Kazutora hates his surname with a burning passion. He hates that attachment to his father that remains, hates both sides of his families, he wants nothing to do with that name. In general, even when he's older, he hates for anyone to call him Hanemiya. He actively tells people to just call him Kazutora. He doesn't care about the honorifics and etiquette, he insists upon it. Using Hanemiya is an instant way to get him tense and aggravated at any age. He'll become stand-off ish and shut down to some degree if not completely.

Given the opportunity, he would absolutely want to be the one to change his name without hesitation. He would love to drop it and never have that weight with him again. It would be one more shackle that he's free from in his life. It's rather common knowledge how much Kazutora dislikes his surname, so it's no surprise, but it is just a weight he'd enjoy freedom from.

i hate that society really treats most young passions and interests that don't have the easiest careers to get into, as hobbies for you to have when you're older bc they 'aren't good enough' as jobs. or maybe its just me idk </3

fun fact: i have an entire hoard of various unrelated fics that involve at least one member of cp9 related in some way to another character

Being the dumb dumb that I am I decided to try and get my gameplay save to work again one last time.

Long story short, game got stuck in an infinite loading screen after I spent 3 1/2 hours in CAS getting all my Sims ready and I really need some fucking vacation from this shit

Thinking about how in The Horse and the Infant there’s a secondary beat that starts to play after he brings up Penelope and Telemachus, drops off once the other soldiers pick up in the background again (or becomes covered by the rest of the score and I can’t pick up on it as easily?) but then returns and stands out even more strongly against the rest of the music after he screams in pain and Zeus explains the vision. It drops off again while Odysseus is asking what threat an infant could pose, then comes back when Zeus is explaining he has to do this or his people will die/Ithaca will be in trouble (with another focus on Penelope) and it mimics the sound of a heartbeat

#epic the musical #personal #it mighttttt be present for the entire song and I just am unable to pick up on it due to the general strength of the instruments prior to #when the music softens for Penelope and then changes again for Zeus and his appearance #so if it IS in the entire song and I just can’t pick up on it that’s also incredibly neat since it shows his heartbeat in battle #but I /think/ it starts when he shows the vulnerability of longing for home?#it drops off or gets muffled when he starts to sing with the soldiers again #and comes back after he screams and #drops back off right before the music changes to introduce the baby?#I’ve listened to that like minute and a half stretch of song about 15 times trying to pick up the secondary beat so again I’m not sure #if it’s actually there or if my brain is filling in the beat for me since I’m trying to listen for it so many times in a row #and it goes bum. bum bum.#bum. bum bum. over and over #it REALLY just sounds like a heartbeat to me and it would make sense considering he’s singing about his wife and son #then in pain and urgency for the beginning of the vision introduction #UPDATE it comes back into focus again when Zeus is explaining why he has to kill the baby #so once again a huge sense of urgency and vulnerability there #will probably try to think about this more when it is not past 4:30 am #so I can listen for it in the symphony of other instruments and elements better

#like. hes one of the highest paid players in the prem. but he grew up knowing when his mum got paid bc of the quality of food in the house #he drives an aston martin. but he knows his way around manc walking bc he didn't want the club revealing to the other boys where he lived #he has a penthouse in manchester but he prefers to sleep in that tiny bed at his mums house when he's there #he's making well over 8 figures a year but he feels wary spending more than he needs on food and other nonluxuries #he loves luxury clothing. but he still wears the dsquared2 stuff he got for free at city #he would drop 10k on a friend in a heartbeat but spending 1k on himself is hard #he wears the same necklace over and over bc he found one and he likes it and he doesn't see the need to have a ton #he doesn't look at his bank account bc the number in there is too high to comprehend for him #he has a nike deal and gets boots/clothes for free (and wears them!) but every pair of boots he wore in his childhood were hand me downs #he absolutely has never set foot in a waitrose #his counters are bare of equipment/appliances #he's so afraid of everything he has suddenly disappearing
