I don't know how I got into this fandom but here I am. I loved the fanart/fanfic of this show and I felt the nostalgia of watching this show (I was a PBS kid).

I spent the way back from the field trip trying to draw Dendy in a Worldgirl style. (Or how I think she would look like in the Wordgirl universe) It's... not nice, but considering I don't know how to draw and I was feeling bad in the back of a van, I think it's a decent first attempt. I want to keep trying to draw so I can get better at it.

Like the main villains are aware of each other’s existence but the side villains are all a huge group and are friends and it’s really wholesome I just-

Ao3 went down for a few ours during the summer one time, so when it did I just went to sleep and ended up having a dream where I was wordgirl, who was just having the worst time of her life.

First she ends up losing this group of kids in this summer camp that were villains, but like background ones, not important. Than it turns out that her dad is having an affair with the villain caretaker of the kids which is super traumatic and embarrassing for her.

Time skip, she's at school, and all the kids are making fun of her, so she decided to go die(tm). She goes into this mostly empty classroom with a teacher and a few kids, and transforms into wordgirl and leaves outing herself, but she doesn't really care. So she's walking down this street, and the mayor walks up to criticize her, to which she says she quits.

Then this meteorite almost hits the city hall, that's right in the middle of the neighborhood?, but they were remodeling, so the building was shorter. Then she keeps walking and ends up back in the summer camp from the beginning of the dream, wanders to the middle of the forest, and then I wake up.

I was semi aware that this was a dream

Worldgirl had a mental breakdown. I had a mental breakdown. God is dead.

Besides that, I do really like the character designs and I’ve seen out of pocket clips that make me giggle a bit, so I was like “why not?” And I think the fact Tobey has a funny voice that makes me laugh. It’s been queued.

I litteraly found my new favorite trope/ship trope by brainstorming... and the problem is, i don't know how to find any type of media(specifically stories) of that dynamic. I tried googling it, and i found nothing.

The ship dynamic is : narcissistic obnoxious Hero x depressed ass villain who's will to live is hanging by a thread (bonus points if there is a love triangle, and angst with no happy ending). Ofcourse, i want them.. well the hero to have a character arc.. and a bunch of angst

So if you manage to find a story like this, or even make a story like this let me know!
