Summoner potential is endless. You get an influencer who has perpetual tiktok voice and everyone considers it to be an accent (it... could be considered one?). And maybe with the right combination of magic and machinery (from Reginn's homeland) they can continue to do what they do. You get a Christian missionary who considers it "Part of His Plan" that they've arrived here to "Do The Lord's work and spread the good word" (this probably has extreme political repercussions whether they are well-meaning or deeply evil using this as a revenue for power/control. It's a whole ass historical domino effect). You get a conspiracy theorist with an INCREDIBLY skewed perception of the world, so whenever any Hero asks Anything about that Summoner's world, you're just getting bunk information. Net-negative information. Summoner, who when the Miriel FBs took place, believes the moon landing was faked and that the earth is flat. You get an evil politician and the Order just kills them within a week and goes back to the drawing board (self indulgent scenario. More compelling hypothetical would be the Order being forced to work with that guy, much like the fallen Heroes, becomes a whole ass political drama. Also might depend on how evil the politician is though, sometimes you do just have to make it look like an accident). You get the opposite end of political radicalization where this Summoner is disenfranchised and among many things is anti-monarchy, making all the royals and nobles within the Order's ranks a bit uncomfortable. You get Jerma985
#fire emblem#feh#this isn't me starting any discussion of any politics mentioned in the post. btw. this is just me goofing off LMFAO#but like yes isekai is a wish fulfillment genre in most cases (and like! i'm def not immune LMFAO)#so it's easy to see why you get blank slates or 'everyman' types (said everyman just being a reflection of the target demographic)#not saying any of that is inherently bad and not even saying that it's always true! but broadly speaking ect ect#all that in mind. i think there's a wealth of untapped potential. for things to either get#one really silly two go HORRIBLY WRONG or three just be fascinating to watch unfold.#honestly i think it could be really fascinating to see an isekai type story where the protag is a missionary.#a lot. of ways for that to go wrong depending on the beliefs of the person writing it.#but as a comedy and study into the mindset of it and the political ramifications. would be fascinating.#but even if it is blatant propaganda then you have a whole other study/think piece on your hands#these ideas are extremely funny to me as concepts but unfortunately not something i'd feel compelled to pursue LMFAO#but i do think about it as a concept. and the concept is just extremely funny to me#summoner oc#? if. you want. feel free to take any of these concepts and run LMFAOO#fe kiran#the representative of the summoners. ceo of summoners. adjacent enough to file this under here#fe summoner

The Snape fans are currently whining about the fact that Papa Essiedu is playing him. They're claiming that the reboot will make him unrecognisable or whatever 🙄
I just hope that they handle the race issue properly because there could be troubling implications about SWM because there'd be a racial angle to it (the Snape stans are saying that it makes Harry being a wizard cop that much worse {he hunts dark wizards not dark skin and also, not everything's about America} and Marauders stans are saying that a so called 'incel' shouldn't be played by a white man).
This is just so delightful to me, on my list of worst Harry Potter subfandoms the Snape stans easily take the second spot (only beaten by Marauders stans). Snape is an iconic character, i'm glad a black man is lucky enough to play him, good for him and fuck everyone else.
#replies#sweetdelusionwombat#it's so annoying to me that every time a black person gets cast for a white character we have to think about *the racial implications*#look British society is just not what it looked like in the 90s demographics have changed#it's not that deep. Snape can be black with no 'implications'. it's not gonna change the character and it doesn't have to.#you know why? because the premises for why said 'implications' would be bad are already wrong#it's not bad for a black man to play an incel because Snape isn't one#also even if he were black men can be incels so??#it's also not bad for Snape to be black because Harry becomes a cop#because Harry doesn't become a cop#also Snape is dead when Harry becomes an Auror#ALSO Harry doesn't become an Auror on screen??#like this entire thing is a mess lmao why even care

i'm gonna be the one insufferable bastard on this earth that liked everhood 2, huh
#my posts#everhood 2#everhood 2 spoilers#if i get right down to it. what did i want from this game?#well i wanted more BANGER music. i wanted to be overwhelmed and surprised and lost and to feel shrimp emotions on existential scale#did i get these things? well... yeah! i did actually! were they worth anything less in that moment for how it ended?#it was real to me in that moment. i remember these feelings. i remember them warmly. those little aliens destroyed me i tried so hard#and the world where i got the green weapon had me making the crying cat meme face#i burst out fucking laughing many times#they happened and they were real then so why not now?#and honestly what COULD you do with the narrative at that point? anything less than fundamentally radical would ring hollow#like you could do a traditional plot that functions correctly and moves characters along arcs. but is that REALLY what you wanted?#in EVERHOOD? In everhood. you wanted a normal plot structure. in everhood?#and what else could you have even done that wasnt in essence rehashing everhood 1? i think i liked it better than where it was ALMOST going#it felt like a fever dream to play. like watching alice in wonderland. shit just happens man. these stories are rare#we've made the euthanasia rollercoaster into a fractal. spiral tighter run faster reach higher yearn forever.#fall into the kaleidoscope and grab your popcorn to watch the infinite combinations of static on the screen#you were there. you felt things. you can draw anything out of nothing. you can send everything back to nothing. for the love of god make ar#any art. any quality. just something that was real to you in that moment and in so doing forever. if someone tells you youre doing it wrong#then you should explode with your mind and in your art and LAUGH#apathy's a tragedy and boredom is a crime anything and everything all of the time#(its fine to dislike it i just found it fascinating in a way which is often more interesting than ''good''.)#(i live for the intersection of absurdity and meaning)#also i felt closer to the companions in this game than EH 1 since you spent more time in them#also cmon we got time with the sexiest character in the foreign gnome universe. the pandering one for a CERTAIN demographic. w big assets.#THATS RIGHT IM TALKIN ABOUT IRVINE BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!#you thought i was gonna say someone else? well tough shit. youre wrong.#anyway my main quibble with this game really was the english translation needed more time to cook for real

WHERES MY BOY WHERES MY GUY RADIOOOO#okay anyways#i only watched the first 2 episodes of s3 but damn its just like so good at the tone#so good at being sweet but serious when it needs to be#so good at showing healthy communication methods in a way teenagers can practice#and just like saying that hey. your partner is struggling with something and you arent responsible for fixing them cuz you literally cannot#do that and you are literally 16 theyre gonna need much more than this#and this is a part of growing up and having your relationships mature like you will have to go through shit like this together sometimes#and its a lot but you can still show love and support without straining yourself it just takes practice and patience#im so glad a show like this exists for teenagers cuz damn i havent seen anything be this good for that specific demographic in uh#like ever? something thats so good at acknowledging that teenagers have these problems or drink or have sex#without doing some euphoria bullshit#just tows the line so well

I could write a whole ESSAY about how broadway wouldn’t be a thing without Jewish men escaping hate through art and why that makes Harmony SO important but I don’t think the American Theatre Wing is ready for that.
#harmony musical#chip zien#might be a controversial take please don’t cancel me#broadway#musicals#theatre#just give Chip Zien a Tony Award please#I’m BEGGING#I’m not saying it with my chest just incase it reaches the wrong demographic

LMAO got curious on the replies on that poll... "no i dont like it bc i dont like the word 'rizz'" "I dont like gen alpha slang" ok you sound like a crybaby boomer you're scared of new words right now you look so silly. sorry
#I'm getting increasingly less patient with people who hate anything just because its gen alpha#THEYRE KIDS!!! FUCK YOU!!! YOURE BEING MEAN TO KIDS! congrats youre making fun of a demographic who cant defend themselves yet#congrats youre continuing these awful generational cycles#you dont have to like it but dont actively dislike it you look like a fucking boomer#oh wah you cant stand the word rizz. I'm sure your generations slang made absolute sense and never ever sounded silly#or stupid to previous generations#hating kids isnt cool hating new things isnt cool you just look lame and stunted#its so pathetic! sorry! the lack of self awareness. the entitlement. it pisses me off#why do people need to be needlessly mean why do people need to insist theyre good and right#and everything else is wrong and stupid all the time GET A GRIP#rant#IM ALWAYS SAYING THIS BUT VALUE EXISTS OUTSIDE THE SCOPE OF YOUR PERCEPTION REMEMBER THIS#try new things or you will never grow. at least accept that new things are okay

im about to say something racially motivated so watch out
black american women are my favorite people on the planet.
i just saw a video where an artist is painting publicly in what i assume is a tourist location and she recorded a bunch of strangers' reactions when they pass by and see it and its good vibes all around just in general. old white men telling her its beautiful, old white ladies telling her its beautiful, latinas/latinos telling her its beautiful, and then the black american women come strolling in like "DID YOU DO THAT? NO THE FUCK YOU DID NOT! LOOK AT YOU! NOW THIS IS TALENT. NO FUCKING WAY. YOU ATE DOWN BITCH." just endless loud gushing and making this artist feel like shes an honest to god celebrity merely by being excellent in public.
when a black american woman is giving you a compliment, its like she takes your head in both of her hands and forces you to maintain eye contact while she runs through all your best features that even you didnt realize you had until you walk away feeling like you just had a brush with god
and its not even unusual at all. the amount of times i see a black american woman throwing a whole mini party for someone just for one tiny thing is insane. you're wearing a cute outfit? a black american woman is gonna let you fucking know. youre displaying any skill whatsoever? a black american woman is your impromptu cheerleader for a few minutes. youre in trouble and need help? a black american woman is the first to step in.
and black american men arent far behind them. one time a black dude said he liked my shoes and im still riding that high 4 years later. when a black american gives you a compliment, it feels like you just got handed an award. not because their opinion is more valuable than everyone elses but because they are so good at making you feel good about yourself. its authentic and sometimes jarring because they dont let anything get in the way of them and delivering a compliment they mean deep down in their soul. and then they walk away and probably forget all about it while you replay it in your head for years to come when you need a boost in confidence.
im so envious of this ability. all my compliments are said with the most nervous and overly polite tone you ever heard in your life and it never lands the way "you look fucking hot as shit" from a black american woman does. PLEASE TEACH ME HOW TO GIVE COMPLIMENTS LIKE YOU IM SO ENVIOUS. like do i just need to get hot and confident? i feel like nobody would want a compliment from me because i look like i dont have my life in order. BUT if a black american woman who looked like she didnt have her life in order complimented me it would probably still make my whole day WHAT MAGIC IS THIS AND HOW DO I GET SOME IM FURIOUS

#dont come for me for this#i know its fucking embarrassing to be a fucking fanboy for a huge demographic like theyre a monolith#but ive yet to be proven wrong about this#so until then yeah im generalizing#all black usamericans are better at giving compliments than any other demographic ANYWHERE#non americans dni unless you are agreeing with me

I do not understand the insistence of people going on a character tag and then posting their weird negative thoughts and vibes about them in the tag not even in a critical lens or engaging in literary analysis just straight up ‘I don’t like them I don’t know why people do’ and then saying it MUST be because of something deficient in the fans of said character and reaching the back breaking conclusion that they’re (some negative connotation). You can just not like them you don’t need to craft a very real societal phenomenon that doesn’t even fit this and isn’t all-encompassing to what is essentially you just not liking a jpeg.
#like why are you posting your crappy opinions and then admitting you didn’t even see the source material???#I love blocking people cuz what the fuck was that lmaooooo#“he must be only liked cuz he’s white and his fans must be-“imma stop you right there buddy#you can just not like him or vibe with him idk why I’m suddenly a part of this#it is really not that serious most of the time like why must there be something ‘wrong’ to go with your opinion#especially when I’m a part of the demographic you’re supposedly tryna speak for like no. don’t speak for me#anyways remember folks just have a good time and always use the block button we love that here#also just. etiquette??? why post that on a tag of a character I don’t get that truthfully#I thought that was a well known thing like don’t go on the character tag of the character you hate???

Saw the Minecraft movie. I liked the funny moments but the plot was such a snooze fest. It’s the kind of movie you have to turn your brain off for and I kept thinking the whole time so you best believe I wasn’t super stoked about it
#non mcyt#a minecraft movie#I am the wrong audience for the movie <- is the target demographic#like phil said. don’t pay money for it. watch clips of it online. I am tired#arah post

The author has clearly made a mistake in not fulfilling the entirety of @lanoste 's precognitive dream where Black Haze came back with a different art style and Lanoste on the cover, so I have taken it upon myself to rectify this matter.
#black haze#remake#new bh#lanoste#my post#meme#literally no one asked for this#but I just had to#that everything else happened besides this one part kept bothering me#so watch me spend an hour making a bogus cover that's still wrong bc that's Lanoste from the old version looool#but since we haven't seen him in the new version this was the best I could do#so I have entirely erased my hero from the cover I hope Lanoste fans are very happy now#too bad so much of the background went with him thanks to Lasnote's big dominating pose#but I assume that would be the opposite of a problem for the target demographic ye

Bi culture is not relating (for me, it's also being irritated) to any 'bisexual stereotype' like 'bisexual sitting pose', 'finger guns', 'frogs', etc.
I'm a bi who doesn't fit in these stereotypes, and constantly seeing them on social media makes me just feel awkward (?). Like, no, I'm sure not all bisexuals are like that, what do you mean? I personally, due to my back problems, sit straight (and even without them, I would cause it's comfortable), absolutely hate frogs, am not a 'golden retriever man' (or w/e is that), etc. Not seeing bisexuals who don't fit in the stereotypes is a bit (a lot) appalling, since there are zero bisexuals in a place where I live, so that's why I try to find them online... soo, any bisexuals who don't fit into the stereotypes?
April 12, 2025.
#bi culture#bi#bisexual#biromantic#god yeah the arbitrary 'bisexuals love iced coffee' 'non-binary people love frogs' type stuff is so weirdly annoying to me#and when the same random thing (e.g. liking frogs) is attributed to seemingly every demographic ever...#at some point you have to consider the possibility that Maybe Frogs Are Just In Right Now#maybe this isn't a bisexual thing or a lesbian thing or whatever but simply a Fashion thing or a Your Social Circles thing#and like it's perfectly normal & ok to be annoying. everyone is annoying to someone no matter what#and there's nothing wrong with these sorts of jokes in themselves! i enjoy them myself plenty when i'm in the mood#but it's really frustrating when you're looking for connection & community & all you get is shallow stereotypes

My 9 (2009) hot take is that it isn't more fondly remembered because the ending kinda sucks. This is what happens when you aim a movie at odd children and then kill off all the main characters but act like your ending is happy because you're just ignoring their individual personhood and then assuming your audience won't on some level notice.
#original#why must your movie end with the sock people being put back in the proverbial box?#why must we revert to the old form of life rather than revel in the new#maybe it's because I was on the outer edge of the target demographic when it came out but it rubbed me the wrong way

I’m not trying to be a hater but when ppl self insert as like…a poc character’s sibling…do they envision themselves as that ethnicity or do they change the character’s ethnicity like I am deeply confused 😭
#riv rambles#both feel….inherently wrong to me skdjdjahd idk#unless it’s adoptive/found family yeah ofc it’s different then#but like….being blood related to a character that’s meant to represent a certain demographic just feels#IDK#idkkkk#Perhaps I should not think so deeply into it#can someone help me to understand 😭

Reblog for bigger sample size maybe? I really wanna know!
Watching tv, u grow up feeling like everybody starts dating in highschool at the latest and that that's what's supposed to happen, but it's really so different for everyone. I now know plenty of people in their 20s who have never dated anyone.
(Tbh I don't hang out with many people older than me so I haven't heard much from those demographics yet (I'm 22))
Also please tell me about your first date and/or first partner! If u want to :)
#i know 40s and up is a very large demographic#but considering the average ages of people on this site and the average ages that people begin to date#i thought it'd make sense to do this way#cause y know the 40s and up category will probably have very little votes#or u could prove me wrong ig#poll#dating poll#polls#im dating someone for the first time now at 22#they were my first date too and my first kiss#we've been friends for half a year and were already saying i love you before we started dating haha#we actually went on a date a while ago and i said i didn't have romantic feelings for them#i was wrong <3
