Started this on June 11 2022, five minutes before midnight, inspired by Little Mix's "Salute" and its message of girl power of all creeds ("Get your killer heels, sneakers, pumps, or lace up your boots") Worked, and worked, abandoned, and now... March 5th, 2024 I have finished it. I feel accomplished, finally free and excited to share.

My biggest ambition was to have two versions: one of my Diane, my personal ideation of the Commander. Representing the strategic brains and power behind the entire resistance, my idea of the "killer heels" of the dynamic since I hc her to have many pairs. The other version was to be the female Avatar to present a placeholder for any one person's female Commander during the final battle (and to me, it's still Diane and calling back her roots as a Marine in her youth, a nod to "she's still got it.")

Everyone should be able to recognize Lily and her engineering genius, and of any front line soldier (my favorites here shown are Thérèse and Jane Kelly.)

Streaming XCOM2: War Of The Chosen

First time WOTC playthrough. I wonder how different this'll make the game.

Wincing a bit each time I remember that not only did i beat Xcom2 on impossible Iron Man, I did it while accidentaly double handicaping myself because a forgot a basic mecanic of the world map which lead to me being constantly broke and having to fight with less upgrades.

Also handicaped myself by refusing to play without the introductory mission of WoTC which makes it so the first mission doesn't give you the faction unit you should have.

I was just like "man I barely have enough money to do stuff, the bosses constantly slash my montly earnings but it doesn't matter cause I'm broke" and "why is the start so much more difficult than it should, this seems malicious".

If you're not talking smack back to the enemy then you're not getting the full experience. That was one of my favorite parts about the Chosen in XCOM2:WOTC tbh.

Shock an Run

As Mikey lays on the ground dazed by the explosion his body shakes with pain, he feels something drip onto his hand as its pressed against his side, it hurts kind of an as he looks down, he sees why.

A chunk of shrapnel is lodge in his side, orange blood covers his hand an goes down his tail, his armor, which was lighter than most, still did its job and protected him from the majority of the shrapnel.

He slowly pushed himself up and looked for his friend and leader, but he's nowhere to be seen, the explosions seemed to have finally stopped, his side hopefully won.

He started hissing as he slithered low to the ground, following the smell of Max, soon he finds him.

Max is on the ground, either dead or unconscious, he lays there unmoving.

As he gets close, he reach’s out and grabs max’s neck, his scalie thumb and pointer finger on his neck and feels for a pulse.

He waits and waits and then……. A low thump is felt, his friend lives, he hissed lightly, and looks around seeing a nearby bush shake and quickly points his plasma pistol at the bushes waiting, it’s low humming slowly growing louder with each second, his body shielding max.

‘He is my friend! I won’t let him die, I’ve let to many die but not him!’

He stares at the bushes slowly part and and armored glove with a green bandana is held out.

He immediately lowers his pistol and sees a fellow soldier drag their injured friend through the bush.

“Max! Oliver is injured we need-“, the soldier stops and stares at mike and max, as mike simply holds him and checks for any wounds.

“God fucking damnit!”, the soldier growls as hr picks his friend up.

“Mikey! Grab max! We need to retreat back to base! The Boss is going fucking pissed”, as the human speaks Miley picks max up with little effort, having done so many times.

The soldier starts running with his friend on his back as mike follows swiftly behind him.

Whoever the boss is, let’s hope he keeps and open mind about snakes.

XCOM 2

XCOM 2's DLC finally went on sale!! I love it, there's so much content. (So much Central. I get to take him on a mission at some point!!) - I didn't realize until now that the Speaker is Garrus! From Mass Effect! It's a credit to his acting I guess that he can take a voice like that and manage to sound SO unappealing and slimy as the Speaker. - Tried to find anything NSFW of Central, no luck. It doesn't exist. I'll just have to draw my own, I guess. But in my searching I did learn that apparently the snake aliens are popular porn subjects.  - I am LOVING the propaganda posters you can make in the DLC. They are gloriously tacky, I can't get enough of it. I take one after every mission and for every set of bondmates!
