Whole time the closest thing to Divinity/God that appears in this move is the ancestors of past and future through music and community.

But when Remmick dances and sings with the people he’s basically enslaved in earthly damnation with him there are no Ancestors or God. In his weird hivemind vampire situation there is no connection to the divine.

Because of this I figured Sinners offers humans up as divine in our own capacities and I think that’s really beautiful considering the silent but domineering nature that God seems to have in the story.

A lot of times (not all the times) this is also bc of the lack of a good and well developed female character in media. Like, there ARE really well constructed and three dimensional female characters. But there's been too many times where I obsess over smth and then realize there are like 3 non background girls in there and two of them are completely plain with no actual personality and/or fall into some kind of annoying female character clique (manic pixie dream girl, Mary Sue, or a girly girl whose only personality trait is liking men). And most people, myself included sometimes, end up getting drawn at the male characters that actually have some depth or idk a ROLE in the story and obsessing over them, never really bothering to make a personality (even a fanmade one) out of the girls. But idk that's what I think

i dont really know how to articulate this but its crazy just how many people dont even realize they dont care about female characters. all their faves are men. they never talk about girls without being led into it. and when you try to point this out to them they try to defend themselves that their faves are just the archetypes they like, despite clearly not caring when that same archetype is a woman. like i feel like at a certain point it is your problem with the common denominator if you cant find a single female character to enjoy

you know, it kinda sucks to hear about your hometown a lot in the news, especially back in the day, but for all the wrong reasons. Oh Mariupol — one of the greatest tragedies of this war. The tyranny, the painful memories of what we could have had stripped away in an instant. I never had any concrete dreams but I had a plan for my future there, now — gone. I don't know what to even do. It is disgusting what happened to the city. All warmth I had about it is gone, now just a tear breaking nostalgia. Yes my school still stands — now it is riddled with propaganda, first thing these nazis did was cover all Ukrainian symbolism there. My home is still standing — I am not there anymore, everything about it now is just painful to think about. Cold scary nights and days in complete isolation from the outside world, thinking I would die at any moment, thinking that my best friend is dead, crying over everyone I know who doesn't know where I am and if something happened, loud sounds: tanks, grenades, aviation, shelling, bombing, anything, constantly, every day, thinking my only family here could be dead when I am home alone when they haven't returned for the whole day, screams in agony of people who got injured, dead bodies on the streets, lack of proper food(thankfully we didn't run out).

If you think that russians are building a better society there, think again, because in no way in hell this is a logical conclusion to get to. "russian speaking communities were oppressed by Ukrainian government" no we weren't, I tell you this as a person who spoke solely russian in my family and with fiends. We were in 0 danger from Ukraine's side but in all by russians. I didn't have a problem speaking russian before, I was born like that, it was normal. Now I only speak this language with family and close friends, in no way I'm going to be using it openly on the internet. "Oh but they are building new houses there" they were the ones to destroy them. All of them. Now they are moving their people in there. They are proud of what they've done. Sounds like Generalplan Ost of modern times to me. And I'm also going to mention that's the same thing USSR was doing back then too. Occupation, erasure of cultures. russia is a colonial empire. It will be for as long as it has all its current territory.

I became dull to all these memories, they don't seem real or matter that much to me, when they should. I am not going to be the one to downplay this war. It is horrifying.

Thoughts on the aro/ ace representation on the realm smp.

(Note, everything is characters but I’m way to lazy to go through and tr! Every name so :3)

I just want to say how much I love the aro rep in the realm . For example, the way yesterday, how pili explained his feelings towards Pangi just. It’s so real to me. And let’s be honest half of this fandom is on the aro/ace spectrum and it’s just so nice to finally see represntaion.

I also love the way that pili and bad and ros have that thing surrounding murder, not inherently sexual but it is like a form of attraction to them. Of course I am a big believer that this is yet another good form of aro rep , even if it’s not really true to real life it shows like just the diffent way of attraction some people feel. I also LOVE the sense that to to them it was inherently an attraction based thing but to others it wasnt really? That’s just felt like such an aro experience even if that’s just me. Like for example as how pili felt being killed was special and well a bit of an equivalence to sexual type things however it wasnt really sexual? And others definitely didn’t see it the same (coughpangicough) it just felt so nice to see that kind of thing represented. Idk.

Another pili related one is how currently Pangi is in a well romantic situationship with Lukey (atp , but they might stop like today 😭😭) and how pili has had to watch as someone he well loves in a sense not feel the same type of thing for him, and has to watch him love some one else like THATS SO REAL AKWLWKEKWK. I just can’t explain how much it relate to that feeling. The obsessive want for the same amount of affection that they’d give to a romantic partener platonically, but they just can’t or don’t and it feels so sad like wkwlwkekkwks guys I. This has literally just made it so much easier for me to understand the way I i feel about myself and stuff I’m just so happy tagt the repetition finally exists even if it is in silly Minecraft rp.

i think i predicted the 166 rewrite bc in 2018 (i knew of scp but only surface level characters) i had a dream i met a deer girl with long hair and a white dress, and then a couple months later in my english class we had to create a story book character and i remembered that deer girl and i drew her. and then two years later 166 got rewritten and people draw her exactly like in my dream……. im a visionary guys
