No you don't understand. It isn't about the action of buying bread.

The reason as to why the ladies have to be buying wonderbread is because of the capitalistic symbolism it provides. It's about the consumerist viewpoint of wonderbread, it isn't about the simple action of buying it. It's about the implications of the action has. Its about the company and mass production and the economics of it. It literally has nearly nothing to do with buying wonderbread itself and everything to do with the capitalist viewpoint that is then fetishized. THAT'S the reason as to why you see people fetishizing it. People get off to the capitalist symbolism of it, that these women are consumerist.

This isn't to diss them (I am into fat fetish stuff myself, I don't have any room to judge), but just to provide clarity on the situation.

If I were to write my own original superhero comic, I would use the 2:1 (and sometimes even worse) gender ratio but in reverse so that for every one male character, there’s two female characters. as reparations for all the male-majority superhero casts. There’s not even gonna be an explanation for it, they don’t have a matriarchy, it’s set in the modern U.S. My female-majority cast requires no explanation because no male-majority cast is asked if there’s an explanation behind them

Everyone talks about the wonderbread guy but nobody talks about how the wonderbread isn't necessarily the fetish object - it's supposed to symbolize like overcommodification or something. Like wonderbread is such a synthetic suburban concoction it implies wherever it is, that area has become gentrified and mown over by capitalism and this like caricature of commodification. That's why all the other pics the dude commissions are women (typically white and blonde) chopping down forests and stuff. The fetish isn't the bread. The fetish is this extreme caricature of earth and culture being consumed by the unstoppable force of like. Sterile Kroger marketability and commerce. Random rant but something that has bothered me and will never personally get over is how the 3D models be whitewashing the fuck out of Silver (and a lot of other characters for that matter)
