result, but there is simply little I can do on the matter."
Kane snapped slightly, "Why? You're the High Priest's right hand man, you could dispel the rumors easily and you just don't." he got up from his seat and stared at Arkwryght, "Instead you just say you 'can't because of some unknown vague and completely non-existent reason!"
Father Arkwryght held a hand up, "I cannot because no one would believe me if I said you were not a monster of some kind. The belief is deeply instilled in the people now. Although it is no longer fear, but is instead simple disgust."
Kane clenched his fists and bit his tongue slightly, "Tch…"
Father Arkwryght smiled again, "Do not worry, Mr. Valentine. Accidents like just now will lead to people seeing you more positively. Despite your sour attitude and veiled insults, I myself have found you less undesirable as a result of saving the young lady."
Kane hesitantly sat back down, "…What does it matter anyways…? If it's that deep like you say, then I don't think there's anything I can do to make people change their minds…"
Arkwryght, "But Angeline can."
Kane looked up and at him, "Huh…?"
Arkwryght, "Angeline is utterly adored by the people, they would listen to anything she said, without question. If she told them you saved her life, you would be revered as a saviour instead of a monster just like that. Of course, there would still be skeptics, but you would find yourself less publicly shamed for existing."
Kane looked over to the stage, "…I… I uh…" he scratched the back of his head, "…I was spying on her a little… That's why I was over there…"
Arkwryght raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Did you find some curiosity in wanting to know where she was going?"
Kane, "A little.. I just kind of started wandering towards her for some reason… Like I was drawn to her."
Arkwryght, "That is understandable. She was merely going up the tower to visit Angelica, the current High Priestess. It is customary for the successor to meet their predecessor before their passing."
Kane, "…Yeah, I guess…"
Arkwryght, "That still doesn't explain though why you decided to catch her. She certainly would have caught herself with magic before she hit the floor. She is a practiced and very talented magician, after all."
Kane shrugged, "…She saved me from some people a few years ago… So I naturally wanted to save her in return. I guess I just wanted to be even with her."
Arkwryght smiled, "That is quite a childish way to view it. I think you saved her simply because you wanted to. No other reason. Just as she saved you from those 'people' because she wanted to. Not all people are truly bad, Kaneryo. Quite few actually are. Many good people still exist in our world."
Kane, "…Hard to believe it when you're the one saying it…"
Arkwryght, "Could you please cease the insults? It truly does hurt my feelings."
Kane, "How does it feel to be emotionally harassed by a pre-teen?"
Arkwryght, "Not very good, I assure you."
Father Arkwryght then stood up, and gave Kane a short bow, "I must be on my way to prepare for today's sermon. Please, enjoy your time here in the Church for as long as you'll stay during the daylight."
After Arkwryght left him alone finally, Kane let out a sigh and looked back to the stage, waiting patiently again for Angeline to come and sing.
People began to file in as minutes past into the hour he had to wait.
After the hour had passed, and the church became full of visitors, Kane looked over to see Angeline stepping up onto the stage along with the performers for instruments, and the first ballad began.
Kane wasn't able to take his eyes off of Angeline as she sang. She was beautiful in a way he couldn't properly describe, even to himself.
Even if he made up words, or resorted to utter nonsense, none of it could articulate just how he felt looking at her.
Simultaneously, he wasn't sure how to admit it to himself. He felt as though he had already fallen in love with her when she saved him at the bridge in the park a few years ago from bullies.
But seeing her like this really sealed his heart for her.
Father Arkwryght from where he stood in the rafters looked down and noticed Kane, and scowled slightly. Hadianteras stood next to his father and glanced at his face, "Is something the matter, Father?"
Father Arkwryght cleared his throat and adjusted his collar, "No. Nothing is the matter, Hadianteras. Please, descend down to the congregation and enjoy the company of our people."
Hadianteras gave his father a quick bow and left to do as instructed.
Father Arkwryght looked back to Kane, "…Perhaps I could use this boy's infatuation to our advantage…"
Kane adjusted in his seat and then stood to lean forward a bit. He got a few looks from his neighboring visitors, but no one bothered to speak to him or try motioning for him to sit back down. He looked starstruck just hearing Angeline sing, her voice was completely captivating. Absolutely and entirely; Like a siren's song.
Angeline from on the stage glanced over and noticed Kane, and she missed a step noticing how he was staring, but managed to recover and make it look intentional as she dropped to her knees and kept going.
Kane covered the scar on his sternum absent-mindedly, thinking again to himself just how beautiful this girl really was.
Kane finally sat back down, and maintained a smile befitting a puppy in love more than anything else.
A few people noticed him smiling, and even the negative air surrounding Kane seemed to vanish as he did.
Kane never smiled for anything. At all, ever. So, to see him smile at all, was like finally seeing a boy instead of an emotionless monster.
A few people began to whisper among themselves during the performance. A new rumor began just then; Maybe Kane wasn't all he was claimed to be.
As the hour of performances passed, Kane got up to leave before Father Arkwryght could come down from the rafters to give the sermon. He hurried out of the Church outside once Angeline had departed the stage, and ran out into the city while carrying a bag over his shoulder.
Unknown to him, Angeline had seem him leave, and her own curiosity got the better of her. She took off after him, sneaking away from her father effortlessly as he was distracted by the beginning of the sermon.
Angeline looked around for a while through the city before she found him, noticing he was stopping by a local clothing store.
Angeline then snuck her way over to the store, trying to avoid him seeing her through the glass windows of the store, and got inside while his back was turned. She watched him around corners of shelves and between racks of clothes as he was looking for things to wear. She noticed the look on his face was something of concern, or maybe even worry.
Kane carefully picked up a black dress shirt and jeans, then went over to the counter to see what he had to do next.
The store clerk looked over, "Oh, hello little one. You must be… Ah, that doesn't matter. Just a quick set of clothes?"
Kane nodded, "Yeah, uhm… I don't understand how to pay, though… I have…" he pulled his bag from around his shoulder and dug through it, pulling out a few crystals, "…These, the Church uses them a lot so I thought they might be worth something."
The store clerk put a hand to his chin and rocked his head to the side, "Tsk, can't trade those, little guy. Sorry, but my boss doesn't accept crystals and gems. I'm only allowed to accept the Asperattan currency here. The drachmas stamped with the visage of Calunar."
Kane frowned, "Ah, okay. Nevermind then-"
As Kane went to turn away, Angeline came over and tossed a small pile of thin metal bars on the counter, each was stamped with a weight in kilograms and the face of a nobleman, presumably Calunar.
Kane glanced to her, and stepped back slightly. He blinked a few times, unsure what to make of what just happened.
The clerk looked at the pile and blinked a few times himself, "Oh! You going to pay for him, Angeline?"
Angeline nodded, "Mhm! He caught me from a really bad fall earlier, so I want to help him if it's just something as simple as clothes!"
The store clerk then casually pulled the metal bars back, "Well if you insist, Little Lady, then I'm not going to deny anything~"
Kane pushed his crystals back into his bag and looked at Angeline while the clerk pulled the hangers off the clothes, "…Thank you, Angeline."
Angeline smiled, "It's the least I could do. You very well saved my life, you know. I don't think I would have caught myself in time."
The store clerk passed the clothes over to Kane, who carefully took them, and went to leave, "W-well, thank you again but- I need to go."
Angeline grabbed Kane's wrist, "Here, come with me! I know a place where you can get changed that isn't too far from here."
Kane's eyes widened slightly as he was pulled along by Angeline.
He would have resisted anyone else, but her touch and voice made him want to follow without question. It was a little scary for a moment, but then he let himself feel as though he had finally hit his break from all the awful things that have happened to him his entire life.
This was the friend he was begging for last week; Maybe The Mother of The Dark Sky had finally answered.
Angeline pulled her spare house key from her dress and unlocked her house's door, walking inside with Kane, "Here we are. My home."
Kane looked around a bit, it was a humble home, one owned by someone who clearly wouldn't be able to stay in it for very long, very often.
Kane then realized she said it was her house, and he got flustered, "Wh-wha-wait, wait! Your house? Is it okay for me to be here?"
He stood outside, the clouds covering the sun overhead.
Angeline grabbed his wrist again and pulled him inside, "As far as I'm concerned, you're welcome any time. All I have to do is tell daddy you're my friend and he won't care at all."
Kane was pulled inside and he looked at her in disbelief, "But… Don't you know about me? I'm-"
Angeline put a finger to his lips to stop him speaking, "You're the guy who just saved my life. I don't care what anybody else thinks of you now."
Kane teared up, "That's… I- I've never had a friend before… I-I'm sorry, I-"
Angeline smiled brightly, "What are you apologizing for? You have a new friend! Come, let's play!" She pulled him along again, first to the downstairs bathroom, "Here, you can change your clothes in here."
Kane went inside and closed the door, turning the lock so he could swap his clothes to what she just bought for him. He then looked at himself in the mirror, caught off-guard by his reflection, "Woah…"
He'd seen his reflection before, but only in water or against rather smooth polished stones, like the floors of the church.
Never in something so clear as a mirror. He thought he would hate how he really looked, but in reality, he thought he looked fine.
He was very different from everyone else, in face shape and in his hair especially, but that difference made him stand out, and with how kindly Angeline had treated him from the very beginning… It was hard to look at himself the same way others did.
Kane left the bathroom and looked around, noticing Angeline had gone down the hall to the living room where she was sat on the floor with a dollhouse and dolls, along with a few other toys. She beckoned him to come over when she spotted him, and Kane walked in, sitting on the floor with her to play.
Kane didn't know how to play at all, but Angeline taught him, and he easily picked up.
It was fun. Very fun. It was the most fun thing he had ever done. He wasn't concerned with anything else other than just having fun with her.
But the thought of how beautiful she was never left. He wondered what she was, to be so captivating and pretty. He read in books about creatures who could enchant others in various ways, and he knew this city had people who weren't completely human. Maybe Angeline was some kind of enchanter?
Whatever the case, he didn't care. She was the same age as him, and he couldn't feel even a hint of malice or malevolence in what she was doing.
All he knew was that he'd completely fallen in love, and part of him felt, if he had to; Immediately without question, he would certainly lay down his life if it meant she could live.
Back in the Church, Matthew was looking around for Angeline while he faintly heard Father Arkwryght giving the sermon.
He scratched his head and seemed confused, "Where could she possibly have gone during the sermon…? This is the first time she's completely skipped out… I wonder if she got tired from singing this week. She told me she didn't sleep well after all."
A nun came over having noticed Matthew, "Ah, sir! I spotted Angeline leaving the Church earlier, following Kaneryo! I'm not sure where they went, so-"
Matthew held a hand up, "Ah, that shouldn't be too much of a worry. I'll call the house then."
The nun tilted her head, "Are you sure? He's the Cursed Child! She could be in danger, sir…"
Matthew waved her off and walked to the phone on a nearby desk, "I highly doubt that, miss."
Matthew smirked, "Even if Angeline truly were to be threatened by him, her magical talents far exceed anyone's expectations. Even I occasionally am caught off-guard by how strong she really is."
He called home, and Angeline looked up from where she was playing with Kane, and stood up, "I have to get the phone, I'll be right back."
She hurried off, and Kane watched her head to the kitchen. He got up and followed her over, sitting on a stool across the counter from where she picked up the phone, "Hello?"
Matthew, "Did you go home, Angeline?"
Angeline nodded, "Yes I did. I found Kane in a store and helped him buy some new clothes, then brought him home to play with me."
Matthew laughed, "Ah, I see. Okay, well you two have fun then. I'll be home after the sermon is over. Tell Kane he can stay as long as he wants to tonight. In the meanwhile, could you get the guest room for him if he'd like to stay the night?"
Angeline's eyes widened, and Kane got a bit concerned for a second, "Wh-what is it?" he looked at her worried.
Angeline looked at Kane and smiled, "Okay." she answered her father, "I'll see you then!" she hung up and ran around the counter, grabbing Kane and pulling him off the stool. He nearly fell as he was pulled along by her, "Daddy said you could stay the night if you wanted to. We have a guest room with a super-duper comfy bed you can sleep in if you want!" She brought him over to the room and opened the door for him to see.
Kane stepped in, and Angeline let go of his wrist. He looked around the room in a bit of awe, "…Wow… I've… Never seen a bedroom before."
Angeline seemed shocked, "Really? Do you not live in a house too?"
Kane turned to look at her and shook his head. He nervously grabbed his arm and looked away in shame, "I live up on the mountain… In one of the caves."
Angeline's shocked turned to wonder, "Woah… That's really cool! But if you've never seen a bed before…"
Kane nodded a bit, "Yeah, I don't have one. I just sleep on the stone floor of the caves."
Angeline folded her arms and shook her head, "Well that's no good at all. You need a big comfy bed to sleep in or else you'll be constantly tired and unable to do anything! Daddy says he never sleeps well when he's out on duty sleeping on the ground."
She walked over to the closet and opened it, pulling out sheets and blankets, then went to start making the bed. Kane walked over to help, and Angeline taught him out to make a bed, and fit pillowcases over pillows, how to neatly tuck sheets, and how to lay a comforter right.
After they finished, Angeline then carefully grabbed Kane's wrist again, "Hey, you wanna go back and play more? Daddy won't be home for another hour he said, so we can play all we want until then. I can even make us lunch if we get hungry."
Kane looked at her and shook his head slightly, "N-no, you don't have to feed me… I wouldn't feel right if you did. I-I don't deserve that much…"
Angeline laughed, "Nonsense! I don't care what you deserve or not, Kane, I just wanna be nice!" she pulled him along, and Kane was snapped out his sadness immediately.
His heart skipped a beat, and the memory of her pulling him along with such a bright smile burned itself into his memory.
This is a moment he knew he would treasure for eternity.
The way she looked was perfect. As the sun gently came out from behind a cloud through the window to shine over her beautiful snow-white hair and fair skin, it complimented her absolutely dazzling beautiful blue eyes. Like looking at the picture-perfect definition of "Pure, innocent beauty."
Kane smiled again, looking at her, and Angeline's smile only seemed to get brighter, and purer, as she saw his smile.
That look back would be a memory permanently burned into her mind as well, an image she would not, and could not ever forget.
For Angeline, her decision to be his friend was the only one she truly made herself.

The Wrong Lifetime – Eight // Wanda Maximoff
chapter seven | story masterlist | main masterlist | wattpad | chapter nine
author’s note: Y/C/N = your cousin’s name, also this is later than I wanted today but i’ve been super busy so sorry for that! Also, I’ll be responding to comments from the last one as soon as I’m free. Enjoy 😊
Tumblr media
"...okay, so now use the water to dilute the colour."
I did as Wanda said, dipping my brush in the glass of water and diluting the watercolour I was using, but I must have used too much because it made the paint run and then the paper started to get too damp to hold together.
Wanda facepalmed, sighing as I smiled sheepishly.
"My bad...?"
She glared playfully before ripping a page from her sketchbook. "Try again, milaya (darling). And use less water this time."
I squinted in the sun as I glanced at her. "Can't you just accept I'm not very good at painting? Or art in general?"
She shook her head, taking the torn page from my grasp and replacing it with a new one. "No way. You're not getting out of it that easily. It's not hard, I promise!"
I groaned lightheartedly. "You said that about drawing. And about using acrylics. And about using chalk."
"And I'm saying it about this, now c'mon, try again," she encouraged with an amused smile before returning to her own painting.
We were sat in my garden, hanging out and making the most of the lovely day we were having. The Spring breeze was getting warmer as we transitioned into Summer and it was a nice change of pace from the usual bad weather we had. So nice that Wanda wanted to do some painting and also teach me how to. But art was never my strong suit and I'm sure she knew that but still proceeded to try anyway.
Sketching out the tree before us for the third time today, I attempted to provide an outline that I could eventually fill in with green watercolours. Unlike Wanda though, it wasn't fun. My eyes veered over to her and I smiled to myself as I admired the look of concentration on her face – her 'art' look, I dubbed it. It was this very specific expression she got whenever she worked on a painting or drawing, and it always reminded me of that first time I saw it, after we met in the stationary store and when she took me back to her room. Absolutely wonderful.
"I don't hear a pencil moving," she said, not looking up but beginning to smile.
"That's because I'm looking for... what did you call it?" I racked my brain, thinking back to the day in the store when she talked about inspiration. "Vdokhoventi?"
A sharp exhale escaped her lips as she finally lifted her gaze to meet mine. Attempting not to laugh, she tilted her head adorably. "Vdokhnoveniye."
I quirked a brow. "Is that not what I said?"
She giggled, shaking her head. "Definitely not."
I grinned, shrugging. "Well, that's what I meant."
She rolled her eyes playfully. "I'm not it, so eyes on your page."
"Oh, how dearly mistaken you are, love," I said quietly, leaning close and giving her a knowing smile.
She looked up, expression softening with a smile. Her eyes were heavenly, pupils dilated as she squinted in the sun, and they flickered to my lips before she settled on nudging me in the shoulder slightly. I snickered, leaning my head on her shoulder since everybody thought we were as close as best friends, so it wouldn't look suspicious. She sighed contently, letting me watch as she moved her paintbrush, painting a flower that was peeking through the grass we were sat on.
I could have stayed there forever, in that moment, sitting with Wanda and watching her paint under the sun. But of course, all good things come to an end when you don't want them to.
"Y/N, dear," I heard my father call, and when I looked up, I saw him approaching Wanda and I from the direction of our house.
Straightening up, I watched as he attempted to sit on the grass, but his legs were too long and he struggled to cross them. With a hearty chuckle, he stretched them out, slightly bent, and leaned on his hands.
"I'm getting too old for this, ladies," he said humorously, making Wanda and I smile.
"What d'you need, dad?" I asked, raising my brows.
"I just wanted to check in and see if you were ready for tonight," he said casually, making me furrow my brows. He seemed to notice my confusion, prompting, "Tonight? Your cousin's birthday party?"
"My cousin's what-now?"
He sighed, massaging the point between his brows. "Y/C/N? They organised this months ago. We're all expected to be there." His glanced to Wanda. "You, too, dear."
Wanda hummed, pulling her gaze from her painting and looking to my dad. "Yes, I'm aware. Got my dress ready and everything."
My eyes snapped to Wanda's with surprise. "You knew about this?!"
"You should be more like her," my dad muttered, as Wanda smiled with a hint of mischief in her eyes.
I looked back to my father. "I was planning on helping Y/B/N with his manuscript tonight."
My dad waved his hand. "I've already talked to him. He's agreed to work on it before the party starts so you're both on time."
I groaned, already tired at the sound of yet another party. Did it ever end?
"Don't be late," he ordered, though his voice was anything but stern. Cue another groan. He smiled before looking to Wanda's painting. "Wow, that's great, dear. Apparently you've got Y/N here attempting to do the same?"
Wanda chuckled as she handed him my several failed attempts. "Key word being 'attempting'."
He accepted the pages and stifled a smile of amusement. "Wow... maybe you should stick to writing, Y/N."
I ripped the pages from his grasp. "Cheers, dad, really."
He laughed before leaning forward and kissing my forehead. "It's all in good faith, dear. Now remember. Don't be late tonight, okay?"
I sighed, which he took as my response, before pushing himself off the grass with a grumble. Dusting his trousers, he nodded to Wanda and I before leaving us be.
"You could've told me I had yet another party to attend tonight," I told Wanda with narrowed eyes.
She shrugged, smiling helplessly. "I thought you knew."
I laid back on the grass with a dramatic sigh. "I just don't understand why our life revolves around extravagant parties, balls and dinners."
"That's just how it is, moya lyubov' (my love)," she said with a warm smile.
I looked up at the sky, raising my hand to shield the sun from my eyes, though my heart fluttered at one of the many nicknames she called me in Russian. "I'd rather live in the middle of nowhere. Where nobody expects anything of me and there's no stupid parties to attend."
She rested a hand on my leg before laying beside me, leaning her head on my shoulder. I relaxed my head on hers, appreciating how well we fit together.
"Same here," she agreed, making me gasp playfully.
"What? Don't you love the glitz and glamour?"
She laughed quietly. "I do, but I like the peace and quiet more."
I breathed out, fingertips brushing hers. "Maybe I can be a little late tonight... accidentally run over time so I don't have to stay as long."
Her fingers tugged on mine between us as a warning. "No. I'll be left alone and I'll be bored. And when I'm bored, I drink."
It was my turn to laugh. "You won't be alone, Wanda. You'll have Pietro."
She shifted so she was no longer leaning on my shoulder but instead tilting her head to look my way. "I want you."
I turned my head and gave her a small, promising smile. "I'll try to be on time."
She quirked a brow. "Try? You will."
My eyes flittered away, ready to argue otherwise, but she sat up and grabbed her paintbrush. I sat up, too, ready to tell her I would try, but I flinched when she flicked water towards me from the tip of it.
"Are you serious?" I asked, wiping the water from my eyelids with tongue-in-cheek.
She chuckled and I grabbed my paintbrush and did the same, watching her squirm when it flicked on her face.
Suppressed smile on her face, she wiped away the water and glared with dazzling eyes. "You shouldn't start what you can't finish, milaya (darling)."
Smiling from ear to ear, I quirked a brow devilishly. "Oh?"
"You're so lucky we're in front of people," she said lowly, leaning close enough to be platonic, but her hand slipped under my dress and creeped up my leg, making me involuntarily shiver. "Or you would be in serious trouble."
I stopped her hand from going any higher, the rings on her fingers cold enough for me to not melt under her touch. "I highly doubt that, love."
She held my gaze, intoxicating and mesmerising all at once. A sly smile tugged at her lips as she said, "Don't test me then. You heard your father. Don't be late."
I exhaled, licking my lips. "Fine. I won't be."
Later that afternoon, I found myself sat in my brother's study as the two of us worked on his latest manuscript together. It was a love story, his (my) specialty, and I was helping him to sort out his sentence structure when he decided to question me.
"Will you entertain me for a moment?" he asked randomly, making me look up from the pages.
"I'll probably regret it, but go on," I said jokingly, before looking back down and adding some notes to the paper.
His chair creaked as he leaned back, eyes watching me thoughtfully. "Are you in a secret relationship?"
I almost choked on my spit as he asked this, heart dropping to my stomach with panic. He couldn't know about Wanda, right? We'd been so careful.
Thankfully, I played it off well as I merely glanced his way before distracting myself with note-taking.
"Why would you think that, Y/B/N?" I asked like he was insane.
He shrugged in my peripheral. "I don't know... I've been wondering for a while. You've just loosened up so much more. And you're not as uptight as you usually are."
"Cheers," I said sarcastically.
He leaned forward, head resting in his palm. "This all happened right about the time I met Wanda..."
I swallowed hard, quirking a brow at him to play down my panic.
"I saw you with Pietro the other week," he continued, and I could finally breathe when I realised what he was insinuating. "I'm happy if you're happy, Y/N, but I'm not a fan of you sleeping with my publisher."
At that thought, I shuddered and proceeded to shove Y/B/N on the arm. "Don't say that. And I would never."
Just your fiancé, I thought guiltily.
"Good," he said with relief, straightening up. "Because you're not supposed to do that until you get married."
I rolled my eyes dismissively in response, but wondered if that still applied in a world where one was not allowed to marry the person they loved.
Y/B/N gave me a reassuring glance. "Look, I'm okay with it, I guess. But I'd appreciate the heads up so I can give him a stern talking to."
Realising there was a hint of mirth in his voice, I looked up and gave him a warning look. "Don't you dare."
He laughed, patting me on the back, to which I shrugged off with annoyance.
"It's the Maximoff charm," he commented knowingly. "The twins have that effect on people, don't they? Wanda sure has it on me."
A short silence fell after he said that and I chewed on my lip curiously, unable to stop myself from speaking until it was too late.
"Is her love reciprocated?"
He looked down to me from his daydream, no doubt of Wanda. "Pardon?"
Knowing there was no backing down from the conversation now, I avoided his eyes. "The engagement between you both was arranged... you're clearly in love with her, but is it returned?"
His lips twitched into a frown. "I'd hope so."
I hummed, diverting my attention away from him and to the pen in my hand.
"Why? Did she say something?" he asked, voice laden with worry.
"Of course not," I reassured him.
"But you'd tell me if she did?" he asked eagerly.
I looked his way and saw him peering down at me, hanging onto my response. I nodded lamely, which seemed to put him at ease as he sank into his chair with relief.
We spent the next few hours working on the manuscript without a hitch, but I noticed the time and realised the party was already in full swing. Wanda's words came to mind and I hoped she wouldn't be too annoyed at my lateness.
"We're wrapping it up now, don't worry," Y/B/N said, noticing me check the clock. "Thanks for the help. I'm gonna get this to my editor tomorrow. Your amendments should help make the process go a lot smoothly."
I hummed in response, feeling a heaviness settle on my shoulders as he mentioned his editor. It was always the same routine – I helped him with his manuscript, he got it edited, got his book published and got all the credit. And I was stuck in the same position, wishing I could do the same.
"What is it?" he asked with a sigh, sensing my mood.
Playing with the corner of the manuscript, I met his gaze. "I help you with your writing, but I never get anything from it."
"You get to help me," he pointed out, not seeing the issue. "Isn't that enough?"
Pietro's offer came to mind as I said, "What if I wrote my own book? And got published with my name on the cover?"
He squinted as he studied me, trying to find the humour in my words. Letting out a laugh, he shook his head.
"Y/N, that's absurd."
I raised my eyebrows hopefully. "I mean, is it? Would that be so bad?"
He pressed his lips together and breathed out through his nose. Resting a hand on my shoulder, he gave me a condescending look.
"I'm saying this because I care," he said, making me feel like crap. "But yes."
As if I didn't already know the answer, I asked, "Why?"
He motioned with his hand like it was obvious. "Because. People would look at you differently. You'd be undesirable. You know men don't like smart women. I'm just looking out for you as your brother."
I looked away, the bitterness at his words stinging more than usual. "Well, I like smart women."
Thinking I was joking, he chuckled. "Don't go saying things like that. One might misinterpret."
My teeth pressed into my lower lip hard, trying to contain my frustration.
"You can do this every now and then," he said, referring to the manuscript, "but any more isn't possible. Besides, two authors in one family? That's insane."
I forced a smile, but I wondered if his last comment was the real reason he wouldn't let me at least try to get published.
"Anyway, never mind that," he said indifferently. "We should probably head out. Dad is not going to be pleased. Especially since I promised we wouldn't be late."
I nodded, sliding my chair out and wanting to be anywhere but here right now. "Yeah, come on."
He gave me a sneaky smile. "Can't wait to see Pietro?"
I slapped him on the arm before standing up, ignoring his laughter. Nothing to make an already-depressing night worse than going to a party you didn't care for.
Wanda Maximoff was a very difficult drunk to be around, I'd learnt that the hard way.
As soon as Y/B/N and I rolled up to my cousin's house, a third of the guests were drunk and the rest were tipsy. A typical Y/L/N get-together. Y/B/N was instantly dragged away by some family whilst I was quick to make myself scarce, attempting to find Wanda. But the place was bustling with people and there were way too many rooms to check.
I found Pietro before I found his twin, as he was poking around party favours on a table in the corner, attempting to make out what were in the bags.
I found Pietro before I found his twin, as he was poking around party favours on a table in the corner, attempting to make out what were in the bags.
"If you're expecting a brand new fountain pen, you won't find it in there," I teased, making him jump.
He sighed when he looked my way, realising it was me. "I know that. But there's nothing better here to do, so I may as well know what freebies we'll be getting by the end of it."
I smirked. "Anything good?"
He shrugged, seeming disappointed. "Just some chocolate and perfume samples."
Holding back a smile, I said, "How tragic."
"If you're looking for my sister, she's over there," he said, nodding behind me. "You'll love this one."
"What do you mean?" I asked, brows knitted with confusion, before turning around and following his gaze.
Wanda was indeed stood on the other side of the dining room and I could just about make her out between idle guests. She was chatting to some woman, hands moving erratically and with expression, a grin on her lips.
"What is she doing?" I asked unsurely, tearing my eyes from her and looking to Pietro.
He was withholding laughter as he answered, "Sometimes, dear Y/N, my beloved twin sister gets drunk when she's–"
"Bored," I finished, remembering what she told me this morning. My face dropped as I mumbled, "Uh-oh."
"Uh-oh indeed," Pietro said, grinning at his sister's dismay. "Drunk Wanda is a very truthful Wanda. So, any secrets of hers will most definitely be revealed tonight."
Pietro was too caught up in his own amusement to notice my eyes widening.
"One of our servants made me a platter a few years ago," Pietro explained, oblivious to my panic. "It was a delicious cheese platter, the cheese having been imported from France. Then, Wanda proceeded to eat it without telling me. When I asked if she did, she lied. And I only discovered she lied because she got drunk a few weeks later and bragged about how good the cheese was."
Continuing to ramble, though this time in Russian, Pietro complained about said incident, though I wasn't listening as I watched Wanda talk to the woman enthusiastically. I could only imagine what secrets she was sharing.
"Pietro!" I cut him off, earning his attention. "Shouldn't you do something? To stop Wanda?"
The cheese platter story long forgotten, his grin reappeared on his lips. "Nah, it's funny watching her make a fool of herself."
I gave him a look of disbelief before looking back to Wanda, who was laughing at something by herself. The woman she was speaking to seemed partially confused, but smiled to be polite. I gulped, before shaking my head.
"I'm not that mean," I said to Pietro before making a move to stop her.
Pietro booed me playfully, but I ignored him and approached the drunk brunette, managing to catch her conversation.
"–and they're usually such catty bitch–"
"Wanda!" I immediately cut her off, bumping into her side slightly to get her attention. "There you are!"
Green eyes widened with excitement as they met mine. "Y/N! You're here!"
Ignoring her, I wrapped an arm around her shoulder and tugged her close before looking to the guest she was talking with.
"My apologies for her behaviour," I said with an awkward smile, hoping Wanda hadn't revealed anything suspicious.
"No need to apologise, dear," the woman said with an amused smile. "Wanda here was telling me all about how lovely of a sister-in-law you are. Or will be."
Wanda grinned, looking to me and leaning in so close that her nose brushed my cheek. "Yeah, she is," she continued to the woman, though her eyes were on mine. "She's sweet, not like other people make out their sister-in-laws to be."
My face was warm as I cleared my throat and smiled once more to the woman. "If you'll excuse Wanda and I."
The woman barely got out a nod before I dragged Wanda away, trying to keep her lips away from my neck (she was also an extremely clingy drunk). Tugging her into the bathroom down the hall, I closed the door behind us and released a breath of relief, grateful for the escape from guests.
"You look very sexy when you're worried," Wanda complimented, stepping forward and smiling dazedly.
"Wanda–"
She placed her hand on my jaw, moving closer so that her lips were grazing mine as she mumbled, "You came late, milaya (darling). But I still love you."
I'd like to say that I had the willpower to push her away and scold her for acting so obvious about us before, but my lips went numb as she captured them between hers. I could taste the alcohol on her lips as she moved them against mine, making me dizzy and forgetting what I was going to say. Her thumb caressed my jaw and I relaxed under her touch, hands resting on her chest. When she tried to part my lips with her tongue, I seemed to come to my senses.
"Wanda, you're drunk," I muttered, pushing her back gently.
She chased down my mouth again, sucking on my lip and tilting my head back so she could have better access. I tried not to let her win as I kissed her briefly before pulling away. Clouded hazel eyes met mine with a matching smirk.
"You're such a tease," she whispered, her accent thicker than usual and making my stomach flip uncontrollably. Her thumb traced my lips as she continued, "You shouldn't do that when I already know how you taste, moya lyubov' (my love)."
The way she was staring at me made me flustered in place, and she seemed to notice her effect on me as she winked my way.
Shaking my head and trying not to let her win, I said, "Look, Wanda. I'm sorry for being late. But did you really have to get drunk?"
She shrugged, leaning her weight on my shoulder with her hand. "If you hadn't kept me waiting, then I wouldn't have."
I sighed, looking to her apologetically. "I didn't realise the time."
A permanent troublesome smile was fixed on her lips as she watched me.
"Your brother told me how you can be when you get drunk," I said with mild concern, hoping she'd register my seriousness. "You need to be careful, Wanda. We can't have people finding out about us."
"It seems to me," she began agonisingly slowly, lacing her arms around my shoulders, "that you'll have to watch me all night to make sure I don't do anything out of line."
Determined not to play into her teasing, I maintained her gaze with a stern stare. "It seems I'll have to."
She bit her lip, eyes flickering between mine, before leaning further into my ear. In a whispered voice, she said, "That means you can't leave my side, printsessa (princess)."
I clenched my jaw, ready to agree, but a gasp escaped my lips as hers sucked on my earlobe, teeth nibbling on the sensitive skin. Stupid Wanda and her stupid flirting and stupid attractiveness.
"Wanda!" I scolded, though my cheeks were flushed as I pushed her away gently.
She laughed adorably, the sound making my heart skip a beat. "What?"
"You have to behave," I told her, swallowing hard and trying not to let her teasing smile get to me. "You can't do this out there. Okay?"
"Okay," she agreed in a way that wasn't reassuring in the slightest.
I rolled my eyes before grabbing her hand and leading her back outside the bathroom, returning to the party. I wasn't planning on leaving her side for the rest of the evening, even if Y/B/N wanted to be with her. The last thing I wanted was for her cute drunken self to reveal something she couldn't take back.
To my relief, she kind of behaved after that. There were times when she would get a little too touchy to be platonic, but a quick stare set her straight. Y/B/N wasn't around much, as when he did join us, he was immediately pulled away by some family friends who wanted to discuss his books. For once, I was glad he was an author, afraid of what would happen if Wanda got too comfortable in his presence.
At one point though, he was able to join Wanda, Pietro and I at a standing table, relief flooding his expression when nobody called after him. His arm wrapped around Wanda's waist and he kissed the top of her head, making me look the other way with distaste. She scrunched her nose up at the action before distracting herself with a drink. I gave her a knowing look, having told her earlier to stop with the alcohol. She pretended not to see me.
"Sorry I've not been able to spend time with you tonight," he said to Wanda, oblivious to her tipsy state.
"It's almost like it's your birthday and not your cousin's," Pietro joked, smiling at him.
My brother chuckled. "I guess. They just all wanna talk about my manuscript."
"Ah, yes, the reason you were late, right?" Wanda asked, eyes falling to mine.
"I'm sorry," my brother apologised, assuming it was him she was speaking to.
"You were helping him, too, right?" Pietro asked, looking to me curiously. "Maybe I'll finally get a glance at your work."
I narrowed my eyes at him, having figured he'd put the subject to rest after last time. He merely grinned in response, finding joy in messing with me, just like his sister. Before I could say anything, my brother beat me to it.
"Don't be getting any ideas. It's just a hobby." He smiled forcefully, before glancing at me. "Isn't it, Y/N?"
"Don't be getting any ideas. It's just a hobby." He smiled forcefully, before glancing at me. "Isn't it, Y/N?"
So he was jealous. Wow.
"You don't need to hide your relationship, y'know," he continued when I didn't respond, looking to Pietro.
The silver-haired publisher choked on his drink as he looked to my brother, clearly very amused.
"I know you're together," Y/B/N said with agitation. "Everybody does. And don't get me wrong, Pietro, I respect you as a publisher."
I groaned quietly, closing my eyes with embarrassment. When I opened them, Pietro was watching my brother with an entertained smile, meanwhile, Wanda was looking between them with a twitching frown.
"But if you're going to date my sister, you should do it the right way," my brother continued stupidly. "It's not appropriate to have whatever this is." He motioned between us with his hands. "It's wrong."
I jumped when Wanda's hand slipped to my arse, squeezing it gently. Thankfully, our backs were to a wall so nobody would have noticed behind us, but I instantly glared at her and removed her hand. She gave me a cunning smile, not bothered by the consequences.
"...and if you're sleeping together like I suspect," Y/B/N was saying, making me flush with humiliation, "know that our friendship is at breaking point. I can't have that blatant disrespect in my life."
Wanda continued to attempt to grab my arse, making me slap her hand away several times, all whilst trying to manage whatever conversation was happening right now.
"I can't believe you just said that," I finally spoke up, managing to keep Wanda at bay long enough. "You're such an idiot, Y/B/N! I told you I wasn't with Pietro!"
Pietro tried not to laugh as he met my brother's intimidating stare. "I value our friendship, too, Y/B/N. Which is why I can promise you I have no... relations... with your sister. I don't like her like that, I can assure you."
Wanda snorted with amusement, before hiding behind a glass of wine when everyone looked her way.
Y/B/N seemed embarrassed as he cleared his throat. "Oh."
I rolled my eyes. "Yes, oh!"
"I guess I should apologise," he said awkwardly, looking to Pietro. "I–"
"No apology necessary," Pietro cut him off, raising a hand. "I am thankful for the entertainment however."
"I'm gonna go literally anywhere else," I dismissed myself, unable to take the uncomfortable situation any longer.
Without waiting for a response, I turned on my heel and walked away. To my surprise, Wanda trailed after, falling into step with me.
I glanced at her unhappily, quirking a brow. "Can I help you?"
"Oh, don't be mad at me because your brother's an idiot," she said with a wag of her hand.
I gave her a suggestive look. "I told you to behave."
She pressed her lips together in a sheepish smile. "I'm sorry... Y/B/N was talking about you and Pietro and I– well, I don't like sharing, remember?"
The improper glint in her eye as she stopped before me, watching with amusement, made me feel warm all of a sudden. That day when she first told me that and we proceeded to make love flashed to mind, and she seemed to know as she had a mischievous look on her face.
Clearing my throat, I pointed a finger her way. "Behave."
I should have known by the devilish look in her eyes that she wouldn't.

notes: i defrosted this draft from valentine’s day aahhh hope you like it!! ;^; p.s. shoutout if you can spot his canon voice lines in this hehehe
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SITTING WITH MY BACK ON THE FOUNTAIN WALL and watching the rotating blades of the windmills in Mondstadt was not how I expected to spend my evening on Valentine's Day.
To be honest, Valentine's Day was never that big of a deal to me.  For the past few years, I always considered Valentine's Day to be a day where vendors could get a boost of profit by exploiting the gift-giving aspect of the holiday and selling their wares to cheesy couples who wouldn't know any better.  Why was there a dedicated day to be sweet to your significant other?  Couldn't special gifts be given at any other time of the year?
Despite my indifference to Valentine's Day, I couldn't help but feel a little lonely this year.  My back purposely faced the couples of Mondstadt who would walk by now and then on their way to their dates and instead I had windmills to accompany me along with a book to pass the time.  I figured my evening stroll outside wouldn't make me feel so disappointed in myself, but I was proven sorely wrong.  I couldn't even look at other people today without feeling sorry for myself.
"[Y/N]?" a familiar voice drew closer behind me, interrupting my lament and startling me.  "What are you doing here all alone?"
I turned my head to see my close friend and neighbor Kaeya approaching me, carrying a small leather pack along with his sheathed sword on his waist.  I realized he probably finished his shift at the Knights of Favonius headquarters and was just about to head home.  The sight of him eased some of my worries knowing that despite my usual solitude, at least I would talk to one person today.  "Just reading a book," I held up the cover of my book for him to see.  He gave a small nod to the title as I put it back down into my lap.  "How did you even spot me here?"
"I can see you from my office," he pointed at a window on the wall of the headquarters, "You chose quite an odd spot for reading, dear friend. You must be uncomfortable on the ground like that.”
I nervously laughed, not wanting to admit that I sat behind this fountain to avoid looking at how much fun everyone else was having.  My gaze turned to the sky, a vibrant orange that now began fading into a shadow of dark blue sprinkled with stars.  Dusk was approaching. “I suppose it is getting a little late for reading, now that I think about it.  I think I might head home now."
"Allow me to accompany you on your walk home.  I’m headed that way, after all," he quickly offered as I began to prop myself up to my feet.  He held out his hand to help me on my way up, the sudden physical contact sending a shiver down my spine.  As clearly touch deprived as I was, my hand quickly pulled away once I was standing and dusted off my clothes, which were wrinkled from sitting for so long today.
"You are too kind, Kaeya," I grinned, earning a grin back from him.  Maybe this is my loneliness speaking for me, but I swear that smile might have made my heart skip a beat.  Although I may have had a crush on Kaeya for the past few months, there was no way I’d ever let those thoughts resurface now.  I've done a good job of repressing the feelings for so long, whether I was around him or not.  At least, I thought I did.
As we walked, it suddenly dawned on me that the feelings never truly went away.  They were persistent for months, despite being suppressed.  He was my closest friend for quite some time now.  So maybe it was a sign that it was meant to be...
Chills ran down my spine at this realization.  And once the truth had settled in, the feelings I thought I had managed to stow away suddenly flooded my mind in a storm of emotion.  The more we talked during the walk home, the more eager my heart was to open up and let the thought of him fill the cavernous, lonely void inside.  My eyes nervously turned to our feet, which stepped together in perfect sync.  My attention darted to the hand at his side, which I ached to touch once more.  The more I tried to fight this longing, to forget about it and keep it isolated, the more it fought back in an effort to stay alive.
"[Y/N]?" his sultry voice snapped me out of my delusion.  Do NOT let your emotions take control of you, I scolded myself.
"Sorry," I shuffled my feet towards his figure, which had stopped a few meters away.  The world seemed to stop when I was lost in thought, and with each step I took towards him, the world slowly resumed from where I mentally left it.
"Is something wrong?" he asked, now concerned.  "You know you can talk to me."
"No, no.  I'm fine," I gripped my book, fighting the urge to break in front of him.  "I'm just a little lost in my thoughts."
"Well then, what's on your mind?"
"Kaeya, you won't make fun of me if I’m being honest with you right?" I started to speak without thinking.  No, no, no!  What are you about to say?!
"What makes you think I would?  C’mon, [Y/N].  We joke around a lot but you know I'm good with secrets."
What are you doing?!  Don’t fall under pressure like this!
"Well...  I’ve felt quite lonely today.  A little part in me hurts to see so many people enjoying Valentine's Day, knowing fully well that I live alone and spend most of my days alone...   I guess what I’m trying to say is that it was very kind of you to go out of your way to talk to me today, Kaeya.  It means a lot more to me than you know."
The silence that followed that regurgitation of thoughts was lethal.  Kaeya didn't even stop.  We just kept walking.  I ignored the instant regret that pounded the walls in my head.
"So you didn't have any plans today?" he asked, as if he had just ignored everything I told him.
"Not at all.  I was taking a stroll to find a good reading spot for today but seeing so many couples together...  I guess it was like pouring salt into the wound.  That's why I was sitting turned away from everything, if that answers your question from earlier."
Now you've just told him too much.  If he didn't already think you were sad and lonely before, he definitely thinks so now.
"You shouldn't isolate yourself like that, [Y/N].  We could've– forget it, actually," he chuckled and rested his hand on the back of his neck as we finally approached our residential complex.
"Hey, spit it out!" I nudged him with my elbow, "I poured out my thoughts for you, don't get all shy now.  It's your turn."
We stopped at my front door, exchanging small chuckles.  The space between us was killing me. If only I could get enveloped by his warm embrace now... No!
"How about I tell you later?  Meet me here in around ten minutes."
"What?!" I scoffed, "Now you’re just toying with me."
"Ten minutes," he gave me one last grin and a short wave before jogging away towards his own house.  I shook my head as I turned the key to my door, feeling the slamming of my heart against my ribs and the sloppy mix of awe, nervousness, and regret boiling in my stomach.  His smile was frozen inside my mind like a photograph capturing a memory. It hurt to like him this much.
Tumblr media
A knock on my door ten minutes later pulled me away from tending to my plants on my balcony.  I set the watering can down and rushed to the door, straightening out my clothes once more before opening it.  Contrary to my expectations, Kaeya stood in the doorway with a shy grin, his hands obviously hiding something behind his back.
"I thought you were joking when you said ten minutes," I scoffed and crossed my arms, looking up at him to meet a pair of soft eyes.
"Still don't have plans for tonight?" his eyebrows raised with the question.
"No.  What, are you about to take me out on a date or something?" I said in jest.  He chuckled and uncrossed his arms behind his back with slight hesitation before revealing a dainty bouquet of calla lilies tied with a silver ribbon.  My jaw dropped slightly in shock with the sight of the charming white petals.
"I am, actually," his voice was gentler and sweeter than usual.  "These are for you."
He motioned for me to take the bouquet, which I gladly accepted.  The subtle fragrance reminded me of his own scent, which made me smile.  I secretly wished my entire house would smell like this unforgettable aroma – this unforgettable man.
"[Y/N]," his words were laced with hesitation, "I have been waiting weeks to tell you this but...  you are constantly on my mind.  Whenever I see you my heart jumps and..."
He chuckled with nervousness.  That grin never fails to make my chest light up.
"...and I know you're not going to believe me because you say I smooth talk everyone, but I promise you, [Y/N].  I know you see that I’m nervous right now – that doesn't happen to me with anyone else.  This feeling hasn't gone away for months.”  Instant regret suddenly painted his face, which I quickly took notice of.  I stepped closer to him and lifted my hand to gently cup his warm, blushing cheek.  It was my way of telling him to keep talking without interrupting him.
"[Y/N]..." he blushed more at the touch and sighed, "you are so special to me and... I’ll get straight to the point. I want to be more than friends. I really mean it.”
He stuffed his hands in his pockets and waited eagerly for my response.  I was no longer thinking properly.  My heart had taken over my mind, and for once, it was for my benefit.
"Kaeya," my voice cracked with a million emotions at once, "you have no clue how long I’ve wanted to hear you say that.  I am so in love with you it makes me sick," I admitted lightheartedly.
He laughed with relief, taking another step closer to me and shrinking the space between us.  He lifted his hand to grab mine and intertwined our fingers together.  The mood shifted from nerve wrecking intensity to reassurance and gentleness the instant our palms met.  He caressed my hand with his gloved thumb for reassurance, chasing all my troubles away.  "I promise I will never let you feel alone ever again."
We stood there staring into each other's eyes for a few moments, exchanging so many mutual emotions in mere seconds.  A blush began to creep up my face as well when he gave my hand a squeeze accompanied with a proud smile.
"Well, now that we're both blushing messes in love with each other, how about we finally go out tonight?"  Our friendly dynamic finally returned to clear the thickness in the air once he broke the silence.  "I have to admit, I was feeling a little lonely myself and was just going to drink at the tavern with some of the other Knights tonight.”
   "Not anymore, I hope?"
"Definitely not.  I’d rather spend the evening holding your hand and taking a stroll through the city so everyone knows I’m finally yours."
This man sure knows how to say the right thing.  I glanced at the bouquet in my arms, partly to hide my reddened face but also to ask, "Could I put these in a vase first?  They're beautiful, by the way. I really love calla lilies.”
"Oh yes, of course. But they’re not as beautiful as you, cutie," Kaeya said with no reluctance.
There's the flirty Kaeya that I know.
I let out a shy laugh as he let go of my hand, the loss of touch making me pout.  As I turned to put the flowers away, he leaned on the doorframe and let out a deep breath.
"Well, I'll be here.  Don't make me wait too long, now."

I've Given All I Can
Tumblr media
Summary: You and Bucky feel as though you're pulling apart from each other, your worse fears come true one night at a party but is it too late?
Tumblr media
Warnings: Low self esteem, angst, language, Bucky is an idiot, tears, heartbreak, implied smut (but nothing explicit) at the end 💜
Author's Notes: Happy evening 😍 this is for @the-ss-horniest-book-club's Drunk Drabbles 💜
Tumblr media
Bucky has that unreadable look in his eyes again as he watches you change clothes. Your jeans feel too tight around your waist and your shirts pull across your stomach, accentuating the bulge from your food baby from all the binge eating junk you've eaten the past few weeks to help you feel better.
In truth, eating like that made you feel worse about yourself. You thought of yourself as the worst human alive because you couldn't stop it, you couldn't stop anything from going wrong with your body and your mind was in overdrive.
Your self esteem issues were eating away at you, you felt helpless as if you were screaming into a void alone and nobody was around to help you. Your mind would play the cruelest tricks. For example, how your mind would pick up on the facial expressions your boyfriend Bucky would give other women in the compound. He looks at them how he used to look at you when you first started dating, and it's been a while since you have seen that look from him.
For Bucky it was completely the opposite though, he's felt this distance between the two of you for a while and figured it was because you weren't interested in him anymore. He knows of the stress you've been under, how your insecurities are eating away at your thoughts and he longs for the day he sees your beautiful smile again.
He just knows it won't happen anytime soon and quite frankly, he doesn't even know what he should do anymore. Trying to talk to you was impossible because you would only grunt in response or not pay any attention to what he was asking or you would just change subjects which has been the case lately.
He doesn't know what do to, he wishes you would just tell him what he needs to do to make you love him again. He stares blankly at you as you change into jeans and a sweater, making no attempt to look away when you catch his stare and that look on his face.
Bucky stands and leaves you alone in the room, the door closes behind him and it's then the waterworks come to life. Tears roll freely down your cheeks as you crumble to the floor, hugging your knees to your chest, you rock back and forth feeling your heart break in your chest. You would give anything to have Bucky wrap his arms around you right now, it just seems he feels disgusted being near you and touching you.
While you were crying in your shared room, Bucky made his way to the kitchen where he saw Sam sitting on the stool sipping a coffee and scrolling through some files on the glass tablet.
"Rough mission?" Bucky asks, taking a seat opposite him and playing with the strings on his sweatpants.
"You could say that," Sam coughs into his bent elbow and looks over at Barnes to notice that worrying look in his eyes, "what's wrong?" He adds with a frown.
"Nothin'" Bucky sighs and runs a hand over his face. He looks tired and almost defeated.
"Come on man, I'm good for some things ya know!" Sam chuckles to encourage the man.
"It's just me and Y/N, things aren't... so good lately, feel like we're drifting apart." Bucky sniffles, saying it out loud was almost reality.
"Well, as your friend, I would advise you to sit down and talk about things, tell each other what's on your mind and hug it out even." Sam has a point but he doesn't understand that Bucky has tried to talk to you about this in the past and got nowhere. Now you were barely speaking.
"It's not that simple Sam," Bucky sighs and shakes his head.
Now it's Sam's turn to sigh, "nothing ever is simple. Just act like an adult and talk like adults, it's gonna be alright, man! Anyway, I got to go. I have a support group to motivate, let me know how things go." Sam grabs his backpack from the stool next to him and leaves quickly, leaving Bucky to think over his irrational plan that he thinks might work.
1 week later
Tonight is the night of one of Stark's extravagant parties and everyone is invited. It's also the night Bucky has a plan that he wants to execute to hopefully bring the two of you back together again.
He stands in front of the floor length mirror and adjusts his bowtie for the umpteenth time. His black suit is tailored to fit him perfectly and he knows how much you love him in black.
Your own dress was a gift from Natasha. It showed a lot of cleavage and thigh, normally, a dress like this was not something you would have chosen.
And by the time you got downstairs to the party, the room was already crowded ranging from the less fortunate to the billionaires. You had to shimmy past a couple of people to reach the bar, you were hoping your dress might spark some interest from Bucky tonight but he's nowhere to be seen.
You take a seat on the barstool and order a martini, the bartender hands you the drink and you thank him with a smile, spinning on your seat to sip your drink and scan the room. A boisterous laugh grabs your attention and your eyes follow the offensive sound. Your eyes narrow in on the gorgeous blonde standing in the corner, but it's the man she's with that makes your heart drop into your stomach.
It's Bucky. And her hands are holding onto his biceps as he presumably tells her one of his jokes. He's smiling, he's laughing and it's the happiest you have seen him for a while. Was he miserable because of you? Were you holding him back from happiness? The scene unfolding was answering all of your questions and more when Bucky takes her hand in his and pulls her to the dance floor to dance alongside the other 'couples'. They look so happy and so lost in each others eyes that your eyes well up and the room feels like it's closing in and suffocating you.
You can't breath, you need air and fast. You slam your glass down on the bar and stand up, taking off your heels so you can get out of here even quicker. You don't excuse yourself as you barge past the happy smiling attendees.
Wanda sees everything unfold from where she was stood. She saw the way Barnes had approached the blonde woman and started flirting with her as soon as you arrived at the party. She also sees he's none the wiser of the fact you've already left the scene upset and heartbroken.
Wanda approaches the blind idiot and pulls him away from the woman he's with. "what the -"
"I could ask you the same question Barnes! What the hell do you think you're playing at? You're cheating on Y/N now? My best friend?" Wanda is seething, and the urge to punch the smirk of his face is harder to resist.
"Did it work?" He asks with a smug grin looking around the party.
"Oh yeah, if your plan was to break her heart and make her cry, it worked perfectly!"
Bucky frowns and his lip quivers slightly, "nononono! That wasn't the plan! Fuck, where did she go?"
"Who knows." Wanda shrugs, she wouldn't tell him even if she did.
Bucky rushes past her and starts to look in every room until he finds you slouched against the wall of one of the vacant offices down the hall.
"Baby!" Bucky rushes in and kneels next to you, his big arms immediately pull you into his chest. You try to pull away but his grip is too strong and you end up sobbing uncontrollably into his chest. "I'm so sorry baby."
You pull your face away to breathe, your palms flat against his chest, "you're leaving me," you croak, looking up at him through wet eyelashes. The room around you feels like it's spinning, this feels like a really bad dream.
Bucky staggers for a moment, digging his fingertips further into your flesh. "Absolutely not baby! No way! I'm so sorry you gotta believe me doll, I was just trying to make you jealous because I thought you weren't interested in me anymore and-"
"I thought you weren't interested in me!" You argue, fighting back the fresh tears threatening to fall, "you haven't touched me in so long I didn't know what to think."
"Then it's my fault doll, I read the whole situation wrong and I should have talked to you like an adult, please let me make it up to you and I promise I'll show you just how much I love you and want to touch you." His nose nudges against yours and his face dips slightly to capture your lips. His lips are soft and you quietly moan into his mouth as he spins you both around and presses you up against the door ready to make good on his promise.

•• genre: fluff, angst
•• warning: mentions of alcohol
•• pairing: xiaojun x fem! reader
•• wc: 1.4k
•• collab: Resonance Beach by @amorajae
•• charlie's notes: enjoy this cheesy piece <3
•• summary: you two choose the worst time to argue and separate each other for a while so xiaojun is now a party pooper and he is a sappy drunk asshole. did he even understand what you said that night?
Tumblr media
“He is the luckiest asshole in the whole resort.”
“Not as lucky as me, remember I won the tickets to get here in the first place.” YangYang brags and a couple of mocking “thank you sir” echo the room.
“But really, who the fuck brings this alcoholic to his room?” Hendery questions and the man in question scoffs, sitting up just to find all the idiots gathered around him.
"Are you really talking about me….around me?" SiCheng, without a word, grabs his face like searching for something then proceeds to grab his hands and puts them up as he is shirtless. "He is complete, no organs removed or bruises. This guy right here is indeed lucky." Xiaojun furrows his eyebrows as SiCheng gives him a slap on the back, stands up and leaves as everyone follows him talking about what they should have for breakfast but the only rational one stays.
Kun rolls his eyes at his hungover friend when handing him a glass of water with pills he got there. "You know this resort masters at wild parties and strong liquor so why are you drinking so much? The blackout thing and being lightheaded are not sexy nor a good combination."
"I'm a grown man, it's fine."
" I know, that's why no one follows you."
"Don't lie, I heard the bartender calling you."
"...maybe. But that's not the point, how do you even get here?" XiaoJun groans because it's too early for this and he is hungry, thinking how he wants to go home and be at peace. "Whatever, just don't die DeJun. Do you have any news?"
He lowers his head and shakes it, no one really mentions it as they promised to shut up about it hoping he shuts up and enjoy.
Xiaojun indeed has been quiet but drinks one beer and he is sobbing about Y/N once again. Goddamnit. It's been a week of him drowning in his tears and three days of him drowning in alcohol, his friend is really heartbroken and he secretly wonders if this type of codependency is actually good for him.
Kun bites his hand to not call you and ask what happened because XiaoJun won't talk about the whole stuff. You two were basically glued to each other since you started dating and it was a bit awkward but XiaoJun looked happier and you were really nice to everyone.
He wonders if his probably now single friend is going to be alright. For now, he just listens to him talk for a bit and forces him to swallow a lot of healthy snacks so his liver doesn't collapse.
……….
It's been two long days at the resort and everyone is having fun except XiaoJun. He has been basically brought here as another suitcase anyways, one night he has been slurring words about Y/N and how the guys would have to kill him to make him accept the invitation to the resort and the next day he woke up at lunch time with a huge hangover at a king sized bed... at the Resort.
Fuck them all.
Until Kun made some sense because well, they didn't do it to mess with him. Actually, yes but also because XiaoJun was one of the most excited when Yangyang played a stupid lottery and won tickets to a luxury resort for a week. He helped Kun to organize everything for the other chaotic asshats, it was gonna be an unforgettable summer vacation.
Yangyang and the guys approved Y/N so they invited her but no one asked anything, maybe it was because he arrived late at the dorms looking like garbage after meeting you. He remembers reaching them and opening his hand to show them both of your rings, how embarrassing but at least that stopped the questions.
After Kun leaves, he slurs a thank you because he knows he is making this trip a nightmare for him. But a question keeps running through his head, does he actually reach his own dorm by himself?
DeJun can't even stand on his feet when frick an he acts wild almost screaming what he feels because the alcohol softs his vocal chords and makes him rant about his feelings he prefers no to talk about sober.
He doesn't stand up but leans to the little table at his left to search for his wallet and grab a lot of cash, he'll search the person and tip him extra because it's probably one of the service people that looks the worst side of him.
Let's give us some time. It would be good for both of us, DeJun.
Honestly, fuck you.
How is this good?
It was a silly argument that turned into something big as stress and miscommunication clashed, you both hurt each other with harsh words and stormed out in opposite directions. The next day he met you to talk things out and you forgave each other but it had turned awfully when you returned the promise ring to him.
You are not coming back, he can feel it.
Honestly, he wants to run to you and do something for you to get him back. But what if you end things right away? You said something about giving him a week to enjoy himself as the most repetitive thing of him at the argument was you being everywhere and he couldn't breathe.
He sighs, how stupid of him.
Basically, DeJun is the clingy one so that didn't make sense. He was the one expecting for you to come and cuddle him as you bicker with Yangyang as he tried to roast him, you caressing his hair as he played the guitar and sing for you, the little kisses on his cheek when he felts sad, how you didn't leave his hand even when you were paying for the snacks. He loved it, he was the one to search for your hand so you can hold him a bit more.
If you are taking your revenge now, it's working and he wishes once again being at the dorm so the wondering and the waiting eats him alive.
You are not coming back but he is hoping you do somehow.
…….
"DeJun! Are you drunk?" He shakes his head as he arrives at the fun stuff to do, maybe doing something would make him stop thinking about you for a bit. Everyone pats their back as he probably looks like crap and make him go to beach and learn surf.
...it doesn't work but he feels less miserable at least.
No headaches are cool too as night arrives and they are invited to a party. SiCheng bet him 100 dollars he couldn't pass the night without a single shot and he raises an eyebrow.
"I'll be the one who takes you to the dorm, I won't clean anything tho."
"Deal."
The variety of cocktails makes everyone drunk as hell and XiaoJun actually has fun watching Kun dancing on the table as everyone cheers for him. Hendery breaks empty glasses as he tries to do a house of cards with them, he is the one in charge of apologies tonight. SiCheng literally passes out on his lap and he can't move.
Luckily, the staff helps him and takes each asshat to their room and he gets the chance to ask who is the person who takes him to his own room.
"No staff was needed, sir. A lady came the first night and handed me her number so I could call her when you were passed out."
"Uh, what?"
"We allowed it as he addressed herself as your girlfriend. The friend who slept over you confirmed to us she made you arrive safely."
WHAT.
"Can you call her please?"
And there you are coming hurriedly from another side of the resort, waving at the bartender. "Where is he?"
He lifts his hand and nervously waves, you approach him awkwardly and waved too. "So you caught me."
"Why didn't you tell me you were here?"
"Well, you weren't in conditions for it."
"And what's the best condition?" He doesn't know how to feel, but being embarrassed is the first thing that gets the best of him as you saw it all.
"Maybe sober?" You shrugged your shoulders and sat down in front of him, his cheeks heated because he remembers talking to someone about how sorry he feels for the woman he loves. "You really don't know how to listen to me, huh?" He looks at you utterly confused but his heart flutters when you extend your hand to him. DeJun carefully grabs yours and lets out a shaky sigh like he has been holding his breath since you left.
"Y/N…"
"There's no need to explain further, I heard it all with hiccups and everything." You chuckle and caress his hand. "It was too extreme for me to return the ring, I'm so sorry for that. But I really thought a week alone would make us think if this relationship was going well and… I felt awful. I literally made you cookies twice and kept forgetting we were on a break. I am not sure how to ask this but, how did your week go?"
"I literally can't see because of how swollen my eyes are. Never do this again please I'm so annoyed I'm going to cry again."
"I won't I promise, I also can't see." You laugh and he looks at you, your sweet eyes lighten up as he stands up and kisses them both over the table as he mutters apologies again.
"Can you keep it as a secret what I did hen drunk?"
"You screamed my name but I loved it." XiaoJun groans and covers his ears as you laugh, he searches his pocket and give shou the ring.
He is never going to drink again but he makes you write on a napkin a promise to wear the ring everywhere.

Honey - part two
Elide Lochan x Lorcan Salvaterre roommates au
Tumblr media
A/N: I’m so tired yall have no idea. My eyes are burning and my fingers are cramping cause I’ve been writing all day to get this done, so yeah, I’m very satisfied and some of the blogs that I consider big or are big for a fact started following me and commented on the first part, so I freaked out a little, but I can tell that I’ll sleep peacefully tonight because of that, so thank you all. Enjoy!:)
Oh, and I almost forgot, the song at the end is called “Honey” and it’s by Johnny Balik (shoker, as my man Kieran would say)

Lorcan's least favourite day was definitely Friday, unlike all people his age. Not because he didn't like going out in the city at night to have fun and drink until you forgot even your mother's name, but because it was the only day of the week he had to work at both the shelter and the toy shop.
He loved working with the dogs and the few cats they brought in, and although he wasn't really a people person, he enjoyed spending time deciding with the kids and parents what was the best gift to go home with. And although Lorcan would never admit it out loud, he had grown fond of some of the regulars - especially a mother of three who he knew worked as a lawyer in one of the offices above the shop. Almost every day she would come in during her lunch break to buy one of those surprise sachets that cost a euro each and if Lorcan didn't see her coming before he went on his break, he would wait a few minutes before closing up just for her. Elide had managed to find out this detail a few months later after she moved in and he knew she would never stop teasing him because he had a heart of gold.
The phone vibrated in his hand just as he got behind the wheel and he wasn't at all surprised to see that the last message he had gotten was from Elide.
He huffed, not even opening yet another link that would surely send him to yet another website with information on why the world was ending very slowly and why humans were to be blamed entirely. He started the car and drove off towards their house.
Lorcan wasn't a bad person and he really cared about everything Elide was sending him, but he was tremendously tired and all he could think about was how much he wanted to take a shower and pass out in his bed. The fact that none of this was going to happen because Fenrys and Rowan had forced him to accept the invitation out to dinner made it all worse.
It took him less than ten minutes to get home and when he parked and saw the lights in their living room on, he seriously considered backing up and getting out of there to get to Vaughan's house before Elide noticed his car and he wouldn't be able to get away no more.
He was sure his friend would take him in without question if he asked to put him up for a night.
But luck was not on his side as Elide's petite figure appeared in the window and Lorcan could not see her face, but he knew she was smiling as she bounced and waved to greet him.
Despite everything, Lorcan raised his hand in turn and smiled back at her, knowing full well that even she could not see him so low and hidden by the evening shadows.
As he climbed the sixth flight of stairs and mentally prepared himself for two more, he could foresee the flood of words that would wash over him when he entered the house. Elide hadn't kept quiet for the entire day, sending him voice messages and staying with him on calls for the entire duration of his lunch break, so much so that at one point he had wondered if she had gone to class and then to work. He had discovered that yes, she had gone, but she hadn't paid the slightest attention to what they had explained and had gotten half the customers' orders wrong.
When he opened the front door, he recognized the melody of one of the songs she'd put on her apology playlist, the one he'd made for her nearly three weeks earlier after she'd found out he still smoked. She'd seemed so hurt that after he'd gone to bed and cleaned the tiles of his blood until they glistened, he'd stood at the kitchen table and spent hours and hours searching for the perfect apology songs. A bit dramatic perhaps, but it had had the desired effect.
He sighed, slipping off his jacket and putting it as far away from Elide's as possible, so that no animal hair would get on hers. He would clean it later.
The girl in question sputtered out of the living room with a beaming smile on her face, her cheeks strangely red and her eyes so bright they were glossy, "Hello, handsome."
"Hi, Ellie." he murmured, straightening his back and making the bones in his neck crack. Elide approached and Lorcan took a step back, bumping his back against the door, "I haven't showered yet," he put his hands forward to keep her at arm's length, "you can touch and hug me all you want later, but please not now," he begged her.
She gave the cutest pout he had ever seen, "But-"
"No buts, you can wait three minutes for me to wash up without dying," he continued, walking past her without touching her or making any overly sudden movements.
"You're such a pain in the ass," she complained, that adorable pout deepening all the more, "I can always take the antihistamine if I get allergies."
Lorcan shook his head, turning a confused expression on her, "I'd rather you didn't take medication just because you want to hug me."
It was true.
To their great misfortune, Elide was one of the very few people he knew who was allergic to animal hair. Any animal. More precisely, she was allergic to the mites that lived in the fur and the dust that accumulated in it in enormous quantities even on a normal basis. Given that the dogs Lorcan worked with were left to run loose in the fields all day, when he came home he was covered in anything that could kill his friend and roommate in one sniff and he didn't want to have to take her to the emergency room again because they couldn't tell if she was breathing properly.
It was why every night since he'd started working at the shelter he had taken a shower before doing anything else. It was why their water bill had gone up so much since they had found out about this allergy of hers.
"It's just a pill Lor, it's not like I have to get shots or..." she shrugged, as if to indicate anything more invasive than a simple pill.
He brought his hands in front of his mouth like a prayer, looking her in the eyes, "How many times do I have to explain to you that if you take one type of medicine every day, after a while your body no longer perceives it as an extra foreign thing to help you, but as the norm and so it no longer has any effect?"
Elide grimaced, "I hate you."
He chuckled, walking backwards until he reached the bathroom door, just in case she had the great idea to ambush him and jump on his back, "Just wait five minutes."
"It was three before," she said frowning, "And, speaking of showers-" and then she did something that made Lorcan freeze in his tracks. He didn't register what was going on until Elide's shirt was too high up for him to avoid seeing everything. And by everything, he meant everything.
"Elide what the fuck are you doing?!" he turned around, screaming, then his eyes went wide, trying to figure out if what had just happened was true or not. He squeezed his eyes shut, closing his hands into fists, biting his knuckles, "You're not wearing a fucking bra." he said in a voice sharper than he had intended.
He heard her giggle, but the sound came out muffled, "Loorcaaan." she crooned, "Help."
"I can't turn around Ellie, you're naked," he pointed out to her with his eyes still closed, then in a lower voice, "God, you're naked. What has gotten into you?"
He felt her move as she walked around him and stopped in front of him, "Help." she said in a flat tone. Lorcan had to laugh, her tone reminded him so much of the way the green aliens in Toy Story talked.
"Help what?" he asked letting out an amused laugh.
"I'm stuck." she said slurring her words and he felt her move, she was probably wiggling to get out of her t-shirt. And if she was wiggling, that meant her-
Lorcan took a sharp breath, cursing under his breath and trying to quiet his wandering mind.
He arched an eyebrow, though he was pretty sure she couldn't see him either, as doubt crept into him, "Are you drunk?"
Elide was silent for a while, then giggled like a child, "Just a little tipsy."
"Ellie it's seven o'clock," he exclaimed amused, but surprised to learn that she had been drinking, "why on earth are you drunk at seven?"
"Just a little tipsy," she repeated like a broken record. Then she screeched like a pterodactyl and Lorcan burst out laughing again, turning and taking a step or two forward to avoid risking accidentally touching her once more.
"Alright, why are you just a little tipsy at seven o'clock on a night when we're supposed to be going out with the others?" he asked now a little more eager to know the answer.
He heard her snort audibly, "The world is ending, Lorcan, why won't you understand that?"
He opened his eyes wide, not believing what she was saying, pinning them on the picture their friends had given them for Christmas, the one with all their best pictures collaged on a coloured canvas.
And here he thought he was the dramatic one of the two.
He nodded to himself, "So you're telling me that the reason you decided to get drunk before you even went out is because of global warming?"
He heard a rustle and then something hit him on the head, "Sorry, I didn't mean to slap you," she said in the tone of someone who couldn't care less about having hit him, "Anyway, yeah. Global warming and forests catching fire and animals dying and plastic burning..." she took a deep breath and then continued for a few minutes, making a list of all the things she had learned that afternoon by reading all the articles she could find about why humans were the worst living thing in the world.
Lorcan stood patiently listening to her, occasionally getting lost when she introduced topics that were a little too specific, but listen to her he did. The way she was saying all those things was always reminiscent of the little green aliens, but he knew the subject was more serious than it sounded.
With his arms crossed over his chest, he didn't think he'd moved too much, but at one point Elide sneezed and he cursed himself for not having moved fast enough to go to the bathroom.
"I told you you'd get allergies."
"But I didn't even touch you," she squealed back.
"You know that's not necessary for even your soul to start itching too," he scolded her.
Elide remained silent for a while longer, then started talking again, "And we should seriously get some glass bottles, if I see you with those stupid plastic bottles again I'll kill you. Scout's honor." she threatened him.
Lorcan chuckled, "Elide you've never been in scouts."
"How punctilious of you." she scoffed at him, then gasped, "We could buy matching flasks, with glitter and," she gasped again, sounding increasingly excited, "We could have one of our pictures printed on it."
A smile broke out on Lorcan's lips and he knew that if he had looked in the mirror at that moment he would have seen the face of a boy lost in love. He pulled himself together, straightening his back, trying not to think about how he felt about Elide. It wouldn't have done any good to admit that those feelings were real and tangible inside him.
He was staring at Fenrys' face in one of the pictures they had taken on holiday that summer, when Elide spoke again.
"This is a list of things that should make you understand why we have to shower together."
Lorcan choked on his saliva. He coughed a few times, patting his chest.
How had they gone from polar bears dying from melting ice to them showering together?
"What are you talking about?" he asked her in a squeaky voice.
The fact that she was alluding to them showering together while he knew she was half naked behind him, a breath away practically, made him feel so many different kinds of wrong.
"We can't waste water Lor, it's not hard." she sounded exasperated, then muttered, "Sometimes I really think you're being obtuse or stupid."
Lorcan's eyes went wide, "Wow, thanks Ellie."
"You're welcome." she chipped.
He shook his head, sighing and running a hand over his face, "Don't you think there are plenty of other ways we can start saving the world, before we have to shower together?" he took the fact that she wasn't answering as a cue to continue, "Like start recycling?"
Elide gasped again, making him chuckle, "Did you sign the petition?"
"Which-" he trailed off. She was talking about the petition to have a door-to-door rubbish collection service introduced in their town. Something that would force everyone to sort their garbage. "Yes, I signed it."
"Good." she whispered.
"I signed them all," he reiterated, because it was true and he knew that Elide never sent him stupid petitions, that whatever she sent him must be important and it didn't cost him anything to put his email and name on a website if it meant he could make a difference in his own small way.
"Thank you. I really appreciate it." she said in a weak voice.
Lorcan felt strangely uncomfortable all of a sudden.
And not because of the fact that Elide was naked behind him and had just confessed to wanting to shower with him, but because he would have wanted to turn around and kiss her, not do what any other guy would have thought of doing with a half-naked girl. No. Lorcan just wanted to kiss her and take his time in the process, savour the kiss and not be hasty and quick.
He wanted it to be slow and heartfelt, he wanted her to feel every single thing he couldn't say out loud.
"Lorcan?" she whispered, "I'm always stuck and I'm starting to get cold."
He blinked, "Yeah, you're right." then interrupted. They were silent a few seconds, "You really can't pull your shirt down?"
"No."
He took a deep breath. Then another.
"Okay, I'm going to turn around and keep my eyes closed, please stay still so I don't touch- anything. I'm not touching anything. I'll try to help you." he stammered, clasping his hands along his sides. She made a simple grunt of assent and he huffed, raising his hands in the air and lowering them slowly until he touched her head. He squeezed his eyes shut tighter and then released the elbow that had gotten stuck in her shirt.
"Yay." exclaimed Elide.
Sensing that she was moving freely on her own, Lorcan pulled away again and when the sound of clothes stopped, he asked, "Are you done?"
"Yes," she said singing.
His shoulder sagged a little and he smiled. He opened his eyes, ready to move Elide to the side and go take that holy shower, but whatever he'd thought when he'd asked if she was done must have been the exact opposite of what she'd thought, because Elide's tits were freer than ever between the two of them.
Lorcan grunted, slapping a hand over his face to cover his eyes, "What the fuck, Ellie. Stop flashing me, I'm begging you."
He heard her giggle and then a gust of wind and her laughter fading down the corridor let him know she had run off. He opened his eyes tentatively, peering through his fingers to make sure she wasn't still in front of him and sighed with relief when he finally managed to get into the bathroom and lock the door behind him.
He leaned against the sink, clutching the ceramic between his fingers and staring at his reflection in the mirror.
He never thought the first time he would see Elide's tits would be under these circumstances. He ran a hand over his face again, trying to somehow erase the image he knew he would never forget.
He had just stepped into the shower when he heard something very large and heavy slam against the door. Something that seconds later burst out laughing. Lorcan could only follow as he imagined a half-naked Elide running towards the bathroom and failing to stop in time.
"Are you alright, honey?" he asked her just in case. He turned on the water, hissing when he found it frozen, but not moving from under the jet. After all, a cold shower wouldn't hurt him.
"Let me in." she shouted, slamming her fist against the door, "Let me iiin!"
"Are you dressed?"
"No."
"Then you can't come in."
A scream of despair followed by what could only be a fake hysterical cry made him burst out laughing again, but then for a few minutes all that was heard was the sound of the shower and water falling from his hair.
"Ellie, are you still there?"
The answer came quickly, "Yes."
"Are you still naked?"
"Maybe." then he heard her move against the door and realised she'd been sitting on the floor.
Perfect, he was stuck in there. He reached for the phone and thought of something.
As he finished untangling the knots in his hair and washing out the conditioner, Elide was talking about how harmful the soaps they used were and had even gone so far as to say that they should both shave their heads so as to minimise their impact on the environment.
"What did you do today?" she asked him suddenly.
Lorcan didn't answer, dialling the number of a certain blonde girl who could help him out of this situation. Aelin answered after the fifth ring and Lorcan knew full well that she had done it on purpose, hoping he would hang up so she wouldn't have to talk to him.
"Hello?"
"Listen, something kind of weird happened and I need-"
"Who is this?" Lorcan arched an eyebrow, pulling his ear away from the phone to check the number. It was Aelin's phone. And the chick's voice on the other end was her, he was sure of it. "God, Lorcan, I'm fucking with you, what's up?"
"Funny," he deadpanned, "Elide's already drunk."
"What? But it's not even eight o'clock."
"I know, I came home and she was already like that."
A few moments of silence passed, "Okay, and what do you want me to do?"
"Well, she took her shirt off at one point."
Lorcan waited for a reaction, but Aelin didn't respond.
"And now she's naked in the hallway and blocking the bathroom door and-"
"She's what?" the friend burst out laughing.
"She's naked," he gritted through his teeth, "And she's blocking the bathroom door. I don't know how to get out and I don't want to open the door and push her off and risk hurting her. Is there any way you could come over here and help her? Help me?"
"I’ll make sure she'll never hear the end of it." Aelin laughed louder and Lorcan heard Rowan ask her what was going on. The blonde took breaths before saying, "Ellie flashed Lorcan and how he's stuck in the bathroom because he's afraid of a pair of nice-looking boobies."
"So are you planning on coming?" he asked before he completely lost his patience.
He imagined her wiping tears from under her eyes, "Yes, we'll be there in fifteen minutes."
"We?"
"Me, Ro and Fen. He's the one driving tonight and he picked us up."
"Okay," Lorcan murmured, "but they can't come up to the house."
"Why?" drawled Aelin, "Because you're jealous?"
He counted to ten, restraining himself from hanging up on her, "No, because this is going to be humiliating enough for Elide without two more of her friends seeing her half naked, so please just come up alone."
Aelin huffed, "You're right, but you're no fun."
They said their goodbyes and Lorcan put the phone down, starting to blow dry his hair.
"Lorcan."
"Lorcan."
"Lorcan."
Elide hadn't stopped saying his name for half a second throughout the call and it was starting to annoy him. Then he shook his head, no. He wasn't annoyed by Elide, it was Aelin.
That girl could get under his skin like few could.
"What?"
"You didn't tell me what you did today."
And Lorcan did, so that at least she would stop slamming her hand against the door.
He told her about the last man who'd come to see what dogs he could give his daughter and how he'd seemed so much like the guy who'd abandoned them on the side of the road after not even a week and it had pissed him off. He told her the morning had been even worse, because one of the children had started opening all the toys on display and his mother, who had been right next to him the whole time with her eyes fixed on the phone screen, hadn't stopped him and it had been up to Lorcan to tell him he couldn't do it. It was only then that the woman had realised what a mess it was and had simply apologised to him, running out of the shop so fast that he hadn't even noticed they had left. He had to call his manager and he was not exactly pleased to hear this story, but he also said that they would donate the toys to the church down the street, which was responsible for distributing them to kindergartens in the neighbourhood. That cheered him up a little.
By the time he had finished his story, Aelin had arrived and once he had taken her to her room. Lorcan could finally go out and get ready himself.
***
It was after midnight, the entire group was rocking out on the dance floor of their favorite outdoor club, a place called "The Wild Night" that was on the edge of town, closer to the forest than anything else, and normally Lorcan would have joined his friends to dance and sing, but there was a problem.
A big, huge, handsome problem.
And the problem was called Kyllian.
He couldn't figure out whose idea it had been to invite the boy with them that night, but whoever it was, this person's days were numbered, because Lorcan would kill them first and then use the limbs of their corpse to kill Kyllian.
Kyllian who had now been rubbing up against Elide for hours and who had offered her more drinks than stupid charming grins - and he really was reserving a lot of those for her.
"If you don't stop looking at him like that you're going to make his head explode," someone said, throwing themselves onto the small bench next to him.
He turned his head so fast he wondered how he had managed not to break his neck, "What are you talking about?"
Fenrys arched an eyebrow, "Even if you weren't staring at Kyllian like you wanted to see him disappear off the face of the earth, everyone here, including Elide," he told him with so much as a glare, giving him a slight shove, "would know that you're not really into what's going on on that dance floor."
"He's right," Rowan said to his left, sipping the drink of Aelin's she'd left him. When the hell had he sat there?
Lorcan didn't answer, remaining motionless with his sullen expression.
"I can give you a hand if you want," Fenrys murmured, sucking on the fuchsia straw sticking out of his equally pink glass.
He inhaled through his nose, "And how would you do that?"
"You have to trust me."
"Never." said Lorcan as Rowan said at the same time, "Don't."
Fenrys looked at them both with his mouth wide open and a hand to his chest, "I'm hurt." then finished what was left of the drink in one gulp and stood up abruptly, staggering a little, but holding himself up nonetheless. He cast a glance over his shoulder at the two boys still sitting, grinning, and Lorcan knew immediately what was going to happen.
"Ellie!" he shouted, turning more heads than necessary, "Love of my life!"
Kyllian pulled away from Ellie just enough for Fenrys to grab her hand and spin her around a few times until she burst out laughing and begged him to stop. The new boy didn't even seem to exist anymore as his best friend laced her arms around Fenrys' hips and rocked left and right, increasingly drunk.
Lorcan's heart clenched in his chest as he heard that sound so carefree, so happy.
He didn't realise he was smiling until Rowan cackled beside him, "God, you're fucked."
He didn't pay any attention to him and stood up, keeping his gaze fixed on her face.
He heard Lysandra and Aelin calling his name, hyping him up and threw them a real, quick smile that made them scream even louder, as if they were fans at one of his concerts. When he finally reached Fenrys and Elide's side, the blond spun her around ninety degrees and for a moment she closed her eyes, giggling, intoxicated by the amount of alcohol she had ingested, but when she opened them again and saw Lorcan standing in front of her, a smile as wide as he had ever seen it spread across her face.
"I'll leave you Ellie, you're in good hands," Fenrys told her, winking at him from above her head.
But neither of them even looked at him.
His eyes locked into hers as they both took a step forward and found themselves a caress away. Her chest rose and fell in an agitated rhythm. After all, she'd been dancing with everyone for hours, so much so that Lorcan wondered how she hadn't thrown up yet.
His gaze ran over her body, her bare shoulders, the line of her collarbones, and further down between her breasts. Breasts he'd had the chance to see for a millisecond a few hours before and remembered perfectly. The darker shade of pink that had characterized her-
"Lorcan."
He felt his heart pounding in his throat.
She had never said his name like that.
His eyes went up, sliding over lips so full, so perfect, up, over her nose and then up again, finding hers and the music changed, becoming slower, the lights dimmed as the strobes were turned off. Elide seemed to recognise the tune as her lips parted slightly, "Lor," she repeated. He raised a hand until his knuckles brushed her cheek and when she let go a shuddering breath, Lorcan began to sing under his breath.
"Tell me everything and hold no lies. Say you're waiting for better skies," he leaned forward as his other hand slid to her hip and Elide moved closer, until their bodies were fully joined to each other and one of her legs was between his and their hips were one thing moving in sync with the music. He felt Elide's breath against his neck and had to suppress a shudder when she too began to sing along with him.
"Oh, but honey don't taste like summer no more. Stick around now, I miss you every night,"
He lowered his head even more, brushing her nose with his own. The hand that had been on her cheek had slipped over her shoulder and was now tracing the path down her back, grazing the top of her bottom until it rested on her hip.
"Elide," he whispered, breathing on her lips. She closed her eyes, pushing herself up, towards him, and Lorcan held her tighter, moving his fingers over the exposed skin between her miniskirt and the black top she was wearing and there he was. Elide was there, with him, and she was so close to his body that he could feel the heart beating in her chest.
She was there and the next second... she wasn't. Because Elide had snapped away and was now vomiting on his feet. Lorcan held his breath as she was shaken by another gag and he had just enough time to take a step back that she threw up again.
The people around them quickly scampered away, creating a small circle of spectators and casting a quick glance at his friends he saw that they had a large audience. He just hoped Elide was too drunk to remember what happened the next day.
He looked down and grimaced, all sorts of emotions swirling inside him as the girl he loved clutched at him and puked her dinner all over his clothes.
He cursed at whoever decided how things went for breaking the best moment of his life with vomit and then gathered her hair into a loose ponytail, tying it with an elastic band he kept on his wrist specifically for these occasions.
He heard her whimper and put both hands on her shoulders, stroking her in circular motions to help her warm up. Aelin and Lysandra appeared next to them shortly after and when Ellie was firm enough on her feet to walk, they stepped over the pool of vomit and Lorcan wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pushing her towards the exit.
"Let's go home, Ellie."

"How was your date, Jungkookie?" Hoseok asks as he forks into his salad. Jungkook sits in front of Hoseok and Yoongi, while Namjoon and Jin sit off to either of his sides. Kook does a simple chuckle with his nose scrunched as he's digging into his fries.
"Good." He smirked.
"Oooh, Jungkookie has a girlfriend!" Hoseok laughed, causing both Namjoon and Jin to shoot looks at each other while shifting in their seats.
"No, but I hope to ask her out."
"Wait, like really ask her to be your girlfriend?" Yoongi chimed in, his gummy smile coming forth with a small high-pitched laugh. "How cute."
"Yeah, I want to. Not right at this moment, but I've already been planning on how to have this talk with her about being exclusive."
"Aw, our Kookie is growing up!"
"Shut up." Jungkook laughs. "I just really like her. She's beautiful, and smart and fun to be around."
"Are you seeing her today?"
"No, but I'm gonna hang out with her tomorrow. She has stuff to get done."
"Do you see her a lot?"
"A good amount, but I try not to suffocate her."
"Jin, you haven't said anything. What's up with you?" Jin looks up from his plate, eyes quickly roaming between all of them.
"Sorry, I just knew all of this already. It's nothing unexpected." He gives off a fake chuckle.
"Grace issues?" He shrugged.
"Sure, but this isn't about me." They nod and shift their attention back to Jungkook. Whew.
"Have you gotten her in bed?"
"Woah, Yoongi? What the fuck." Namjoon laughed.
"I'm just curious and we're always honest with each other right?" Joon shoots Jin a quick look before shaking his head at Yoongi.
"No." Kook chuckled. "I mean I don't care for it much. If she isn't ready to take that step with me then I won't force her."
"What a gentleman! Jin you taught him well." They laughed. Jin is reciprocating the energy with a small smile, as that's the best he can do right now. He didn't want this topic to come up only because he did already know how Jungkook felt about you. Yes, he felt bad, but also, he didn't want to let up on you. He wasn't going to, and Namjoon can easily tell he wasn't over you even though he told Jungkook to go for it. He hated having this silent competition. He knew his feelings for you were growing and he couldn't help but feel like a child over it.
I saw her first. I got her first. Me. Not you.
And so their conversation over an early dinner gets put to rest, Jin thanking God that no one pressed him more about Grace or why he truly wasn't saying much. They were all too caught up in Jungkook's feelings. All, except Namjoon. Jin gets to his classroom a little early to get himself together for class, gathering all his thoughts and feelings about you, Jungkook, Grace, etc., and pushing it to a far, far corner in his mind. At least, until class is over.
[Namjoon] 5:04pm: You couldn't be any more obvious.
[Jin] 5:05pm: What are you talking about now?
[Namjoon] 5:05pm: You're still seeing her. Or, let me rephrase - You're still trying to pursue her even after you told your brother to go for it.
[Jin] 5:06pm: It's complicated.
[Namjoon] 5:06pm: Seokjin, please. What did I tell you? Don't start this mess.
[Jin] 5:07pm: It'll be fine, okay? I appreciate the concern but stop worrying about me.
He sighs as he paces around the front of his room. The real reason as to why you weren't hanging out with Jungkook tonight was because of him. He needed to see you. Feel you. Touch you. Be close to you. There was also something he needed to bring up, hoping you'd agree to it.
Namjoon was right. The concern is valid. However, if things pull through the way Seokjin expects it to, then he knows what he has to do from there. He'll know how to approach this better. Hopefully.
Seeing you in class makes him feel at ease. He loves the little smiles you send his way when you both make eye contact. He just loves to look at you. Smiling and laughing with your friends. Your serious face when it's time to focus. He has it bad for you.
"Alright, class. Get those in to me on time by next week and I'll think about the movie." Jin laughs as the class has mixed reactions while packing up their things.
"But Mr. Kim it's a really good movie, don't you think we deserve a little break in class?" Taehyung whines as he picks up his bag.
"I always think you guys deserve a break, the movie though? Not sure if it's my cup of tea."
"Awww come on, just once." The class whined, making Jin laugh that adorable laugh he has. It was cute to see how adored Jin was by your classmates. He truly was a great teacher and made it a safe environment for everyone. Completely inclusive.
"I'll sleep on it. See you guys next week." He smiles and flashes a wink at a couple of people leaving the classroom saying their goodbyes. He stands at the front, his hands dug into his pockets as he looks at you and Ryujin coming down the steps - always being the last to leave.
"I'm counting on you, Mr. Kim." Ryujin says, flipping her hair.
"Counting on me for what?"
"The movie." She turns to look at you. "And other things." You shove her out the door before looking over at Jin, who hasn't stopped chuckling.
"You heard her." He nods.
"Pick you up in a few?" He asks, almost at a whisper. You return the nod and smile before walking out. You silently walk next to Ryujin, thinking about what tonight would be about. Not gonna lie, you were excited to be alone with him again, even if that meant being in his car, sitting in silence. The thought alone made you happy. The thought made you push through the day just to get to this point.
"Are you seeing him?"
"Yeah." Is all you respond to Ryujin with.
"Be careful, okay?"
"I know." Ryujin knew you weren't going to let up on Jin easily. She too, just like Namjoon, could tell that you had developed deep feelings for him, yet she just didn't know how you would approach it. Whatever it was though, she was going to have your back and be there for you. She just wished you had told the boys because handling you alone is work! Extra support would have been nice!
Getting home, you toss your things aside and start working on a few assignments until Jin is texting you that he's outside of your building. You feel a little nervous, as if it's a first date when it's really not. You step out of the elevator and into the lobby, just to see him ahead in the driver's seat. He has one hand resting along the wheel while he's scrolling through his phone in the other.
"Hey." You say as you hop into the passenger's seat. He puts his phone down and looks at you, his head tilted towards you and rested against the headrest.
"Hey pretty girl." He softly smiles as he leans over to kiss you on the lips. "Want some ice cream?" You laugh.
"Really?"
"Yeah, why not?" He begins to drive off, taking you to a nearby ice cream joint.
"How was your day today?" You ask him as he's roaming the streets looking for parking.
"It was alright. Went to work for a bit and met up with the boys for an early dinner before class."
"How was that?" He keeps his eyes on the road.
"Mm, good. I love sitting around and hearing about my brother's feelings for you." You chuckle at his sarcasm.
"You're dramatic."
"Call it what you want." He says. "It's still not fair."
"You can do something about it, you choose not to though." You straight up tell him. He parks his car and looks over at you, a small smirk plastered on his face.
"So, do you want me to do something about it?"
"Jin, please. Don't turn this on me. You're the one whining." You get out of the car. It was true. He kept talking about Jungkook and how he couldn't stand it, but yet, his ass was over here doing absolutely nothing. You expected that much though, because what? Was he just going to up and leave his fiancé because of a little jealousy? You honestly didn't think it was that deep for Jin. Maybe a little bit of a competition, but nothing too serious. And that was honestly the most painful realization for you.
You probably weren't worth it.
"I'm not whining, love. Trust me." You subtly roll your eyes at the weak comeback, but you don't throw in a rebuttal. Were you worth it? It was hard to read Jin sometimes. There were days where you felt like this could be more, then there were days where you felt dumb as hell for even having the thought cross your mind.
Like right now, you feel like this could be more with the way he's letting you taste his ice cream, his hand below your chin to catch any melting ice cream from dripping onto your clothing. He takes his cone back to his lips at the same time he's raising the napkin to the corners of your lips. You're both sitting in his car, overlooking the bay and the San Francisco skyline view in his back seat. There's a walking trail in front of the small lot his car is currently parked in, but no one is around. It's just you, Seokjin and your ice cream cones.
"Mmmm, thank you." You say gobbling up the last bit of your cone.
"You're welcome." He chuckles. "How was your day?" You shrugged.
"Same old." You fold your leg onto the seat while the other draped over it just so you could turn and look at Jin. You lean your head against the seat, watching him eat the last bits of his cone. You admired him, and you couldn't help but marvel at how absolutely breathtaking he was. The goddamn nerve. He was literally sitting there in a hoodie and jeans and you thought he was the most endearing thing.
"Sounds fun." He clears his throat as he tosses the napkin into the cup holder in front.
"Why'd you bring me out here?"
"I just wanted to see you. Is that too much to ask for?" He looked at you. "I missed you."
"You see me in class."
"It's not the same and you know it." He cocks his head to the side again to look at you. "Come here." He grabs your hand to pull you closer to him and leans in for a kiss. You rest your hand on his neck as you continue to kiss him back, the sounds of slow kisses being exchanged filling the car. You climb onto his lap as the kiss deepens, your hands gripping Jin's face while his warm, soft hands explored inside your sweater. "You drove me crazy the other night." He whispers as you slightly pull away.
"Good." You respond, bringing your lips back onto his, slowly grinding your hips into his.
"Fuck." He hisses. He quickly aids in removing your leggings before unbuckling his jeans. You feel his hardened member underneath his boxer briefs against your clothed folds, causing you to slightly tilt your head back in pleasure. You feel his hands travel up to your bra, unhooking it and raising your sweater to suck on your nipples freely. You feel his tongue working in circular motions on your hardened bud, causing you to let out a breathy moan. His eyes wander up to your face, slightly shutting close when he sees how much you're enjoying this. He moves to the other breast, his free hand cupping the one he had just removed himself from, tongue exploring your nipple. His hand moves down to aggressively hook your panties to the side, giving him room to swipe his fingers up and down your wet folds.
"Oh shit." You slightly jerk at the sensation, his long fingers taking their sweet time spreading your wetness all around your pussy.
"You're so fucking wet." He keeps his eyes on you and watches your eyes roll to the back of your head when he inserts two digits, pumping them in and out. It's incredibly hot to him how fucking wet you are, the sounds of your pussy now echoing in the car.
"Jin, ohhhhshit." You mewl. "I'm gonna cum." He continues to pump his long fingers into you, the feeling of both pain and pleasure radiating throughout your body. He curves his digits upwards, tickling your core to send you hurdling over the edge. You buck in your position from how hard the orgasm hits you, Jin's wet fingers swiping your folds and gently caressing your sensitive clit. You squeal, the overstimulation becoming a little overbearing but it feels so fucking good. You unbury his hardened member from his boxer briefs, letting your spit dribble down onto his cock as you play with the pre-cum pooling at the head.
"Oh fuck, Y/N. Don't do that shit." He tilts his head back in pleasure. You silently chuckle as you jerk him, getting his dick a little wet before hopping on and filling yourself up with it.
"Ugh, why do you feel so fucking good?" You moan as you fix your position onto him, slowly riding him and easing your way into it. You slip his two fingers into your mouth to taste yourself, his fingers still dripping from your cum.
"I-I've been wanting to fuck you so badly." He lets out a breathy moan. "The things you do to me."
"Yeah?" You say, picking up the pace as his hands guide your hips and direct your pace.
"Just like that, baby." He groans. You love when he called you baby. It made you want to give him all of you.
Your hands are resting on his shoulders, gripping tightly as you grind your hips in a steady motion. You cock your head back in pleasure, Seokjin's hands gripping your breasts. You begin to roll your hips slowly, a louder moan erupting from both him and you.
"I'mgonnafuckingcum." Your words mesh together, unable to speak clearly at how good he feels deep inside of you.
"You're so tight. God, you feel so good, gonna cum with you." Sooner or later, a roll of the hip or two in, your coil is spiraling out of control, causing you to yell Jin's name as you scratch onto his clothed shoulders, his fingers digging deep into your skin as he fills you up at the same time you're milking his dick.
His head slowly raises from against your chest, his cheeks tinted and eyes slightly glazed. He smiles up at you, his lips locking with yours once more before you climb off to clean yourself.
"Y/N." He says, tucking himself back in and getting himself situated in the seat.
"Hm?" You hook your bra back together and fix your sweater.
"I'm going to LA this weekend for a quick business conference." You furrowed your eyebrows, unsure why he was telling you this. It's not like you asked him for a daily play by play.
"Okay, have fun?" You chuckle.
"Meet me there." He looks at you. "I have to be there by Friday morning, but I know you still have work and school."
"Meet you.. in LA?" He nods.
"I really want you to. I'll buy your plane ticket. But also, know that I'm not forcing you." He slightly sighs. "I just wanna be able to spend time with you and do other things together besides fucking each other's brains out."
"Um," is all you can respond with. Because hell to the fuck yes you wanted this. But you weren't sure why you were hesitating? Maybe it was a big jump and you were scared of taking it? The lies you'd have to tell people about where you would be going this weekend? It was all such a mess. Such a huge, huge mess. Part of you also felt like this would be such an easy way for Grace to find out.
"You don't have to tell me your answer now but— just know it'll make me really happy to have you there with me." He looks at you softly, a small smile creeping at the corner of his lips. Perhaps, you were worth it.
