It’s insane to me how straight people will produce media where two men have extreme homoerotic tension and say things like “I want you by my side” “we want the same thing” “you’re so adorable” “you’ve never looked beautiful” and “i’ll always be there” while they stare at each othering lovingly and call each other pet names…..only to turn around and say that they’re “brothers” and “best friends”

saw a youtube comment talking about how Peter’s powers are more than mere superspeed---how he can essentially manipulate gravity and inertia and that’s why when he throws people out of the mansion they don’t die, and why he can listen to music super fast. Everything within his bubble operates under his power’s rules, basically, and that’s also why he can make it so that he can stand still (not running) while everyone else moves in slow motion. And then someone responded by saying that that would make a ton of sense because of who his father is since gravity manipulation is a lot closer to electromagnetic field manipulation than superspeed is, and I’d never thought of it that way but MY HEART

#he got that power from his dad I---#i mean obviously because mutation is genetic BUT his powers seem to have so little overlap with erik's. and yet here this is!#so his powers aren't totally separate from his dad's :*)#this is so sweet #ugh i love when they have little things like this in common #like yes they've been separated for years and years and erik doesn't even know peter's his son but LOOK there's little hints of #them being related in the smallest details #OOH what if peter realizes that he's got gravity manipulation in addition to just superspeed and he freaks out and tries to not use it in #training but it causes him to get injured because he isn't using his full power set and everyone's like 'why are you not using this if you #have it??' and he doesn't know how to explain that he doesn't want erik to somehow pick up on the similarities between their types of #force manipulation even though it's not all that noticeable #he just gets paranoid that erik will find out somehow but he keeps getting injured and eventually charles/raven are like "PLEASE talk to him #peter maximoff #quicksilver #xmen #erik lehnsherr #magneto #dadneto #dadneto and quickson #quickson #superspeed #powers

Clubbing isn't really an activity that Laurie and Erik would spontaneously choose, but I had that urge to see them dancing together. So here's my wish for these two for the new year: that they would finally be able to be together. Headcanon:

Erik to practice his metalbending, he makes fidget toys for Peter. While Erik are Baoding balls and coins; it really helps with his dexterity. Also how he controls metals, so he doesn't have to be so dramatic and can be subtle in his motions.
