The Rafa and Nole rivalry is intense,it's fiery and it's very,well intense really idk any other word. It's more long lasting due to the smaller age gap but the Rafa and Roger rivalry. Fedal,it's a story. It's one of those literature books you find in old libraries that in a way is just so mesmerising and you want to read the next part so fast and can't wait for that next page but at the same time you don't want to finish it,you don't want to see the end.

Sometimes I wish I can turn back time just so I can watch their rivalry from the start. Rafa winning his first Roland Garros,that 2008 Wimbledon final. I have only witnessed a few years of them since I am quite young and I really just,I regret being so young even though I can't do anything about it.

There will never be a rivalry like them. Perhaps,in the future there may be a more intense rivalry,with more heat and maybe more "bromance" but there will never be another fedal. It's just something that cannot be repeated.

Cause the pig was BORING!! The pig is every other Disney princess sidekick that's cute but otherwise forgettable. I cheered internally SO HARD when the chicken came with her instead!

I had a chicken like Hei hei, so this was an amazing addition. An arrow is shot at him, *curiously and comically pecks at it*

What would have the pig done? The boring logical thing of squeal and hide Probably. He's cute, but predictable and dull. Would have added nothing to the trip other than an extra face.

Leave the pig at home, or give it an actual purpose. The chicken was at least comedy relief.

no by all means keep judging cartoon villains solely by if they get redeemed in the end. i know some of us like to talk about other stuff like characterization or entertainment value or nuance as something that makes a good villain. but i think the only thing that actually matters is if the villain ends up on good terms with the protagonist at the end. all the Good TM cartoons with Good TM creators make the villains die a Horrible Death for being Abusers or whatever. and all the Bad TM cartoons with Bad TM creators Forgive Fascists by not making them get publicly executed by the 14 year old protagonist in front of the 8 year old target demographic.

i mean im so glad that more cartoons nowadays are subverting the psyop to support fascists that a few queer artists and queer shows definitely invented in 2017. there are so many popular cartoons doing that. it's almost like there are more properties killing their villains now and in the past than there ever were of properties that didn't do this. and it's almost like whether the villain gets redeemed at the end is more about the context of the story and its themes leading up to a narratively sound decision.

but you know. a few queer shows made by trans ppl were popular and they didn't kill their fascists and even had the gall to make them nuanced while also looking into the harm they did. guess it's trendy to forgive your abusers now because like two cartoons said so. out of like 40 other similarly high profile works that just straight up hit their villains with a bus or smth. by all means. keep heaping praise onto that one show about how they "let their villain just be evil" instead of talking about anything more interesting. that's so subversive, everyone's doing it!

any other asian/poc sunny fans in awe of how popular the "solves the north korea situation" episode still is. not rcg perpetuating the infantilization of asian women (as if an asian child looks the same as an asian woman right?) and the tiger mom stereotype, having a scene where an asian person just happens to know martial arts, and having the asian characters speak in super exaggerated accents all in one episode (listen to tania's/sun li's real accent here). and then when it came to talk about it in the podcast they were half apologetic but mostly embarrassed/awkward for like 2 minutes and then kinda just moved past it. "our hearts were in the right place." it's all so different from when they portray the gang doing racist things because in this case they're portraying asian people as though they're Like That (in this universe).

Y'all ever try to explain something that has to do with something else and both of those somethings are really deep into the series you're watching/reading/listening to? And to explain that little bit, you have to go back and explain the earlier events so all this isn't out of context and really wierd. So you're sitting there going into grat detail about a characters backstory so you can explain why they believe thus so you can explain why they did this like. Do any of y'all have adhd and bipolar or know of any good accounts of what having both is like? I've noticed that I've been having some seriously abnormal moods recently, and the more I look into it, the more I think that it looks a lot like bipolar, but I'm not sure how it would interact with my adhd, or even if there's anything other than my adhd going on at all.
