ok so Jianzhu... ahhh Jianzhu... ((SPOILERS for anyone reading the Kyoshi novels))

This is Jianzhu and also like... probably one of maybe 4 canon images/art there is of him... he's not from the original cartoon he's from the Avatar Kyoshi spin-off novels that take place abt 400 yrs before the events of the show (idk how much you know abt atla lore from osmosis so this might get a little tedious? I'm just gonna explain as succinctly as possible.)

To be brief, he's a cunty old man. But unlike when I call, say, Minhkhoa a cunty old man it's not really loving ... its more like... I love to hate him. He's a REALLY good villain.

He's a politician. He made 500 people dig their own graves and then buried them alive. He beheaded his friend of like 20+ years. He drugs and kidnaps teenagers. etc. It's great.

His whole character arc is like... He's in control. You start off the book and he is very clearly in control, and he knows what he's doing, and he even sounds halfway reasonable sometimes but over the course of the novel he gets more and more desperate to grab hold of a situation that spirals wildly away from him and you get to watch it happen. His justifications for his actions get crazier, he gets sloppier and sloppier with his murders....

OH also you know how sometimes people think Bruce is some callous asshole who was only using his adoptive son who worshipped him as a weapon, and when he died he quickly sought to replace him without remorse ? Yeah he's like that but. Like actually this time. His dead adoptive son also then comes back after eating an eyeball in the spirit world (idk) and kills him by pressing a pebble through his sternum so. More successful than Jason at patricide I'd say. Look there's a lot I didn't cover, here's his wiki.

Important required reading before I explain this ship is this post. What you have to understand about Zuko is that for basically like... 40 episodes the only person he shares significant screen time with is his uncle so when him and Jet met in s2 and had a decent 3 episodes worth of interactions ... it was enough, lets just say that.

The basic Jetko timeline is they meet on a ferry while Zuko and his Uncle are disguised as refugees and they steal food together -> Jet tries to get Zuko (who he only ever knows as "Li") to join his emo band gang which Zuko refuses -> Jet sees Uncle Warcrimes heating his tea and correctly deduces that they are firebenders (ie not who they say they are; the enemy) -> Zuko and his Uncle work in a tea shop while Jet stalks them and steals things from their house and watches them from behind clotheslines (yeah) -> Jet confronts them in the teashop, sword fight, Jet gets arrested and brainwashed by the secret police (yeah) -> Jet dies under a lake which Zuko only finds out about a season later.

So they never had the 4 years of intense homoerotic cohabitation that ghostbat had,.. their chemistry and potential are pretty much instigated by a few of Jet's weird intense lines, such as "As soon as I saw your scar I knew exactly who you were - you're an outcast, like me." And the crux of the ship is like.. Jet both does and doesn't know who Zuko is.

He knows he is also angry and restless, like himself - he knows he is running from his past, like himself - and he knows he is going to Ba Sing Se to create a new identity. These things are all true, for both of them; what Jet doesn't know is that Zuko is from the imperialist nation that brutally murdered his parents and invaded his home and he incorrectly assumes that the anger he recognizes in Zuko stems from the same need to enact violence on those who have taken everything from him.

So I guess the "thought you were exactly like me but then I found out you're not which enrages and humiliates me so know I'm going to beat the shit out of you" thing from BTK no. 6 is something they share with ghostbat but.. Jet's anger is probably a little more justified than Minhkhoa's lol...

In conclusion it's your basic "doomed relationship/they work great together but that doesn't fix anything" ship premise. It used to be more popular back in the day... pretty sure I owe my life to maybe 3 different Taiwanese/Chinese doujin artists from 2009... yeah that's the gist of it.

Ok, so, for some context about this whole trip, my hotel in Greece was on the same street as not one, not, two, not even three, but five strip clubs and a sex store. The nearest one was exactly ten feet from our hotel and called The Kinky Opera. Naturally, I thought this was the funniest thing in the entire world so it became an ongoing bit between me and my friend that The Kinky was our homestead. Every night we got back late and tired, I would see the Golden arches of the kinky and I would cheer. Anyway, I was very adamant that we had to go to The Kinky Opera before we left Greece so, on our last night there, we finally went.

I went with my (only lol) friend on the trip and she’s very much extroverted like I am so I figured we’d have no trouble waltzing in there but the second we actually entered, she became really nervous and was like “Jess you need to lead, you’re the expert” even though I have never been to a strip club in my life and, up until a year ago, had a crippling fear of nudity. Anyway, as the newly elected expert, I went up to the little cashier stand they had (before you actually entered the club) and I was like “two for the kinky please ✌️” and there was an entry fee of 10 euro + a free drink! So we paid our entry fee and we turned to where there was a very buff man in front of the door in a polo that said ~the kinky opera~ in cursive on the pocket and I cannot BELIEVE to this DAY that I didn’t ask if I could buy one, and he said “let’s go 😏” and opened the door for me and my friend.

Inside, the kinky was very beautiful. It had chandeliers and very nice couches and a new worker (who was clearly in his late 20s but looked like a teenager), that me and my friend called Toddler for the rest of the night, escorted us to our little special booth in the back of the club.

Then, Toddler asked us “what would you ladies like?” meaning drinks. My friend ordered some drink I can’t remember the name of (that she said ended up being very good!). Now, I don’t drink alcohol so I wanted to get myself a little soda pop, so I replied, “coke! 😀” in my very eager, very Jess way.

He then repeated “COKE?” with this exact expression.

and I said “yes! coke!” (still eager, still Jess).

Toddler looked at me in utter alarm for a few more seconds before he said “okay!” and turned to walk away. it wasn’t until he had gotten a few feet that he paused, looked like something dawned on him, and came back to ask “wait, like the cola?!” and I said (still eager, still Jess) “yeah! 😀” and then he had to turn away from us and cover his face to laugh really hard for several seconds. And the entire time he laughed, I sat there frozen like 😀

and then he turned around and said (in his beautiful Greek accent) “you cannot call it such a thing in a place like this. Because we have both ✌️”

And that is the story of how I accidentally ordered cocaine at a Greek strip club

oughughhguh chatting w/ moon about potential muse dynamics and making myself cry as i realize that byan, for all they hated being stuck with foster families, loved having younger siblings in their lives. they LOVE being the coolest person in the world to someone who's younger than them, and honestly?? they love looking after younger kids, too.

also crying bc i'm realizing they especially loved having younger sisters, in part bc it was the perfect excuse to do & enjoy things that were considered "girly" or otherwise "too feminine" when they were less sure of & less comfortable in their gender and/or when the environment wasn't particularly accepting of an amab kid loving pink & glitter & wanting to wear skirts

Yesterday my oldest sister and i were talking and i was saying how im worried about the school year because of my brace. She said “just tell them ‘do you really wanna be known as the kid who mocks disabled people?’”

And it clicked. That my disabled sister considers me to also be disabled. And i asked her “is it really okay for me to use that word for myself?”

She told me with confidence, “chronic pain IS a disability. You are allowed to call yourself disabled. No one would say thats not allowed.”

So i think im gonna start being more confident in myself. I think ill start saying it out loud. Maybe not at home just yet, but at school ill try it out. It feels right, and i honestly dont know why i was doubting myself so much. So, as of august 14th (i dont care its the 15th i had to think), im gonna start calling myself that.

Bojan does fashion shows and Jere stares with heart eyes. Bojan is also the one that sends a million pictures of their new stage fits and for someone with a pretty limited ability with the english language, Jere sure does come up with a LOT of compliments.

21.Which of their friends/family pokes fun at them for them getting flustered/affectionate?

For Bojan, all of Joker Out. There are different flavors, but they all find great fun in the way Bojan gets flustered so easily(especially when Jere's around). Jere is also fully aware of this and doesn't mind when his boyfriend blushes like a schoolgirl. Kris is, however, Bojan's #1 bully[affectionate]

Jere himself embraces it when someone tries to poke fun at him when he's being affectionate. His default answer is "yes i kiss and cuddle my boyfriend. and?" which takes a lot of the fun out of it for the (loving) bullies. Thus Elina moves on to bully Bojan because his reactions are more fun.

Mikke will groan and roll his eyes whenever he sees too much PDA, but it gets less and less serious as time passes.

27.Who would propose? What would their wedding be like? 

Now this one os a headache of mine. Because I know for sure they'd both plan on it, it's more about who manages to do it first(probably Jere because Bojan is a little ball of anxiety and would take too long to try and think of every possible outcome, while Jere's more like "it's a yes or yes question we WILL get married")

I feel like their wedding would be quite small and intimate. The closest of family and friends. Not a "rustic romantic" type of barnwedding but something a bit more modern. They'll leave the tull and jute cord details and lantern centerpieces to someone else.

But it would be in two parts. The "official" one in Finland, and then a second party in Slovenia. Mainly because not everyone can make the trip between the two countries.

Trying to call out for Ortega but they didn’t show up, the helplessness when they realized they had to deal with something this big and scary on their own—could have ended up with an outsider scar just as easily as the hunger one, felt quite small and abandoned in that moment and she was angry.

Make her feel safe! And be confident borderline cocky on just about anything you love (maybe that’s being reckless in a fight or talking teleportation guns haha)

Turn off—assuming they know what she wants, ordering her around, or just being all too touchy (she can stand it more with people she can read easily, wouldn’t snap at a befriended Daniel but would at Julia)

He could see himself as heartbreak—felt so much empathy for the poor girl, couldn’t imagine any person who could have the heart to do that to someone and it pissed him off. Could have easily gotten a revenge scar instead of the outsider. Likes to think heartbreak didn’t realize how many people they were hurting…

They are a people pleaser! And they enjoy it! They come off as friendly! A sweet guy! Not really a charmer—but more a guy you would feel safe to ask to hold your drink. They do not have to use their telepathy and they try not too, esp to influence regular people.

The only thing coming to mind is healing. I think it would fit him well.

Staying out of tales of arise Anything bc I think I do want to experience this game organically bc those plot twists hit me like a fucking TRUCK.

I did look up an estimate for how long the game is tho. I'm at like 30 ish hours and if you focus on plot alone it's like some 40 hours. But I have been doing side quests lol so it probably isn't even 10 hours remaining.

A Little scared of how things will be after this point tho. The Vibes will definitely have changed. And oh God I just want to hold Alphen so tightly. He doesn't deserve this.
