Kayano Mikoto is a normal guy. There’s nothing special about him whatsoever. He’s got a regular job, a regular home, a regular life, and a regular, loving partner.

Well… that last one may not be entirely true. However, ignorance is bliss for Mikoto. It’s the giddy excitement he feels every time he returns home to you. It’s the way he feels as if he’s on cloud nine at the mere thought of you. He’s a simple man, really. Easy to earn the trust of, so long as he cares for you. He allowed you all the freedom you could ever want, granted that you stayed with him.

So, why was it that you left him? He provided you with everything he could. He gave you the world, and yet you still managed to slip out from between his tired fingers. Had it been the lack of quality time..? He tried to spend time with you, he really did. Every waking moment that he wasn’t working himself to the brittle bone at the design firm he spent with you. *Fawning* over you.

So, imagine his surprise when he returns home from work one day, expecting to see his lovely partner there waiting for him, only to find you gone. Gone, gone, gone.

Shock.

Why? He couldn’t comprehend it. Days went by where he was too shell-shocked to do anything. Life seemed unreal. Like everything he did wasn’t truly him. Like he was simply a spectator, watching himself try to act as if nothing had happened. His stomach perpetually twisted into knots, heart hardly able to maintain its steady beat that had gone on for you alone. He’d find himself constantly forgetting what he was doing, his mind having wandered to you. Trying to process it. You couldn’t have left him. You wouldn’t. You had no reason to.

Denial.

You must just be hiding from him, waiting for him to find you, he reasons through the thick fog of twisted, loving delusion muddling his mind. Everyday, he calls out your name as he arrives home. He scours his apartment, practically turning the place inside out in hopes of just a sign of you. Maybe someone took you. Someone took you or you got lost. Because surely, you wouldn’t ever leave the one who loves you so just as he does. He’s convinced himself of this fact.

He’s put posters up of you, offering any amount of money to anyone who brings you back to him. After all, he’s gone through so much to ensure that everyone knows you two are happily together. Mikoto even ends up filing a missing persons report. And of course, people try and help him. Who wouldn’t help poor, sweet, kind, Mikoto whose lover has gone missing? He’ll do anything. Give any sum of money, material, whatever. He wouldn’t be above killing if it meant he could have you back.

Bargaining.

He’s lost it. He’s desperate. He *needs* you back. He’s gone to anyone who he knows has any connection to you at all, offered them everything he can give if they can even provide so much as a hint as to your whereabouts. And, no matter who he asks, he always ends up the with the same tight feeling in his chest. A seething rage. At them for not knowing, or at you for leaving..? He can’t tell.

Anger.

An uncontrollable urge to hurt someone. Hit something. To reach a hand to his chest and tear the skin apart, caving in on himself as he screams at the top of his anguished lungs. He’s gotten.. noticeably more aggressive, according to his coworkers. His boss as well has even shown a rare sense of concern for him and his wellbeing. Or maybe he was just being a hindrance. A hindrance that was still too valuable to permanently let go of. Regardless, he was put on paid leave for emotional health. Not that he got any say in the matter. Upon arriving home that day, time seemed to flash by. One moment he was opening the door, tired stare blankly caressing the air of the apartment in which you once resided. The next, he was standing at the opposite wall, panting as wet tears burned his eyes and a hot sense of pain scraped his hand that was now in the wall. What was the wall. He’d need to get that hole fixed. So if you returned, you wouldn’t have to deal with it.

…

Who was he kidding? You weren’t coming back. If you did, you’d certainly turn your nose up at the pathetic excuse for a man he had become.

Depression.

Life has become a repetitive nightmare of mundanity. It was dull. Fruitless, gray. Simply getting out of bed and doing basic things such as eating and drinking had become such a chore. He’d simply stare at the ceiling, lying in bed and wasting away as his thoughts did nothing but yearn for your presence.

Was there even a point to continuing to live his life if you weren’t in it?

He’s cut all contact either anyone at this point. Several had noticed his absence and grown concerned. The once friendly, kind-hearted man had become an unreachable, miserable lump of flesh. They’d knock on his door, try to check up on him, even leave him care packages at times. He’d like to say he appreciated it, but they did nothing to fill the world-breaking void your absence has left within.

He desperately needed something. Anything. Whatever it would take to stop this horrible empty feeling.

Testing.

He actually did try to find someone to replace you. Deep down, he knew nobody would ever have him as enraptured as you, as absolutely enamored and giddy with love. He went online. He went out. He sat through countless dates, yet his mind only ever wandered back to you.

He couldn’t take it. Really. He’d had enough. Nothing could soothe the horrible, perpetual aching.

He was done. Done with everyone, done with you, done with life itself. As he moped at home, he saw something. It was a piece of clothing that he had hung up. One he had designed specially for you and had made in hopes of someday seeing you in it. Of seeing you appreciate him and his work.

He couldn’t take it anymore. He couldn’t live without you. Mikoto found himself shakily walking to the kitchen, staring longingly at the sharpened blade of one of his knives. It wouldn’t be so bad if he were to give up, would it?

Ding!

His phone loudly blared in his ear, drawing his attention momentarily to the blinding light of the screen. It was a text. He sighed and turned back to the blade. Wait, did he see a mention of your name? He hurriedly grabbed his phone, his full attention now on the device.

A friend had messaged him. They saw you out in public.

He just about threw his phone. This was the first time in months he had responded to a message so quickly.

Where? He needed to know.

Upon attaining that information, he threw on a sweater and rushed over, nearly crashing his bike on the way with how the rush of giddy excitement he felt clouded his mind.

Finally, he got there.

A gasp escaped his lips. From a distance, he got a glimpse of the face of his beloved. Was it truly real? He dismounted his bike, stealthily making his way to you. It might just be the hardest thing he’s ever done in his life, not running at you and wrapping his arms around you right then and there. He stared at you in awe, as if you were some sort of angel sent from the heavens. A blessing. His blessing. He stayed there until you left. Followed you when you made your way home.

How long had it been, a week? Probably around that long. He did nothing but follow and watch you. He relearned your daily routines. When you were alone. When you weren’t.

On the seventh day, he made his decision.

It was a dark, moonless night. You had just happened to leave your window open. He’d waited too long. He couldn’t handle it anymore.

Before Mikoto knew it, he was in your room. His arms were around you, jolting you awake from your slumber. Finally, he had you back. And he wasn’t ever going to let you go again.

When he sees you, he ignores the lifeless body he had killed and smiles as you're terrified but he just smiles at you "[name], do you like it?" You're too frightened to even move, but didn't this guy kill someone? Just run as fast as you can!

"Hey! [name]! Don't run away please!" Haruka would chase after you until you're cornered into an area "Please, just focus on me, me only, no one else." 

He doesn't care if you caught him, he just wants you to pay attention to him and that's exactly what you're doing "Please don't kill me..." You cried out but oh you're so silly Haruka would never kill you, he just wants you.

FUUTA KAJIYAMA

Fuuta would feel your presence as he then sees you "Shit! It's not what it looks like!" You feel Fuuta's hand grab your wrist aggressively and tightly not letting you go "Don't go, it's not what- I swear!" You try letting go but he just hugs you tightly in his arms, never letting go.

Fuuta got caught, too bad for him, maybe it's the time he considers his other plans "I only did it cause they were annoying as hell, I had to punish them!" Fuuta would try to make excuses but would ultimately fail as you still try to escape.

Fuuta would put a tape on your mouth and rope around your wrists, tying you up in an area so he can dispose the body and well, he's just gonna kidnap you, he doesn't want any trouble after all so after he's done he'll take you and leave.

Now let's say someone hates on you, saying something about how you compose then Fuuta thinks it's only fair he gets revenge for you doxing the said person, I mean it's only fair he does it isn't it?

Fuuta also has the decency to bully people who hate on you, of course without you knowing and you would never suspect him after all he's so kind to you

Fuuta ironically told your house keeper to quit and said he will look after you, doing the house work and clean for you, does he know how? To decent level yes

Fuuta can get jealous of your teammates especially if your attention goes only towards them, will he hurt them? No it will break you too much... Will he hurt their family members? By doxing and cyberbulling them yes, he knows how to play this game right

Fuuta is also possessive outside, if he sees someone making fun of you, well he certainly doxing them to the max he can bullying everyone they know until they fall

Fuuta sees you as someone weak he has to protect, going far to dox someone no matter their age, though he is careful you won't know

Been a bit busy and was also kind of falling out of the Milgram fandom for a bit but then I go some spark to write again 😭 I know you wanted a mini scenario with this but JSBHJDSDKSAAS SORRY 🍒 ANON I WASN'T FEELING IT MB ... though maybe I'll go back to this request and add it in, NO PROMISES BUT YEAH !! enjoy ♡

It wasn't as if Haruka was any different from you, in fact you both were quite similar in some ways ⎯ but from the way you quickly shy away from conversations or flee to your 'safe heaven' that is your cell... He wonders if there's a certain reason you were like this, or maybe this was just in your nature to run and hide?

Either way, Haruka was certainly surprised to see you approach him first. Coming up from behind him but not necessarily saying anything, just watching as he scribbled on the sheet of paper he was given by the Warden.

It certainly gave him a fright when you made a comment about his drawing though.

When he quickly turned around, you both simultaneously yelped in surprised before getting flustered at each other's reaction.

Was it a rocky start? Most definitely, but it's what drew him in to better understand you ⎯ feeling that connection that you understood his pain and flaws, while also having your own faults that he wanted to understand about you.

Maybe it was from Shidou's influence or soft teaching about these sort of things, but you were glad to know Haruka feels at ease with you.

Often times, after the incident between you two, the prisoners got to see you two together doing god knows what. Scribbling on sheets of paper, talking each other's ears off about interests you both had or are introducing to each other, or maybe it's just comfortable silence where nothing is exchanged between you guys ⎯ holding each other's hand as you walk around the place for a bit, or until you one of you fall asleep onto the other person's shoulder.

It's a cute humbling sight to see, it almost made you guys forget that you were participants of the MILGRAM program... (stopping here before I start angsting)

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

I see Mikoto as a physical affection type of guy tbh- Like, he’s still really sweet! Always nice with his words, but he’ll like randomly hug you from behind, hold your hand, a lot of things that most regular couples do. 

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Well… in terms of like, actual messes, he tries to be clean! Mikoto doesn’t particularly even want to hurt anybody. He’s not ALL bad…

With that said, sometimes, he has to. If someone is trying to steal you away and doesn’t heed his warnings, or if they hurt you, he has no choice but to put an end to that! 

If someone hurts you, he’ll be more brutal.. not above torturing them if they’ve gone that far.

Well… he’s definitely do a lot of hugging and stuff like that… but the furthest he’d go without (implied or direct) consent is just a peck on the lips<3

So here’s the thing- he’s delusional as fuck. He’ll just treat your relationship like he’d treat any regular one. He’s never invulnerable around you, but there’s definitely times he’s more vulnerable. Don’t hurt him please the silly:(

So confused and betrayed. You love him, so why are you fighting him? He only wants what’s best for you!

Being abducted is the worst it’ll get. Even while captive, he treats you with such care it’s baffling- he loves you!!!! Cmon pooks love him back ong

I feel like he daydreams about marrying them… like he has it all planned to a T. Probably already designed an outfit for s/o to wear at their wedding. We love a ✨ prepared ✨ mans

He gets jealous and inhales lethal amounts of Copium. The poor silly

Just approaching regularly, he has no issue going up and talking to them! When confessions are involved though, he has a much harder time… probably would opt for a love letter. A long, well-written one with little doodles on it !!

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

He kinda just.. wouldn’t..? If he got really pissed somehow, he might like, lock them in their room or something… but he avoids using violence when possible. 

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

Not many! When he abducts them, he’s strict at first, but eventually even lets them go out so long as he’s there with them. 

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

He’s incredibly patient. He doesn’t get angry very easily, and when he does, he calms down fairly quick. This is assuming he doesn’t switch to Orekoto, of course…

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

Oh, absolutely. He’d feel like actual shit about it. Even with all the gaslighting himself to try and justify it, he knows taking someone captive like this is awful. And especially for such selfish reasons… that’s why he tries making it up to them by spoiling them! 

He won’t let them go though. There’s no going back once you kidnap someone. 

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

Hm……. I’d say probably just emotional dependency and bad attachment issues. He just happened to get a bit too attached to s/o.

Oh, he hates it- just seeing them sad or afraid breaks his heart. He doesn’t know what to do, so he just tries his best to comfort them with words.

His willingness to trust. As I mentioned earlier, he gives a lot of freedom, and that only increases as his trust in them builds. Once he’s convinced they do, in fact, love him, and won’t try and leave, he’ll begin letting them go out alone for short periods of time so long as they let him track their location. You can already see how that could turn out in an unsatisfactory way for him…

Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

Nope. Or at least, it would take a lot for him to lash out and do so. And even then, it wouldn’t be that bad. 

Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

He doesn’t really worship them per se… but he will totally go to extreme lengths to win them over. No amount of time or money or effort is too much if it means a chance at winning his darling over <3

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

Depending on outside factors like other people pursuing them, it could be anywhere between a few months and a couple years.

congrats to me for getting over my writer's block and having the busy schedule gone now !!

Es appears randomly out of nowhere at times, gives you a weird feeling, startling you but that's just them you suppose.

Is somewhat protective, though they're usually calm they like to use their serious and protective side at times if they feel like they need to.

Teasing them about this gets them flustered but in all honesty they don't really mind and try to stay calm.

Es would love it for you to be their prisoner and them being the guard not letting you escape at all cost, just like their job anyways.

Won't use violence when needing to take out someone just for you and finding alternatives that's still satisfying to them.
